In 2007 I went to their sister school Alexia and did very well and the next semester they sent me to University of Phoenix online. In December my computer crashed SO WITH THE GRANT MONEY I PURCHASED A NEW COMPUTER and I called them and they said that they drop me and told me I could no longer attend unless I pay them $1500 and something nor could I get my transcript. I attempted to re enroll at their campus schools here in Oklahoma but they would not allow me to re enroll unless I paid them the $1500. I can't pay that all at one time. I did not bring that home on my once moth State Pay check after they take out. and you READ that right. I still have the same job no promotion living from pay check to pay check. They lied about the cost to attend the school. If I go to another school I have to start ALL over and more student loans. Its embarrassing that I am still at the same level I started 23 years ago on my job and when I took the chance to better myself and children I got knocked down from this school. I can't promote I have no skill but I TRIED and continue to try I am Crying as I write this review It just not fare ALL I WANT IS TO FINISH SCHOOL & GET MY ASSOCIATES DEGREE. Do anyone know what I can do? Thanks! Phyllis from Oklahoma SPELL CHECK. ' AXIA COLLEGE' is the name of one of your other Schools UNLESS it was one of those that you ALL closed DOWN! If you did close it down I should be able to get my TRANSCRIPT that ALL I WANT. I am still paying my loan that you all got and the loans that I know that wasn't told to me! SO WHAT NOW, NOW THAT I KNOW YOU LIED SAYING THAT YOU DON'T OR DIDN'T HAVE A SISTER SCHOOL CALL AXIA COLLEGE?

This is the worst school to attend. I mean classes are great and easy, but they lie to you from when they help you with financial aid to giving you a first notice that is also a last notice that you have one day to make a 2000 dollar payment. then it s gets sent to a collection agency. In the end, i lost all financial aid and they destroyed my credit. so no more college because i can t afford it without financial aid and can t buy a house or car with bad credit. thank you university of phoenix. this was my first time trying out college and because of all this mess y all have created for me, i am unable to start my college career for a long time.

First off, this school is expensive and convenient. I'm a retired veteran that was wounded in Afghanistan, I can't attend a brick and mortar school. No one paid me for this review and I received my Bachelors degree from UOP recently. There are some bone heads in the classes that usually end up dropping. I learned more by reading than sitting in a college class listing to boring professors. The main thing is they're accredited, my credits transfered to Arizona State University where I'm in the Masters degree program. It's a personal choice and it's easier for many working people because of their schedule.

Worst school! GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! Financial Aid office is very unproffessional and unorganized. The school makes you take courses in the beginning that are nothing but a way for them to get more money and would never transfer to another college. They are a scam! They lowered tuition rates but made sure to add these ridiculous classes to make up for it. They put you in the college classes before financial aid is complete and then will send you to a collection agency within a month should financial aid not work out. By the way, the finance department is the worst department in the whole college! The enrollment advisors are super nice but that is thier job so they can get you trapped in this fraudulent school. I started back at Southern New Hampshire University, which unlike this pathetic place is nonprofit. I am super happy with that school and there proffessionalism. COMMUNITY MANAGER, DO NOT EVEN WASTE MY OR YOUR TIME WITH YOUR REPLY ABOUT EMAILING WHO EVER, I HAVE BEEN EMAILING THIS SCHOOL FOR MONTHS AND LIKE ANOTHER REVIEWER SAID ITS A CALL CENTER AND NO ONE ACTUALLY KNOWS ANYTHING AND ALL YOU GET IS COMPUTERIZED RESPONSES! For anyone looking into this school, please just do not! I have proof of all the information in this, with screen shots and letters and I have no problem showing you if it will save someone else from making this same mistake! If you don't want to take my word for it, look on Google at all the rating websites and review websites. They have more bad reviews than good. I did not make it this far but I hear if you graduate from here, your degree is looked at as a joke and no one will hire you! So, with all the information I hope you make a better decision than I did. I looked at all the bad reviews and just shrugged it off hoping it would be different for me and it wasn't! I hope this school gets a lawsuit, like it has in the past! I will completely involve myself should anyone want to start a class action!

University of Phoenix online is a great program for students on the go. I was extremely happy that I had the flexibility to work and travel. Also, their staff is diligent in helping students with their academic, financial, and career needs. Anyone who attends UOP will see that the e-campus site is user friendly. Finally, the instructors care about your learning experience as a whole. I definitely recommend people to this institution of higher learning!

Horrible school! The admissions department will lie to you to get you to enroll. Then if you withdraw you will be charged per credit. In this case I logged on twice and answered a question in the discussion, once I realized this wasnt what was advertised I withdrew they billed me for the class anyway. Do some research beforehand and make sure this is the school for you. They are a joke!

Pathetic school, don t waste your money here. I have unfortunately taken some of their classes and they are a joke, just like their degrees. My wife is in class here and even with my military discount and full GI bill that I transferred over to her, they still find a way to charge us. Complete crooks but I should have expected it. Make no mistake, they are solely in it to take your money. Go anywhere else other than this fly by night University .

I am a full-time working, married, mother of four. I volunteer on our local Relay For Life committee throughout the year. I also teach the toddler Sunday school class at our church during the spring and fall. Throw in kids' sports and activities - my schedule is a little busy. Finding the time to further my education and show my family and children that bettering yourself can be done no matter what limitations you think you face seemed impossible. University of Phoenix showed me the way. I am one year away from graduating with my Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration. UoP keeps their classes well-structured and engaging. They are never so overwhelming that you feel defeated. Being able to focus on one class at a time makes it easier for me to balance my life while I secure a better future for our family. For that I am grateful.

I have learned so much not only from my professors but from other UOP students. I would recommend UOP to anyone who works fulltime but wants to further their education.

Allow me to start off by saying that I am in no wa...

Allow me to start off by saying that I am in no way affiliated with the UOPX. I do not get paid for any comments that I write. Having said that, my experience with the UOPX was great! The education that I received at the UOPX surpassed that of any other conventional brick-and-mortar university that I previously attended. At the UOPX, you get real-world expertise and education from professionals that work in your field of study.

At first, I was one of those individuals that doubted the academic rigor of the UOPX. I even explored other universities trying to debunk the UOPX's credibility and academic rigor only to find out that other public universities out there were far worse. The other public universities that I dealt with had nowhere near the quality of customer service or concern for me as the UOPX did. Believe me, I tried to prove that the UOPX was a bad university. I tried to prove that all of these other individuals who give the UOPX one star and complained about the UOPX were right. But that was not the case with me.

When I first attended the UOPX, I doubted the University's academic rigor and credibility. However, as I continued to progress at the UOPX, I found out that the UOPX was actually very challenging academically. The UOPX is geared toward students who genuinely want to challenge themselves. Therefore, do not believe these negative comments that you read on the Internet about the UOPX because most of those individuals that write those negative comments did not even complete their program of study. The point is to decide for yourself as I did. Work hard, and it will all pay off in the end!

All in all, the UOPX is for students who are self-motivated, disciplined and determined to succeed. So for those of you who are lazy and think you are just going to coast by without putting in any effort into your academic journey than the UOPX is not for you. As far as my experience is concerned, I dealt with a lot of sleepless nights, extensive research, writing, tests, etc. But it was all worth it! I never had any issues with the counselors, financial aid disbursement, etc. I am glad that I chose the UOPX to continue my education! I learned so much throughout my academic tenor, and I am proud to be a UOPX graduate!

This is the most for profit college on the face of the Earth. It's no wonder they have an 11% graduation rate. I found the two people that actually cared about people that attended the school and was lucky enough to have them as my academic advisors. I will never seek any further education from this college or its affiliated education facilities.

Took some classes there. I even have a degree. Its a worthless degree because they told me there were classes that were listed as required, but I didn't need to take them. I assumed they knew what they were talking about. When I tried to get a job using my degree I couldn't because of those classes I was told weren't needed really were needed. I tried to transfer my course credits to Arizona State Univ. When I asked the school about transfering the credits they laughed out loud at me. So I have a useless piece of paper and debts. Stay away from this place at all costs and if you really want thst degree, look around online and buy you one for $150. Wish I had.

I ve been disputing with them for 11 years. I took their Psychology program in 2008 and it was a mess! To top it off, they would not work with me and would not let me continue classes when they knew it was their fault. So I withdrew! Years later I m still paying off the student loan. It s all about money with these cons and not about the student! Biggest lesson learned. There are so many other wonderful online programs out there with professors and staff who care. I would run as far as you can from UOP!

For starters I only considered this school because of the accessibility for online programs. I spoke to a counselor awhile ago while attending a different college and spoke to her about admission classes etc. After thinking everything was fine and going through the process of applying. I was then told my diploma wasnt acceptable and I would then need to take the GED. I was homeschooled by a accredited program in the state of california.
I was told it was ILLEGAL in the state of california by the counselor! A simple google search can explain to you the legalities of schooling in each state. Mind you I've attended college previously. Never had any issues with any other accredited college. Also never had any issues financial aid wise either.
The ignorance is just unreal to me. The fact I was told one thing by one person and something different by another. That more steps cant be taken in researching what's actually legal in my state as well or what can be accepted by accredited schools? Ridiculous.

Luckily, my academic and financial counselors were fully engaged from beg til end. When I first started my general study course, my instructor told me time management is the key to success as an online student. It worked! Also, the sources are accessible 24-hours. For instance, the university library, etc. As a result, I emerged as a better writer, student and personally evolved. Even though some teams and groups became very challenging, I remained on course to obtaining my goals. I understand that a portion of students do not share the same experience. On a few occassions, I wanted to give up, but I chose to hang in and graduate. I thought I would attend graduate school at Temple, Drexel or Wharton, but I chose to remain as a MBA student. Overall, I agree that it is important to be in a learning environment where you can grow, and build trustworthy relationships with classmates, faculty, and administration.

The University of Phoenix actually helps to educat...

The University of Phoenix actually helps to educate those who otherwise would not have the advantage of a college education. They start at the beginning and provide the building blocks for the student to move from one class to the next as they acquire the necessary skills to develop critical thinking, writing, math, and specialty skills. Although many believe the school is 'fake', I can assure you that the materials are genuinely well-designed and thought-provoking. There are many different types of people who attend the University; however, there is no way the undeserving could continue to move through the process and eventually obtain a degree. The people who are not willing to work hard and devote at least 3-4 hours per day to their schoolwork are not going to continue to stay in class for long. Those who do persevere have worked very hard to go through the University process, usually while maintaining a full-time job and with families. They are to be commended for the tenacity and work ethic.

The University of Phoenix gave me the opportunity ...

The University of Phoenix gave me the opportunity to seize a dream I never thought I'd be able to achieve. Their online classes gave me the chance to be the person I could see in my mind's eye. I earned my Bachelor's in Psychology with them and I am currently in my Masters program for Clinical Mental Health with them. I would not be the person I am today, nor have the opportunities I have in front of me if not for them. The work is hard, but they provide us with a lot of support to help us succeed. If you have a dream or if you're worried you can't be the best version of yourself because life will not let you attend a brick and mortar campus University of Phoenix is a wonderful place to help you achieve both.

It was been a LONG 3 1/2 almost 4 years at this zoo that is referred to as a University.

First off, the academic and financial counselors are horrid. What's the point in having an assigned counselor when they barely pick up the phone or respond to emails, and you are re-directed to another counselor every time your appointed one doesn't answer?! Bogus.

Secondly, the classes. I went to campus classes for 3 yrs. Honestly, I have learned pretty much of nothing throughout my time at UOP. The books/curriculum is shot. The only semi-good thing was that most of the teachers worked in my field of study and provided insight into what it would be like working in the profession I was aiming toward. In addition, half of the students could barely write a complete sentence, which made it hard for me to work with some people in learning teams. The online classes were pretty easy. Luckily I only had to work in a learning team for 1 class which made it a lot easier. But, in my LAST online class before I graduated, my teacher (ELISA DOEBLER-IRVINE --- RUN FAR AWAY FROM THIS CHICK) decided to report me for plagiarism. She clearly didn't know what the hell she was talking about because for one, she was a horrible teacher who barely even read student papers, let alone knew about the curriculum for that class. Two, her tone and demeanor toward me were very disrespectful throughout the 5 weeks we communicated online, which led me to believe she was just out to get me. With that being said, their grading system is FLAWED. This caused me to receive a written warning which I was pissed about, as I have never had an issue with a teacher throughout my academic journey.

Lastly, the financial aid. This school is too damn expensive for my degree to be looked at as the equivalent of a degree from a fake-ass university. I'm neck deep in debt thanks to them and I have nothing to show for it but a degree that will barely get me into the graduate school of my choice. This school is all about money, not brightening the future of their students.

If you are thinking about going to this school ... THINK AGAIN.

The credits from the university are absolute trash. You will not be able to transfer 40 - 100% of your credits to other universities because other colleges think this university is illegitimate. All this university is good for is collecting money. During my second class my instructor showed up drunk. Management is non existent and the instructors do not care about what your facing in your personal life.

The University of Phoenix has been amazing from the day I called to get enrolled to now two and half years later into my degree I have been supported by everyone at that school. The staff, teachers, other students and so on! The teacher's here care and are amazing! The online classroom is awesome and easy for anyone to use! The tech support is amazing as well if you ever run into a issue they are right on it. The financial division is very helpful and very friendly! They even have a option to chat with a financial advisor if you rather do that then call ! I can not find anything at this time to say negative about the school. It has been an amazing ride!

I am currently enrolled in the Masters of Education Supervision and Administration Program and I must say this program was not created for the working class. UOPX advertises itself as a school for working adults, however, you have a class workload with 2 or more individual assignments a week, as well as, having to log-in and post 8 substantive discussions over a 3 day period in order to receive attendance and participation credit. All of the assignments are essays.....boring! They also make you do team assignments. I would not recommend this program to anyone.

I have never seen such a poorly run university in my lifetime. Financial Aid took months to process, my financial aid advisor changed four times in one year, and it can take them over a week for someone from Phoenix to return your phone call or e-mail. I have greatly enjoyed online learning in the past, but I feel that Phoenix is not being upfront or honest with its student.

Great experience with set-up, and program of classes for the doctorate in education ran very smoothly. The university listened and was responsive to issues raised during my learning journey and support was readily available. For example, resources were added or steps were provided to follow in completion of a segment of the path, including financial aid. The doctorate is not a fast or easy path and the support of the university fueled perseverance to complete mine. I would recommend the UOPX doctoral program to others in my position who are well into their careers and family lives but returning to weave the pursuit of their next level of education into their future tapestry.

This is my personal experience. Now this school is a FOR PROFIT school. Just know that, I took the first class and did the 3 week free trial and then here is where we ran into an issue. I got selected for verification for a mis click on my FAFSA. I asked if i could just change it and my Financial Aid advisor Chad Miller said no. They even asked for info that is illegal to obtain from my state, so i submitted what i could. I then called the dept. of education who told me i was cleared from my verification and the funds would go to uop. The school then still claimed i was still in verification. They even took the funds they sent. They eventally sent the funds back, but then tried to get me to pay for the class even though they encouraged me to finish it! Needless to say avoid this school. I transferred to SNHU and i am happier there. and SNHU is cheaper

Before you make a choice of whether to attend or n...

Before you make a choice of whether to attend or not, you should read my review because I'm a student and I address many of the ''issues'' people have with this school.

I'm a current student about halfway done with my bachelors in environmental science. I think this is all around a good school. People saying it's a joke were probably getting joke associates degrees (arts/business) and quitting before things get really hard... AND THEY DO! There are indeed some idiots in the lower division classes but they don't make it very far. The school allows everyone to TRY to succeed regardless of ability, but they don't let idiots graduate. There is a huge difference between allowing stupid people into your school and giving them a chance to succeed VS lowering the bar and giving them diplomas. They give everyone the opportunity to learn and grow without discrimination against ability so you will see some dumb people in the beginning. I don't see any of those people now that I'm in my upper division courses. If many of these people saying the school is a joke had stuck through it for a year or so and waited until farther down the line they would see that the mouth breathers give up or can't pass and are dropped.

Honestly the world is full of complainers. People on here saying they were ''tricked'' into getting student loans. How is one tricked into logging on the FASFA website, filling out pages of personal information and clicking apply now? There's zero personal responsibility here. Secondly they're upset about the cost which is fully disclosed in the beginning and available for anyone who cares to look if they need a reminder. There are no hidden fees or tricks. Grow up and actually take a look at the degree requirements before signing up. Do you expect to have your hand held through life or are you going to take the initiative? When I want to buy something I always check the price tag first because that's the adult thing to do!

What I see here is a low level of dedication, excuse making and a failure to take personal responsibility. One needs only to look at the writing quality of the comments to see the caliber of these quitters and complainers. Not that I'm so smart or a great writer, but I can at least form coherent sentences and express myself eloquently. Their complaints are that someone in the staff didn't jump through hoops of fire and answer their questions fast enough so they're having a tantrum. The attitude reflected in this review section is what you would expect from a generation of safe spaces and whiners that believe the world should bend at their every whim and they have an insatiable level of entitlement. ''I paid and things aren't easy and going my way.'' Boo hoo.

If this school was so easy and a diploma mill, why is their graduation rate at 17%? If it's so EASY why aren't people doing better? This school is quite hard if you choose a hard degree program and get past the prerequisites. It's very challenging and it takes a high level of dedication and personal responsibility to succeed and push yourself to study. Many people can't hack it here and need to point the finger of blame on someone else to save face. Don't be fooled by these quitters. If you're a working adult or have kids this is a great option for you. Give it a couple of years and if you hate it you can always transfer schools.

Sincerest regards

I have earned my Bachelor of Science in Information Technology and am almost finished with my MBA at the University. Taking online classes is much more challenging than expected. A lot of the complaints that come up are usually derived from misunderstandings or invalid expectations. The University has a ton more resources compared to a lot of other forprofit and nonprofit colleges and universitys. Stuff for improving academic skills and preparation for a job. The Instructors I've had have almost always been exceptional with impressive resumes and thorough knowledge of the subject. The counselors are friendly and much more involved than an average school. Yes UOP is expensive but they are more than happy to direct you to alternative credit options such as testing out to help you achieve your goals as quick as possible. Its all about what you as a student are willing to sacrifice. Dont expect them to hand you a degree and dont go in thinking the government will just hand you money. Whats most important...is getting a degree to get a better job and I can say that I had a fair amount of interviews and found a job I love. In addition the learning experience at UOP made my transition into the business world easier.

UOP is a terrific university for your average working adult. I received my MSA from there and before that I received a certificate in Small Business Management and Entrepreneurship both online. I gave them four stars because being an international student certain things could have been communicated better. Talking from one person to another they all gave a different response in reference to me getting a reference letter as most other college are able to provide you with. Other then the minor miscommunication so to speak I would recommend this university to anyone looking to go back to school while working and even with family.

I first started with UOPX in the summer of 2008. I earned my MAEd in Early Childhood Education without any problems or issues. In fact, I actually had a decent experience. It was when I decided to pursue the Ed.D when I experienced all sorts of crap. The residencies are super expensive and mostly useless. The way the program is set up, I just don't believe they actually want you to succeed. I've been in the Ed.D program for the last 7 years of my life. I have to say its been a waste. I had to switch committee chairs because of something simple she forgot to do which set me back at least a year. I also had to switch out a committee member, but it took forever to get another one on because of administration. Last June I was supposed to finish and worked so hard to get my final draft submitted, only to be told a week before submission I had all of these errors to fix (by a committee member). So, I got rejected again...Had to revamp the entire document. Here it is April 4th and I'm STILL not done. I'm supposedly finishing this spring but I have 0 hope of that happening just because of all the crap I've had to endure for the last 7 years. Even when I do finish, I don't see the prospects of getting the job I want. So, in essence I have wasted a lot of time, money and effort. I don't even think this degree will be worth all of the headaches and strife I've endured. Save your time, effort and money and go some where else. You'll be all the better for doing so.

I was going to put a bad review about this school but seems like I should've read the other horrible reviews before I even enrolled at this school. They are pathetic. So now that they aren't getting my money I can get in contact and their communication is horrible. I'll never go back. STAY AWAY FROM THIS SCHOOL!!!!!! No stars.... they are a joke. Friendly at first then your worst enemy at the end. I withdrew and am done with this school.

I have been going to school here for about 5 months and it has been great. I am able to keep working my regular job at night and still go to school with out having to adjust my schedule and I can work on my school work when my schedule allows instead of having to adjust to a classes schedule that can change every few months.

I am very glad that I made the choice of earning my degree with UoP. Everyone I have made contact with at UoP has been very helpful and have made this journey enjoyable and easier to achieve. I recommend UoP to anyone that feels like life is to busy to earn your degree, anything is possible.

The University Of Phoenix has allowed me to succeed at what I have started. It has helped me to realize I have the power to do what ever I want no matter what stage of life you are in. The University Of Phoenix has also let me know that I am a self starter motivated person that has the drive to do anything I put my mind to thanks UOP.

Do not believe a word the finance department tells you or the enrollment reps. They will do anything to get you signed up and tell you whatever you want to hear. I enjoy the class style but dealing with finance and enrollment services has been a nightmare

The new blackboard changes are terrible! I am disa...

The new blackboard changes are terrible! I am disabled and require IX extensions and when you are 14 days out of class your funds get returned to loan company and this causes the loan company to send payment due bills, which in turn hurts your credit. Then you have the hassle of contacting both your lender and the University to fix this. And IX is 5 WEEKS long. Before the custom changes to blackboard, one could just private message the instructor to remain in federal aid compliance, now you have to actually turn in assignments, which cannot be done if the work is not ready to turn in, hence making the IX more of a problem for disabled people, which goes against ADA (AMERICANS WITH DISABILITIES ACT) null and void. I have called and spoken to many people about this problem and still it persists. The whole point of an IX is to give disabled people more time to work on their individual assignments because they are unable to complete them during the scheduled class time, and causing disabled people more stress than necessary is what this new blackboard system is doing. To me, it seems, that UoP is trying to deter disabled people from attending their university. This issue alone is extremely frustrating and I am only discussing this ONE issue out of many. Plus this survey is skewed because you cannot post your remarks without giving at least one star when I want to give none.

I didnt attended here so make note i am reviewing ...

I didnt attended here so make note i am reviewing any of the professors or classes or anything. My wife and I both tried applying to this schools online courses. We have been high-school sweet hearts and have to past colleges together. We have never experienced a more trouble place to even try and apply to!!! We applied and our adviser told us to email all our transcripts. We did this and about a few days went by. our adviser stated that what she got was blanks. this isnt possible because we have to contact the other schools and get the transcripts sent over (which also costed money). she finally found them and sent them to the right department. eventually we were told that my wife transcript were good to go but mine had a problem. Pheonix was telling me that I hadnt completely an existing review for my pell grant from the very first college i went to. this in itself doesnt make any sense when i have gone to 2 colleges after leaving that one and get pell grants at those colleges as well. so i try to get this resolved and they then tell me that their systems are upgrading and they dont have access for a whole WEEK!!! very fishy and very frustrating! I finally get this done and submitted. then they go on to tell me that the transcript for my first college is incomplete. AGAIN wrong when i have gone to 2 other colleges since then and before Pheonix. they states that i didn't get credits during 1 semester that i attended. they wanted me to explain why. i told them that the college i went to was in Minnesota. my wife and I then found we were pregnant and wanted to move back home to be close to family. so during one semester we dropped out. we did everything we needed to do and paid all outstanding balances or returned all aid that we received as credit. Pheonix then had the nerve to ask for proof of birth and us moving.

I shouldnt have to prove to any schools that my wife had a baby several years ago!! I shouldnt also have to prove that I moved home. these are all personal thing that have nothing to do with me attending a college. Im sorry but if its going to be this hard to even get into a school i dont want to be any part of attending it!!

I didn't even make it through the application process and I was done with this school. First off, I spoke with this lady who seemed extremely disinterested in our conversation. By the end of our conversation she explained to me that she would be giving me a call around 3:30 that same day to further discuss the courses that I could take for my degree. 3:30 came around that day and I never received a call. By 4:15 I wondered if maybe my phone was messing up and I just wasn't receiving any calls so I called her at the number that she had emailed to me (Hours after she said she would do so) and was told by a secretary I assume that she had left for the day but that he would help me and he was much nicer than her. They had me fill out a form and then have me do their placement test I'm assuming? The guy I spoke with told me to call him as soon as I was done. I finished the placement tests and I called back and he was irritated when he picked up the phone and told me "oh I'm running out the door right now let me get your over to another rep" so I was moved to yet ANOTHER person. The woman I was transferred to was rude and talked down to me like I was a child and was practically forcing me to fill out this application when finally I told her Iw anted to speak with a few people to make sure this was right for me and she said she would have the original girl call me to finish. It has now been 4 days and I have received nothing. Bottom line, DO NOT got o this school. They are rude. They tell you online classes are only going to be $410 per class but in reality they are $1300 per class and will tell you that you need to budget your money better in order to go to their school. I am completely DISGUSTED by this school. So happy that I decided to stay with SNHU.

I have obtain my BS in Business/ with concentration in Accounting, and currently am enrolled in there Master programs. I currently go to the Oregon Campus in Tigard to a ground campus. I have not enrolled in any online classes but that is just me because I like the feel of an ground campus where you get the involvement from everyone, instructor down to students. The Phoenix Resource Center there is great because you can have team meetings or get on a computer there and do peer-reviewed essay's in the library. Not that you cannot do this online because we all ave access to the library but if your having trouble with it seeming to be like a chatroom maybe you can go to the nearest ground campus.

Earned both my bachelor's and master's degree with post graduate degree certificate in nursing education with UOP. I had a wonderful learning experience. Definitely required dedication and commitment. There were long nights and lots of studying for what I had accomplished. I don't feel by NO stretch of the imagination that my degree's were just given to me. The instructors were excellent and the curriculum was on target and intense. I got what I put into it. I graduated with refined skills, resourceful and knowledgeable as a healthcare nursing professional educational leader. Thank you UOP!

My experience was very expensive, however, I loved the program, very educational, lots of great material. The classes build on from one another and the content is easily applied to real life situations. My only regret, wish would have enrolled much earlier! I am a PHOENIX, and earned a bachelor in business with a concentration in marketing.
I suppose it does not matter much where one goes to school, as long as the hunger for learning is present, success should follow! :)

I attended UOP for 8 days and had to drop out because of a physical injury. They want to charge me for 2 weeks and fees of over $600.00. Threatened to turn me into collection if I don't pay the balance within 5 months time. Now after reading all the negative reviews on UOP. It was a good decision to stop going there. Sounds like it's a waste of money and time. But I'll pay it. In my time frame. If they turn me into collections. I'll dispute it with the credit agencies. If your paying. They legally can't do damage to your credit or possibly can't do anything. But my advise is go elsewhere or go to community college.

I have had zero problems with admissions or finance and I just completed 30 credit hours! UoP started online classes. Their online portal is better than any other school I've ever seen (I attended 3 other schools before UoP). If you are upset because you made a mistake in your paper work, or failed to secure your own finances, or maybe you didn't understand that after starting a class you can't just change your mind (and not have to pay)...maybe you are not ready for college! College is for adults who want to learn. I learned useful information in EVERY class. Before considering another school, check the accreditation! UoP is regionally accredited. That is the same as all major universities that I would ever consider going to. Do your own research don't just listen to somebody else.

Just graduated and this school is awful. Group assignments are a waste of life and rarely do all members participate. Website goes down all the time preventing you from turning in or working on said group assignments. No employers take your degree seriously. I feel sad for people that paid for their degree from this place I went on GI bill. I travel for work and they do not work with your schedule. Dont waste your time bit the bullet and go to a real school.
