The First Clinic is denying me HIV treatment and refusing medical treatment. I tried leaving voicemails for Laura Jarrett and JB Barber, but after several weeks, I have not had a return call. HCA is complicit in this discrimination and does not care about LGBT patients. Shameful

ZERO STARS! One star is the minimum option given to be able to write this review but wanted to get the word out that the Tri Star ER located in Portland TN has to be the WORST ER department I've ever been to in my life. The uncaring and overbearing attitudes from the staff was despicable. You would think anyone working in the healthcare field should at least have a compassionate attitude. I have been working in the healthcare field over the last 28 years and I can honestly say that I haven't lost not one ounce of compassion while treating my patients EVER. The treatment my loved one was given last night one wouldn't expect an animal to be treated the way they did let alone a human being. I know that me or my family will NEVER seek treatment from any facility associated with Tri Star and if this isn't Tri Stars way of treatment then I suggest this location gets investigated or an internal audit to be done regarding their practice of providing treatment because it sure doesn't meet the standard of care of anywhere I've been an employee in my healthcare experience. For those seeking emergency treatment please don't waste your time going to Portland ER location!!

I m here with my Grandmother. Overall experience was good. Dispatching was another story! It took an hour just to get a wheelchair volunteer to her room!

Bigotive healthcare providers work the ER. Callous and uncaring. If you are a person of color, go anywhere else. If you want emergent care from providers who care go anywhere else.
