I called in advance and discussed the details of the vehicle with a sales rep. since I was coming from Memphis, she stated she would schedule me an appointment which she did and call me the morning of to confirm I was coming and hold the keys for me so no one would purchase, I also asked her was the vehicle and the description online accurate she said yes. I never received the call and the vehicle keys were not held for me and when I got there the sticker info posted on their website didn t match the vehicle at the dealership. It looked the same on the exterior but the options and features were not the same, many of the featured posted on the website were missing from the vehicle.

Also on the call she stated that I would have to finance the entire amount of the purchase in order to get it for the listed price and they would not honor any other offers I had received from my GM credit card, however when I started talking finances at the dealership they said I could pay down and they would honor my GM credit card discounts. But when the financing offer came back they had raised the price of the vehicle to offset the discounts I received from my GM credit card. The quoted price at financing was actually higher than the sticker price.

The sales rep at the dealership was nice and courteous and very helpful, but I was not pleased with being lied to in order to get me to drive 4 hrs for false advertising. I would not recommend this dealership to anyone. Stay away especially if you are traveling from out of town to visit it.

This seemed as a run of the mill dealership. I buy vehicles every few years and tried purchasing a truck here. The prices were supposedly discounted to beat all other deals, but after the paperwork was prepared, the proposed goals we agreed with the salesman were not even close, and the final numbers didn't even reflect any type of discount. Although the paperwork was ready for final signatures, I refused and chose to leave and look for a better deal. The dealership never once called to offer a better deal, or even to see if I had reconsidered. I ended up purchasing a crew cab truck at Jasper Alabama Chevrolet, got a better deal, lower interest rate, and even a higher trade in, and they've contacted me a couple times just to see how I'm liking my new truck. I really was disappointed in how I was handled at Tuscaloosa Chevrolet and don't really recommended them because of my experience.

I purchased a lemon for 70k. With a broken windshield and a ashy hood and roof. Also the vehicle is tapping. I was told that it suppose to sound like that. I got ripped off. Before I signed, I was told that these issues would be fixed. That was a lie. I purchased the vehicle only to have to wait 2 weeks to recieve it. Still undone. SMH.

I went to get my car service on July 9 to see what was wrong with my tire. George need more training because he did not say anything about my car until I asked him what is taking so long. I waited on my car until closing time 7pm. I was so mad and two day later problem was not fixed. They took the wrong tire off it was the front not the back tire. I want to thank Mary she was patient and excellent for taking care the problem Because George didn t know anything. I hate staying a long time waiting on my car to get service. Thanks to Mary again for getting my car taken care of. She was very patient and knew what to do.

Took my car three times to have the tire fixed from what I was told a nail. After the third time I tried to have it fixed and the tire losing air in a day I was told they would replace the tire. I asked if the tire was in stock so I would not waste yet another trip to the dealership, he said he would check on it and call me back. I have tried to call and left message after message for service to let me know what s going on and I can t get as much as a phone call back. Once while on the phone with the person whom answers the phone first I was told there are people waiting outside and he is busy and may call me back if he Has time. I found this to be rude and dismissive. I am a coustomer also, just because I m not face to face doesn t mean I am not or have not done business with your company.

I feel if I were to be looking at buying a car I would have received 5-15 phone calls a day. I just want to know if the tire has been ordered and when it can be replaced.

After talking with the manager of service found out my tires were ordered and in stock. Chevrolet stood behind their word and replaced my tires. This whole thing could have been avoided with just a little communication.

Twice I have been to this dealer for service and maintenance on my vehicle and each time has been terrible. The first time the receptionist had a bad attitude while I was trying to check out and ask a question about my warranty. The second most recent time, the service was just as bad. It took them 2 hours just to put air in my tires and check a filter then they didn't even notify me when they were done so I sat there waiting even longer. I will not be going there again. They are slow and give terrible customer service.

I am on the tires for life and came in for my regular maintenance. I was under the assumption that you kept up with when time for the tires to be rotated or time for the balancing. I recently came in for my regular maintenance. This was the first maintenance since I had new tires put on. I went over my invoice and found that all I needed was the rotation. These were new tires, not sure why that had to be rotated after only the 1st trip in since they installed new ones. I'm disappointed I had to pay for a tire rotation and the fact that this is not part of my record as to what needs to be done on each visit.

EDIT: Upon checking my records I did discover an error on my part, however, this did not give customer relations manager Lloyd Wright the right to call and speak to me in a manner unbecoming of anyone fit for a customer relations position. Mr. Wright called several times and emailed me, all of which were done with a hostile tone. Had I made an error in checking my records? Yes. Does that give a customer relational manager the right to communicate in such an unprofessional manner? NO.

Came in today just to look at a used and new Subur...

Came in today just to look at a used and new Suburban, doing my research before buying a vehicle. A salesman (Not going to mention his name) came and greeted me on arrival. I explained to him I only had 30 minutes before I had to go to work that i'm just here to look at a suburban between new and used and it's incentives and warranty. I have never been so rushed during my experiences in buying a vehicle. As soon as I gave him my information, he wanted to do a appraisal right away. Ended up taking 20 minutes of my time, when he knew I was in a rush. If you're in the business of looking for a vehicle, Please just stick to online and when you're ready, come to the dealership. Highly upset that I only had 5 minutes to look at the vehicle I was interested in.

Poor customer service and long wait time. Had to wait 2.5 hours for a scheduled oil change and tire rotation. Service advisor didn t bother checking in with me and letting me know it would take longer than expected. I had to seek them out and find out for myself. They didn t bother to give me a time estimate even when asked. They said, it s on the rack so it shouldn t take to long and walked off. Another thirty minutes go by and I walked outside to see my vehicle was parked in the lot and ready to go. Once again I had to seek them out so I could let them know my vehicle was ready just so I could get my ticket to pay and leave.

After a long wait time and zero customer service the service advisor was kind enough to let me know that my Tires for Life expired because I went over the 5,000 mile scheduled service requirement.

If I have to wait 2.5 hours for a scheduled oil change every 5,000 and pay $80 minimum per visit you can keep your tires. My time is more valuable.

So very unprofessional. I have a theory that if your going to spend $40,000 + somewhere, they should at least pretend your business is important. The best thing I can say about Tuscaloosa Chevrolet, is it is conveniently located right off 20/59 so.... just keep driving and there are plenty of Chevy dealerships right up the road that want your business. Hope this helps!

Cheap customer service.

Cheap customer service.
No amenities. Not even a decent coffee.
They made us wait for over 30 minutes for nothing.
Staff are lazy and hard to deal with.
Don't bother going here unless you are planning on wasting your time.

I don t ever write reviews but I had to on this one. I worked with Joshua Stevenson on the sales side and Rob Jonio on the finance side. They were awesome. I came in, knew the car and price I wanted as well as the finance rate. We agreed to the price, filled out application then I went back to work. I came in after work and they had everything ready, I was in an out in 45 minutes. That is customer service and that is rare in the car sales industry. Give these folks an opportunity to earn your business, they did awesome.

Very expensive to fix small problem for ur GM car! I got a 08 Cobalt and had a front speaker broke. I took there and they charged me 99USD for only check WHAT is going wrong!! Fine! I got fixed with a really cheap speaker that could caused sound unbalance, and 199 total cost!! Wow, how can a 4s shop been that suck! Will never go and tell friends go! NEVER!! btw: slow working time!

I bought my first truck yesterday from Tuscaloosa Chevrolet. I drove over two hours to look at a truck that the dealership had posted on car guru. My salesman was John V. He watched as I gave the truck a thorough look over including the underside. He even let me take it for GOOD test drive, to make sure I knew what I was getting. There was no pressure in the sale of this truck. John V. took his time and worked with me on getting this truck. The whole staff was courteous and friendly, also sharon and kim in customer care were so helpful...that is what makes the difference in my book! I'm not really a Chevy man but if Tuscaloosa Chevrolet has another vehicle I might be interested in, I will make that two hour drive to get great service with a staff who is really customer oriented.

Terrible service department. After making an appointment and arriving on time waited for over an hour and no one had even touched my vehicle for a computer based recall. Service representative then proceeded to lie to me and said the technician working on it had been called away right after I watched him pull it into the service area. I hope that brake recall wasn't important because now I will need to go somewhere else to get it done.

Poor communication while getting my 2016 Corvette ...

Poor communication while getting my 2016 Corvette serviced. I noticed when I got it home my floormat was black from oil/grease and the front left fender has oil all over it from them spilling it. When dropping the car off, I told them the car had hesitation when going in and out of V4 mode. They said nothing was wrong with it, however they never left the parking lot. The issue was not intermittent and did it EVERY DRIVE just like it told my service advisor. GM actually had a tech bulletin out that required a transmission flush. But I had to keep telling them to just drive the car.
So when I reported the oil all over the car, she just didn't really seem to care. She told me to bring it back to her, which is not convenient nor is my trust level way up there with them. It seems like a couple bad apples can ruin everything the dealership works for.

Cody Farley is definitely the guy you need to go to when shopping at this dealership. From start to finish, Cody was helpful, knowledgeable, friendly, and accommodating of all needs/questions. He even arranged to stay well past his hours just to help me with any questions and concerns that I had. I couldn't have asked for a better car sales experience, and I highly recommend Cody and the dealership as a whole.

Have taken my 2017 Chevy Malibu there for over a y...

Have taken my 2017 Chevy Malibu there for over a year. The service is usually very slow to check you in even if all you are doing is dropping your car off for an oil change. I've had two issues with their service department. The first they could not figure out what was causing my AC to suddenly turn off. The second issue was a low tire. When I checked my car in for an oil change I told the tech my rear passenger tire keeps going low and we have to put air in it every two weeks. According to them it was just a sensor issue. About two weeks after this my tire pressure dropped again so I again out air in it. Apparently even something as simple as finding an air leak in a tire is too complicated for their service techs. I will not be trusting my safety or that of my toddler with such inept service ever again.

The service advisor never followed up (Stephanie) Damaged my Brand new wheels on my C7 Corvette and damaged them even more after attempting to fix them and no wash after having it for a month. I texted the service advisor with concerns she never text or attempt to call back. I went in to get my car repair but leave the dealership with more damages to my and the sad thing is that she does not care to help just take my money. Bad business.

I drove a couple hours out of my way to respond to an online ad regarding a vehicle. I get there, the salesman (Ben) was very nice. Test drove the vehicle, it was a nice vehicle. Then we talk price. The salesman explains the price is almost $2,000 more than the listed price online that he has already acknowledged. Essentially, a false price is posted online to draw you in. Apparently, there are conditions to the advertised price that are not in the advertisement. After some back and forth, the final price was not a bad price, but it was still a bit more than the advertised price. I was super frustrated. It was an extremely dishonest process. I left feeling like Tuscaloosa Chevrolet was the poster child for why car dealerships are despised.

If I could rate this place a zero I would. We bought a F250 diesel...it was an 08 model with 85,000k miles. I could right a three page paper on the problems we have had from the dealer filling it up with gas to multiple problems with the vehicle after we got it....we have had the truck at the shop for three weeks and I'm still waiting on a call for the price for them to fix it. I will be taking this truck to my local mechanic. The reviews you read on the page are true. Drive a little further down the road and find a better dealer.
