Perfect organization. In summer gondola and free buses. Very green and relaxing valleys with grazing streams, cows and goats. Easy walks as well as more demanding excursions. Very welcoming shelters. Playgrounds for children. We eat well

Stunning views, well-maintained cable cars, walks of varying difficulty, cable car stops from 12 to 13 only flaw, beware the last descent at 16.45 is a bit early, to fully enjoy the day, otherwise you go down on foot.

Nice ski area. We were with the kids up to the middle station and it is really recommended if you want to practice and have children as it is not too steep. It is also a section for toboggan attached. We actually wanted to go up, but it snowed too much yesterday ...

Comfortable from Meransen to the Gitsch with cable car. Great hiking trails, great views of the valley. (Date Sep. 2018, Aug. 2019 and June 2020) Nice huts for a stop.

Appreciation for runners and perfect organization. Ideal to start skiing but also to have fun for the more experienced. The cable car is connected to the Maranza slopes. Truly a great place to have fun.
The area is ideal for skiing from beginners to professionals. The slopes are of different sizes and difficult. As a result, the mass of visitors is well distributed over all routes. There are also enough catering options. Clear skiing vacation opportunity.
For lovers of skis and sleds, this is the perfect place to spend a winter holiday. Ski routes very diverse, from blue to black. A dozen or so lifts and even more slopes to discover. You can ride all day, all the time on different routes! Italian quality for the whole!
Also worth a visit in the summer. For hiking, of course.

Excellent craft beer, the only flaw if you want to consume outdoors and to be in the middle of a road crossed by motor vehicles. If you are with small children it is a problem.

The Gitschberg is an insider tip and my absolute favorite ski area. However, it is unacceptable that 1 slope (Nesselwiese) is completely closed for the normal ski area because a training slope has been created here and 2 others can only be used to a limited extent. Therefore 3 stars.

Ideal place to learn to ski. Slopes for all levels. Excellent specialized ski school with children.
Possibility to take walks even in winter.
The area seems to me to be very child-friendly, there is even a giant slide on the mountain and there are also swings or seesaws near the huts. We went as hikers and are amazed at the many possibilities.
