We called last week to order tires and made an appointment to have the tires put on. Came in today to have the tires put on someone had sold our tires so no tires today. Also some one scheduled is for a tire rotation and oil change. We didnt need that. So very disappointed in our service today.

I have been trying for over three weeks to get in for a service visit. I'm well over the recommended miles and today I am told they are SO behind they have cut off walkins all together. It should not be this hard to get an oil change and tire rotation. I cannot just come any day or any time. I work and have children to drop off and pick up at certain times. I have tried to schedule an appointment on an off Friday (booked) and tried walking in at noon during a work day (was told it would be after 6pm before I would be done). I purchased my vehicle here and am on tires for life which will now likely be void because I will have to take my vehicle elsewhere. Very dissatisfied.

I was interested in buying a used F-250 from them and made a reasonable offer on the truck. It took them 2 days to respond saying that they couldn't drop the price. I understood and told them that I was still interested in buying it and that I would go online and fill out an application. After getting pre-approved for $35k, I called back and talked to Bobby who informed me (very rudely) that they do not provide out of state financing. Why not tell me this BEFORE I filled out the application (I told them up front each time that I lived in Florida). Of the 3 employees that I spoke with, none of them seemed to want to make a deal. Oh and I was willing to drive 300+ miles to make a deal happen. I guess that's one of the reasons that I have always owned a ford. I've always felt like a valued customer at ford dealership.
Dealer failed to check to see if the fuel gauge was working properly after replacing a fuel pump and it was not. They also drained approximately 1/2 tank of gas during the repairs, but didn't put back in the tank once complete. This is my 2nd poor service issue at this dealership and will likely not return in the future.
Long story short waited almost 5hrs for an oil change with an appointment. Yes that's right all they did was change the oil as I waited in the waiting room from 1:50pm to 6:30pm. Was offered shuttle service which I agreed too but shuttle driver never came to get me. Told service lady on the phone and service attendant the main issue was I needed 1-2 new tires as 1 leaks all air out overnight but other back tires were worn down. They didn't even try to fix that. At the end said they couldn't find a leak so they just did nothing?! Then told me where I could go the next day to get tires as they were closing by that time. I will never be back ever. Please do not go to this place. I love Chevy but I'd rather put on mask and go to the ford dealership then deal with this place again.

First time there for oil change tire rotation. Everyone was very nice, but took waaaay longer than quoted.
The issue with my vehicle was diagnosed and fixed quickly, and I was able to get a good understanding of what exactly had been damaged and how to avoid further damage in the future. The repair is also under warranty which I appreciate. Will definitely be back in the future for further maintenance.

Great customer service attitude from most employees. Generally quick service. Only a few complaints. First, the charge to inspect a specific item is steep. I understand it is refundable if the repair is covered under warranty, I believe, but it is still a little much, especially if the repair isn't covered and the fee isn't refunded. Second, I was told I needed a new serpentine belt to remedy a squealing/squeaking sound, but this was incorrect. The charge to replace was so expensive I decided to replace it myself for about $20 and 20 min. My belt had nothing wrong with it and the new belt did nothing to help the sound. So now I'm waiting to save up to be able to pay the inspection fee. I also replaced my own breaks for about $40 and 30 min as opposed to the $150+ they quoted me. That being said, I enjoy the friendly attitude of the service reps, and the Tires for Life Program is the main thing that keeps me coming here for scheduled maintenance.
The sales part of dealership is horrible. I have been waiting for a gap refund check going on 3 months now. Keep getting the run around it should be here Then it s not. I probably will never buy a car/truck here again.... I cancelled a policy with tuscaloosa Toyota and got it in 2 days... I do use the Chevy service department for my ZL1 (that I didn t purchase here) and can say they have been decent so far. I normally don t do reviews but this has gone on too long.
Had my Suburban there for Service and fixing an oil leak. Actually the car is still leaking. Paid more than 600 bucks for changing gaskets. When I brought it back there they looked closer and decided, that it now is the rear main sealing leaking... want more than 800 bucks for that. Took the car to another transmission service in Tuscaloosa. Spending 300 bucks less there! Tuscalooa Chevrolet "Roll, Chevy Roll!?!??" - No! I say: Tuscaloosa Chevrolet... Roll Dollar Roll !!! that's there motto... make a quick buck and about the customer they don't care a f***! Would give zero stars if possible.

Took my car in Friday (2/15) for an oil change, that is a whole different story. Thursday (2/21) my belt shredded driving down the interstate and I had to get it towed in after hours. The service advisor calls Friday and says I need a belt and tensioner pulley, $560. And my battery is bad, told him I would handle that on my own. Pick my car up, it actually costs $625. Get in the car and it immediately tells me to check engine oil soon . Go back to the service advisor and he tells me the tech also fixed an oil leak. When I asked what & where, he couldn t tell me. I had just spent $700 in November to fix an oil leak so I want to know! He never could tell me, acts like a complete jack wagon, and basically says I need to buy a new car because with the mileage on mine these problems are going to happen more often . Long story short, I left before I yelled at this guy. Went two days later to have my battery tested as there was no specs on the paperwork I was given, battery is perfectly fine.

Stop scheduling appointments if you can't get the vehicles finished within a decent time. If an appointment is schedule at 11 why does it take 6 hours to replace tires, align and balace tires, and change oil?

Was transferred twice, hung up on, and when I called back the second lady I was transferred to again had a terrible attitude. Getting disconnected is a mistake being rude is poor business. Within two hours Mr. Wright got in contact with me and helped me with my issues. I changed my star review because of the professionalism Mr. Wright treated me with and I will definitely continue to do business with this dealership when it comes time to purchase a new vehicle.

The worst when it comes to customer service. The tire for life program is a joke. I had two tires to mess up due to my alignment not done properly and they refuse to switch out my tires. Trying to blame it on me so they would not be held liable for it. The lady tried to out to talk me when I was explaining things to her about the situation. I have always purchased Chevrolet vehicles but never again from Tuscaloosa Chevrolet.

This dealership has terrible service. I am forced to go due to my warranty only valid if I go to a Chevy dealership and every single time I go I leave angry. The receptionist are rude. This last time I went, I waited an hour past the time my car was ready because nobody could be bothered to let me know my car was ready meanwhile I was waiting in their lobby. I waited 2 hours for an oil change. Do not go to this dealership! You will leave with a headache and terrible customer service.
At first when I arrived, a service advisor would not wait on me. I had to go into the building to speak to a cashier who pointed me in the direction of a service advisor who finally assisted me. However, when I came back to pick up my car, Jennifer explained the miscommunication.
My service representative was Jennifer. I was informed that I would be charged $115.00 for my diagnostic to determine what was wrong with the 2008 Avalanche with a 127,000 miles on it. She called and they determined that I needed a new Engine and that it would cost approximately $7,500. After much frustration, disgust and discussion I asked are we 100% sure, and she said let me check and get back with you. When she called back she said that they could do a "Compression Test" and did I want to do that. I said if it might keep me from getting a new engine "of course" (therefore I must assume as a consumer the original diagnostic was not complete if there still was some potential alternative). NEVER WAS AN ADDITIONAL COST MENTIONED OR DISCUSSED. Therefore this, in my estimation, was to verify or confirm the diagnosis that a new Engine was imperative.
The Compression Test (per Tuscaloosa Chevrolet) verified I needed a new engine (which now knowing how you operate is suspect at best). When I came to pickup the truck I was charged an additional $115 and told with delight by Jennifer that she knocked off 1/2 hour of the compression test since it took 1.5 hours.
No one truly listened to my concern regarding this issue, and I called Jennifer back after paying the $298 and she said she would check if there was anything she could do (of course no call back and I had to make another trip to Tuscaloosa Chevrolet). Finally, there were two other lights that were on that were never addressed by the diagnostics("Service Stabilitrack" and "Traction Control Off"). I was told by Jennifer they would go off when I got a new engine (which I have since been informed by another Chevrolet Technician that is absolutely not true).
IF YOU BUY FROM TUSCALOOSA CHEVROLET be prepared to travel to Birmingham for service!!!!!!!!!!!

I thought my tires was low so I stopped to have them checked. Very very nice young lady "sorry I didn't get her name " but she came out checked them and assured me everything was good and to have my dealer to reset my tire pressure sensor.
