A great place to have a bank account. Credit unions are not owned by corporate shareholders so more money goes back to the members. TTCU has ATMs all over town. And it's easy to check your account online.

Very unhappy with TTCU. I lost my job, student housing, and had to move to Austin for a new job, and found it was extremely frustrating trying to close my account, getting different information from multiple people, being sent the wrong forms to fill out, holding the first check I mobile deposit for and additional two weeks, etc. I just feel like so many other businesses have updates their policies and procedures during COVID-19 to make things easier for their customers. I opened an account with Chase Bank, that was all available online. I could find the forms I needed myself, and they offered me a student account with benefits and a $100 welcome bonus.
I don t recommend this bank for students. There wasn t any benefits like I ve realized other banks have.

I have been with the credit union for 20 years. I moved out of state three years ago and last year decided to close my account as I was no longer in Tulsa. I was told I had to come in to a branch to close the account. Hardly convenient. Today they closed my account-fine. But there is a small negative balance I told them i would be taking care of. The thanks I get for all those years is a report to the credit bureau. These are tough times for all. I just want to say thank you for NOT helping a member through this. I will pay the balance off no problem. You are not the type of establishment I chose to deal with anyway. It would have been so easy to work with me and allow me to pay this off and close my account like I asked you to.

After my card was stolen and my account drained by whoever took it- I was panicked! This is the first time (and hopefully the last) that someone had used my card fraudulently. After calling customer service at 7 AM to cancel the card, I had to go into the bank to dispute the charges. I was quite nervous about the whole thing but then I met my member service representative Audrey. Audrey was so amazing and helped ease all my anxieties! She helped me with the paperwork and my money was back in my account the next day! I'm actually kind of glad that this whole ordeal happened because I probably would've never truly appreciated just how great TTCU is and how genuinely caring the people who work there are!

Just did a Motorcycle loan with TTCU, had best local rates and better than other online lenders, did the whole process online they were professional, fast and dealt with all my questions in stride. Highly recommend!

All my car loans were thru TTCU, low rate and great customer service. They tailored to do business with the local and the loan agents are very knowledgeable with the products and they are not pushy. Walk in get what you needed and walk out, every time.

I have been a member of this credit union since 19...

I have been a member of this credit union since 1973 and was very disappointed when I tried to call. My call was answered and the operator was not helpful with my problem. She was more than likely following guide lines but our conversation left a bad taste in my mouth. The first contact with a person that works for a banking facility should not leave the impression I can't, won't or I am not interested in helping you. I would ask a question and the answer would be a couple of words and then she would stop talking. I am disabled and unable to drive. I am very disappointed that no longer am I welcomed with someone that seems happy that I called and wanted to help.

I couldn't leave a worse review if I wanted. Filled out a loan application online to purchase land on 9/1, after attempting to reach them by phone 8/31. Pre-approval happened quickly, was assigned a mortgage officer, then it got ugly. I have received ZERO returned calls for voicemails I left. It sometimes takes 48+ hours to receive email responses. After being asked to request an extension on our real estate contract for purchase, we are now 63 days into a vacant lot purchase, and after my repeated attempts to reach someone, I am being told that "the appraiser cannot find anything at all to comp your lot, and is unable to appraise the lot". I have requested documentation in writing stating they are holding up my ability to close on this lot, and I would be willing to guarantee I never see it. They not only don't communicate with their clients, but they also don't communicate with their own businesses (Integrity Title) as they didn't even let the title company know they weren't closing on the original close date. You can do much better for yourself, and save yourself the hassle. I highly recommend you take your business elsewhere. This bank is a joke!

I came back to banking after 10 years and immediately got charged for transactions that were delayed and charged multiple fees. I won t use this bank or any other institution going forward and might I add the customer service rep laughed and was extremely condescending not really appreciated thanks for nothing

I couldn't rate this company any lower right now.
My disabled elderly father had a loan for a car since 2013, had never missed a payment, never late on a payment. That car was totaled a few weeks back by someone playing on their cellphone. The insurance paid off the rest of the loan & he tries to get another loan for a replacement car only to be denied because of a policy change on "lower income" loans because of issues with "lower income" people not paying. He did not fall into this group because of his payment history, just his status as being lower income (disability/social security) .

After calling to get answers on how they can deny his loan after he had more than proved capable of making payments I then got the run around instead of answers... only to be told it was a board decision & this was after being transferred 3 times until I got a non helpful manager who sounded like he could care less. This company doesn't care about people or the customers they haven't had any prior issues with.

Go to another bank so you don't get screwed over by a broad stroke policy change like my father just was.

Great company but geez, definitely need to work on getting faster with the inside tellers. The past 4 times I've had to go in there's been 1 or 2 tellers and seriously takes me 15 mins or more just to get to the desk.

Worst bank I have ever dealt with. Worst customer service. They won t own up to their mistakes, they just blame it on you. They will give you the best interest rate but it s not worth the hassle. I would pay twice the interest rate not to deal with these guys again.

GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! I would like to thank the teller Anthony for being so nice and prompt with my request. I needed a lot of change and he was more than happy to help me which is a huge relief. Especially having tried to go elsewhere for the change and was issued no help because I wasn't a member.

If you live in OKC and you're buying a car, don't get it financed thru TTCU. Nothing but a headache dealing with this company. On more than one occasion they have taken our automatic payment out days before it was scheduled. Days before we got paid. And no reasonable explanation why it happened. And finally, after 59 car payments of $558 dollars, our remaining balance is $27 bucks! So, TTCU went ahead and took out another $558 to satisfy that $27! Now I have to go to a Credit Union service center to get my money back. STUPID!!

Received my mortgage through TTCU and WOW. I had a great experience! My husband and I had never bought a house before and for our first mortgage experience, it was fairly low-stress. TTCU explained all of the steps to us, walking us through pre-approval, underwriting, contract and close. It was a great experience. The title company is owned by them so all of the deed paperwork and title documentation is done "in-house". Yes I would recommend TTCU for any first-time home buyer!

This used to be a good small town bank. Now they have gotten too big and all they do is blame the customer for their mistakes. There are better local banks / credit unions in Tulsa and OKC. Every time I try to get anything accomplished, it is such a hassle with all types of issues. I can't ever seem to fill out the right paperwork. Changing addresses online just requires someone to send you a paper to fill out and return. This bank has gotten so complicated, its like they try to keep you hostage or something. Find a different CU in town with the same interest rates.

Just read the reviews. Glad the response is always, "we will let the manager know" but it appears after a couple of years of this statement, you still can't get the attitude or problems fixed. Ya'll have a problem.

No since in talking to a manager. It is just a waste of breath.

TTCU does the mortgages for many of my real estate...

TTCU does the mortgages for many of my real estate clients. They have good loan options as well as low fees so I feel good about recommending them. Their loan staff has always been conservative and accurate. I appreciate that!
Also, the TTCU web site is easy to use and I find that one of the most helpful benefits to their services.
