I went to the river regatta kick off party at Tropicana amd it was poppin
No kid channels , no coffee pot in room, Games in the arcade don't work.
Wonderful place to stay comfortable and clean. Front end check in staff are great and player rewards are excellent.
Nice rooms, Passagio Italian food is delicious! Too bad the buffet was closed...usually really good food too. So quiet this time of year. Walked to Bubba Gumps across the street...excellent shrimp!! Laughlin is a mini Vegas for older folks. Fun! Zero line at the showing of the latest Star Wars movie. Saw it at the Riverside. Ha!
Leave the Vegas madness behind and hit Laughlin. While your there, hang your hat at the Tropicana for a relaxed visit.
Only there for a short time but enjoyed the visit. Well lit, plenty of slots, great staff and great idea having plastic glasses by the exits to transfer drink when leaving the casino.
Friendly associates, clean modern rooms, and best for slots. We had a wonderful time. Thank you to ask the Heros that work there.
Had fun. Participated in blackjack tournament. Nice room.
We had a great room. Staff was great and rooms were grwat
Fun place to get away for a while and enjoy a change of pace. Entertaining and good eats.
Wonderful Hotel to stay in. Also parking for Motorhomes and boat trailers. Nicely decorated. Good food and a variety of Food styles!!
Not impressed but it was the cleanest casino In Laughlin. If you are going to Laughing, go for the lake not the casinos. If you want a good casino go anywhere in Vegas.
This hotel is horrible. I went there with my family as a surprise visit for a birthday trip. I booked 2 separate rooms for 2 nights each. First off, check in staff was super nice and as accommodating as she could be. However, she was unable to provide us with "connected" rooms as requested. My parents were on the same floor as me and my family, but they were a couple doors down. Our room had the room to room doorway, but I guess someone was already booked for that room. However, I never heard or seen anyone going in or out of that room. The room was nice with 2 queen beds, a round table with 2 chairs, a good sized bathroom, and a dresser. The TV was DEFINITELY something to be desired. I believe it was a 27" Samsung. For the size of the room, the TV should have been at the very least a 32"-40" TV. This was very disappointing! I stay in quite a few hotels, for work purposes, and have never seen such a small TV for a name brand Hotel. Another issue I had, was the lack of free WiFi. You have to pay $7.99 per device (yes, only 1 device can connect to WiFi per purchase). They do this via MAC Address filtering. You do have the option to "reuse" the purchase for another device. But how annoying is that!? I was constantly juggling WiFi connections between devices so my wife and son could have access. (side note... T-Mobile LTE reception is horrible at this hotel. Which is very odd since there are cell repeaters on the roof.) Once WiFi is paid for, you get pretty decent speeds (16Down/10Up). However, connecting a Amazon Fire Stick still produced significant lag and constant "loading" times when streaming Hulu and Netflix. This was unbelievable! Another issue when we arrived, was the lack of refrigerator in the room. What Hotel now-a-days does NOT have a fridge? Especially a "resort"? So we did what any other vacationer would do, we called down to the front desk and waited on hold for several minutes just to request a fridge which the front desk said they will need to contact house keeping to have one sent up. This was done at 3pm. We left the room for a couple hours and upon returning there was no fridge in the room still. I called house keeping and was told, quite rudely, that "we ain't got any fridges" and "they're all booked up for the weekend". We needed the fridge for my wife's insulin and we had no real way of keeping it cool. We eventually just filled an ice bucket and chilled it that way, but how inconvenient is that? The phones didn't work, and we were unable to call to my parents room using the 4-digit room number. It would not ring, you would just hear dead air and then a phone disconnect sound. We tried several times and even tried from my parents room with the same result. Hold times when trying to contact the front desk were unbelievable. Everytime I called I was put on hold for an average of 15 minutes! When I did finally get thru, it was to house keeping to request extra pillows and towels. Again, rudely I was told "well, you're only gonna get 2 of each". Then was asked, "what do you need them for?" Um, what business is it of theirs what I need extra pillows and towels for. I mean it's quite obvious, it's pillows and towels. But why do I have to explain it to them? One last thing was the doors. The room doors are heavy and probably for a good reason (fire doors). But the closing mechanism should be able to handle the weight, which they don't. Past a certain point of closing the doors just SLAM shut! During the day it's not that big of a problem. However, at night when you're trying to get some sleep or in my case after you've just gotten down your hyper 8 year old for the night and your neighbor decides it's time to gamble or crash for the night. The heavy slamming doors pose a huge issue. Doors slamming all night means kids up all night! NOT GOOD!!! Unfortunately, I have to say I will most likely NOT stay at this Hotel again. There was just way too many "are you kidding me" moments that should NOT have occurred (in my opinion).
Nice place good food good prices live entertainment
Not really crowded. Waitress was very attentive. My card was giving me trouble. The gentleman who replaced it for me was fast and courteous
We enjoyed staying at the Tropicana Hotel in Laughlin. We needed to be closer to the elevator and they changed our room immediately. Our room was comfortable, the pool and hot tub were great. Not all the resturants were open which was our only negative. The staff were friendly and the valet staff worked hard and were great.
Love this place. Lowrider event September 28th. 2018
The Tropicana Laughlin Hotel was in a great location for going around to the local sites, while having a relatively clean room with a decent view of the city and river. As for the service I have no complaints, would stay again.
I am very disappointed in this casino... me and family have been going there for years.. but this time our stay was lovely the cleaning lady did a wonderful job.. however me and family was gambling at the bar the cacausian lady was avoiding us and not giving us drinks while playing.. I felt like she was racist she was paying attention and giving the cacausian people drinks..and than Finally this guy working at the bar came in his shift he did a great job and treated us fairly..he went in order...
We went to check out the international craft showcase.
Very nice! Great place to hang out with friends. Food is excellent, great theaters and lots to do there
We both lost our bananas. Machines don't pay out very well at all. Might be because it was in the middle of the week. We'll try it again some other time.
It was fine once I found my game. The bingo was b kind of lame. Low payouts.
The dealers were not very friendly... but over all the casino was okay.
Not too bad could use some upgrading but which hotel doesn't in the Laughlin area but quite a pleasant casino to gamble in
18 hungry people walked in to Carnegie's Restaurant and they seated & fed us with no problem. Later some of us went next door to Tango's Lounge to enjoy The Kid & Nic Show.
Found out that they have been bringing in, many new slots, they have done major remodeling
Great food, the veterans buffet is a nice offering every month. The gaming areas are well lit. I was walking by the bar with the hiccups and a bartender handed me a water right out of the blue. He said " it might help". That's impressive.
Room service was OK People were friendly and the machines were great
As always great times, excellent staff! It was a pleasure!
Nice, pricey, but I had no, iron, microwave or fridge for that price.
This is a nice place for senior fun and calm relaxation it's like Vegas without the nightlife
I am staying at Edgewater. I wish I had got a room at the Tropicana. Nice and clean.
Great place to gamble. The rooms were clean. I will be back. We do miss the train. Sorry to see it gone.
I come here often and always have a great time. From the craps tables, to the slot machines, and the live bands, you will have fun.
The room was clean all staff are very friendly. Love this place.
We waited a long time for our food and this is what we got burned pizza and then they replaced it but we still had to pay I think he should had not charged us for it.
Stayed here for the night after a long day at the nearby lake/river. View wasn't bad, rooms were real cold how I like em.
Very fun great entertainment and gambling, we go 3 days at a time
The rooms are okay for the price. They were a little dusty. They ac/heating unit can be a little noisy also. But overall, it was a pretty stay. Just a FYI - The Cell service sucks (Verizon) and they do not have free WiFi.
Stayed in my room the majority of my stay. I loved the floor I was on, the 24th, but the room itself was very outdated and unkept. I believe it's time for a make over, Tropicana-Laughlin. You need to keep up the the "Jones'".
I did put the do not disturb sign out, which you honored. I requested more towels, i got double, awesome. I requested a late check out, got it. Thank you for your customer service. Not bad.
Great place to have fun and if your not careful its also a great place to lose your money.
Fun to spend a few hours. We were never thirsty there, drink waitresses were on top of it.
The hotel customer service was great. And the room was kept up nicely. Thanks for all your hard work in keeping the place a friendly place to visit.
