Nice rooms, Passagio Italian food is delicious! Too bad the buffet was closed...usually really good food too. So quiet this time of year. Walked to Bubba Gumps across the street...excellent shrimp!! Laughlin is a mini Vegas for older folks. Fun! Zero line at the showing of the latest Star Wars movie. Saw it at the Riverside. Ha!

This hotel is horrible. I went there with my family as a surprise visit for a birthday trip. I booked 2 separate rooms for 2 nights each. First off, check in staff was super nice and as accommodating as she could be. However, she was unable to provide us with "connected" rooms as requested. My parents were on the same floor as me and my family, but they were a couple doors down. Our room had the room to room doorway, but I guess someone was already booked for that room. However, I never heard or seen anyone going in or out of that room. The room was nice with 2 queen beds, a round table with 2 chairs, a good sized bathroom, and a dresser. The TV was DEFINITELY something to be desired. I believe it was a 27" Samsung. For the size of the room, the TV should have been at the very least a 32"-40" TV. This was very disappointing! I stay in quite a few hotels, for work purposes, and have never seen such a small TV for a name brand Hotel. Another issue I had, was the lack of free WiFi. You have to pay $7.99 per device (yes, only 1 device can connect to WiFi per purchase). They do this via MAC Address filtering. You do have the option to "reuse" the purchase for another device. But how annoying is that!? I was constantly juggling WiFi connections between devices so my wife and son could have access. (side note... T-Mobile LTE reception is horrible at this hotel. Which is very odd since there are cell repeaters on the roof.) Once WiFi is paid for, you get pretty decent speeds (16Down/10Up). However, connecting a Amazon Fire Stick still produced significant lag and constant "loading" times when streaming Hulu and Netflix. This was unbelievable! Another issue when we arrived, was the lack of refrigerator in the room. What Hotel now-a-days does NOT have a fridge? Especially a "resort"? So we did what any other vacationer would do, we called down to the front desk and waited on hold for several minutes just to request a fridge which the front desk said they will need to contact house keeping to have one sent up. This was done at 3pm. We left the room for a couple hours and upon returning there was no fridge in the room still. I called house keeping and was told, quite rudely, that "we ain't got any fridges" and "they're all booked up for the weekend". We needed the fridge for my wife's insulin and we had no real way of keeping it cool. We eventually just filled an ice bucket and chilled it that way, but how inconvenient is that? The phones didn't work, and we were unable to call to my parents room using the 4-digit room number. It would not ring, you would just hear dead air and then a phone disconnect sound. We tried several times and even tried from my parents room with the same result. Hold times when trying to contact the front desk were unbelievable. Everytime I called I was put on hold for an average of 15 minutes! When I did finally get thru, it was to house keeping to request extra pillows and towels. Again, rudely I was told "well, you're only gonna get 2 of each". Then was asked, "what do you need them for?" Um, what business is it of theirs what I need extra pillows and towels for. I mean it's quite obvious, it's pillows and towels. But why do I have to explain it to them? One last thing was the doors. The room doors are heavy and probably for a good reason (fire doors). But the closing mechanism should be able to handle the weight, which they don't. Past a certain point of closing the doors just SLAM shut! During the day it's not that big of a problem. However, at night when you're trying to get some sleep or in my case after you've just gotten down your hyper 8 year old for the night and your neighbor decides it's time to gamble or crash for the night. The heavy slamming doors pose a huge issue. Doors slamming all night means kids up all night! NOT GOOD!!! Unfortunately, I have to say I will most likely NOT stay at this Hotel again. There was just way too many "are you kidding me" moments that should NOT have occurred (in my opinion).

We enjoyed staying at the Tropicana Hotel in Laughlin. We needed to be closer to the elevator and they changed our room immediately. Our room was comfortable, the pool and hot tub were great. Not all the resturants were open which was our only negative. The staff were friendly and the valet staff worked hard and were great.

The Tropicana Laughlin Hotel was in a great location for going around to the local sites, while having a relatively clean room with a decent view of the city and river. As for the service I have no complaints, would stay again.

Great food, the veterans buffet is a nice offering every month. The gaming areas are well lit. I was walking by the bar with the hiccups and a bartender handed me a water right out of the blue. He said " it might help". That's impressive.

The rooms are okay for the price. They were a little dusty. They ac/heating unit can be a little noisy also. But overall, it was a pretty stay. Just a FYI - The Cell service sucks (Verizon) and they do not have free WiFi.

Stayed in my room the majority of my stay. I loved the floor I was on, the 24th, but the room itself was very outdated and unkept. I believe it's time for a make over, Tropicana-Laughlin. You need to keep up the the "Jones'".

I did put the do not disturb sign out, which you honored. I requested more towels, i got double, awesome. I requested a late check out, got it. Thank you for your customer service. Not bad.
