We have been loyal to a fault by continuing to stay at here. When it was the Ramada it was clean and great customer service, now you wait in a long line to check in with never more than 2 staff members usually only 1 and she thinks she is doing you a favor. Unless your up at 4 am the pool is filled with people that are not registered and unattended children who parents are at the bar or gambling. AIRBNB is my new and better option.

The room was clean and comfortable. The pool area is nice but the large pool is quite cold. The constant smell of cigarette smoke ruined it for me. It's everywhere except the room. In the hallway, casino, pool, parking garage... I refuse to expose my family and I to something that is harmful. I will not stay here again.

Because I win of course! And the rooms are clean towels are awesome water pressure is fabulous they accept cash deposit and are kind of flexible if possible. They are accommodating and accept for one or two early day girls the cocktail ladies are on it! Hats off to you later nite ladies!! You know who you are!

This hotel is pretty good , because the accommodations really surpass my expectations which I really love about this hotel is that there are so many places nearby like Chili s and camp Davis

The customer service here is just getting worse and worse, last year I had a HORRIBLE experience with a reservation agent named ROSE. Well, here I am a year later, having stayed here since that time last year, where she was rude and hung up on me to avoid fixing the issue. Today I attempted to make a reservation again, she demanded a players card that I didn't have then refused to help me, put me on hold for several minutes then said "My supervisor says we can't help you bye" and hung up on me. My husband and I stay here about 4-5 times per year, we eat at all the restaurants, and try to enjoy but it seems like ROSE is always rude, this is actually my THIRD time talking to her and she just continues to be rude and hang up on me. I've called and asked for a supervisor and all that is available is a "lead" or the "supervisor line" to leave a message. I have no idea how to file a formal complaint, last year they helped me over the phone, but this year, no one is helping me.

Buffet can be better and at Passagios Italian restaurant the hostess was a bit rude. At 8:20 pm on12/30 we went to have dinner at Passagio's and when we arrived the hostess told us we had 20 min, earlier when we went by we asked what time they closed and she said 10:00p and to go orders had to be put in by 9:30p. There we some guest in the restaurant but not many as usual, Passagio's is our favorite place to eat but on that night we waited so long for our order was told the waiter we were leaving after waiting more then half an hour for our food. The Tropicana hotel and casino are still our favorite place to stay and gamble.

Had the displeasure of eating at Carnegie's on Saturday morning. Horrible service, and the food wasn't far behind. Took an hour to get our food. All but one of four meals was cold. Disappointed. Three cheese omelet is flat tasteless omelet with a slice of Kraft cheese slapped on it.

Room is nice for the price, but has serious lack of outlets and sufficient lighting. Also, only 2 coffee packets supplied, and I'm a big coffee drinker. Had to call housekeeping to order more @ $ 1.00 apiece. All personnel I encountered were very friendly and helpful. Food was a little pricey at most eateries in the casino area. Overall I'd still recommend staying here. Rooms are a big bang for your buck. I didn't come here to sit in the room all day anyway. There's too much to do in this area.

Had a great time only one problem maid service was not great. Cleaning was not good, and left written notes to describe what we needed and to have extra towels, and other things had to keep ordering things over and over again. We stayed 4 nights.

Have been going here for years, and had positive experiences. This time, not so much.

1. From the first day, the toilet had problems. The flushing would take a long time and was difficult to go down. On the second day, the toilet overflowed. When we called, housekeeping was quick and efficient.

2. We received an offer for a free cooking pan if we arrive on Friday. We showed up in the evening and they said the offer ended at 8pm, which is not written on the flyer they sent. The employee told us it s written on the sign in the lobby, but how were we supposed to know from our home in California?

3. There was no fridge in the room. Not a big deal, but still think there should ve been.

Overall, I wouldn t advise against staying here, but please be careful if you do.

We stayed at the Tropicana Laughlin on our way home from a month long trip.

We really miss the Ramada Express.

They are doing some rearranging on the casino floor. Some of the machines we like to play we couldn't find.

Our room and the staff was great!!

What wasn't great is they closed the buffet!! We loved the buffet and the staff. To us there is no logical reason to have closed it. The buffet was one of the reasons we liked to stay there. Also, once a month they offered their Veteran members a free buffet. Now what are they going to do?

I paid for a double-upgraded room (with view) on our recent trip. The room we were given was a standard room (just exactly like our friends standard room). When I talked to the front desk about this...and then the supervisor (Kim), I was told I was promised a "view". However, I was not promised any particular view. My view was the side of the adjacent tower! The standard room was because I asked to not be put next to the elevator. They never told me I was being "downgraded" in order to get away from the elevators. My total credit for all the drama....10% of the first night's stay ($5.70)!!! The fact that our room (casino tower 638) had a big paint spill at the front door...was not addressed...other than Kim said she would have it cleaned up. haha. I bet it is still there.

The room was decent but it was an outdated room. There was no fridge or microwave. The room service was very poor
The coffee cups we used we're not replaced and the bedsheets were done in a hurry. The towels were rough. We not be returning. The elevator to the parking area, only one was working.
