Normal rooms were decent, nothing special, but good for a short stay

The new ownership has changed the feel of the hotel. The rooms are still comfortable, clean but a little old. Need to update the check in and out process. Cannot check out of the room on the TV like you can do in most hotels. Buffet restaurant was removed so I didn t eat there. Went to surrounding hotels with buffets there where I wound up staying for the day whether for gambling, movies or shows. A shame what the new owners have done. Also room amenities very cheap. Water bottles very small and soaps are shampoos not plentiful or of high quality. Feels like a budget hotel except for the fact that beds are comfortable and rooms extremely clean. Also enjoyed the free parking during my stay.

Fun place to go while staying in Laughlin. Pretty hotel rooms and a decent Casino.

I m very up set out of all the casinos I picked this one because it said it had 9 restaurants I found only two are open and the food is very expensive. The rooms are very clean of I wasn t stuck and paid the room I would go to another one .

All the benefits that made the Tropicana a great place to stay and play are being slowly removed my the new company that took over. Definitely not worth it anymore, there are other casinos that want your business and I've been staying and playing here for 24 years.

We played bingo here about 4 times and ate supper here. We didn't win at bingo nor slots, but the gift shop was nice!

The rooms were very cheerful and bright.the beds were comfortable there is a great selection of dining choices here.be sure to try "taqueria del rio" for the best posole in town this is my favorite place to stay in Laughlin

this trip was a huge hassle due to our stay at the Tropicana Laughlin, our first room had bed bugs, they moved us to another room, then we had to check out then back into our next room, only for them to tell us the next day we need to move again due to a plumbing problem, didn't offer to come get our luggage, but told is to drag everything to the front desk to get the new room. it was a huge inconvenience, miserable sleep worrying if the next room was going to have bed bugs, them being told to move again. I felt like someone was messing with us at that point. they did give buffet vouchers... refused refund though. I don't think I'll be back after this stay.

There is no free WiFi but the room was comfortable and was an overall good experience

While a local classic; we ran into dirty rooms, dirty pools, and less than thrilling food joints (dont bother with the donut shop).

Their devices were very good. I'd recommend anyone to come stay there !

We stayed there one night and had to leave. The bathroom smelled of urine and sewage.

Didn't lose my money as fast as at the other casino's.

Been staying since it opened weekends only like the bands and front side walk events nice pool to.

This was one of the worst experiences I have had. My husband and I have 5 kids so it is very rare that we get to go away together alone. We decided to take a weekend trip for my birthday and after reading the reviews for the Tropicana we decided to stay here.

However, from the time we checked in the service was inadequate. The girl at the front desk was was not polite and then she told me my total 60.00 more than quoted online. Instead of just explaining there would be a refundable deposit I has to ask for an explanation of the charges. After checking in and taking our belongings to the room we decided to go down to the casino. Me and my husband were sitting at machines looking for a waitress for nearly 20 minutes. I finally asked for a drink and was told that she was not my waitress. We waited another 45 minutes and then went to the bar. After sitting at the bar for 5 minutes without help I asked a waitress who walked by for a drink. She told me I had to ask the bar tender, finally got his attention. He cut me short and was very rude, we stayed for 2 nights and had the same experience. Finally decided to walk to one of the near by casinos where the service was amazing.

I went there for dinner with family and friends, food was good not great. Had fun in the casino, don't win ha ha

Rooms are good, just the arcade for the kids. Most dont work and take your money just like the casino. The kids only have the pool or go to a different casino. Also signs posted that they are not responsible for refunds for games that take yor money ........which is most of them.

Nice place, decent prices, good food and casino. I'll come back again.

Walked around the hotel on my first trip to Laughlin. They have some cool bars and in n out is located nearby only downfall is I came in late night and in winter season so everything closes early. I will definitely be back in the summer and experience a lot more.

Scammers!!!!! They say get a players card and if you lose 10$ to 100 they'll match you! False it's been a month and neither my husband or I have never recieved an email with a code! Try the pioneer you get exactly what they say! I don't recommend nor suggest this casino!!!!! Total let down !!...update I still have received nothing!! Only a reply on Google where they know you can't reply!

Had a great time. Rooms ate very nice and clean. Service was bery good.

I love the players club at tropicana, i am a loyal local. They have great bingo and it is my favorite place to play keno. They also have great bands that play at their bar. I recommend the Trop to anyone that asks.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Loved the food at the Italian restaurant. And our rooms were clean and quiet.

I always stay at Tropicana for years !!! We where there last weekend with my family only to find BEDBUGS IN OUR BEDS IT WAS A HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!! They need to have housekeeping check thru rooms!! Please please beware So u Dnt bring them home !!! It was nasty and cant trust there beds horrible weekend!!!

From the moment you walk in it smells like a giant ash tray due to the casino floor being right at the door not towards the back like it should be. We get to our room and our carpet which is an awful woods green has multiple stains, the bathroom tub has hard stains set into it, and you can hear everything that is going on in the hallway, pool, next door bathroom!!! The room had no mini fridge or microwave so you are forced to buy their overpriced beverages and food, or walk across the parking lot and buy in-N-out which we did! The sheets to the beds smell like the lobby and the phone call I received from home saying my mother in law is in bad shape requiring us to Check out early ended up in a $56.25 fee!!! As if the one night stay wasn t bad enough. Would not recommend at all .

I love Laughlin Nevada and staying in the Tropicana was great especially when its on them. Thank you Tropicana for the great stay and great drinks and gambling.

We stayed in a jacuzzi suite, $49. plus tax/night is unbelievable rate that we couldn't pass up. Check in was fast, service was excellent, room was decent sized with a king bed, loveseat, coffee table, very comfortable . Jacuzzi was big ans opened up to both the bathroom and the main room. The room was clean and comfortable, bed was big and comfortable. Price was affordable. We stayed an extra night at the same rate. Definitely would stay again and recommend.

Which restaurant has something for everyone. Young and old alike

When we went to sleep I untucked the blanket and got into bed. When I pulled the covers up in notice there was blood and boogers on the blanket. I almost threw up. Also the room didn't really have a lot of plugs for your phone and laptop, they charged you for wifi, and they do not offer room service.

It's not on the river, but they always send me free rooms. I prefer Riverside because they send me free flights and rooms! They do have a feast new player bonus program. They'll reimburse you up to $100 when you open a new players card. They mail you the $100 casino voucher around a month later. Which in my opinion is a really good deal!

Extremely poor housekeeping,cob webs , no clean sheets, and they expect tips for lousy work don't think I will stay there again!!!!!

Terrible! Reservation was made for ground floor, pet room for a week. Turned out to be filthy 3rd floor no pet. The only ground level pet room they had left was almost twice the cost! Only hotel in Laughlin that takes pets, was left no choice. At least it was cleaner. We had made the reservation 2 1/2 months early.

Very disappointed this time. They no longer have the buffet, so the other restaurant was so crowded it took us 45 minutes to get our lunch. Fish and chips and a BLT. Waitress never refilled our water, never checked on us, just huffed as she would walk by us. Also the slots are very tight! I guess they need $$$$.

We stay in this hotel every time we are in Laughlin. The rooms are relatively clean and there are restaurants at the hotel. The Italian place is good and the diner restaurant was OK. The pool at this hotel was nice and not too crowded. There is also a TV with music videos at the pool which makes a good vibe.

Good experience. The 24 hr diner wasnt worth visiting though. Portions were small, not cooked properly and the milkshake was 3/4 full and was a warm froth. Nowhere near a milkshake. .

Worst hotel experience ever, we will not be back. Absolutely no customer service skills shown by anyone but Valet & Bell crews. Not worth the trip or the money.

We recently visited Laughlin Nevada for a Birthday celebration. One of our favorite casino' was definitely the Tropicana. Fun atmosphere and definitely not smoky like some of the other casinos. The slots were treating us well the day we were there, so that was a nice bonus. We enjoyed the diner inside too and they had good appetizers .

Good place to gamble, waitresses are on it unloke other casinos in the area

Have been going here for a few years and the hotel has always made an effort to accomadate my wife and I; when others haven't. I will always be loyal and greatful to them . Thanks Tropicana

However; not because we got SICK , it was because we had an offer from another Hotel . but we ate there .

Stayed here with my mom and granddaughter. Great room, comfy bed, and fun at the pool.

The Waitresses were Timely floors were clean ashtray stayed empty I just wish I had one more. LOL

Second weekend after the Covid reopening. Buffet is closed, reopened as a diner with a limited menu; breakfast, lunch and dinner. Pub is opened for food and food was ok. Casino is still smoke filled even though it's supposed to be limited capacity, elevators are packed and usually a line in the evening. We ate at the much better restaurants at the Nugget. Lots of hand sanitizers available, masks are optional. Temperature checks only at registration. BTW - The Belle is closed and may never reopen I was told.

This hotel staff has been so helpful. I did think the beds could use improvement but overall the hotel is very clean and all.
