Your labor and delivery department is above amazing! I've had all 3 of my children here, and the reason why is because of the amazing nursing staff. They always went above and beyond to support my natural deliveries. They always made sure I was okay afterwards in my recovery process and we're very gentle. They took such great care of my babies and I. I always recommend them to my mother's to be for a great labor experience.

I Love Stone Crest Hospital! Facility is nicely decorated, well maintained, food is great, staff are exceptionally friendly, smart and professional. Mom is 81 now and had 2 stays there recently. Enjoyed spending time there, always feels like a hotel stay, "seriously." Highly recommended.

I had same day surgery. From the moment I walked in the door everyone was very friendly, kind, and compassionate. My nurse in the same day unit was great! The nurse from the OR was very compassionate. Over all if you have to have surgery TruStar Stonecrest is the place to go!

I went in with cramps and my stomach hurting. They put a Needle in my arm for an IV bag but never give me the bag. The Doc. Came in wanting to run test, I told him I was dehydrated because it happened last year and it was the same feeling. He saw money when looking at my insurance. They did a cat scan and took my back to my room. They put a IV bag on the sink and left. 2 hours latter I finally got some one to go get the Doc. And tell him I needed something for pain. He came in and said we gave you an IV bag 2 hours ago. Nope there it is on the sink. Then every body came in the room trying to take care of me. They put the bag up and some thing over it to force in in me faster, so fas t it was kinda hurting. As soon as that was done I got 2 pain pills and was told I could go home. But I did get 3 bills for the great job they did. I will tell everyone I know not to go there. Very very unprofessional. I could tell they wanted to run test and hit the insurance for as much as possible.

5/6/2018 , I just got an other bill from them. I would not recommend this place to a dog. All they care about is getting in your wallet!!!
I also got a response from them saying they felt that they had done a very good job while I was there. I have had my house broken into 2 times and someone still from me. This feels the same way.
I hope one of them has to set in a room hurting so bad and cramping up and they need me to help.
I'm going to try and get the news media to do something on this.

Wonderful experience from intake to the thorough analysis and explanation of condition, to the bedside collection of info (rather than before the care). Atmosphere was pleasant, extremely clean, and staff were all very cordial and professional. My only regret is I wish I had gone there first instead of a clinic!

This is the worst experience I have ever had to deal with. My girlfriend was sitting in the lobby for two hours and then once they finally took her to the back she was back there for 4 hours just waiting. After scans and what not the dr finally comes in only to tell her some vague news and leave for another hour. We got here at 11:30pm and it is now 6:30am!!! This entire emergency staff is a joke. Dr s and all

I recently had procedures done at StoneCest and am more than happy to let anyone know that if they have to have unexpected or scheduled surgery this is the absolute BEST hospital to have them done in!!! They were so professional, double and triple checked everything, and had the most WONDERFUL bedside manners!!!! To say I am pleased with my experience is an understatement!!! What a truly blessed, respectful, and AMAZING staff StoneCrest has!!!

It took TriStar from 8pm-430 am to tell us they did not know what was wrong with my sister. The staff was very unhelpful and very unprofessional. I would not recommend anyone to visit their ER on any day. The only thing they did get right was the discharge papers.

This hospital SAVED MY LIFE! I aspirated in my sleep due from alcoholism, and generated a terrible infection in my left lung, and was with out a doubt looking death face to face. When i entered the E.R I was seen very quickly, and the only words to describe there work ethic and care for me was plain amazing. The infection was deadly and to top it i was detoxing from one of the worst drug you can DT from. I was induced into a coma in the I.C.U, and due to there amazing doctors and staff i am still alive to tell my family i love them. They were very attentive to my wife ass well and if i can hug every staff member in the I.C.U i would. I never have never had such educated care in california. Thank you to all who helped care for me you are all my heroes. From the bottom of my heart.

As you can see another 1 star review (which most are) . I called at 9:50pm 10/26/18 and whoever the lady is that answers the phone and directs you to the register lady is RUDE. Both of the women were rude. She answered the phone like she's fed up and wants to go home. No enthusiasm, I get it the end of the night and a Friday but if you can't learn to greet a customer, a human being for that matter then fire them or send them home. I told the woman on the line that I needed to pay my bill so I need the account number and she had a whatever attitude. When she connected me to the register woman I told her I needed my account number and then she said it'll be one minute then hung up. She didn't say anything about hanging up or putting me on hold- the line went dead. I called again to the ugly greeter what happened and she tried to connect me and the phone was ringing for over a min so she tried again and she answered and I told her what I wanted again and she asked for my name and when I was spelling it she kept saying "what" . And then when she gave me my number she wanted to say it all fast and stuff I had to tell her to slow down and she seemed irritated. Worst communication skills. Hire people that want to be there! That are good communicators and good customer service skills. This hospital has always had the rudest and inconsiderate employees, nurses, doctors.

Couldn't afford to pay the bill $1200.00 so they sent there attorney after us,so instead of owning $1200.00 we now owe $1800.00,DOES IT REALLY COST $400.00 to send a letter to someone. This hospital sucks.

I'm writing this review for my elderly father. He was recently diagnosed with an illness that requires weekly blood drawn. Each time we go there, there has been OVER AN HOUR AND A HALF wait. It's not because there are a lot of patients either. I do know they need more than one tech to make it easier on patients having to wait. Each time I've went I have seen patients get angry and just leave because it's taking to long. The lab technician needs more training as well because she has tried more than 3/4 times each visit to get his blood. Only the last visit did she call for help. Her excuse...he's dehydrated. Not he's not, you need more training. Apparently, patients mean nothing to this facility. Poor excuse for a lab. We are looking into other options.

I dislocated my finger back on memorial day playing basketball so I went to the ER. I required two xrays before and after. I was there less than 45 minutes at the most. A nurse popped my finger back in place. I had no shots not even a bandage and I chose not to have my finger numbed.. We have insurance. Want to guess how much this hospital charged, over $6,000. I expected to pay probably a few hundred dollars out of pocket. Well I'm now responsible for over $3,000. I will never go to this hospital again, I can't afford to. I can't imagine what they would charge for something more serious.I should have went to a walk in clinic or watched a video on YouTube. Yes there is a video on how to pop a dislocated finger back in place.

Service wasn't great. Nurse was extremely rude. Had rash was told it was eczema and my eye was swollen. Not labs or urine samples taken. Prescribed naproxen and released. I ended up in ER at St. Thomas days later with full blown skin & eye infection. I'm now on antibiotics and steroid creams. I would NOT recommend this hospital. I WON'T pay their bill.

I went to the ER a little less than a year ago, I usually give this ER a five!! I went there because I was having constant migraines, I forget the DR name( he is the Asian one). I have epilepsy. The nurse was very RUDE as was the DR!! They gave me Tylenol, and sent me home. I told them that I may have a concussion because I had fallen during a seizure. The next day I went to Vanderbilt hospital, I was ADMITTED FOR 5 DAYS!!!

This was the worst hospital I have ever been to. They suggested unnecessary things that cost me a lot of money. They also prescribed me medicine and charged me $150 for it and I could have gotten the same medicine over the counter. The medicine did nothing. They treated me like I wanted drugs when I was having an emergency. I ended up going to the hospital at Vanderbilt where they did a much better job and prescribed me the medicine that I needed. I will never go to this hospital again even if my life depended on it. They also sent my bill to collections without proper warning so make sure you pay the bill as soon as you get it.

They don t have the capacity to handle the mentality I ll here even after thE ER was redone it s completely understaffed and under trained when handling individuals with actual mental illness. They only make it worse . You are supposed to treat them with the same respect as anyone else coming for help. And Here they don t which makes the patient worse.

The new emergency room physicians (NEWBERRY EMERG. PHYS) charges an absolute ridiculous fee. I went in for dehydration...got one IV and then got charged $1086 for the dr to come in and tell me I could be released. That is ON TOP of the charge from the actual hospital. Needless to say-- WITH INSURANCE...the overall charges were over $2000 for 3 hours in a room where I only got and IV bag. Absolutely ridiculous. Called to get the fee lowered and the woman at their 800 number was rude and told me that was the charge and it could not be disputed. BEWARE!!!!!!!

While looking up reviews of this hospital for an u...

While looking up reviews of this hospital for an upcoming delivery in the maternity ward, and seeing so many of the negative comments about the ER, I felt inclined to share my experience almost 2yrs ago.

I walked into this ER almost 2yrs ago on a Saturday morning, 16wks pregnant and with a very sore right arm. I was seen immediately, and within the hour I had been diagnosed with shingles and was about to be discharged. A young nurse, probably not more than 24yo, saw a dip in my blood pressure and trusted her instincts that something was not right. Very long story short, I was admitted to the hospital for further workup however for whatever reason I was kept in one of the triage rooms in the ER for about the next 8hrs, probably just due to space and needing to be transferred to Centennial in Nashville later that evening. The entire time I was there, all of the nurses and doctors were wonderful. My husband came later with our 2yo daughter to see me, and the nurses brought her coloring books and things to play with to keep her occupied for a little bit. I was pleasantly surprised at their willingness to let my young daughter hang out in the room with me for a little bit.

I have nothing but positive things to say about this hospital and especially the ER. I was extremely sick and 100% credit that young nurse for saving my life. Had she not followed her instinct and let me get discharged with a wrong diagnosis, I would have left that hospital and very likely not be here today. The staff here were top notch and Im anticipating an equally positive experience delivering my child here in March.

My wife and I have both been treated at your facil...

My wife and I have both been treated at your facility and have been very unhappy with the treatment we've received. I feel your facility only cares about getting a patient in and out as quickly as possible without actually doing anything to benefit the patient. My wife went last year on her birthday for a finger that became caught in a door. The doctor that saw her didn't bother to clean the wound or care for the wound any way. He stitched her finger and sent her on her way. My wife ended up having to see a hand specialist and was almost hospitalized due to the wound not being cleaned before being stitched. What made the experience worse was when my wife asked him if he would be able to make her finger look ok he responded " I'm not a miracle worker and this a really bad cut ". He stitched it up and now her finger looks horrible and will never look the same again. I just went today because of having issues with my back and pain radiating down butt and into my legs. They told me that I was already on medications for the issues I was having and that they don't do MRI's through the emergency room. Yes, I'm already on pain medication and this isn't why I went to the ER as I don't need pain medications. The doctor gave me a steroid shot and a pain shot and sent me on my way advising to follow up with my pain specialist. My pain specialist is the one that told me to go to the ER. The emergency room advised they couldn't do anything for me since I wasn't involved in an accident. Your facility needs to have more concern for their patients and attempt to diagnose the problem rather than giving them medications to hide the issues for a few hours and be back in the same condition they were before coming to your facility. I will never go back to this hospital again although it's very close to my home. I would rather instead travel to a hospital that wants to help find a solution for the problem and that cares about it's patients.

Worst hospital ever They did not respect waiting for patients in the reception hall, even though my son was very sick, crying from the pain and screaming. I waited in the hall for more than 45 minutes. People came to the emergency room. They came in for immediate inspection and I was still waiting.

This one star is for the nurses on the mental heal...

This one star is for the nurses on the mental health wing of the ER. They were the only light in that horrible place.
Please, please from one parent to another do NOT ever take your child there or allow anyone to take your child there if they are in a mental health crisis. They will put them in a cutained wing with adults with real mental illness. They will try to bully and scare you into commiting your child to a facility without a mental health evaluation. They will refuse to acknowledge the recommendation of the counselor. It took 12 hours and two mental health professionals to convince those people to let go of my child.
Please go to St Thomas. Please know you are entitled to a mental health evaluation. Please don't trust this place with your babies.

I'll give a 1 only because I can't give a 0!!!! Staff was very friendly but I sat in the lobby 5 hours!!!!! Didn't even see a doctor!! No matter how much pain you are in they will see you and still send others out in front of you. When I'm constantly told no rooms are available! I'm pregnant and in pain!! My husband left and came back and I was still sitting. Wouldn't let my husband come to the back either. They kept saying no rooms were available over and over!! I am highly upset! I'm pregnant and having sharp pains!! Definitely won't be coming back. My FIRST AND LAST VISIT!!!!

My name is Lisa Guyton and I've already written StoneCrest a ONE star review and after going there again I felt like they needed another ONE star review. I went there on 02.08.20 with EXCRUCIATING pain due to my chronic back pain. The ONLY reason I went back to this hospital was beccause my daughter won't drive on the interstate and I couldn't drive. My BP was somewhere around 205/118 because I was hurting so bad. This was their treatment. A Torodol (again nothing much more than ibuprofen which I take all the time for my back pain) and PILL FORM or 5mg Percocet and Flexiril so I had to wait about an hour for that to get in my system to give me what little relief I could get. Then an x-ray which tells them NOTHING because my problems are soft tissue that doesn't show up on an x-ray. Then before they would let me go home because I was ready to get out of there, they are concerned more with my BP!! Here's a clue Dr Atherton, get me out of pain and my BP goes down!! So I spent all of the next day in bed crying and sometimes screaming when I had to change position but I suffered through it trying to give the steroids a chance to work. At 2 am that night I had my brother take me to a real hospital, TriStar Southern Hills who actually treated me like a human being. BP was 220/126 upon arrival, they took me straight back and put in an IV line and took some blood. They did an EKG because after 2 days of excruciating pain my chest was hurting. Then they gave me Dilaudid in my port and OMG my relentless pain eased off!! I was crying happy tears at that point and my BP eventually went down. They did a CT with contrast and an MRI. Thanks to Southern Hills and Dr Livingston and Dr Byram I now know what is wrong with my back. I have Degenerative Disk Disease (Osteoarthritis) in my lumbar spine and a herniated disk between L5 and S1. Dr Byram explained that pain management was about the only thing I can do for the DDD and possibly surgery for the herniated disk. They discharged me with muscle relaxers, steroids and pain meds. They took amazing care of me, gave me a diagnosis, told me how to follow up with care and treatment and sent me home with meds that would keep me out of pain should the pain come back. I deal with pain in my back regularly and usually can take it but there are days (few and far between) that I just can't tolerate the pain and need something stronger than ibuprofen so I go to the hospital (this time was the 2nd time in 2 yrs) but StoneCrest treats you like you're a drug seeker. I know that there are people that do that but you can't treat all of your patients like that. Some of us legitimately need help, SHAME ON YOU!!

I had such a great experience here! I normally do, but this visit was exceptional. After having a horrible experience at St.Thomas in Murfreesboro the previous day, I was still having the horrible abdominal pain. I went to Stonecrest and they diagnosed me with gallbladder issues and decided that I needed to have my gallbladder removed that day! Doug in the ER was exceptionally nice to me and my family. He was very comforting and attentive. My surgeon was awesome as well: his name is Willie Melvin and he is grade A! There were a couple more names: Emory-Nurse, Kimberly-Nurse, and Eva in dietary that went out of their way for me and I am very grateful! Thank you!

REALLY ZERO STARS!!! went to this ER this morning with back pain and they gave me a lidocaine patch, a steroid shot and an anti inflammatory shot. That was this morning. I left with the same pain I had. I asked them for a stronger pain med and they said no that I would need to go to my pcp. I begged them for just 2 hydrocodone and they wouldn t give me any. I explained to them that I wasn t a drug seeker and that I ve never had back pain like this and they told me to get my rx filled for muscle relaxers. Well, now it the evening and I m still in pain. Worst experience ever. Won t be going back and will tell everyone I know that if you want quality Er and customer service care, this ain t the place for it.

I recently had surgery here. Dr.James Fish @ S.O.S. was my surgeon and he was absolutely amazing. He made me feel more than confident in his abilities and now almost 3 weeks after a lumbar fusion, I am able to move around with minimal pain. I have a return visit tomorrow, with a few concerns, but other than that, I would say it was successful. That's all you can truly ask for after a major surgery like that. I would highly recommend this place and their staff!

I didnt wait long to be seen. Where you get checked in the lady was super rude I understand that they work all day but they don't have to be rude to patients.. the nurse who came and got me she was rude stuck up mostly . The doctor who came and saw me finally he was rude judgemental and he act like I wasn't in pain when I told him I felt a 9. His remark was oh really a 9. Yes a 9 I'm in pain I can't walk really. Asking all these questions if I've ever been to a pain clinic, no I've never been to a pain clinic in my life.. went and got x-ray the older lady was super nice to me very caring and thoughtful.. took me back to my bed waited for like 15 minutes the doctor came and said he would prescribe me three different medications, and then the last guy who gave me my medications was super nice. He made me feel comfortable .. so other that i dont like to be judged as a junkie.. so i dont know if ill go back there.

After dealing with a terrible headache for several weeks, I awoke with slurred speech, terrible memory issues, unsteady gait, dizziness, blurred vision, electric-type headaches, tremors and complete numbness on one side of my face. I thought I was having a stroke and went to ER. While those symptoms haven t improved, I can now accept them because I know what they are. I saw Dr. Michael Hasty while I was at the ER and he was kind, patient, and very professional. I highly recommend TriStar StoneCrest Medical Center in Smyrna. If we have any other health emergencies, we ll be returning there.

I'll start with the positives. The nursing staff is caring and the equipment is in generally good and sanitary order. Now the rest: The administrating staff at the front desk are trashy pieces of filth. Apathetic would be an understatement. Without any resemblance of someone who's paying attention, they very vaguely ask you what's wrong and make you feel like you're interfering with their personal time. After being checked by the sweet nurses, you're then relegated to a 2 to 3 hour wait time. When you're in pain or injured this feels like an eternity. Once you're given a room, there is nothing to give you a sense of time or relief from what feels like purgatory waiting for one of the sub par doctors to come in and do their "professional checks" After being seen for 5 minutes by a doctor whose bedside manner and attitude that makes the administrating staff mirror the jolly Saint Nick himself, you're then given the pleasure of an additional wait without any idea what the doctor is doing. If you weren't so positive you had to be billed before you can leave you'd think the doctor was finished with you, of course assuming they hadn't assigned completely irrelevant treatments in order to milk as much cash as possible from you...I'd take my chances suturing myself and taking Tylenol than to ever go back to this pathetic excuse for a hospital. You'd think since healthcare in America is so absurdly expensive, you'd get 5 star quality from a medical center. Instead Stonecrest has the type of service and atmosphere one could expect from a Soviet field hospital.

I'm perplexed by the negative reviews. We're new to Murfreesboro and this is the fourth or fifth trip to the ER with a different adult child each time. (I won't endure the mess I've heard about locally.) This time my 20 year old son had to be admitted for GI issues and needed a blood transfusion. The entire staff (with the exception of the ER intake attendant, who was unnecessarily snippy when we were slow to answer her brusque questioning, but it *was 5 am) has been absolutely outstanding and on top of their game! We have seen the whole gambit from ER nurses and doctors, an internist, gastroenterology specialist, to charge nurses, floor nurses, and cleaning staff. They have all given exceptional care and courtesy once again. I don't hand out compliments easily. Thank you especially to Kimberly, Mary, and Bill! They deserve raises, promotions, and dinner on the management!

Not impressed. Was in the er thursday with my bf he could barely walk, was dizzy and had a fever. Waited to be seen for 5 hours while others that came after us were seen first. Was diagnoised with strep and given antibotic . friday night hos symptoms came back worse. He was swetting while feeling cold, dirrhia , dizzy, and his throat looked alot worse and he could hardly breath .The pa treating him didnt sound concerned when i told her his fevers are hard to bring down . and when they discharged him he couldnt get up.amd walk and they didnt seemed concerned at all just got a wheelchair to take him out.
Update: 3/18/19

Went into the e.r. at 730pm with a good size gash on my hand from power equipment. Waited for 2 and a half hrs while another man bled from his head with a similar gash... they let over 15 different patients to the back with with absolutly no signs of pain or stress before they even let either of the people with blood coming out of them back. Once in the er room it took them another 2 hrs to even bring in the sutures... they didnt even sew me up then I waited another hr with medical supplies sitting next to me. This place shows no sign of urgency with thier patients and lord help anyone with a life threatening issue... you may wait in the waiting room until you die. If you have another option for medical assistance I absolutely recommend taking the alternative.

The care of my father in ICU was excellent. He was moved to a regular room on the same floor and that is when things headed south. We asked questions that we did not get an answer to and the staff is terrible. They are neglectful in communication and care for their patients.

If I had the choice I would choose to have a nurse with a lower GPA and human compassion over one with high scores and zero compassion & attentiveness.

The care we received in the ER when my daughter had a head wound last fall was perfectly acceptable. The trouble started when I got the bill. Tristar has apparently coded the procedure incorrectly (or BCBS is playing some nasty tricks), and BCBS won't pay it. First, it's an outrageous charge for skin glue (no diagnostics, no medicine, saw a PA instead of a doctor, still charged $2200). But second, every time I have called customer service on my own or in conjunction with BCBS, they are immediately belligerent. I just got off the phone with someone who seemed incredibly angry with me, and I was not at all confrontational. No doubt BCBS is at fault, as well, but they are much friendlier and at least pretend to be helpful. I just need for the coding experts at the 2 entities to get together on a conversation, but Tristar gets mad when I even suggest it. It is supposedly out for review (for the 3rd time), but I don't have great confidence in the outcome. If someone from quality assurance or billing is reading this, please let me know who to speak with to make sure this is resolved for good.

I couldn t have asked for a better hospital experience. We all hear of those horror stories with hospitals. Stonecrest felt like a vacation (even though I was there to give birth to a baby haha). Everyone & everything was spectacular (ALL employees, the food, cleanliness, the overall environment & culture, the process of checking in/out). As long as I m in the middle Tennessee area, Stonecrest will be my hospital!

Very bad medical staff I went there last summer for a mental health problem which I didn t mean to say the nurses told me all my rights were taken away and I couldn t leave the hospital and the nurses were very rude . I am on the Autistic spectrum and when I get mad I tend to say things I shouldn t and I did not mean all of that stuff I had of saying I wanted to end my life it wasn t even true it was just something to get my mind off of what upsetted me . If their was a zero star rating I would give them no stars

The receptionist is very rude. It isn t efficient at all. You will wait 3-4 hours regardless of the pain. If they hv to do scans then you will have to wait for them to send it off online to get the results. Nobody is in a hurry. They do not regard your time.

I was there for respiratory distress and my doctor ordered a chest X-ray. The staff was very friendly and nice however I was visibly struggling to breathe (and there by myself due to COVID-19 restrictions) and not one staff member offered me a wheelchair or any other assistance to move
throughout the facility.

This is the most non professional place I have ever seen in my life and to think I thought I could come to Smyrna and get better taken care of than Murfreesboro. Wrong, straight up joke! No pillows, no blanket. No body never ask us if we needed anything. Had to go find a urinal for my husband. Came in at 7:15ish and still sitting in the examination room and its 4:00 am. Nobody will tell you the truth nor put you in a room. I just don't get it but what is sad about it is they don't care and they think the service that they have provided is correct. But I bet you if the shoe was on the other foot they would require better service.

Good experience in ER. Diagnosed properly and referred to TOA on campus. TOA was able to see me next day. Dr. Greenberg was very competent. Surgery was scheduled for the second day after my ER visit and I've been recovering properly since. Great experience.

The doctor's office I had to visit was just to get results for a biopsy I had done the week before. So instead of them calling or emailing me with them I had to pay a co-pay again. I found the people in this office to be very rude and uncaring. I would not recommend this place to anybody. But this is just my personal opinion.

If the previous 40 "1 star" reviews don't paint th...

If the previous 40 "1 star" reviews don't paint the picture, this review will. This place is everything that is wrong with the ideology of patient care (non existent here) and the health care syndicate as a whole. This is essentially a purgatory for patients who can't make it to vanderbilt or an actual accredited care facility. It's almost like they let a bunch of actors loose with scrubs on and let them play "doctor and nurse", however, I don't think many signed up for the auditions, as you only see a nurse once for the entire summation of your visit. The only thing that will make this experience par for the course is if I get an automatic response saying "we are so sorry to hear about this experience" and then referencing a phone number to contact a fabled emergency room director. It all becomes sensical when you realize the reason you don't see the director is because she's on the phone taking all the calls of people displeased with the way their loved ones are treated. The staff is quite honestly a collection of "B-side" health care workers. Its very clear this staff didnt make the cut of the other respectable hospitals and took residence here. Make the drive to another ER or hospital, in this way, you, who care deeply for your loved ones, can enact change in a broken health care system. Don't mistake the responses to many of these reviews as genuine care, if they spent as much time copying and pasting the same response on every review as they did on actual patient care, they might actually be able to create a positive impact on the lives of patients! Caring for sick people in a hospital.....What a concept!

I am appalled at StoneCrest Hospital ER in Smyrna,...

I am appalled at StoneCrest Hospital ER in Smyrna, TN. My son and I sat in the waiting room for FOUR hours last night because he was feeling so bad. I finally called it at 2am and told them we were leaving. During his initial evaluation they found he had a fever of 101 and swabbed him for the flu and strep. They tried to tell me to wait and I simply said his primary care (who uses that hospital) would call in the morning for the results. Well, StoneCrest REFUSED to share the swab results with my son's doctor. When we went in today he had to be re-swabbed (which sucks!) and we found out he tested positive for the FLU! StoneCrest hospital knowingly denied sharing information on a 13 year old with a POSITIVE flu test! Seriously? What if I'd sent him to school today? How many people has he already infected? I understand that emergency rooms work on the basis of triage, not order of arrival, but to deny an important test result because they won't see the insurance kickback is a prime example of the complete lack of patient care in favor of the almighty dollar. Don't go here if you can help it

My daughter and I brought my sister to the ER bc she was having a hard time breathing. It was a bit crowded, being July 4th, but we waited patiently still. After a little over 2 hours the nurse at the desk stood up and pointed at the 3 off us. "Are you all here together?" she yelled. I nodded that we were. "You both can't be here with her. One of you has to leave." was her response.
My daughter just turned and looked at me in confusion. As did everyone else in the ER since they had now been involved too. I said, "Well we will go out to the car when she goes back."
"No you have to go now. You can't be in here now. Only one person can be with her."
My daughter (who is a minor) still is looking confused at me. "Why is she yelling at us?" is all she asked me. "I'm not sure. Let's just go outside to the car."
Even my 12 year old child knows it is inappropriate to yell in front of everyone in the ER, yet this nurse didn't see anything tactless or rude about her actions. Maybe she didn't care. I'm not sure. In any case, discretion definitely escaped her and made this everyone's business. I had even addressed this already (my daughter being with me) with the nurse screening everyone at the door over 2 hours beforehand when we had gotten there. Really irritating when we had to be there for a family member.

After taking penicillin that written and taken twice on Friday, I progressively got worse after being diagnosed with strep. By Sunday afternoon went to ER with nodes I didn't even know I had and saw Abby and NP Rena. Both provided exceptional care, got steroids and antibiotics, that I'm finishing today as a matter of fact!
Followed directions and feeling much better besides the ill effect of the steroids and antibiotics....lol.

It was very upsetting I had to wait 2 and a 1/2 hours to be seen nobody acknowledged me I had to ask is anybody gonna come take care of me and they let people cut in front of me I had seen a patient talk to the receptionist up front about getting their mom to be seen and I was there long before she was way and they got her in, they allowed her to go in front of me and nothing really conspired with her, they eventually made her wait cuz obviously it wasnt as drastic as the daughter made it out to be. Let's just say I got their a lil before or after 6pm and I left midnight...

Absolutely Horrible! I was there March 16-17. I have detailed my experience on your Facebook page. When I asked who my doctor was I was told they don t come down here . After i insisted for hours a Dr. Bennett finally came down at around 9:30 am after I had been there all night. He looked like they had to wake him up and acted like it too. His coat was buttoned crooked and he treated me like i was a waste of his time. He even said, he didn t have time to mess with me . A complete @ss. I had been asking to see a doctor since around 5:30 am. Of all the folks that came to the ER, I was the only one left there through the night. Two weeks later and I still have flashbacks of this place. No one would tell me anything. The morning nurse finally wrote the name of my doctor on a board in my room at around 8:30 am. There was only 1 nurse, C that treated me as if I was human. She is the ONLY star in this place. Negative 5 stars! Complete train wreck! To hear a doctor tell me he didn t have time to mess with me is really appalling.
