The entire staff did an excellent job during my visit to the emergency room. Thank you.
The entire staff did an excellent job during my visit to the emergency room. Thank you.
Quite possibly the worst ER visit. I called and spoke with a triage nurse who strongly encouraged me to come in due to severe shortness of breathe and a cough. I had been tested for Covid the day before but didn t have results from it. I was in and out of the ER within 45 min. The doctor looked and me and told me everything looked fine, only did a chest X-ray, and told me there was no other reason I would have trouble breathing bc my BP and oxygen levels were fine. I understand the healthcare world is overwhelmed but I do not ever resort to emergency resources unless I truly feel it is warranted and I was so disappointed at how disrespectful I felt I was treated by the doctor. I overheard the nurses being shocked at how little the doctor had ordered. I have since been cleared of COVID and have been tested for many other things to address my shortness of breathe, per my wonderful PCP, something the hospital should have done to avoid all of these additional visits. Do not recommend this hospital based on this one experience. Very disheartening to feel discriminated against because visually one looks healthy. To not be able to breathe normally for over a week now is terrifying, but even more so for a doctor to look at you without a care and hurriedly tell you there is no medical reason he could think of for not being able to breathe. Thanks for nothing Dr Lewis. A simple referral to a pulmonologist would have at least been appreciated, or validation of any sort.
I cannot imagine being treated any better than I was October 27th 2020 for my hip replacement surgery. From Pre-Op to my surgery and release as out patient, Everyone and everything was wonderful. I felt that I had the best care I could ever ask for. Thanks Hvlle!
Pretty good service. One issue: I asked for a copy of the agreement and didn't want a copy of the receipt...I got the opposite
Extremely friendly. Although no one enjoys going to the hospital for tests, the receptionist & the ultrasound technician maid me feel very much at ease.
Sad to Admit that i use to work here. As a employee, staff is a mixture of some Good, and some Bad like everywhere else. As a patient my experience over the past year or so has been all bad. I come here bcuz Sumner Regional is a death trap. Bcuz i was an employee here i Think im goin to recieve better treatment. So far that has not been the case. A shame that the renovations here have not improved the level of care
The staff at The Birthing Center were so nice and comforting. We ended up having to go to the NICU for a few days and they were all very informative and caring. I m very glad we chose this hospital for our birthing experience.
Have made a visit to same day surgery on the 6th, & the 15th, staff was amazing on both visits, Emily is awesome.
I appreciate the professional staff at Hendersonville medical center.
They kept me calm and met my needs in a timely manner.
Every person at this place is amazing! All staff members are personable and friendly and care about what I was going through. I appreciate the care with which they handled my situation and would recommend anyone to go there.
Very attentive and gave me all the details I needed to know
Getting into the ER was great service on the third floor was fabulous But getting Discharged was back Doctors took way to long to get together to make a decision,
Had tests done for my heart Doctor who I am supposed to see in December.Also. had blood drawn.Had to be done so I was okay with it and wore my mask in the facility.
Been twice both times it s been a negative experience
I don't recommend. We got here for a scheduled C-section which has been scheduled for 3 months and get here @ 10:00am and were told it will be at least 30 minutes and said they didn't give you card to call before we came. We told them no so they told us to wait in the waiting room and they would come get us, they never even asked us out name or nothing. Now we have been here over an hour went to see how much longer and got told it's going to be a least another 30 minutes and again got asked they didn't give you a card to call and again we told them no. They still didnt ask for a name. There birthing center is like there emergency room ain't worth it.
My mother went into the ER by ambulance with severe kidney pain, and after waiting hours to be seen and lying in a bed in the HALLWAY, they told her she had a mild UTI and was constipated. My mother is an avid coffee drinker and is extremely regular. We left and went to the hospital in Gallatin and they diagnosed her within ten minutes with pancreatitis and a kidney infection. If we hadn t left this poor excuse of a hospital, we wouldn t have known how sick she was. Do not go here.
Everyone was so friendly and very efficient at their jobs.
Everyone was very nice and professional. I didn t have to wait over 5 minutes to go back and was done in 30 minutes for two separate test!
Everybody was very helpful and very nice.
I recommend that anybody is going to have a same-day surgery to go there.
The nurses were great during my time there. The Doctor was great great place.
Couldn't have gone any better. Everyone was wonderful.
I was treated very well greeted and temped as soon as I arrived, filled out forms and was taken to paperwork, then to another office where I waited a few minutes on scan tech. then while I consumed meds for test I watch tv in a comfortable room for an hour. then I got scan very quickly and efficiently. everyone was very professional and kind.
Very professional service from ck in to ck out
Much appreciated
Great staff really makes the difference here. The care we received was tops!
Very friendly staff. The mammography technician was professional and very pleasant. The mammogram itself took no time at all. Highly recommend this location in Hendersonville.
It seemed as if the doctors and nurses were in a big hurry to get me out of there.
My daughter came into the ER with intense stomach pain. They ran numerous tests and gave her pain medicine (fentanyl and dilautid) used a catheter and very long ultrasound which caused more pain. I'm not unfamiliar with tests so I know they had to perform them. Staff was great until they couldn't find the cause. Nurses were very caring. Dr came in at one point when she was resting and commented that she couldn't be in pain if she was resting. She had rested for maybe 5 mins then woke up crying out . This happened several times. I found this to be a bit crass for a Dr to make this comment. Looked at me like I was crazy to think she was still in some pain.I just wanted to know how to help her stay comfortable, Did Not want her taking anything else. They Discharged her and I wheeled her out myself without another word from anyone. SO ...hence the 3 star rating.
We had Lexus as our night nurse, she was excellent! Was super caring and genuine and helped me through my entire labor and delivery! For my day nurse I had Evelyn she was just as wonderful! Took great care of me and my baby! Both nurses were very attentive and had amazing personalities. Very satisfied with the nurses I was assigned. Rooms were clean, all staff were super nice and overall great hospital stay! Highly recommend!
Very easy to check in and a short waiting period to be seen.
Seen IMMEDIATELY!!
Was freaking out due to my injury,
But all staff calmed me down..
Made me feel like an individual and not a number...
Thanks Tri Star!
It has been a few weeks since I went to the er alone and I am still so upset that I could scream. Staff did not show any concern for me and did not listen. The dr that saw me obviously couldn't be bothered and spent maybe a couple minutes with me and then did not give me any help or useful information and this isn't the first horrible experience I've had here. Now I'm stuck with a bill for over $600 for the worst and most unhelpful experience I have ever had! I am so furious with the way this place is run!
Everything worked the way I expected I m a previous employee and my wife was seriously ill and ended up in icu and everything especially the nurses were great the only that didn t work as expected was the food my wife ordered things she could eat because of the diet of thickens food and they just could not get this straight she didn t eat for 2 days because of the mess up but otherwise I give it a 9 out 10
Terrible service from everyone on staff that night. I was given medication not related to my diagnosis as well and had a terrible reaction to it!
My father came here tuesday to have kidney surgery! The doctor was top notch! The nursing staff could not be better, the procedure went without a problem, his recovery is proceeding nicely! I would like to thank the hospital staff for making my dads stay a really good one!
I feel that I should have been admitted but with the Covid-19. Situation I will take that in consideration.
Absolutely rude unprofessional nurse at nurses station who acts like she doesn t care about patients health
I brought a child here late on a weekend. They got us in quickly and everyone was very nice. Some tests were done and our diagnosis was completed quickly. We left and were home within a short time. On Monday we followed up with our doctor and she informed us that many times this particular illness is misdiagnosed. The ER at the hospital did a very good job of diagnosing our illness. We are happy and we would go back.
I regret some have rated the Hendersonville Medical Center poorly. We moved here from Massachusetts 4 years ago to take care of my aging parents. My Mother was in HMC often and the care of the staff was exceptional. They were professionals and intervened appropriately. Then 3 weeks ago for the first time in my life I was admitted into the hospital and since HMC was the closest that was the hospital that I was admitted to. I found the staff to be professional and exceptional. I appreciate the excellence that they strive for from the Dietary staff to the medical professionals. There are always a few who don't participate with that vision, but my time on the third floor and also CCU and second floor was exceptional. They are in the middle of a big construction project so it is a bit noisy but that is only because they are improving the facility. The staff is very busy but I appreciate that they are caring for a lot of patients. I have absolutely no complaints about my experience.
I have read some bad reviews about Hendersonville Medical Center. I came into the ER on 3/11/19. The ER was busy so I had to wait for about 45 minutes before getting to the back. I had Ashley and Evelyn as my nurses and Dr. Fran as my doctor. I was treated extremely well and was taken excellent care of. I was in some serious pain and nauseated this was handled promptly as well. I was admitted and I feel like I'm in great hands here. Thank u to my amazing nurses and doctor yall took good care of me. So can't say I had a bad experience at all even when the ER was packed I was never overlooked.
Pre-op had to do a covid test - they shoved the stick so far up my nose that I bled quite a bit. The woman told me she had to keep going up until my eyes watered. I was a bit dehydrated so that didn't happen easily.
Then when she gave me my paperwork that tells about the procedure I was having, she gave me the wrong paperwork with a different procedure. I didn't notice until I was home as she just stuck in in the blue bag they gave me.
The day of my surgery most of the staff was very pleasant and the surgeon was the best.
Dear HMC,
I can not say enough nice things about my experience. The staff was great and took great care to make sure I was in no pain. The staff held my hand. They were amazing
I appreciated the professionalism and courtesy shown by the staff at TriStar. It was a very good experience.
I was very pleased with the care I received at Hendersonville Medical Center! The staff (from registration thru post-op) are very professional, kind and helpful! I'm so happy we have this hospital in our vicinity. I will always recommend it to anyone.
The staff is always nice. They take good care of you and make you feel comfortable while there.
I had major surgery at TriStar in Hendersonville. The care I received was outstanding. From the time I hit the dood was great. My nurses & nurse techs were great. I plan on going to thank them face to face.
Some nurses rude my nurse never checked on me after I got checked in and she put in my IV then they were running behind after being 2 hours early. Then I was being rolled back I could hear several employees talking about how they were not happy with there jobs and their boss was not simpathtic about listening for housekeeping. Not sure if it was cause I was employed there
Everyone was friendly and made us feel at ease. The process from registering to the procedure itself was flawless.
I was taken in quickly and saw a doctor quickly also.
excellent experience. staff was very friendly and professional
This place is a joke! My daughter-in-law has had a scheduled induction date for today for weeks. She arrived early this morning only to find out that they dont have a delivery room for her. She was told that it would be after lunch before something will be ready. We have all taken off work to be there with her. So not only is it an inconvenience for her having to be up so early, it is also and inconvenience for us because now we possibly have to either take another day off or miss the birth. They really need to get their act together and when they have appts booked they need to be a priority. The women that have already given birth should have been moved out of the labor and delivery room to make room for the women that are coming in to give birth.
The nursing and other staff in the birth center are fantastic. They bend over backwards to make sure our every comfort and need is seen to. Tamika was especially kind to our older daughter, making the new family addition a special event for her as well.
My visit at the TriStar imaging was very pleasant. The staff was very helpful and efficient. Thank you so much for caring. God Bless
I arrived in the ER in a lot of pain and bleeding from a table saw accident . I was taken care of immediately, x-rayed and stitch up in less than an hour a sent on my way. Fast efficient service right when I needed it!
The only reason I am not doing 5 stars is because this last visit was the longest ever I've ever been in the ER. I have gone here off and on since 1993. I believe it was 5 hours before I was released and about 3 hours in the actual waiting room. Dr and nurses were great and apologetic for the unusual wait
the staff was very friendly. many checkpoints to keep everyone safe.
Everyone EXCEPT the attending ER person was nice. I was treated very poorly by a night shift person who was male. He would not even let me off the bed to urinate. Finally a very nice gentleman/nurse came to help me down to urinate. I wish I knew his name. I am not going into detail because a lawsuit may be pending but this place is a joke.
. Staff was helpful and friendly. Would definitely recommend.
I had a great experience, the nursing staff was attentive and kind to me. I loved the doctor I was assigned for my emergency surgery. The is such a great little hospital.
We have been in the labor and delivery unit for 6 hours with my daughter having consistent contractions 2 minutes or less apart but are now being sent home without her having even seen a physician because "She doesn't meet criteria for a doctor to come in based on our checklist". She had a C-Section 14 months ago and is having pain at the incision. It sounds to me like that should be a concern for her uterus rupturing. How does that not meet criteria for a physician to at the very least walk in the room to reassure her that everything will be ok?
Wow- I know the system is over worked right now. However when you tell them your past medical of gastric bypass and they only write down bypass it tends to muddy the waters. I signed my self out against medical advice due to the fact that the Dr wanted to fun more labs and testing on my heart. I don t have heart problems. No one ever came and took my insurance info and now they will be billing the wrong insurance. So it s now my job to do their job and call billing to fix the information they failed to take.
The greeter/temperature taker arrived at 7:35, for 7:30 start, then took 10 minutes to get ready! Like the customers are not important!
When I worked we were expected to arrive early enough so that you started ON TIME not 15 minutes LATE!
I had a wonderful experience for a preventative procedure at TriStar Hendersonville. Everyone that I came in contact with were wonderful...nurses, anesthesiologist, doctor, recovery room. I highly recommend using this hospital if you must! Thanks!
Staff and services provided were great. Only issue encountered were bruises from traumatized veins where first nurse had trouble drawing blood.
I recently was a patient in the Emergency Room of Hendersonville after a car wreck. Everything was handled in a very efficient and kind way. I was in and out in less than 2 hours. Very pleased.
Awful, started out at emergency room, when they told him he was going to a room, it's like they forgot about us. That nurse call button is a waste of time. Now that he's in a room, right now no tv, lousy food choices and he's says very uncomfortable on the bed.
I had one of the worse experiences at this hospital. Did not monitor my blood sugar at all. The nurse was horrible had my incorrect medication. Communication was very poor.
The ER was prompt, professional, and compassionate. They made me and my family feel that I was in good hands.
Everyone was very friendly and polite. The nurses went above and beyond to take care of me we even had humorous conversation to help take my mind off the pain. I think it was the best experience I've had at the ER. Thanks for everything and I highly recommend every one to chose this ER wjen in need!
Very organized, highly professional with a personal touch.
A professional staff throughout the hospital. I was well cared for.
This was my fifth attempt to have a breast MRI and by far the best experience. The first attempt was in April 2020 at Centennial which was a good experience until I became nauseated from the media. The tech did not warn me that nausea was a common side effect that passes quickly. I was wearing a mask because of covid and the nausea caught me off guard. I pressed the button and the test was stopped and I didn t know it could not be restarted. I was rescheduled 2 days later but the machine went down. My insurance expired on April 30 so I did not reschedule. In October I did reschedule only to show up and they refused I do the MRI because of the nausea I experienced during the previous appointment. They said nausea was a reaction and I needed to be in a hospital setting with a crash cart. So, I was rescheduled at Summit and the day prior received a call that the machine went down. The woman from Summit was able to get me rescheduled at Hendersonville the next week. In prep for that appointment, the tech from Hendersonville called to go over my reaction I experienced a during my first attempt and when I told her nausea, she said that wasn t a reaction, it is a side effect that s common in most people. It passes quickly . She couldn t believe that Centennial refused to do the test. This was the most frustrating set of circumstances I ve ever experienced trying to get this procedure. The tech at Hendersonville was amazing and I only wish I had started there because I m sure I would have had a completed test back in April.
My Husband's Doctor is Dr Susan Wyatt. She is a Good Doctor,She understands my Husband's needs,We have never had a problem with Her at all.We need more Doctors like Her and the Reception is always nice.Five 5 's for Dr.Susan Wyatt.
Excellent service as usual! Professional staff. I am very thankful that they are located in Hendersonville!
Top notch! Clean facility, nice, and efficient.i would recommend!
Procedure went well and the staff were amazing. Judy
I had an emergency surgery here last Wednesday and while the care I got in the hospital was good, I am disappointed by the discharging procedures. I woke up from anesthesia and was told I could go home as soon as I used the bathroom. I did immediately and was sent home without any instructions for self care at home. I was on a lot of pain meds so I didn t think about it until I got home, but I wasn t told when I could shower, if I had any lifting restrictions, when I could drive again. Literally nothing at all. Then I couldn t get ahold of them until 5 days later.
The nurse's were great as well as the anesthesiologist, and my Doctor was great also.
They took great care of me. Very knowledgeable of my situation. The nurses were incredible
The BEST place to have a doctor and a baby!!! I wish I would've found y'all years ago!!
Horrible Er department judges people my daughter was somewhat seen for an abcessed tooth and the nurse as well as the pa said she just has to deal with it even though she doesn t have dental insurance but that s what they judge you on soooo oh well right please wow when I went to school you cared for your patient.....discusting
People are great but way too long of a wait and too much paperwork just to have blood drawn.
I received wonderful care during this visit. Dr Magoun was thorough and addressed all of my concerns. The nurses were also attentive and caring.
Sent my six-year-old grandson home with a severe asthma attack and only gave him Motrin. He has a history of this, and has even been sent by ambulance to Vanderbilt from this hospital previously so there is no excuse for not knowing how bad he gets. Now I have to take him to Gallatin hospital, so he can get the proper treatment. Shame on whoever was working the ER department that day.
Had my baby here. Amazing experience and wonderful staff!!
Everyone is always so nice and they get you in and out pretty quickly. It is a great facility!
