My father in law was just dying to have his funeral through Trinity And he did. This funeral was no walk in the park. Thats cuz of covid tho. Or we would have had a park service. Anyways all is well and settled now. The old man was cremated and scattered in the wind. I know he would laugh if he knew we buried bbq ashes in his honour instead but thats a long story... We worked with Vince to pre-arrange both of our funerals and are extremely happy with the entire process from beginning to end. Vince was not only very professional while working with us, but more importantly he's a very kind and helpful individual. Their Central Memorial Chapel is a very beautiful and well-appointed building. We are certain that not only this quiet and serene setting, but more importantly the kind and considerate staff, will really help comfort and calm us and our family members when the time arrives for our actual funerals.

To top it all off we found their prices to be about 1/3 less than a nearby competitor we also priced out, so that really cinched it for us. Trinity funeral homes was extremely helpful and very organized when it came to our family members passing. But a special note needs to go out to Shawn Kenyon who was incredible and very compassionate. He explained the process of cremation honestly and openly when we asked him and it showed us that he was not only very good with explaining things but made it clear to all of us that he was serious about what his job was and the responsibility placed in his hands. He spoke softly , with selected specifically chosen words to allow us to understand and feel comfortable with our love one in his and Trinitys hands. It was his soft nature and gentle words that made us feel better after we left. Further he processed all of our paperwork to complete the process on ending cpp , oas, credit cards , passports , everything that needed to be closed out once mums death happened.

I would like to thank Jeff Pringle with Trinity Funeral Homes who was outstanding to work with while we dealt with the grief of our mother's passing on June 25th. He is was so understanding and easy to talk to and helped us in all aspects of things that needed to get done. There was no pressure to obtain services or to pay extra for anything that we didn't want. Jeff helped us with the obituary as well as the Celebration of Life material that we needed to get done. Everything was done professionally and quickly. The Final Document service was also handled professionally by Thuc Nguyen- thank you! Respectful, and knowledgeable, but ...

Update: I've had to edit this review, as there was a mix-up with the cremation, where they didn't believe that they would be ready in time for the ceremony. I had communicated the date of the ceremony with them on the date of her passing (Sunday), and done the paper work that day. I confirmed with them on Tuesday, and was not informed of any issues at that time.
However, I'm told that paper work held things up when I asked them on Thursday. They informed me that they may not be ready in time for Saturday.
I expressed the urgency of the situation, and they said they would look into it and call me about it the same day. That did not happen.
Today (Friday), I called for an update. They tell me everything is ready and the remains should be delivered this afternoon. I will need to call and confirm before I head over at 4pm.

If everything goes well, I'll leave this review as is. The lack of communication was displeasing to say the least.

I called and even though they were busy, they managed to get us in to see a director. Janelle was friendly made you feel welcome and didn't try to get us to upgrade the services.

If one is ever in need of a funeral home I highly recommend Trinity Funeral Home where they provide the same, I would say better, services then other funeral homes for up to half the cost. The owners are socially conscious and saw that it was time for much more cost effective pricing for beautiful funeral and burial packages for grieving families. At a time when you are already dealing with the great loss of a loved one it is nice to finally see a funeral home that makes it financially and emotionally easier to give them the loving farewell they deserve.

Met with Elizabeth / Liz at Trinity after the passing of a close family member. Compassionate and kind don't even begin to describe her. Compared to many of the other businesses in Edmonton, Trinity was transparent and upfront about services and costs, and truly wanted to respect family wishes for a simple dignified service. I have and will continue to recommend Trinity to anyone in my social group who has the difficult task of making funeral arrangements.

It was a good experience, but there is always add on to the price but you can always say no to keep the costs down, and let the family pay for some things at the actual time of death: eg flowers, guest book, food.

My husband and I have prearranged our cremations with Trinity today and had a very positive experience. Vince was very professional, drove out to our house and explained all that is involved in detail. We feel this takes the burden off our families. All the services they provide, for their price, is very reasonable.

I would like to say that recently I faced with the loss of my husband. Thankfully I called Trinity to inquire about arrangements. However they were not my first call, and I could not believe the difference between funeral homes. Trinity, I feel were so professional, they did not try to "oversell", in a highly emotional time. I told them what I wanted and that is exactly what they delivered. I had no idea that the exact same arrangements were in fact several hundred dollars difference at another funeral home in Edmonton.

Today- Sept. 10/2018- my wife and I met with Brandy to discuss our pre-funeral arrangements. Brandy left us with an experience that went beyond our expectation by providing us with flexibility, her knowledge, patience and professionalism. I would suggest that anyone who is looking at future funeral arrangement plans- give Trinity a call and assess the quality of their pre-arrangement services. It was a most pleasant experience.

I researched 4 funeral homes to set up a prepaid funeral contract. I found that Trinity was the best value amongst the 4 (2 of which were very well known in the industry) given our family's requirements. The representative I worked with, Brandy Rollins, was personable, knowledgeable, accommodating and above all earnest in how she presented Trinity's funeral offerings.

Vince was excellent in explaining the prearrangement program, executor's duties APSI and FDS options.He is a pleasure to deal with, no pressure, very knowledgeable, genuine and professional. We are using their services and will be recommending them to friends and relatives.

When my in-laws worked with Trinity I heard nothing but gratitude and praise at how well it went. The building may have changed with their upgrade but the great service was the same.

I can't say enough great things about Trinity Funeral Home and how easy they made everything for us in dealing with the tragic passing of my brother. I would recommend them to anyone who comes into the situation of unfortunately needing the services of a funeral home.
My brother was in his mid 30's and my parents along with myself and sister were obviously devastated. When we talked with John and his staff at Trinity Funeral Home they were kind and understanding. They didn't pressure us into anything we didn't want or need and walked us through everything that we would need to consider in planning the funeral and all our options from there we were able to choose what we thought would be the best for our loved one.
When one thinks of planning a funeral you often think of how costly it can be (this was a concern of ours especially with losing someone at a younger age) however we found Trinity Funeral Home's pricing to be the best and we received much more than what we would have received elsewhere. From the initial meeting to the viewing and finally the actual day of the funeral everyone we dealt with at Trinity treated us with kindness and respect and were genuinely supportive. I went in with plans for a basic cremation , they didn't push for a more expensive package . In fact they offered me some other less expensive

I can not say anything wrong with this place my brother passed away suddenly on us. I live in Florida and had to do all the arrangements for him. I called about 10 other places and they were either too expensive or I just got a cold feeling this was the last placed I called.
