We tried the Sunday brunch, the setting is beautiful very soothing but the food is very ordinary. The desserts on the other hand are delicious.

I find that the price is exaggerated given the menu offered. 980 dhs without drinks and it takes 300dhs more for access to the pool.

I find that there is better value for money in Marrakech.

As close to perfect as possible. The food, staff, amenities, and world class customer service was superb. We enjoyed our third stay here recently and it was just as nice as the previous stays. Highly recommended.

After our vacation was canceled due to covid 19, we compared the various local deals offered by hotels in Marrakech; We were particularly seduced by the Mondarin Oriental Villa Day Pass offer, which seemed by far the most advantageous.
We therefore booked a first time to test, a second to confirm and then several days to be satisfied. We were able to appreciate every service provided by the establishment. The villas are very beautiful, total privacy, exceptional service, generous offer, gourmet catering, professional and caring team ... in short, a hotel that perfectly respects its luxury standards and its promise to make you a satisfied customer.
We therefore had excellent days there. Our children aged 2 and 4 have benefited from total free access while similar establishments charge -50%. We have been upgraded several times.
A big thank you to the waiters Mousaabe, Mouhcine and Said and to the restaurant chef Soufiane who took great care and who fulfilled all our desires with great pleasure.
Thank you also to all the others (receptionists, valets, ...)
Your warm welcome makes us want to come back again and again (we have other days planned)
Good continuation :))

Nice hotel. The private villas with pool are very nice, although not very spaced (we often heard the music of our neighbors). The restaurants are quality, the waiters very professional. Warning bad experience on the other hand with the concierge service. We tried to charge double the normal price of an excursion (about 500 difference!) Fortunately, I quickly realized, so I obviously decided to take care of reservations myself. No apologies from the concierge, who tried to make me believe that this price was the one they were charged ... In short, a bit limited for a hotel of this standard ...

You are fast tracked through the airport with a complimentary executive transfer to your oasis of luxury. The Mandarin Pool Villa is beautifully furnished, relaxing and huge - over 3000 sq ft inc your own heated pool and hot jacuzzi. The food and drink offer is exceptionally delivered by both the Moroccan Restaurant and the Hakassan offshoot. Service is not without small fault but overall you cannot fault their infectious charm and willingness to learn the Mandarin Oriental way . The Spa is exceptional, having had the best hammam ever. This Hotel is a class act and amongst the very best in Marrakech!

We were there for 5 days after New Year. The service was excellent and the restaurants and bars had an excellent experience.

The hotel is very spacious and we rarely ran into anyone. It was a bit too cold for the pool but we made plenty of use of the hot tub in our room.

The spa has a wide range of treatments and even though the hotel was full we managed to get what we wanted when we wanted it.

Location of the Mandarin Hotel is out of this world. The suites are pure paradise. After going to this hotel 5 times i noticed the level of service is much lower and the hygiene is unacceptable. Example is their pool side buffet that had so many flies on the food I was completely turned off. Ants in the rooms seem to be another issue, but can accept this due to the gardens, however service and hygiene can not be negotiated

A great 3-day weekend, attentive staff, the villas are magnificent, the breakfast and the Ling ling restaurant as well. Special attention to Ali, our butler who responds to all small requests, and to the kindness of Jehane, the guest experience director! we will come back

It is no longer a luxury hotel, but a palace. Modern architecture, beautiful gardens. Very nice home. The revisited cocktails are very good, nevertheless I was disappointed by the shisha. I advise you to have a drink under the tents in the garden at sunset!

Very disappointing for those prices

Very disappointing for those prices

Rooms
Generally good quality, nice bed etc. --> what one would expect from a 5 star.
carpet could be cleaner

very badly isolated, there is the restaurant lingling beneath the room and one could very loudly here music i the night from there.
Outside the room (corridor): we unfortunately had the room where they store slippers/towels etc, noise from there and twice there were papers and other rubbish in front of our door
Only one big towel per person per service

Glasses and mini bar weren't filled up for 1.5 days (and then they only brought glasses after again I had to call...)

Bath salt was never filled up until I spoke to the Manager on the day before leaving

Internet is not consistent

Hotel
Very nice hotel in general. Not as detailed into the traditional style! (e.g royal mansour) but still pretty.

Concierge: Quote: " we always requested nice tables" ... catastrophy! Worst tables every time so far, and that is speaking objectivly. luckily we always arrived early so we could manage to get nicer tables.
roundtrip: a lot of things promised, nothing was met to our discussion. the manager refunded us the trip, still it was a waste of a couple of hours of our life. (Tour: kasbah tamadot: booked for two, got a van for multiple people. I asked the concierge on friday and butler on sunday what the plan is. The both said: ksbah tamadot, visit berber house, river and mountain. We only drove into a weird city just after the kasbah tamadot.
Charged 4500.- for two people. I have it weitten 3800.- and it was not what was promised!)

Upon arrival at the hotel no welcome drinks/towls - the next day I saw people receiving towels and drinks.

Reception: is not able to change money into smaller bills than 100. They send an E-Mail prior to arriving, e.g. pillow preferences etc. I filled out the form and nothing was met accordingly.
After leaving I received an E-Mail that they forgot to charge me a taxi trip on the last day to a restaurant. I canclelled the restaurant 2-3 days before and i didn't leave the hotel besides going to the airport. that happened AFTER meating with the manager.

Pool:
40min to get a water, 2nd bottle never arrived! catastrophic service...
Start to clean pool up at 17:00 with lots of noise and pushing other beds towards the bed one is laying on.
SunBeds seem to be broken since 10 years, every movement makes it s noise...

Restaurant
Breakfast: very nice buffet - but especially on the first day.. afterwards: bowls for fruits and bowls for jam and things like hummos were not filled up. Plus there was milk on the floor for over 30min (beginning/end of breakfast) on one day

Mes Lallah Dinner: First upon arrival there was noone for 5minutes!!! Seating us! (We arrived 20:59 and then a rather unfriendly woman came 21:04...)
Reserved at the mes lallah 3 weeks ago, they wanted to give us a terrible one inside next to the kitchen. Then they said its overbooked... and after getting really very assertive she finally made a bit of an effort
At least the Food was excellent (5/5)

Service butler
Simple things: bad
> taxi 55min upon ordering
Table 21:30 (last order) > because of the delay of the hotel driver > 21:50 and they were very nice to still serve us then..
big differences (friend at the same hotel had a much better one, who got things done immediately
(For instance ordered champgne: sent a more expensive one and different food), it was okay but still. a lot more expensive) --> the refunded it, which was very kind, as I also could have given the champagne back but I accepted it.

Spa
Very friendly, nice gym (maybe 1-2 more leg and stomach machines would be great), nice indoor pool.
Good spa treatments
Last day, I waited 25 Minutes (the were delayed) that shouldn't happen. if clients arrive late one should shorten there treatment...

Very spacious, so that you hardly see other guests. Whether spa or restaurant, all recommended. There is nothing wrong with going to a Mandarin Oriental. The complex is located between two golf courses.

nice sorroundings, most of the staff not warm-hearted (like in many other places in Morocco), staff far away from being 5***** (not greeting, not interested in the guests) exception: one lady at the pool restaurant , hotel seems to be under bad leadership

We enquired about the reservation cancellation on ...

We enquired about the reservation cancellation on the same day we made due to extreme air pollution in Marrakech. As it was 7 days prior to stay we are told we would be charged 50% of the total stay charge which was around 3250. As this was the cancellation policy, we were discussing whether to cancel it. Meanwhile, without cancelling the booking, the reservation team charged us the cancellation fee of 3250. They told us as we enquired about it they decided to charge us the cancellation fee without cancelling the reservation.

I am not upset about the cancellation charge of 3250 but how Mandarin Oriental dealt with it. This once again reinforced why Mandarin Oriental is no rival to Four Seasons (we recently stayed in Four Seasons Park Lane, also stayed in Four Seasons Lisbon for the wedding, Four Seasons Maui for family holiday, and my brother got married in Four Seasons Seoul). If we decide to visit Marrakech we would stay at Four Seasons as this is not the kind of service I would expect from a top resort or hotel.

It was very nice that I could not imagine from the maze of the city.
It is cozy, the food is delicious and the spa is great.
The clothes at the entrance of the spa were nice and I bought it immediately.
It was on the way around the world, but I was able to spend it comfortably.

EXCEPTIONAL! A fabulous place with refined and luxurious decoration. The gardens are sumptuous and the villas grandiose. The walls of jasmine embalm the paths of the gardens. Stop in a hammock in the shade of a willow on one of the islets. The LING LING table is gourmet, refined and explosive in flavor and color. I went there twice, I look forward to the third!
