Very awesome app which deliver food at our doorstep of train I got a food package with a great drink in Punjab junction and loved it lot to have a nice food during traveling lovely app for train travellers...

It dont think order with travel khana is a right choice.These people never listen to us.yesterday i ordered food for my parents.They charged twice ,through online they took payment from me and also they demanded cash from my parents. Don't know how google is giving credibility to their website.

Worst food provider. Looks like they took the food from local vendors at station and then serve you. I ordered the food at jabalpur. Very bad experiences. Never go for this. Always take food from irctc otherised vendors.my order ID was 1775697

Food is somewhat good specially for veg thali. But worst for biriyani,, chicken smells, they have just boiled and packed, rice very less quality. Pls dont go for it

They Kept Me Hungry for 8 Hours , I've booked for Nagpur , the train stopped 30 Minutes there but they didn't delivered it there , they said they will do it in Gondia , but they didn't even delivered there. They are A**H**E .

Useless app .I ordered food at kozhikode. Thank God I gave cod. . They didn't process my request .Instead just got a message saying you're order is ready keep ur money in hand. But nobody came to my seat for the delivery... Pls don't believe this app. It's a waste of time

I was travelling from mumbai cst to wardha on date 21/02/2018.I ordered one butter chicken one dalfry and six chapatis.

They are fooling people by showing very good images of food on app in real the quality and taste of food was really really very horrible please dont order anything from travelkhana app.I could have have given minus rating for the food quality but there is no option for it.HORRIBLE GHATIYA GANDA KHANA MILTA HAI TRAVEL KHANA PAR.

Think 100 times before ordering food from a station becoz food quality depends on it and not on Travelkhana. This web/app charges always 40 to 50Rs more than the actual price of the food. test it by ordering the food at some big stations same packed food will be selling for 120 to 150RS were as app will get it for you at Rs 170 to Rs 200.Discounts offered are useless as the delivery person will always ask for full payment and if you pay online the delivery person simply say we take cash only and if want food then pay..There service was same 2 year back and still same May-2017. Take food from train pantry. at least you can complain

This is the worst online food delivery site as they don't have any credibility of sticking to their words. I'll advice never order food through this site as at last You'll have to remain hungry only as they are not going to provide you any food.

They serve the best food hot and delicious with all due care of hygiene i tried it in surat while traveling towards rajasthan from train no 12996 now i don't take all those dabas from home while traveling

For me to go on long route journey is just like visiting an office. Hence while being on tour for many days I take care of my health and prefer to have quality food only. With the help of food parcel service from Travelkhana, I have never to worry about anything as they know their job well. My food is always delivered on time and at decided station. Online payment is made to them which is also much comfortable for me. Indeed, it is a service I love to use whenever I am on a long route journey with Indian railway.

Restaurants are outside the control of travelkhana. They call and insist for modifying the order or sometimes modify order themselves with lower rate items. On complaining they count actual rate without the coupon applied on travelkhana.

The food was okay. But all of the food was simply given away in polythene packets, and a small paper plate was packed along. The packing could have been better, like for instance packing in a disposable plastic plate with slots, as done by Havmor. At 145 rupees, the food was not really worth the money. (Had dinner delivered at Lonavala station)

This is a fraud company that serves very low level food. On August 21, 2018, the train number 19610 was delivered on 30th plate at Tipri junction but Confession Message got it Dear Rajesh, order at Saharanpur on 21-Aug train No. 12232 is confirmed, amount is 4200.0 (Incl. Thanks for ordering with Travelkhana.com T & C Apply And the food which was found was so poor that it was not worth the food, and packing was so tremendous that it needed to get help from a knife (knife) to open it. Anyone who reads this message, my advice is to avoid any such fights and make any other arrangements better than this.
Also interesting was the fact that the painkiller tubes of Combifle in the food pack were also given together because they knew that it would be necessary after opening and eating our food packing.

We ordered food for pick up at Chennai Central. The quantity was good and food was tasty.

I had ordered lunch for the first time at Rourkella station on 20 May 2018. After reaching there the customer care says that I have to find alternatives, since they are unable to deliver the order. Shame on you.

One of the worst service provider. Don't trust on these guys they are just money suckers . Please don't other any food from these guys.

It was a delicious meal. Variety's in thali and all of them were superb in taste and quantity too...Must have. Thr food was fresh and hot though i ordered 3 hrz before and our train was running late too...but managed nicely.

The worst experience I had with travel khana. I have ordered one veg thali while traveling. I got the food parcel opened when it is delivered. So I did not accept the food. Suddenly the delivery boy misbehave and told me to cancel the order. I have complained about it but no response from travle khana.It is very pathetic. Guys do not go for travel khana.

I ordered online food from Travelkhana while travelling in train. The food serve was very tasty and delicious and moreover proper take care of packaging is there, you can see.

I had booked meals for my 70 years old parents thinking that they would deliver food for them. I had even paid the money online. This was for train number 17005. Order was booked on 8th of Jan for Rourkela junction. The food never arrived. They will be not have anything to eat. Poor people they trusted me and I trusted this Travel Khana.

Very bad experience. I ordered 7 chapatis and 1 kadhai paneer but they deliver only 3 chapatis and the quantity of food is very less and they collect full amount of 7 chapatis.
When I call the customer care service they replied that action will be taken with in 5-7 days....we suffered alot due to their fault.

The food which you sent this meal, in today's date, it is very rotten in rice and it is breaking hair in it in the rain.

Had ordered food but the food wasn't delivered. I called them up and asked them to provide the food at another station and they refused. Pathetic service. If you cant deliver, you might as well not provide the service.

This is regarding the order 410293, delivered on train 16859 at Erode Junction. The food was pathetic. I am sure that that food served by Indian Railways taste better this.

Ordered bfast at Gaya station through them. Food was pathetic, poha was smelly and oily and instead of flat rice was made of Desi bhuja!! Was stiff and cold. No one ate it. Sandwich was 2 slice cucumber, 1 slice tomato with a cheap chilli sauce layer. Total waste. The call center kept insisting on adding random items to the order, Thank god didn't order more.
We ended up eating from railway pantry!

I had a horrible experience with Trvalkhana.
We were travelling in Kerala Express on 6th December from Trivandrum to Jolarpettai. We ordered lunch (order id 37291) at Ernakulam station and dinner (order id 37295) at Coimbatore. We got served the chicken biriyani we ordered at Ernakulam station. But , to our amusement, the biriyani delivered by travelkhana was same as the one which is available in the pantry car. ! And the food was of very very bad quality. The briyani had a cheap sour taste which we could not eat and threw it away. And when contacted by the call centre agent, I tried to explain the bad quality of the food, but the moron was not ready to listen to me and interrupted my talk and started talking non-stop. What kind of call centre agents the company is recruiting... Later, I cancelled my dinner order at Coimbatore Jn.

Travelkhana's service is very pathetic and they have a bunch of annoying call centre agents. What they serve is cheap quality food which is available in the pantry car for more price.

I will never recommend this service to anyone. Avoid Travelkhana.

On my way from Ahmedabad to Mandi Dabwali on 28 of June I ordered for few items to be delivered at Jodhpur. As per my calculation the bill must be around 500-600 by any good norms. But they people asked for Rs. 925.00 which was on extremely higher side. Then only after 10 minutes I cancelled my order. But a man came at Jodhpur station to deliver the food. And the height was when I received a phone call talking very rudely that when I and to whom and on which number I cancelled my order. So in the nutshell it was a bad experience

Really bad experience just confirmed the order twice in a day but not delivered even though called them several times to not be fail and he assured me every time but all those was fake commitment.

when i searched about travel khana on Google the company said that there is ZERO RS service charge.but when i ordered food on surat.i took food in trickily way then i came to know on every order they charge 50 RS but i dint even pay because i took the food in trickily way.Food was Bad.half boiled rice.chapati was cooked in oil,ladies finger were decade.its better to have rail food it will spoil health little but travel khana will spoil fully.I will never recommend people to get food from here

Food was delivered on time but not worth 140. I ordered mini meal n I got chole roti dal rice pickle n salad. Chole were se less that it got over with 1st roti. Dal was so oily that it cud have greased a car. I will never order anything from this website. 2 stars for soft Rotis

I have booked my lunch for my wife in Gondwana Exp at Itarasi Jn, but not delevered at Itarasi Jn. Again rescheduled at Betul Jn., but not delivered.My family (Wife & kid) faced too much trouble with Travel Kana and travelled without meal.(Pantry car was not in train)
I will never use Travel Khana in future.

It's not only me. They did not respond to any of my friend's calls also. They also ordered some food

Tried it for the first time.. Had ordered two meal (one at Mathura station (crazy bites) and other at Pipariya, MP (Ashok Regency) Initially, was apprehensive whether the order will be delivered, but finally it was delivered. Food at Mathura station was okay (3.5 out of 5), food at Pipariya was good (4.5 out of 5).. Keep in mind that the comparison has to be made with the food otherwise available in the trains and not with the food one might expect from a local good regular restaurant
It seems that the menu on Khana Travel website is standard for all restaurant listed on website (which is not possible)..So the food actually delivered was little different from that mentioned on the website; though manageable..

These guys clearly don't know what they are doing. I ordered dinner which was to be delivered in Surat station - it failed to turn up. Upon calling their helpline, they apologised though had no reason to offer for the failure in delivery and assured me it would get delivered in Vadodara two hours later. No delivery at Vadodara either. Some extra meals at the railway catering meant I did not have to go hungry that night. Clearly never trusting these guys again. The best part was I received an email the next day which said "travel foodie, hope you enjoyed your meal. here's a voucher for you. Please order again" . Incredible!

I ordered chicken briyani which is supposed to be delivered at Kanpur central but no one showed up, then immediately I called the customer care and explained them about the issue they rescheduled my order to be received at Allahabad station. Really bad experience with COD option.It is never delivered when cash on delivery option is selected. When I complain them over phone they simply disconnected the call.Really bad staff at jhansi.Customer care have no solution the problem. They provided new mobile number to contact, as if it is not their duty to resolve the issue.
Note that when booked with online payment option, food received was really good. No problem with food quality anytime.

My wife and her friends were on Train No - 12655 ,Navjeevan express to Chennai on 24 th March. They have ordered Lunch which was committed at Nellore.( Order No - 834484 ). But it was not delivered. Travelkhana did not bothered to inform ALSO. Without food all of them were put in to heavy hardship. Having booked the order and also informed the amount as Rs.1040..Travelkhana made them to starve.Shall we get any compensation for their service failure....?

My order wasn't delivered. They called me 10 min. before reaching the mentioned destination for my order and said they can't deliver it and cancelled the order. They should not take orders when they can't serve it to their customers.
