I order food do.delivery at chitaurGarh station in train no 12981 after so many followup and confirmation for deliver at last they have not delivered food and apologise for that I strongly recommend not to order from travelkhana worst site and worst response from travel khana team

Have ordered jain food in vadodara. Food was really bad. The polythene they packed the food in was smelling very badly.

Bad quality food provided at pathankot railway station around 8 pm. When I call they didn't answer. Smell was coming from rice. Roti quality was bad and rasgulla was broken into pieces. My parent didn't eat that food and remained empty stomach. Next day travel khana agent call and say sorry. Very bad experiences with travel khana.

Grievance pertaining to Order No. 2278068, travel date 19-Feb-20 NOT resolved till date, in spite of multiple telephonic followups. Awaiting actionable way forward.

Last week i had to go to Ludhiana from Ambala. So by call I ordered food delivery for meanwhile my journey. I got food delivery at my choice of station on my seat. Food they delivered was so fresh and tasty. I enjoyed it very much.
I would love to recommend it to others also.

It's fake service. Take your order and money but will not deliver food. They did not deliver food when I ordered food for my sisters and kids at Nagpur station. I am planning to sue Travelkhana. Also you can go through other reviews. Please please don't rely on this.

I ordered paneer veg combo but the package they delivered was like redi wala food plain roti send with paneer and the quality of roti was worst and no butter roti they send plain roti and as polybags are banned in India but they are giving food in polybags only .

I travel bandra to allahabad. I order combo paneer and rotee and birayani. It is different from photo which are given by them. The taste was not good ...

Wow great service provides by travelkhana don't care about your food while traveling because travelkhana is just an amazing food service they provide as u want veg nonveg ,lite fruits whatever u booked and each and every thing was great freash and well coocked and pleasantly served in your plate and tasty too i loved travelkhana they are doing such an great job thumbs up .

I recently ordered food from travelkhana and there service is really good. I like the food. They give also timly delivery.

We had ordered food from travel khana vide order no.-359380 on train no.-22620 and the food was supposed to be delivered at Renigunta Junction but the food did not arrive and when we had called to inquire about delivery first they answered phone then the phone was cut when I asked about the order then after a while of calling 4-5 times they answered the phone and told after inquiry that the delivery boy has boarded the train n will deliver within few minutes(it is to be noted that the incident has occurred at 21.30 hours) but even after 22.40 till the time of writing this message, the food has not arrived.
This is truly an irresponsible behavior from the caterer's side as they should only take orders if it is possible for them to deliver within time as we could have have ordered from some other caterer. This behavior of travel khana cannot be forgiven as we passengers r left hungry at night and since pantry is not threre in this train and also there are long gaps between two stations and also due to the odd timing of night we have to sleep without food. I will never ever recommend travel khana to anyone in my circle of family friends and colleagues.
Truly an irresponsible behavior. One should know their limits before taking orders and should not let passengers be helpless at odd hours. If they could have messaged about non delivery then we could have bought food at the station itself.

I was very disappointed with what i have received the order (Order No 989098). I ordered for Idli & Vada, and Puri with Aloo Sabji,and i received them at Nanded, i got them packed in poor condition and those were packed in a newspaper. the Chutney given by them was very sour and even my family members refused to eat and thrown the packets in trash. they made they journey with empty stomach. this was a bitter experience with this Travelkhana. Please do not order and don't refer this app.

Hi I placed an order for 9 veg thali on 09, 01, 2017 at jammu vide order no. 733554 . I was told that there shall be dal, veg, paneer veg, rice ,roti, n sweet dish, in this thali ,but sweet dish was absent, the food was not hot as I was told, even the packing wasn't good enough, while opening the thali we had to fight a battle . TOO POOR , THIS KIND OF SERVICE ? TOTALLY UNEXPECTED.

I have been recently visited this mega kitchen. Place were they make food for us is very clean and hygienic.Food is also very good and tasty. I like it.

While moving all the way from Kolkata to Hyderabad, my prime concern was about food as I was with family and my kids are quite choosy about food. During journey, someone suggested me to use the service of travelkhana for food parcel availability. I just called them and the customer care executive guided me at all the stages to place my order. We also got the food parcel as we had instructed and it was really a beautiful experience to have the food delivery service from travelkhana. My kids loved the food also.

Really bad food. It was cold and the veggie was rancid. Delivery wasn't done to me but another passenger who handed me the food. Amazingly bad service. Do not order from here.

Today I have ordered 1 Veg thali at around 3:30 pm near Patna for delivery at Mughal Sarai but didn't receive the same on time....
Very very very poor service...suggest all not to rely on them.

I had the worst experience of my life as the order no. 225927 for food delivery at Nagpur station was not delivered at night. The person in charge kept promising us that the food is being delivered till the train started and we had to go hungry as we did not buy any food at the station. I think that no one should use their services.

This is an honest review. I was travelling from Jammu to kota and ordered the food in Delhi on 31st August.

My order no. was 81869.. I ordered for food on 1st July'14.. It was a veg thali to be delivered at Durg. My prior experience with travelkhana has been pretty impressive (ordered thalis at Ratlam, nagpur, jaipur, etc), but this time was disappointed to the core.... Paid Rs.165 for what? Dry aloo sabzi and chana? You got to be kidding me that these guys offer such staple food at such rates... The dal was tasting only of haldi.... so much haldi that I had to brush to get the taste off!

While placing the order for the thali, the site mentioned that it would contain a paneer veg sabzi & a mix veg sabzi. But the delivery contained just aloo and chana... paying Rs.165 for this, I felt being cheated.

They did ask for feedback and when I mentioned my complain, they did say that we would get back to you post talking with the vendor. I know, since the food is outsourced, these people may/may not have a direct control over what's being delivered at the end. But they can ensure quality based restaurants/chains for their food and give them strict orders for what's to be delivered. They did tell me that they would deliver good food at Akola... but once bitten twice shy!! Didn't risk it again and had food delivered from other sources.

As i hope very good service with reasonable prices best quality food it was delicious & healthy i suggest everyone must try here for sure

I had food ordered & delivered ( KCVL- NZM express) at Surat(Lunch) & Ratlam(Dinner) on 12th Jan.2014 . It was certainly better than Railway canteen food but in both places it was not as good as in a restaurant. Chappati was good but the rice was not fully cooked. Between these two places Surat Restaurant was better.
But for my return journey I had booked dinner which was delivered at Nagada which was as bad as Railway canteen food.
Avoid Nagada order from this site!

I have seen many poor reviews on the basis of non delivery from travel khana . But trust me guys you got lucky if the food was not delivered because the delivered food was the worst ever food I have seen in my life.

Chapaties were dry and hard and full of floor powder. Rice was like plastic. The paneer gravy was tomato syrup which was uncooked and rest of the things was full of water.

It's better you order food from train pantry they are serving really good food.
Never order from tasty khana, you will definitely fall sick once you eat the food delivered by them.

Utter nonsense service. High end unprofessionalism. They promised to deliver my food, but neither the food was delivered nor the complaint had been addressed. The answer was- our concerned complaint dept. would raise the complaint.
Bloody hell! I don t care if the nonsense complaint raise, all I m concerned is about my food. Why don t you imagine the situation of a 34hrs train travel ?? Now I understand why food places are vandalised at times, because u people frustrate us.

I had a very good experience from my first order. The quality of food was good and the food was delivered in time. The price was bit high.

But, I had a bad experience from the second order. I was waiting for the ordered food at my seat in the train at the station mentioned. On delay, I telephoned to the customer care to be informed that the order was cancelled. Reason: They could not confirm the order over telephone. If. that was the case, message could have been conveyed through mail or SMS beforehand. Yes, I got the SMS, but after almost 3 hours of talking to them over telephone.

These people don't care about anything. I have ordered food prior to 6 hours but they even didn't reach out to me and I had to call them again & again and they just mentioned that food will be delivered for sure. But it never happened. Had to sleep empty stomach. Worst experience.

Didn't received my order. Very bad service. I even called customer care that I have reached Satna they told me that don't worry your order will be in your hand. I will recommend everyone never to use travel khana.

Recently I was traveled Delhi to vindhyachal, mirzapur, up. I booked meal through travel khana app but unfortunately my train Brahmaputra mail was 3 hours late. I cancelled the order. After reaching the station called again at 11 pm but didn't got any response. Hope will try Next time.

TravelKhana 100% POOR services. or na hi ye hotel check karta hai meal ki quality is very very bad or jo menu me hota hai o delivered bhi nahi karta hai or us khana ko khana to dur dekhna pe bhi ulti ho jaye or nahi paisa return karta hai so mai logo ko ye bolna chahunga es site se order book na kare warna aap hi safar me bukhe hi travel karna padega. esse better hai janta khana kamse kam kuch kha to sakte ho par ye do dekh bhi nahi agar train me khana khana hai to plz kahi or se book aro

I would like to give -1 star for their food quality, quantity and taste but that's not possible... Me nd my friends ordered more than 7-8 items from them but all of them were tasting bad nd was half cooked... Above all the quantity of food was not enough... Taste is secondary thing but atleast cook the food properly... Chapatis, chicken nd even rice all were half cooked...

Very poor service. May be they only have a classy website to ful ppl. On a trim from Kolkata to Mumbai, delivery time was around 10:30pm. They sent confirmation ... arrival notification through sms. but didn't send the food. To contact nos. were available for enquiry.

By the way... They also sent a thank you message for ordering.

I had ordered food and paid online for my grandparents as they were travelling alone and hadn't had any food in a while, so I ordered via Travelkhana and paid for it online, now when the food came at the station, the delivery guy asked for Rs 755 again!!!
They told him that it is paid for, to which the delivery guy said that he had no clue of it and would take the food back, which he did, and left my grandparents (they suffer from Arthritis and cannot walk, that is the reason I trusted Travelkhana to deliver it to them) hungry and frustrated.
Now that I call Travelkhana, they say they'll refund the amount, only if they knew that they had lost a loyal customer and it's not about the money but the service!!!
And people ask why startups fail in India, LOL!!!
Disappointed, wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

Order no : 357799. Dinner meals 155/- was delivered in Surat. Chapati, dal was good. However, the mixed veg curry was stale and smelled. Paneer was too spicy. Not satisfied with the food quality. IRCTC food served from pantry is better.

I will never ever use their service....so pathetic and irresponsible.
i remember last year when i ordered my food from them first time and they never delivered my food at the station even i informed them before my train was approaching the station. But noone came to deliver the food. When i contacted them back to claim the refund, one of their support executive had given me assurance that they will arrange the food on the next station and this time they did the same again, no one came to the station to deliver my package.
if you are not ordering your food from pantry car just because you've ordered your food from this guys.
be ready for the worst travel experience because you are not gonna get what you're suppose to get in the time.
