I would have given a zero if it was possibile. No food was delivered to us. The customer service only kept asking if we were at our berth or not. Where else would we be!!!

On calling they said they will resolve this issue in 5-7 days. Seriously!!!

Order from here only if you are ready to sleep hungry in the night.

I had a pretty nice experience with them and ordered non veg thali using Travel Khana app. I wanted the delivery of the food at Bhopal station and it was delivered right on time, food quality was awesome and the prices are fair enough. I am definitely going to use the app again for sure. Quite helpful and nice services provided by them.

Very bad I ordered two veg thali and paneer combo they didn't deliver the ordered meal at badnera jn and sent a message that the meal was undelivered sorry for the convenience very bad experience

Cons:
1. Cheats on customer, dont deliver the whole order. They will deliver the food in hurry and wont give you enough time to check if everything has been delivered or not.
2. Bad customer service. I made a complaint regarding partial order delivery. But no action was taken.
3. Bad food quality. It was full of oil. One can collect the oil from their food and can cook food for 7 days with the same oil.
It was not only oily but also spicy. It was too spicy too eat. I had to throw out the Dal and vegetable.
Pros:
1. Delivery on time.

Very bad experience, I ordered for lunch while traveling, it was served from a road side restaurant in Gwalior where as we had ordered from seven Spices restaurant. The food was stale, the quality was absolutely bad and poorly packed. Almost went hungry and the one who ate fell ill. never ever recommend as lost trust with travelkhana.

If there have been negative I would rather like to give that.Faced a lot of inconvenience .placed order 6 hours before still not delivered .Called many times as the train reached station.They said to wait it will be delivered . Stoppage of 30 min .Train left and then the so called customer care executive is saying sorry.

Don't ever order food from TravelKhana, they are big cheaters, and a bunch of thieves & Gundas running this..
Many times they will not deliver food and when U call to customer care, they will only apologies and will do nothig for you, and will not refund the amount if you have paid in advance, and at last you left empty hand, and just can feel sorry for urself.

I was travelling with my friend and ordered travelkhana two Maharaja Thali order id 90151. They delivered them at Lalitpur Jn. They provided the food on my seat .food quality was excellent & hot. keep it up travel khana...

I have ordered 2 aluparatha with curd and 1 veg Thali from Jaipur. They took 250rs Bt gave 1 aluparatha instead of two. Quality is good Bt quantity is less

buddy dont order from them or irctc cater both are tie up.. els u sleep hungry if u didnt check before also your money get waste like mine..

A group of Basterds are sitting for customer help. They took order and kept saying that delivery boy is on way to deliver and not delivered even the train was at platform for 20min. Disgusting Travel Fellow. No more faith on you.

The service was good gets food on your seat but the food was too oily and nither was good in taste. Its better of you tie up with good restaurants and allow users to select from the choice they want and deliver them.

Irresponsible delivery boy. My order number is 833847. He was supposed to deliver my food in my compartment B3 berth number 59. He went on to deliver my food to some other person in B2. Hr didn't even call on my number before delivering food to someone else. Later he came towards me with food bought from some food stall on platform. I said I won't buy this food. This is not the good I ordered. Very poor service

Worst food ever seen.. we have ordered Veg biriyani and veg fried rice to Prashanthi express at Visakhapatnam on 14th Nov 2017.. the food was worst in taste and quality.. Biriyani, no salt and no flavour it s JUST A COLOURED RICE. Fried Rice, too much salt with no flavour at all.. rahita is white water with few onion pieces.. we are totally disappointed.
I would strongly recommend not to order here. I thought my review would help others not to suffer like us.

Very Bad experience - I ordered food on 3rd Apr 2017 my seat was B6 - 31 and train no was 22904.The food was supposed to get delivered at Ahmedabad , but nobody came with the food, I kept calling the Travel Khana customer no & they kept assuring that the food is on the way & it will reach soon please be seated at your seat, but to my agony the food was not delivered & the customer care stopped responding to my phone calls & the train left the station, I had to spend the night without food, worst experience ever, pathetic customer service & I would never recommend anyone to book food through Travel Khana.

I ordered through TravelKhana while travelling from Varanasi to Mumbai . Their service was great and also the quality if food was awesome. TravelKhana relieves me of worrying about food during travel.It is a great service and we all should start using it more often.

They just seem to be aggregators and I don t think they can enforce a quality level. I got piece of plastic in my roti and the vegetables tasted stale.

3rd class service... and they just changes the ordered food. I had ordered combo pack n they served with 3rd class veg thali everything was badly smelled. When i complained what they said just adjust it..

I had heard about travelkhana many times from my family members who travel with Railways but never got a chance to check their claims. This time while moving from Panjim to Ahmedabad, I got the chance and I must say that whatever I had heard about the services of Travelkhana was very much true. Timely delivery and quality of food are the most fascinating factors for me. The staff is also courteous and I could place the order easily with the help of their website. It is a perfect service that every traveller must use while being on the journey.

Pathetic service.

Last night, I travelled by Train number 12662 - Pothigai Expresss. I ordered dinner for my family of 8(including 2 kids + my senior citizen parents. My mother is a diabetic patient) to be delivered at Madurai Junction. The train stopped there for about 10 minutes. I got a message, 15 minutes prior to the arrival, that it was ready, and asked me to wait in my seat. I called up the customer care as soon as it was more than 2 minutes of stoppage in the station, as the person never arrived. The customer care Rep said, there is a huge rush, and so the person has boarded the train, and will deliver the food in sometime, and will definitely come. However, the nobody came even after the train started. I again called the customer care - again the same response, that the person has boarded, and will definitely give me food. It was almost 20 minutes after the train departed Madurai, nobody came with my food. I immediately called up the customer care. Mr. Manmohan said he will check with the vendor and get back to me in 5 minutes. However, nobody called up. I again called them at around 21.45, almost 30 minutes after the train departed Madurai Junction. The same person - Mr. Manmohan said the "The vendor is not responding, and they cannot provide my food, and asked me arrange food from elsewhere, and they cannot do anything else." I got wild and I blasted them. It was almost 10 PM at night. I had several other vendor in Madurai and before, and virtually nobody after Madurai, and it was 10 PM. Had they informed me earlier, I would have ordered earlier, but thanks to them, my entire family had to starve that night. Further, I had 8 people in my family, including 2 kids and parents. Finally at Dindigul, I had to scavenge some horrible 5 rotis, which was hardly edible, and we had to literally starve. The biggest irony was - Travel Khana did not even apologise for this, and their standard response was - "PLEASE ARRANGE FROM ANOTHER PLACE. I DON'T UNDERSTAND - HOW I COULD ORDER THAT AT 10 PM IN THE NIGHT, AND FOR MY ENTIRE FAMILY OF 8.". Horrible vendor and caterer. Never order with TravelKhana. My entire family had to starve yesterday night, thanks to them.

Travel khana providea the best quality food at your seat. You don't even have to take a rush for food. It will be delivered to you in time and right on your place. It's really good experience.

I had ordered a Thali on my journey from Kolkata to Delhi and they were supposed to deliver the order in Prayagraj but no one came to deliver the order and that was a prepaid order so i wanted the refund.
There customer support is pathetic as it's been more than a month since i am following up and lodging complaints regarding the refund. When you dial the customer support numbers everyone will say this is not the concerned department and nobody gives you the correct number too, they will ask you to lodge the complain through mail or their website but nobody responds even after doing that.
I will never order again from travelkhana after this kind of response.

These guys deliver the worst quality of food you ever see in your life.

I have seen many poor reviews on the basis of non delivery. But try me guys you got lucky if the food was not delivered because the delivered food was the worst ever food I have seen in my life.
Chapaties were dry and hard and full of floor powder. Rice was like plastic. The paneer gravy was tomato syrup wich was uncooked and rest of the things was full of water.
It's better you order food from train pantry they are serving really good food.
Never order from tasty khana, you will definitely fall sick once you eat the food served by tasty khana.

I ORDERED THE FOOD WITH ID 1834225 FOR MY OLD AGED RELATIVES SO THAT IT IS CONVENIENT TO THEM . BUT THEIR PROBLEM DOUBLE FOLDED. THE FOOD WAS NOT DELIVERED. I KEPT ON TALKING TO THE CUSTOMER SUPPORT TEAM. THEY WERE ALSO STRESSED IN FINDING THE DELIVERY BOY.
IN SHORT THE FOOD WAS NOT DELIVERED TO MY AGED RELATIVES AND THEY ARE HUNTING FOR FOOD IN THE MIDDLE OF NIGHT.

Thank God for Travelkhana though. The one simple way to get what I want while I m on the move.

Very bad food. We ordered food 7 veg Thali . The photo showing on website is totally different. Food was pathetic and same thali was sold by vendors on platform at 100 rs for which they charged 188 rs. Even that food was cold. And pathetic. Never order .
Worst experience.

Pathetic food! Have ordered twice from them at Igatpuri station. Both the times my experience of the food has been extremely bad. Very less quantity, the food was cold (doesn't seem fresh), the chicken tasted bad too. The only good thing that the delivery was prompt. About the service, they don't even give disposable spoons, tissues. So overall, it's been a poor experience!

Miserable experience with Travel Khana. They not only disregarded tye order by not delivering food to us while I was traveling with children , but also refused to adjust for accommodating it in upcoming stations that would come before 11pm. The calling guys have no clue about delivery guys and are randomly giving status and suggestions of arranging food yourself when delivery guy didn't reach despite train being 10 mins late in departing. Was surprised to see the audacity of the guys to suggest me to stop making any furth t attempts for upcoming stations when I told him I have small kids travellingwith me and they will be uncomfortable because of their delivery guy failing to deliver food to us despite ordering an hour or earlier . Was truly a nightmare!! They first need to put their Operations Issues in place and put a GPS tracker or accessibility to delivery guys and then start accepting orders. !!

A week ago I ordered online food from Travelkhana while travelling by train. The food served was very tasty and delicious and moreover proper packed.
Meal was tasty and fresh - I tasted it and feel like I am eating it at home. Hand soft to you gyus. Great job!

Pathetic experience , I ordered for my parents and since train did not had pantry, my parents had to travel without food. They could not deliver the food, and on the top of that first they said the food is already in the train and then they started dissconnecting calls. Don't ever go for it !!

My TravelKhana order ID#1632942 on 12/08/2018.
I was promised that food will be delivered at seat. We as a customer believe that it would be done, but this order never reached to me.

I felt trapped as left with no other options in late night hours.

Next day I made a complain but instead of prompt action I was sent with a preset reply, which I never expected from a reputed e-Com service provider like Travelkhana.

Based on my personal experience I suggest that this portal is not fully trustworthy. So better have plan B along. It is pathetic service.

I am totally satisfied with their work worthy for money best place for tasty and healthy food just like home made i recommend travel khana

The decided menu they are nt given to me...also quntity to much less...in their food container.....and very bad packing.....they are given me fraud service.....

It is fully useless thing , if you a re not interested to deliver the food then why do you take orders.we are in faith that we will have food but not received any.And when you call their call center ,those stupid employees are there sitting to say sorry only...what is use of this kind of service..

food quality at daund stations while going from pune to nagpur was awesome... Just thing is, it costed Rs150 which looks costlier... considering there is no cost for hotel or something... But anyways, after looking at unhealthy & tasteless food at train, the outside food provider quality & taste was really as good as eating somewhere in Pune downtown restaurant.

Avoid ordering through travelkhaana. The quality of food is poor and below consumable level. Cost is on higher end but preparation is poor . Order I'd was 1748748.

I have ordered food using travelkhaana and found that it is making people a big fools. Then nicely send all the communications by SMS and when actual station comes, they will not call us. They have not sent the food 2 times for me and if we call back them, there will not be a proper response. So if you are planning with travelkhaana, set your backups too.

Worst food services! Order No. 667161 delivered at Kholapur was the worst food that I saw in my life for Rs. 220.00. The Chicken Thali had 3 rotis with smallest chicken piece and with raita and RICE WAS ABSENT. This Thali got served from Amar restaurant at kholapur.

I had logged an official complaint for which an autoresponse arrived. But the team still are missing to respond.

It seems like a racket for operating the 50 rupees dish when delivered at Rupees 220.

I will term them as scamsters who posses excellent advertising campaign to attract people.

I used Travel Khana services many a times and always pleased & impressed from the service they provide. The most important thing is that they bring technology, train and food together. They fulfill my need for food by their food choices. Now I get rid out from eating unhygienic food available on platforms. I want to give a big thanks to travel khana through this write up.

Ordered food for my parents travelling on 21st nov 19 the food was scheduled to b served at 8 30pm at kanpur rly station.my order id was 2193988 it was a prepaid order.but to my utter surprise order never got delivered.and the fon num provided is also fake no one ever answers your call.my money went wasted.this was my first n last rail food online order now.pathetic experience.not recommended at all.

Service is good and they did everything like professional, taste ok, but the serving size for the given price was very less. 200 rs thali could not serve an average person completely.

Awesome Experience. I must say this app is very useful. Travelkhana provide me first meal free of cost. I got dal Makhni, shahi paneer, butter naan with rayta and papad. Food delivery was on time. Healthy and delicious food. Very useful app.

I was travelling from LLT to Wardha, I ordered lunch from Kalyan. I ordered and paid online for 1 Veg Biryani and 1 Veg Fried Rice. When I received the order, both of the boxes had veg Fried rice.
