Overall, my experience was great. The office was clean and professional. The receptionist greeted me and offered water. My recruiter was on time with my appointment, and was respectful of my time constraint. He made sure that he had a full understanding of my past experience so that he can find a company and position that I would fit into comfortably. The administrative assistant followed up with an email after my appointment to ensure I was satisfied with their services.

I've only had one meeting with Transition Staffing Group, but what a refreshing and affirming experience it was! It's been 25 years since I last looked for employment and the most striking change I've seen is the lack of respect for job seekers. There are very, very few recruiters who make personal contact, take time, learn about the candidate and show an interest. Transition Staffing Group does all of that with a friendly, and even more importantly, a really smart staff who sees a person....not just more "fresh meat" to throw into the marketplace.

The majority of recruiters, both in the recruiting industry and corporate, use the explosion of applicants due to online job posting and applications as an excuse to justify what is in reality just really bad administration of the recruiting process. Transition Staffing Group has refused to accept that volume means sacrificing quality. They've found a way to thrive in a changed world using a process exhibiting the highest integrity.

TSG was my first ever experience with a placing agency and I don't normally submit reviews, but it was absolutely an experience worth reviewing! The entire team was super friendly and made me feel comfortable, as well as confident, almost immediately. They express a genuine interest and commitment to placing their clients in a job which best suits their desires and previous employment experiences. CHRISTY, who manages TSG from the Front Desk is pleasant, helpful, and immediately returned my initial phone call within ten minutes, getting me in touch with one of their placing agents-talk about fast, friendly service! She has been wonderful to work with since and the agent she got me connected to that very same day was MARCUS who is absolutely awesome! He took the time to sit down with me the very next afternoon after a brief conversation on the phone and reviewing my resume, saying that he believed he had an opening which would be perfect for my situation, previous employment experiences, and personality- he truly made it a personalized, exciting experience. We met on Friday to discuss the opening, he gave me the weekend to work on updating my resume (which he offered guidance on), as well as provided me with a detailed description of the job and a study guide with key questions to ask during my interview which he was able to get for me on Tuesday, only two business days after our meeting together! MARCUS is so responsiveness and encouraging, besides being helpful- he took time out of his busy schedule to email/call me multiple times a day. If it weren't for him, I wouldn't have secured the job, which I did the same day of my interview-thanks to his thoughtful assistance and notable responsiveness. In less than a week, I was able to secure a position which I absolutely love, in a professional field I never imagined myself working in and that was all thanks to MARCUS, as well as the rest of his team including CHRSTY, as well as JEFF, who I met briefly but am so glad I did because he left a wonderful impression as well and was instrumental in me getting the job I now have. Even after my employment which I am very happy with, I will certainly be keeping in touch with MARCUS who said that any time I want I can call him for advice, to bounce ideas off of, or to discuss professional negotiations down the road. I have worked primarily with staffing agencies for the majority of my professional career, with a variety of outcomes. My experience with Transition will top the list of the easiest, most relaxing experiences I have ever had professionally. After several attempts to contact a recruiter, when most wouldn t even acknowledge receipt of my e-mails/phone calls or in some cases just call to find out if I m interested in a specific position, I received a response from Steve who immediately offered a face to face meeting. At his office, he took the time to thoroughly review my resume, learn about my background, skills and expectations and provided invaluable advice. One day later he had arranged an interview for me with one of his clients and he s been so kind and professional to call me to follow up. TSG contacted me last week and I talked with John. John asked about my background and what kind of work I'm trying to find, and then he sent my resume to multiple professional companies looking for my level of experience. Yesterday John pulled together my first interview, and before-hand we got together and prepped for it. This has not cost me anything by the way. The whole process with TSG has been extremely helpful in my job search.

I worked with Marcus Curiel, and he was the most supportive, professional, and insightful recruiter I could have ever asked for. I was in a month's-long search for a job, and I wasn't the easiest paralegal candidate to present, as I was from out of state. He stuck with me every step of the way, and thought of creative solutions to overcome some of the hurdles in my way and gaps in my resume.
There were times he spent upwards of 30 minutes on the phone with me, discussing and weighing options and opportunities. He was always upbeat, positive, and encouraging, even when I couldn't be.
At one point, I was so desperate (after taking a miserable job trying to sell life insurance), that I called him, practically in tears, and begged him to find me any work at all. He went through his jobs and found one that didn't exactly seem like a great fit at first, but as it turned out, it was an incredible opportunity. After my interview, which had gone very, very well, he talked to me about taking advantage of that enthusiasm on boht sides. He called the firm and told them I would give up the interview I had scheduled later in the week if they would come up in salarly. I truly didn't believe it would work, but Marcus did his magic, got me the job, and got the salary increased considerably.
I coluld not believe it! He took the time to cheer with me on the phone and then explain next steps,and then cheered with me some more.
Marcus thinks outside the box, and treats every client like they are his top priority. There was never a time when I felt he had given up on me, even when I had given up on myself.
He is a true professional, and he is quite young. I cannot imagine the incredible trajectory his own career will take. His talent and skill with people and companies are going to take him far in the recruiting field, or any other field he chooses
I could go on and on about how great he is, but if you are looking for someone to truly be on your team in helping you find a job or change your career path, Marcus is your man. I appreciate his efforts so much, and even if they hadn't paid off, I knew how hard he was working on my behalf.
