These are kind people setting out to do a good think with class and creativity in one of the most dynamic neighborhoods in town. Husband and wife team put a lot of love in their creations. Their debut hot chocolate festival flavours were equal parts rich and delicate. Choice!
Always a positive experience coming here. The owners take a lot of pride in their business and it really shows. Food and service is always top notch. Everything I've eaten here has been great. One of my go-to's in Van to bring friends / visitors.

One of the best cafes in town. Casual yet polished atmosphere. To-die-for cake and dessert selection all made in house. Really good sandwiches and coffee, too. Just fantastic all around. Expect a Saturday line up, worth the wait.
Excellent coffee, amazingly huge slices of cake, it doesn t get better than that. Queues are long at the weekend but that is to be expected on Main Street for sure. One of my favourite places in Vancouver and the staff are super helpful.
They make all of the bread in house what more do I need to say? Fine I'll say more, the cakes are so darn good they make a non cake eating man like myself end up with a beard full of frosting. They are perfectly crafted sweets that satisfy the eye and palate without ever coming off too sweet! The sandwiches are all outstanding. Keep being amazing Trafiq!
This place is the best making the most soft and flavoured pastries in all vancouver. At Trafiq, you can enjoy quality ingredients, perfect balanced flavours and the best part: big portions! I was here on January 11th for a cake fix and my visit was fantastic. I've tried a slice of Trafiq's cake before so I knew this place is worth it.
I had Chocolate Earl Grey cake ($6.95) and Americano ($2.60) they were delicious. My cake was rich chocolatey and smooth, but a bit too sweet for me though. I wish it was less sweeter because I found it too sweet in the end. The slice was big in my personal opinion. I know I'd feel very guilty having the same slice of cake again (even for those who are calorie conscious or like something savoury) ;however they make good cakes in my personal opinion. Service was fast. Trafiq is a great place for a dessert fix.

Friendly staff, amazing coffee, great atmosphere and baby friendly :) The sandwiches and treats are delicious and the vibe is awesome. My husband introduced me to this place about 2 years ago, we became obsessed for a while and if we could we we would be there every day!

A young blonde lady told me to come any day in the early morning to get the salted caramel caramel cake. Surprisingly, same lady was there in the morning and She told me to come in the afternoon because they haven t unboxed yet!!!!!!

Trafiq is the place to take yourself when you need a break from the general madness or you just want a delightful treat. This just maybe the best bakery in the lower mainland. I love their lattes and the fact that you can get a Mocha with either milk chocolate or dark chocolate. Their cakes are made with a special combination of magic a love. The Tiramisu cake is my favorite.
Coffee was smooth and creamy. The schnecken was very yummy warmed up. Great, speedy service.

Tried 2 mini cakes ($2.25): Matcha opera and triple chocolate. The matcha was very dry and still slightly frozen, would not recommend even if fully thawed. Triple chocolate was, in contrast, delightful, with white, milk and dark chocolate fudge/ganache layers.
Might come back to try more chocolate ones but wouldn't try the really cakey ones.

I recently ordered a cake from Trafiq for my wife's Birthday. The Cake was amazing and everyone enjoyed it, most importantly my wife did. We had the Salted Caramel Cake.
Picking up the cake was fairly smooth, given then COVID-19 issues. However, when I got home I realized that I hadn't asked whether or not the cake needed to be put in the fridge as it was sitting on a cake rack waiting for me to pick it up, granted during a specified time frame. In any respect I was unsure. I tried calling, no one answered, I searched their web page for an answer under the Cake I bought and under their FAQ page - No information. So I kept calling with the hopes that someone would just pick up as it wasn't very busy inside and I didn't get an email response, oh yes I also emailed the question.
Finally someone picked up. It was at this time my experience changed. The gentleman who answered the phone yelled at me that I had called 10 times. I told him I was trying to get an answer and no method was working. What am I supposed to do risk ruining a $45 Cake? He continued his bitter rant and told me "ALL OF OUR INFORMATION IS ON OUR WEB PAGE". I told him I had looked through the web page and didn't see anything. All in all a great cake was ruined by a horrible experience with either an employee or maybe the owner I have no idea, no name was provided.
So in the end, I will never go to this place again strictly on the basis of this brutal experience. I did write another email to them the same day this all happened however I never received a response. Since this was almost two weeks ago I don't expect to get a response. I would have given a better rating but Businesses need to understand that Customer Service is important, especially when you're charging a lot of money for a good product.

Came here for their decadent cakes. Priced currently at $6+ per slice or $35+ for the whole cake. Very fresh creams, excellent filling to cake ratio. Parking in the area can be tricky.

Cakes taste good, but terrible customer service. Can never call them and they take days to call back. They don't allow any customization on cakes, not even for allergies. When asking questions, they are not patient and say no to everything I ask. Prices are also very high and keeps going up too frequently. I've tried to be a loyal customer for years now despite their customer service issues, but after yet another 12% increase in prices I don't think I can stay a customer any longer.
Trafiq has some of the best cakes I've ever tasted, and I normally don't like cake. I highly recommend the Vanilla Salted Caramel if they have it.

I bought the earl gray cake yesterday and it was probably the second worst cake I ve ever tried. It was too sweet and tasted so bad! For the price they charge I didn t expect the Walmart quality cake!

Best cafe and bakery among I have been to. I have been to most of popular cafe in the states, South Korea and Japan. My wife is home baker who met with many popular pastry chef and I didn t think there is a bakery better than home made. But I was quite impressed with Trafiq croissant, sandwich and dessert cake. Parking is tough so be sure to find one on street. Small street is not for public parking. Only for residence. Looking forward to meet Trafiq in the states soon.

Super friendly staff. Their pastries and cakes are top notch. The earl grey cake is a family favourite. We tried the salted caramel cake for the first time today. We were worried it may be too sweet because you can smell the caramel in the car. But the flavour was just right!
After seeing @deannawoo constantly posting about trafiq's cakes on instagram, I decided to order the homage to earl grey cake for my birthday. It was soooo good, everyone asked me where it was from and I definitely will come back to trafiq for more! (the lemon lavender cake also sounds so good) Not to mention, the service was amazing and I loved the ambiance :)

Love the cakes here. They are all good but if I had to choose it'd be the chocolate decadence. Pastries and coffee are great also. Good amount of seating but they do get busy. They have a few tables outside as well. Staff are friendly. Family friendly. Large bathroom with a standing change table for baby is a plus.
We come here for lunch after visiting Westcoast kids. Great bread desserts and sandwiches! I'd come back for sure.

A hipster cafe that remembers what it was like before hipster was a thing. The croissant bread pudding banana loaf is definitely a must-try. Excellent coffee backed by a choice selection of desserts.

Came here because we were looking for a breakfast spot near my house and was not disappointed. We had lattes, breakfast quesadilla, avocado toast, and chocolate chip cookie... everything was delicious. Staff was friendly and the neighbourhood is a wonderful place to spend an afternoon. Definitely coming back soon and trying some of the cakes etc..
Amazing cakes! We tried their pear burlee and early grey cakes. Not too sweet and full of flavors. Staff was accommodating when I asked for a iced London fog. Good experience will be back to try their other cakes. Definitely reccommend.
If you re looking for cakes in Vancouver, the place that everyone talks about is Trafiq. Operating a cafe on bustling Main Street, they offer up a variety of sandwiches, cakes, and pastries.
Having never been to this place before, we dropped by in early December to get some sweet treats as well as lunch to go. They generally have a number of small 6-inch cakes available each day as well as slices of their 10-inch cakes but if you want to be sure, you should order ahead of time.
I wanted to try a bunch of their different cakes so we picked a selection of their mini cake squares.
But I couldn t leave without ordering a slice of their Chocolate Decadence. This is definitely meant for people who have a sweet tooth and love chocolate layers and layers of devil s food cake is separated with bitter-sweet chocolate mousse and then covered in dark chocolate ganache. I think I just got a cavity from looking at this picture.
For our lunch, we opted for the Ham and Swiss Croissant with a maple-dojon aioli and alfalfa sprouts. In addition, we added the California Club on Cranberry Pecan with roasted chicken, bacon, guacamole, sprouts, chipotle mayo and refried beans. I was a bit skeptical about the refried beans but they really worked in the sandwich.
Really solid sandwiches here and their cakes are super too. If you re not big into chocolate, try their carrot cake.

Trafiq was pretty good. We had the lavender lemon cake and it was tasty. They seem to have so many amazing desserts and I'd like to try more but I dont see myself going out of my way to come back.

I've come here a lot through the years. They have top quality food, the sandwiches and cakes are to die for! I highly recommend the california club sandwich. You must try them out. You won't be disappointed!
I really enjoyed their cakes here. I specifically enjoyed the salted caramel and red velvet cake. I had the chocolate ganache but it was too rich for me. But I am sure it will be a hit for chocolate lovers.
4 stars because the sponge cake tasted like betty crocker cake mix (vanilla flavour). Texture could be improved. They should also offer the writing on the cake for free of charge. From I can remember, they were selling "happy birthday" for $4.

It's a great bakery, there's no doubt about that. All of the staff has been friendly...with the exception of one person. I'm not sure if she is the owner or manager, but she might just be the most unpleasant person I've encountered. Every time I walk out I consider never going back because I don't want to deal with someone so incredibly rude. She's tall, blonde and wears glasses...and just can't be polite. I've been going there for years and I've never had an interaction with her that wasn't negative. She really ruins Trafiq for me, which is too bad.

Awesome place in the chic Main street area for some coffee and a nice bite. This visit was to purchase a 6" Lemon Lavender Birthday Cake. The cake was medium in terms of heaviness with sporadic light spots of yummy lemon tartness. A definate must try for those who loves lemon tarts.
This place has amazing cakes. They are fresh and so tasty. One slice is big enough to share between 2-3 people. Their sandwiches are really good as well. Its very busy so there's a bit of line up.

Great Sandwiches, Carrot Cakes to die for. There is a Matcha Green Tea Pie that's so intensely flavoured you'd think it was from Japan. Fantastic and helpful service with a smile.
