Great lattes, coffees, dessert, and friendly service! Their sandwiches are also delicious, with housemade bread and fresh ingredients. There's something for everyone, and it's all very reasonably priced!

Delicious cakes - we tried Zen and Earl Grey and they were super delicious, layers are light and fillings were fluffy, not overly sweet, perfectly paired with delicious cappuccinos. Kids had lemon square, chocolate chair mini and creamy carrot cake square and hot chocolate and those were good. I found the hot chocolate to be a bit overly sweet. Fast service, reasonable prices. Place is quite popular, so be prepared for the line up for order and possibly wait for the table to sit. Staff is friendly and very customer oriented. Overall great experience. We will be back for sure.

We tried the Hot Chocolate Festival offerings and were very impressed. The cheesecake that accompanied my drink was amongst the best I've had, just rich enough without being overwhelming and super flavourful. Definitely want to come back and try their other cakes - the slices are a little intimidating in size, but we'll come prepared. They also have a sandwich menu that looks very interesting.

Also, for a place as busy as this one, I appreciated how kind and cheerful the staff were. :)

My second time eating here. Trafiq is a very popular lunch spot in Saturday s. I was so hungry I forgot to take a picture of my BEC on Focaccia which was delicious. Egg with bacon and a spicy tomato sauce. What really hits you when you arrive is the bakery treats. From giant slices of carrot cake, mini-cakes, cookies, and more. I tried a three choice tasting plate of the mini-cakes which were absolutely fabulous.

Amazing food and service. Friendly staff and yummy food at good prices. Bakery style food with custom sandwiches or 'prebuilt' awesome sandwiches. My favorite is the 'green goddess'. At busy times there is no seating so check for that.

Great cafe! It's a bit pricey and always crowded. But the waits aren't too bad, and the food is delish! I highly recommend the caramel hot chocolate when they have it. It tastes like liquid candy, and at the same time isn't too sweet.

I've tried the walnut coffee cake and the salted caramel cake, and both were amazing!

I actually tried (and loved) the salted caramel cake when my sister bought it for my niece's second birthday party, so I decided to bring it as a dessert to a celebratory dinner I had with some friends. My friend had no room in his fridge for the leftover cake, so I took it back home with me. (Not a problem for me! :) ) The next day, my friend texted me, telling me his wife and daughter had thought it was one of the best cakes they had ever had! They wanted to know where I had bought it from.

Happy to make a referral! :)

Update (Dec. 21, 2019): I've been meaning to add that the Lemon Lavender cake is superb as well--delicate flavors and a touch of sweetness. Mmm... Will be sharing this one with my friends this year.

Trafiq is a small street cafe on Main featuring sandwiches & soup, baked goods and espresso. You can get a bite, a sweet and coffee for less than $15 average. Very casual - order at the counter & then find a seat. I highly recommend it for a quick bite when cruising Main Street.

One of my favourite sandwiches is the Green Goddess ($9) - thick slabs of bread made on-site, chicken, guacamole, brie, sprouts. Other favourites are the quiche (any flavour) and the quesadillas. You can also get toast done sweet with jam or savoury, with things like avocado spread & feta (Aussie Toast). Yum!

I've never had a bad treat here. My kids love the Monkey Bread - which is fat, moist and has a bit of chocolate in it. There's a wide variety of choices here - about 8 different cakes, various cookies, eclairs, tarts, and brownies.

Seating is tight. It's very busy in here all times of day. There's space for maybe 40 people, kind of squished. There are a couple places where parties of 4 or more could sit, but mostly it's 2 tops. Kid friendly.

I ordered the Lemon Lavender and Red Velvet cake via Ubereats. I found a strand of hair on my Red Velvet. I was kinda grossed out and ruined my appetite. I suggest maybe to have the girls tie their hair up or wear hair nets to prevent this from happening again, especially given Covid right now, hygiene is important. Besides that, I love Red Velvet so I was excited to try Trafiq's new flavour. It wasn't up to my standards, I prefer a richer thicker cream cheese icing, but the Lemon Lavender was an interesting combo which I liked.
