Traders Hotels Review

Again, this would be my second time providing feedback about your employee at the lobby/concierge. Issue is the same with validating the parking ticket where your employee has shown no manners at all. I've been in and out of the parking every night (i only stayed for 3 nights) and I think some how your employee started getting tired/annoyed of validating my parking tickets but i don't think that should be an excuse to be rude. On my final night, he purposely took his sweet time validating the parking ticket and i think it took almost ~10 minutes just to do that, while the rest of my colleague and I were already tired and sleepy after night meetings. By the way, I validated my parking ticket the night before and only took him just a few minutes (if not less than a minute) to do it.

Not to mention, early that evening we took the hotel buggy to KLCC. One of my colleague forget his room key at the office and your employee was making such a rude remarks insisting that my colleague could not take the buggy. I find that so ridiculous. We ended up taking the buggy anyway but left with a cynical glare from your employee.

I stress this before, U believe the people is the true reflection of a hotel and I don't believe your employee do justice about that. We will be having a quarter meeting and planning to stay at Traders for easy commute. I might change my mind and find another options.

Breakfast varieties are superb!
Only thing, we did not get the connecting room we requested.

In my opinion, its a super nice hotel for business travelers but probably won't be so appealing to family with small kids as they would find it 'too formal' and not so much activity for the young guests.

Housekeeping is on another level here, clean rooms, comfortable bed, friendly and professional staff.

Traders is the best business or short stay hotel I have stayed in. It has great location, facilities and staff. My only gripe is that I am always asked for a security deposit at check in but they don't accept debit cards for this purpose. Other hotels will accept debit cards for deposits so please catch up Traders I am not getting a credit card just for your convenience.

Friendly. Great views of KLCC & Petronas Towers if you ask...go high from room selection! We were on 26th. Staff friendly. Tidy rooms, fab shower! Comfy beds

Solid biz hotel, great views of the tower, wonderful buffet breakfast. Make sure to ask for a room with a view of the towers, what a site to view at night. Hotel has very solid service and all the amenities a business traveler needs. And the hotel breakfast buffet was outstanding.

Really amazing hotel.. loved the stay.. brilliant view of PETRONAS towers

So comfy, quiet, clean and relaxing.

We did have 7 hours to kill before flight home and there isn't really anywhere relaxing to sit in the hotel as reception is a bit "open" and seats aren't the most comfortable.

Awesome rooms and great views of Twin towers from hotel room.
The buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner has several options and caters the needs of travellers from across the world.

Customer service could be improved by greetings, esp at the restaurant.

Overall experience is good, but one thing that might need to take note is the pillow. The pillow is too soft, dun feel comfortable with that.

the way security react for the guest using motorcycle very bad, no parking lot provided. management must not " double standard" those guest using motorcycle. In fact they pay same amount for the room rate and have a right to treat well by traders's staff.

From a noble hotel with modern rooms you really can not speak, the decor was very worn and it did not look well maintained. First we were offered a storage room as a deluxe room. After we complained, we were offered at a surcharge a supposedly much better room overlooking the twin towers. There, all the mirrors were slapped, the bathroom door hung out of the fishing and the windows were totally dirty from the outside. We did not have to pay the surcharge, but it was not a friendly experience.

I give a 4-star due to the problem with the key card usage in the elevator - I can't push my floor number after so many tries. Did not just happened to me, as I saw 2 different guests experienced the same thing.

Loving it! My favourite hotel. So comfy. Staff are friendly. Very clean. Bed is very comfortable. Love Traders Hotel so much. Feels like at home. Looking forward to my next stay again.

Very nice hotel. We stayed for six nights in a room overlooking Elton Tours. The room look very impressive. We found the rooms as in the pictures shown. The TOUR TOURS market and towers are very close and within walking distance of about 5 d. The staff are very friendly.

Very nice hotel. We stayed (couple) for 6 nights in a room with view of Twin Towers. The room was same as the pics. The view was very very nice. The people are friendly. The Twin Towers are in a walking distance.
I would definitely come to this hotel again in the future.

Excellent view to Petronas Twin Towers. And the hotel itself is very good designed. Staff is friendly and will be ready to help you with any question you have.

Excellent meal and helpful staff - a table with view to Patronas towers would move me to five stars

Lavatory not available on the ground floor causing inconvenience when accompanied by handicap or young children and elderly.
Booking was for 3 pax and suite room will be given an extra roll bed upon confirmation during check-in. Housekeeping came with a blanket extra pillow to place on existing sofa without the roll bed. Internal communication between staff should be clear.

Fine dining for dinner on level 6 was average. We requested to have a corner seat with a view. STaff explained it was reserved. We place our dinner around 8pm and left around 10pm. The hotel may consider to practice a holding period for 1/2 hour and release the reserve table if customer did not call to or is late.

Great hotel. Free buggy to klcc, where u can take the green line bus from klcc to bukit bintang for free.. Lots of folks from the middle east..

The room was very convenient.
Never seen such a view from our room, impressive room.
The food was excellend and the personal very friendly.
All together we had a great stay.

Below my expectations, the staycation room is not suitable if you have kid with stroller, the room is small. I told them that Im celebrating our wedding anniversary and they just set up the typical rose petal with the swan towel. I expect them to upgrade our room but not going to happen. Anyway the staff is nice and the hotel is just ok....

My partner and I had an amazing stay this Australian long weekend! Traders room service and food as well as the staff were impeccable.

Sky bar very nice night view , but the food so so only. Price reasonable.

Spotless clean, staff is superpolite. The gym is well equiped if, like I do, you fancy doing some exercise during your trips. My single complaint is a barren minifridge, just a couple of bottles of water and a rather spartan breakfast -no buffet. I guess I was spoiled in the two previous hotels I've been to during these past days... even with covid19!

Would I come back? Yes for the room and the staff, but not for the breakkies!

Not sure about the rest of the hotels, but Skybar.. is heaven!! Pricey but.. heaven!! Love the ambience. Chillin' by the pool, watching KL's night skyline! Music! Heaven!!

International buffet lunch at gobo chit chat, quite reasonable price, varieties of food and seafood is quite fresh

The buggy service to the klcc mall was great,
The service at the restaurant that I stopped for breakfast was below level, and the food was not good either.
The views of the Garden Deluxe View are excellent. Room size was reasonable, and bathroom was comfortable, too.
I just smelled a bit of sewage.

The easy choice for afforable price hotel nearby klcc

1 week stay for a conference next door at Convention Centre. Perfect location at KLCC! Well appointed and clean. Pool bar was a bit tacky and hot but great views. Good value - would stay here again.

The arrival lobby quite messy and we feel like unwelcome. Reception on level 5 but still nobody there to welcome and assist on our arrival. Overall check in process quite good and the receptionist quite helpful to locate us on the same floor. No buggy service time schedule for our reference. Swimming pool is not ready though it shall be opened at 6am. Overall, the hotel itself good but the services by their staff is poor.

Offer stunning view of Petronas Twin Tower from room. Variety buffet breakfast for guests.

You can see the twin towers cleanly and the price is reasonable. It is a recommended hotel for KL stay.

Close to the KLCC with a shuttle bus available for hotel guests, clean rooms, spacious with a view, good amenities and services overall. Would stay there again.

We stayed at the Traders 8 years ago and found it exceptional, you will be pleased to know that nothing has changed and our stay again was exceptional

I like the location of the hotel and the view in my room. Thats what worth the price only. The food is not so good. The rooms are very basic. The staff are not that friendly comparing to other hotels. They will try to get money out of you if you don't know.

This was an excellent hotel with a nice pool and a great location. Apart from the misunderstanding at check-in, our stay was very good and especially the use of the lounge facilities on level 32.
Particular mention to Vincent who was extremely professional, polite and courteous and who helped sort out our accommodation.

Fantastic hotel in a great location. The staff are all so helpful and friendly and the views from the exec lounge are fantastic. A great stay for our Honeymoon. We would definitely recommend it.

View from hotel room facing Petronas Twin Towers. Stayed two (evening time only), while daytime out exploring KL. Not eligible to comment on my stay I think. Room and neighbors very quiet for good rest.

Well appointed rooms. Great views of famous Petronas Towers

Great pool indoor pool. Swam everyday. Housekeeping did a good job and room was always ready after lunch. Apples in the room and in corridor. What more do you need after a swim and the gym.
The running track in the KLCC park right next to the hotel was fantastic. Nice and cool under the shade of the trees.
Next to KL convention center so quick walk to meetings.

Having our staycation for 3d 2n. Got free upgrade to KLCC view, complimentary from hotel as our anniversary is around the corner. Nice staff, nice hotel, nice food also. Going to repeat next time

Very strategic location, amazing hospitality. But it's just weird that we have to check-in the mysejaterah app everytime we come back from outside. Can't they trace us with our booking check-in information. Or does it mean that they are not going to trace us if there's any need if we stay in the hotel for the entire day without going out

I would like to recommend Ezra for an award he went above and beyond to accomodate my Vegetarian needs

Celebrated my 29th birthday here. Very beautiful view at night.

Nice and comfortable room with the stunning view of the twin towers in the proper looking distance - not too close so you could view the full height of the towers. Best thing is I checked in late night already, and my flight next day was in the evening. So I asked if I would be able to enjoy the club lounge and the facilities a bit in the afternoon after I check out. My request was willingly accepted, the staff told me I could even take a bath before I leave the hotel if I wish. I was really pleased. Excellent service!!

Probably the best place to live in KL if you are not on budget...they provide shuttle to klcc park for tenants...staff is very friendly...you will have less options to eat if you are a vegetarian....however area around the hotel offers great views...hotel is just a walking distance from all the important place of attractions....

Amazing breakfast buffet and superb rooms - highly recommended.

Normally over the years of my stay (more than a decade), first time I am not giving 5stars for following two reasons : (1) Always the breakfast buffet spread makes me feel like getting back to Traders but during this day I was thoroughly disappointed - as Indian spread that were displayed on all the 5 days were more of lunch/dinner spread not suited for breakfast. I had a talk with Chef Dev to point out this error. There were no Idlis or sting hoppers, which are more breakfast items, instead it were all curries with rice N nan bread. Also missing were the middle eastern section. I strongly recommend a rethink over this please. (2) While checking in, my Credit Card was blocked for an amount and after two days I was surprised to get a message to my room that I have not deposited any amount for my stay. I used my debit card to pay off 5 days room rent straightaway but hours later, when I produced the credit card charge slip to front desk, they were amazed at it. The system neither showed any such charge occured. Till this day I did not receive any email clarification on this, which was promised to me at the time of check out. To my relief, I see from my credit card statement that the same has not been blocked. I feel this is certainly an error on the part of the front desk (eventhough it has not been charged or blocked to my account), which only reflects a very un-professional approach from such a reputed Hotel. I hope these things are avoided in future. Otherwise nothing much to say in terms of comfort at the Hotel, which I always enjoy and surely will be back.
But an email indicating about the error by the front desk, would have been a healing touch.
