I really appreciate the work Thomas Soveg and team did on my RAV 4. He got my car turned around quicker than expected and was overall very professional and helpful. Also a huge shoutout to the guy who works inside - I bought a charger that didn't fit my phone, and he cared enough to call me after he heard it didn't work to offer me a refund. How awesome is that?

Yesvin Castaneda at Santa Monica Toyota is always making feel like my needs are a priority even when the dealership is busy. Yesvin is always on top of everything when I bring my car in for a service, a tire change, or just a general question. If you or your Toyota need anything, Yesvin is the guy to call. Every time I go in I make sure I ask for Yesvin.
The service adviser, Chris Rinker was attentive to my complains and concerns. When he was not able to provide information, he provided an opportunity to speak to technician specialist. I did not like that this particular dealership does not give you choices regarding rentals during maintenance, you are pretty much on your own. Despite everyone polite demeanor, my issues were not resolved. Few months ago I was told by a service foreman that the navigation software update/upgrade will be available. During the appointment I was told that it was not. I experienced a lot of problems with my navigation and it was not resolved. I advised the service department that I would complain to the regional office. Mr. Rinker provided me with requested information.
Wonderful experience here recently. Ray Ramirez was my specialist and he helped get me what I was looking for while making the process painless. I am so happy with my new car and will always work with Ray who goes above and beyond to make his customers happy.
I love this place. They are very expedient, helpful, and the bathroom code is easy. Joanna is great. I leave my car there, and walk around Santa Monica. Don't just get your car serviced, there, make a day-trip out of it. I highly recommend the turkey and egg muffin at Philz Coffee, and a glass of orange juice, on Santa Monica Boulevard. Blessings, Brian
I've had many less than stellar experiences in buying/leases cars, but honestly, with Diana Loncar on 7/4/14, it was my best. We were both direct in terms of what were viable options and it was the most smooth and straightforward experience I've had at a dealership. She followed up with me a handful of times after I received my new car to ensure that everything was finalized to my satisfaction. Highly recommend you go see her should you need a new Toyota.
Toyota Santa Monica probably has the best dealer experience in town. Buying cars shouldn't be stressful and they get it! Everyone was incredibly welcoming and chill throughout the buying process: Negotiating was a bliss! So much that after visiting them we did not care to hear from any other dealers. Thank you Alaint Oliva for being so helpful, fun and patient with me and my family during the purchase. I definitely look forward to working with you and your team in the future!
I had an excellent experience at Santa Monica Toyota. I worked with Dino and I really appreciated his no pressure approach. He did his best to help me find the right car at a payment that fit my budget. I had a number of appointments with him and he was always punctual and quick to return my phonecalls. Once the deal was signed, he continued to treat me like royalty, both showing me how to use my car and even finding a pair of keys I'd left in the car I traded in to return to me. In addition to Dino, I give 5 stars to Hector the finance manager. The guy is quick, efficient, clear, no BS.
I recently lease a brand new 2016 Toyota Corolla S Plus from Toyota Santa Monica. Kamiran Beck took me out for a test drive twice to make sure I liked driving the car before I made up my mind. This was my first car and Kamiran was very helpful and understood that I didn't have much experience with this.
He told me about all the possible buying and leasing options I had. He was very knowledgeable about the schemes that Toyota were currently offering and gave me a lot of information on the excellent services provided by Toyota like free maintenance for two years and emergency services.
Since I was a recent grad, he helped me in getting a $750 discount on the price of the car. Also, he made sure that the monthly installments on my new car were within my budget. I felt really happy that I was able to afford a car so soon so fresh out of college.
I would definitely recommend Kamiran Beck and Toyota Santa Monica to others who would like to buy a great car at an affordable price. Their services are excellent.
I'll always bring my Toyota for service to this dealership. They are 100% honest and reliable. I appreciate that I can: *schedule appointments online *am greeted professionally by their service team (Nelson is wonderful!) *free Lyft ride back home *updates via text messages, so I always know what's being done on my car - and - know when I can come pick it up. *free coffee and donuts in a super comfortable waiting area *free Wifi *always effortless check outs
I purchased a beautiful car at Toyota Santa Monica, where Justin there along with several other gentleman were very professional in assisting me. I would highly recommend buying a car at this location.
This place is awsome. All the staffs are nice and treat customers very politely. I have a great experience with Luis and Bijan. Thank you for your support guys. I aprreciated your effort. !
My service experience was great up until the time I had to collect my car and sign the paperwork for a $0.00 charge work order. Waited in line while the lady worked on a car rental customer and no one else showed up at the desk for 15 minutes. Customer's time is valuable too and once the work is completed we need to move on with our business day and cannot wait for 15 minutes until someone else staffs the cashier counter.
My sales advisor, Diana Loncar told me she could get my out of my Camry and into a new Prius in two hours. I arrived on a Saturday at 10AM and drove away with that new car smell at Noon. I got the deal I asked for, the terms and no haggling. She also told me about many little short cuts and updates to the navigation and voice commands that I wasn't aware of. All in all Diana made the experience easy and educational. Happy motoring.
I bought a new keyless remote on line and brought it to the dealership. I was quoted $155 to activate it. After waiting two hours I was told that the remote had been paired with another vehicle and that they were unable to do the activation without erasing the data that was previously on the remote that I purchased. To have that done they quoted me almost $500. I said "no thanks" and went to the service desk to pick up my paperwork. There was a charge of $155. I questioned the charge and they said they had to do the work regardless and I had to pay it. I paid the money and called the company I purchased the remote from. They gave me the name of a automotive key company in West LA and I contacted them. They did the whole thing for $95 including the erasing of the previous data on the new remote as well as the orignial one. I will never use this dealership again.
Aaron de Souza, at Toyota Santa Monica was great! Our family almost doubled in size with new canine family members so our GLK was way too small; we considered an Audi Q7 and the Toyota Sienna, but Aaron made our decision much easier. From the moment we met him at the dealership, he was open, friendly and eager to help us. Overall, we had a great experience. Fred Mir in finance was also a gem. Easiest car buying experience we ever had!
I had the pleasure of working with Manny Fernandez at Toyota Santa Monica. He was fantastic- friendly, professional and explained everything so well. I will definitely work with him again in the future and I highly recommend others do the same!
This morning I brought my Scion xD in for its 40k service. I am new to LA, so this was my first time to your dealership (but have only taken my car to Toyota service centers since purchasing it). Naturally, I looked for a dealership near me and scheduled an appointment. The person answering the phone to make my appointment was very polite and friendly so far so good!
When I arrived this morning, you were very busy. This can be seen two ways you are that good that EVERYONE comes to you, or you are going to be super slammed and things will fall through the cracks. By the end of the day, I felt like one of the things that fell through those cracks.
Aside from it taking a good 20 minutes or so from when I pulled up to when I was checked in (I didn t notice if there was a line for appointments vs drive-ups, if even the drive up had the same turnaround time, remind me why I should make an appointment for faster service???), the service rep was very friendly and helpful. The shuttle driver was also friendly and helpful.
Before I left this morning, I was told that my car would be ready about 4p, and that I would get a call an hour or two before hand to let me know the status. At 3:20 I called the service department to get an update on my car (at least one of us was paying attention to the clock), and was told my car was on schedule and would be ready by 4. When I arrived at the dealership after 4:30, I approached one of the service reps who pulled my file up on the computer and said that my car was, in fact, ready.
At the cashiers desk, there was some confusion with two bills until I pointed out that the second bill was for a Lexus, which is when I also noticed your files had my car listed as as xD (wouldn t the VIN or the big Toyota database that indicates its an xD have carried over?). I paid, was given a blue ticket to take to valet. Here is when the real fun began!
Today was a colder day, and by about 5p, its dark out, so it was a bit colder. And nothing makes a person feel like their business is appreciated like standing at a valet station for a couple minutes til someone finally comes to take your ticket and then never comes back. It is also very satisfying to watch half a dozen (literally six other customers) come join you in the darkness and all drive away before you while you still sit there waiting.
After five minutes I asked one runner what was taking so long. After another five minutes, I finally walked over to the guy who took my ticket initially and asked what the delay was. He said they weren t done with my car (it s now about 5:20 and over an hour from when I was told my car was done). After another couple minutes, my car finally arrives.
Now, most other Toyota dealerships I take my car to, they give it a quick wash before I get it back. Perhaps this doesn t happen here because of the drought I can get on board with that. I did, however, really love the oily shmutz that was dribbled on my windscreen (don t worry, drought or no, the gas station down the road from your service department had water and a squeegee you should look into a couple of these). Every other Toyota place I have been to also walk me to my vehicle, talk to me about what they found, where my tires and brakes and such are at, and give me a report with all this info. I guess I just get to GUESS what you guys did and where things stand with my car. Or maybe your staff just didn t want to STAND OUT IN THE DARK AND COOLING WEATHER longer than they had to.
So tell me, why should I come back to your dealership? Clearly you have more business than you can handle. Perhaps I will need to find a less popular service department that has time for those little finishing touches that I have come to appreciate and expect from that Toyota Care. Thanks for such a great first impression!!!
We had a very comfortable experience at Santa Monica Toyota with Mayer Cohan, your sales representative. He was extremely helpful, thorough, and interested in our needs. He explained things very well. Obviously he has a thorough knowledge of the Prius - its workings and advantages. In addition, he is still following through to make sure that we continue to learn the workings of this great car. We recommend this company and Mayer Cohan very highly.
Chris Rinker was exceptionally helpful. He was polite, courteous and delivered my car hours before he said it would be ready. I appreciate his personal service from intake to pick up. Thank you Chris! Stacy La Duke, loyal Toyota of SM customer for 10 years.
Michael Briseno is the most efficient and customer service oriented professional that I have come across at Toyota of Santa Monica. My most recent experience with him is the reason I will continue to choose and recommend TSM exclusively.
My salesman was Trung Tran. My finance manager was Chuck. Both provided me an excellent customer service. The entire dealership also was great. If they say the will call or follow up, they don't forget. They all work hard in this dealership. A+
Had a great experience with Trung Trang the Internet manager. He was knowledgable, friendly, creative, and a joy to work with in the purchase of our Avalon last month. Looking forward to working with him again as well as the lady who helped us with our loan
TL;DR - Shady, deceptive and false advertising dealer puts permaplate coating which costs no more than $30-40 to put on, on all of its cars that go into the lot and adds on $595 USD unexpected charge at the end, claiming there s no way to take it off, and they simply forgot to tell you when you were negotiating for a price. FYI PermaPlate is fancier wax, will last 2-3 months MAX does nothing for your car. Absolute unfair and deceptive methods by lack of disclosure upfront. The price you agree on is NOT the price you pay!
Furthermore, I ve literally called them probably over a dozen times in the past week and a half and every one up, down Joe, Henry, Camden, Cayllen, everyone keeps promising to send records of this vehicle and they claim to send screen shots of them sending it and they wrote notes to their supervisors. Nothing has happened. All a bunch of lies.
>>> First, the dealer was pretty unreasonable, I was willing to put down a deposit but they didn t want to hold the car more than 24 hours despite the fact that the knew we didn t live in Santa Monica. So in a mad rush, while still trying to get our deposit down and trying to meet the dealer s unreasonable demands of first not holding the car at all, and then taking a deposit at over HALF of the value of the car itself I found myself scrambling to buy a last minute one way ticket (over $200+) for the very next day at 7AM to fly down to LAX to get this car. Not only that, but we mobilized family & friends in the area to see who could be there to do pick up and help facilitate the transaction.
There was one particular line item after fees / we owe that was $595.00 and NO explanation whatsoever of what this was. After again calling repeatedly and trying to figure out what was going on here, and why there was this HUGE upcharge, it turns out they put something called PermaPlate on the car and FAILED to disclose to this to us despite having negotiated a final price. This seems SUPER deceitful and unfair because they claim they put this on ALL their cars on the lot and it goes on immediately. First, if this goes on all your cars, shouldn t you have disclosed it immediately up front or factored it into the price? Second, we never asked for this. What kind of dealer forces you into an option you do not get a chance to object to? Third we just negotiated lower for the failed touchscreen (an actual defect) and the price of this permaplate was significantly more than what they gave us back for the bad touchscreen, which arguably is actually a necessary functional item. Second, we negotiated for over seven hours, how come at no point did this come up? They made it seem like they were doing us such a huge favor because we objected to this added cost that they were willing to reduce it to $400. Again, I believe this is literally against consumer law protections to be doing unfair and deceptive ways to falsely advertise a car, negotiate a price, and suddenly add on something at the end.
Oh, and needless to say, I don t recommend Toyota of Santa Monica or any of the sales reps there because apparently we talked to them all and escalated to the sales manager and they were all shady and deceptive
Hollie Kaminsky helped me. She was the greatest. Efficient, organized and helpful. My experience couldn't have been better. Toyota SM is lucky to have her.
Don t believe their advertisement they will advertise one price and when we contact them they will say the advertisement is a mistake and they will offer a car at higher price I don t trust this dealership
Decided to check this dealer out about a week ago to look at some Tacoma s and had the pleasure of talking to Aaron DeSouza who showed me around. He was very informative of all the Tacoma trains and went out of his way to show me different prices with different models. All in all I ended up purchasing a new truck and couldn t thank Aaron enough for making the whole experience a smooth process.
I recently visited Toyota Santa Monica to get some long overdue maintenance for my vehicle. Phil Thai was my service representative and I could not ask for anything better. He provided outstanding service, excellent suggestions on what options I had as well as how each would affect the vehicle, a very friendly and courteous personality, and a technical expertise I was very thankful for as a layperson. I am very satisfied with the work done on the vehicle and will probably return to Toyota Santa Monica if I need any additional maintenance.
I never have a problem when I hand the truck key off to Eddie Sandoval. He knows how to have an appropriate conversation. He gives me meaningful information about my truck without using superiority. Overall, he is a pleasure to do business with and I recommend him to anyone stopping by Toyota in Santa Monica.
Poor service. Mechanics do not know anything. My Corolla 2017, I had to fix it in a private garage because the mechanic did not find the noise fault. And I would say what it was because it was obvious where I was. Never, I said, NEVER BUY THE COMBO MAINTENANCE. I bought the COMBO and used it only once for oil change and filter. When I went to use it a second time, I was informed that I had no right to anything else. Bought it right to use 3 times. The technical consultant who sold me lied to me. My car is 2017 and I just bought this COMBO because the warranty is over. I never come back to this dealership. I'm moving my car to another place. terrible service!
Needed something fast. Christopher Rinker helped me out right away. Explained what was what and I made a sensible decision. Late contacted me to pick it up at the time he said he would. No complaints. Great guy.
One day the "smart key" I was using mysteriously disappeared - I had it when I left a local park - but when I stopped for gas I could not locate it, nor would the car start (and no red icon indicating presence of a key). After a fruitless search and being rescued from being stranded by the delivery of my second key (grateful for boyfriend also) - I purchased a replacement key at Toyota Santa Monica the next day. But the service department was frustrated as well - because try as they might (over many hours and several trips), they were unable to complete the programming to enable the "smart key" function on my new - and remaining key. After several trips and numerous additional hours, Jeff Ross ran a scan that indicated the "lost" key was actually in the car and sent someone to help me basically tear the interior apart - whereupon I finally located the key (and will NEVER understand how it ended up in my archery quiver)! Their patience and persistence was amazing and is much appreciated - and they waived any extra charges beyond the purchase of a (now third) key and the initial programming. I will never hesitate turning to them in future.
Toyota of Santa Monica went out of their way to help me solve a problem with the electronic key fobs on my 2004 (almost 15 year old) Prius. After multiple tries with different batteries, they persevered until the problem was actually solved (a sticky / stuck button). Thomas and the crew really stepped up for this one!
Justin made buying my 2010 Corolla painless. The price was fair and he did all the legwork so I just needed to sign papers! He kept in contact with me during the financing process and was a pleasure.
Hamid Zabehi, Sales Associate addressed every question I had pertaining to me buying a hybrid car for the 1st time. I did my homework, but wanted to hear what the dealership had to say about the car. I finally decided to purchase from Toyota Santa Monica because of the great deal I received and the excellent customer service. Hamid followed up with me days after I drove my new car home! Also, Tony Garcia made the final steps in the finance department easy and assuring that I will not be disappointed in my decision to buy a Prius. Highly recommend Toyota Santa Monica.
Chris Rinker is an educated, lovely man who was direct, helpful, and knowledgeable. His expedient service gets a 10 out of 10 from me. He gave me options, texted me when the car was going to be done and when they finished.
Mr. Sandoval provided excellent service. Patient and good tempered, he worked hard to get the problems sorted out. There was a problem when the mechanics left some of the work undone (they forgot to fully reconnect the front bumper cover after doing some engine work). Mr. Sandoval worked swiftly to resolve the problem as quickly and pain-free as possible.
Eddie Sandoval was exceptional, above and beyond with his customer service. I felt very taken care of and cannot wait to bring my car back to him for service or an issue. Thank you!
I got my Toyota Prius from here. I bought it in July and it required negotiating with my sales person since May. Typical sales place, they can get you the price you want - but you need to work for it. I didn't budge or deal with their sales tactics. Hold your ground and you will win.
My wife and I have been customers of this Toyota since 2007. It's rare that I would go on any website and give a review but Joanna Morgan's tremendous customer service experience left me know choice. Joanna is always welcoming and extremely knowledgeable each time I work with her. She goes above and beyond to make sure I know exactly what I need and she makes sure that I'm well aware of all of my options. I highly recommend seeking her out if you have to bring in your car for service. Thomas
Had a terrific service experience with team at Toyota Santa Monica. The personable and helpful, Phi Thai helped me navigate getting emergency work done on a busy Saturday so I did not have to leave my car overnight. The initial calls to the department were also really helpful and informative. I was stuck in a part of town I did not know at all and I felt more confident handling my car's breakdown with their support.
My wife and I leased a new Toyota Mirai and Mayer was super helpful! He told us all about the car and even got packages together for us to apply for the CA rebate and DMV HOV sticker. I highly recommend using him. Also Hassan helped us with the finance side of things and he was great to sit with during the process. He is super funny and easy to work with. While the process of getting a new car can seem boring, these two made it an enjoyable experience
I've been going to this dealer for years now and even though we moved closer to Manhattan Beach I will continue to get my car serviced in Santa Monica as the customer service is so valuable! Jacob Aguirre & Chris Rinker are the best. So friendly, very professional and efficient. They go above and beyond every time! I highly recommend this service department.
The people are very courteous and service is quick and efficient. The car was ready before the promise time, and all was done fine. I was surprised that the final amount was noticeably more than what I expected. Also, even though I specified to the service writer that I had JUST put new tires on the vehicle, I was billed $50 to rotate the tires. New tires do NOT need rotation! When I explained that to him, his justification was that the brakes needed to be checked as part of the 60,000 mile service, and that the tires had to be pulled to do the inspection... seems to me that IF the tires needed to be pulled to check the brakes, that removal and replacement of the tires SHOULD be included in the detailed cost for the BRAKE SERVICE.... This frustration and (what I feel is unnecessary and unjustified) charge tainted an otherwise good experience.
Toyota of Santa Monica Service Department, is the best experience in the world, on my first car that was a Scion Tc Mr. Marlon Castillo help me 4 years taking care of my car, and then little Tacoma truck great service, great people, they will make sure I leave with a smile. thank you so much to Marlon Castillo, Joanna Morgan and Mike Gonsales, Toyota of Santa Monica have been taking care of my vehicles for 7 years. I will come back soon thank you
Excellent service & communication! We purchased a used Toyota Prius from an independent dealer and unfortunately ended up for paying for repairs on the A/C and the radiator. They were amazing, kept us in the loop with estimates, when the parts would arrive and kept the commitment on when the car would be ready. Excellent service. Thanks for making the car right!
Jacob Aguirre is an excellent service writer. He took his time to explain things. He helped me with an in-car phone setting that I wasn't sure about. He texted me when my car was ready.
I bought a Prius C. Arthur Collins and Truman de la Cruz were my salespeople. Arthur was great: knowledgeable, genuine, and helpful (even after I bought the car). Truman was a little too overbearing for my taste, and a few weeks later didn't even remember who I was. Service department (just a few minor requests) has been good. Reyes has been especially responsive, as has Phil and Johnny. I am due for my first service in April and am looking forward to a pleasant experience.
Trying to help my car serviced here. A gentleman named Tom took my information down. He was so rude that I end up decided on leaving. Really no way to do business like this.
Recently purchased a 2019 4Runner from Toyota Santa Monica. The car is amazing, of course, and the same can be said for the buying experience. No hassle, very professional group. Ask for Aaron Desouza. Aaron was great to work with, very patient and willing to work with my needs, and was also willing to squint in order to see the true value in my clunker of a trade-in :) ...Highly highly recommend you pay them a visit!
Excellent service!!! Mayer Kohan is great sales representative, he approached us at the parking lot while we were looking at cars, gladly explained everything and showed around... very knowledgeable. He is also a very nice person, and cares what you think. I didn't feel any pressure from him at all.
This makes the second vehicle I have leased from Tony Doyle over at Toyota of Santa Monica. I was treated with supreme care, and consideration with Tony guiding me through to a perfect ride, minding my specified budget, and feature particulars. I left today feeling yet again reassured there is for certain.. one honest, caring, upstanding salesmen out there, he is in Santa Monica and employed by Toyota of Santa Monica. A man of character, who explained everything, absolutely everything to me.. in detail.
Thomas Soveg took care of my concerns with professionalism and proficiency. It pleases me that he represents your company, giving me confidence to return as needs come up.
Service Advisor Mark Lewis did an outstanding job. He s very cordial, professional and, took care of my vehicle s needs. But, I was hesitated to review his dealership as a whole due to recent very unpleasant incident.
Sam Mull is the best. Always professional, friendly, considerate and helpful. I wouldn't have anyone but Sam Mull and his service team take care of my Toyota Camry. I hope he never leaves.
Exceptional service from Mark Lewis! Would trust him with servicing my car anytime. Also, liked that he answered my questions clearly and at length. Keep up the good work, Mark!
When we decided to lease a car, we knew it would be a Toyota. From the first moment I called for info, until the moment i signed the contract - I was treated like a king by Trung Tran! Such respect -such courtesy - all a customer could only imagine. He had tremendous patience with my husband and me all along the process. We leased a Camry LE which was delivered to our door the next morning. by Trung - with a personal tutorial delivered calmly and kindly. Thank you Trung - thank you Toyota!
I needed to get a new and didn't know anything about Prius when I wandered into Toyota of Santa Monica and met Hamid Zabehi. He took his time to show me the different cars and explained clearly the answers to all of my questions. I got a great deal and they even took my old car as a trade in!! Thank you Hamid!
Right fender lining came loose and was rubbing on the tire. Called Santa Monica Toyota to see if part was on hand. It was. Sam Mull in service made sure the part was reserved for me and met me later that morning. Said work should be completed within a few hours. And it was. And Sam was there to greet me when I picked up my car later that day.
Eric Orellana, was taking care this time of my service. He took something out of my order because I didn t needed it anymore. He also gave us a discount after the fact. Granted we had a high service invoice due to the 100000 miles on our truck. I have to add that all personal at Toyota was so far have been great. I will continue to do my service at Toyota Santa Monica.
Joanna Tsymbaliuk really took care of me. She listened to what I could and couldn't do with servicing the car. She made it clear what were the important issues and she called me back with information that could have been ignored, but she made sure I was well informed. Honestly, I left wishing that Joanna would be the person I could deal with every time I brought my car in. If that were the case, taking my car in for service would be fine experience.
I was ultimately happy with my experience at Toyota Santa Monica. The transaction, however, took longer than I felt it should have. Over the course of 4-5 days, there was a point at which it seemed they were not taking things seriously....that they did not believe we were serious about purchasing the car. I expressed this to them, and they seemed to change their tune. They gave me a rental for two days and finally had the car ready on the day promised.
This is the third Toyota dealersip I went to yesterday. Santa Monica saved the day. They were helpul and honest. We got a Prius C at a fair price. Other Toyota dealerships were insulting in their thievery, condisention, and attempts to pressure us to buy. They give car dealerships a bad name. This was not the case with Santa Monica. Start with them and buy a car!
Johanna is the bomb-dot-com. She took great care of me and my car, and worked with me to get the price down a bit. Ask her about the "secret Prius drawer." mind=blown.
Thomas Soveg was outstanding! Very prompt, courteous and informative. He even took the time to play with my dog. Very warm and personable. Really enjoyed my visit and Thomas made it that much more pleasant. Quick and easy and all around great service. Thanks again Thomas and Toyota Santa Monica. Exceeded my expectations yet again!
Saul Castro and Phil Walker have always been ready to help me quickly and efficiently. They are polite and professional. Most importantly, they are knowledgeable, straight-forward and honest. Further, they are reachable by phone to respond to any questions or concerns I have.
Alex and Joe in sales helped me out, I know they mean well and were very nice. I had a serious ongoing issue with the black out emblem package. The guy who got the paper work together and tried to sell me on the extra coverage was deceitful and admitted that he lied to me about providing a breakdown of coverage print out. It was a terrible last experience before driving off in my new car.
So the whole emblem package that was to be added onto my car was installed by 3rd party and I was under the impression that it was the factory black emblems, but came to find out after 2 rounds of errors that the 3rd party was just spray painting my original emblems. So after much back and forth I had them just deliver the factory black emblems to me and have a shop of my choice apply them to the vehicle. The first 3rd party improperly glued the emblems on, jeopardizing the paint on the vehicle and my shop was very hesitant to try and remove the super glue. Images attached of the glue were sent to me by the shop i had apply the factory ones. Absolute nightmare for months.
After going to several Toyota dealers, I decided to buy my Toyota Camry from Toyota Santa Monica for several reasons First and foremost, the sales person, Mayer Cohan, treated me respectfully and really listened to what features I wanted in a car. He followed up my visit with a call, being courteous the whole time and never pushy. He found a car that's just perfect and the price was very good. After I purchased the car, Hamid Zabehi went over all the features of the car. with me. He set up my Entune and synched my cell phone. He also was very knowledgeable and courteous. I also met the internet manager, Chuck Ueno. All of them urged me to call any of them if I had any questions. They were all there to help me. What a pleasure to get extraordinary customer service!
I have now taken my car to Santa Monica Toyota for maintenance twice. The service has always been good. This week, I was fortunate to get Thomas Soveg. First of all he was very friendly and professional. I felt he really wanted me to get the very best out of my car. I had been having trouble with my navigation system. He let me know that he wanted one of the technicians to look at the system and told me up front it would take longer than my regular maintenance. I agreed to leave my car for a longer time. He then kept me apprised of the progress of my car during the day. This enabled me to get other things done instead of sitting and waiting for my car. My software was updated and my navigation system is better. I really appreciate this type of excellent customer service. I've always had a Toyota and have gone to other dealers. This dealership shows they really want your business. My thanks again to Thomas Soveg.
