First and foremost, I d like to thank Jim Ellis on such a great business. The young lady, Victoria, on the service drive was very knowledgeable with my vehicle. She helped me reset my maintenance light, and explained to me when my next service is due, and what would be recommended. She then offered to take my vehicle thru the car wash, and when she returned, my car was SHINING! Not only was I happy it was clean, my tires were so slick and clean. What a great employee and personality on her! I can t thank Jim Ellis enough for finding stars like her. THANK YOU Jim Ellis on not only outstanding service, but AMAZING employees!

I'm happy with the certified pre-owned car I bought. I got a fair deal but not a great deal but I was ready to get a car and not spend days at other dealerships. They didn't pressure me about financing when I told them the interest rate I could get through my credit union. They knew they couldn't touch that.

What i didn't like is that they stick lo-jac on the CPO cars as soon as they come in the door and refuse to take it off. At first they tried to charge me way more than the lo-jac was worth. They didn't go over details of the warranty nor the features of the car. Of course they tried to sell me the extended warranty, which I declined. I got home and read the CPO warranty already covers much of what the extended warranty covered.

I had called before going to pick up the car and was told it would be ready. Got there and had to wait for paperwork to be printed. After 2 hours, I finally left with my car. My son notices that the car between the console and seats was not cleaned. It looked like someone had spilled a cola in the car. I had to get back to work so my son took it back to be cleaned. The salesman was extremely rude to him. The manager had to get involved. Took them two trips to the back to get the car cleaned.

I m not sure what the circumstances were, but I got hit with 12 hard inquiries after leaving here and guess what, no car. I wasn t really being told everything going on, it went from little credit to not enough income, but by the second decline from an entirely different bank, I would like to think they d give it a rest. I called back to ask, left a voicemail, and have yet to hear anything about why there s so many. I went to a Jeep dealer yesterday and was approved within 30 minutes on a NEW car. Even though the service was great, the fact that I have to deal with that on my credit ruined the experience. Please be more informative with your customers.

UPDATE:
So I called Toyota because a few of the banks suggested I call the dealership to find out what happened, I spoke to a manager but he didn t say his name. I told him about all the inquiries. He looked up my information and tried to tell me that they only ran me 9 times. (He said that like it wasn t an issue). He started counting them in a low voice and I could hear him go all the way up to 15. Said he didn t know what was going on, they only ran me 9, and had a sort of what s done is done attitude. For them to have this kind of attitude when I specifically told Tisa I wanted to TEST DRIVE and that they shouldn t have ran my credit in the first place, Is absurd. This dealership is horrible.

I just got new car from here and my experience was magnificent. I dealt with Leon, he is the top salesman here and he is great. He got me what I wanted, when I wanted, and how I wanted. The process wasn't long at all. Most dealerships, you're there all day, Leon finished the whole process in just 2 hours, if that. He is so upbeat, friendly, and willing to help you out as much as possible. My mother has been dealing with Leon for a decade and he is still the best salesman I know. If you go to this location, you HAVE to ask for Leon. He will take care of you, hands down. Thanks Leon!!

After visiting 2 other dealerships this day, not being able to get what I wanted, on my way home I stopped by Jim Ellis Mcdonough, Toyota and I was totally surprised from start to finish with my experience!! I have NEVER had a brand new car, but the new 2020 Camry XSE kept catching my eye on the road. I went here and they worked the deal up just the way I needed it to fit my finances, had the exact color, trim and features I needed. Along with lifetime free oil changes and tire rotation. The finance manager got me a cheaper interest rate with Toyota Financial than the one NFCU pre approved me for! My sales Rep, Javon Roseboro was ABSOLUTELY AWESOME!! He got me the deal I needed, went over ever feature my car has to offer, and even showed me how to set up remote start from my phone! Not to mention, he found me a Car Fox little stuffed fox to take home to my daughter I am so happy to be a new part of Jim Ellis Toyota Family!!

For a few years, I have taken my Lexus to Toyota of McDonough for oil changes and service. They always did a fantastic job, so I decided to try a Highlander. I intended to get another Lexus, but I had driven a Highlander in NC. Lucky for me, they paired me with salesman TIM SEEL. He was patient, informative, and very professional. He answered every question about the Highlander compared to my Lexus. Long story short, I love my new Highlander. TIM SEEL has taken time to explain all the technology features and other systems. No easy task, however, I haven't asked a question that TIM couldn't answer. GREAT JOB and I traded at home!!!

My point of contact has been Ms. Michelle Murphy (Service Advisor) she has proven to be a valued asset to Toyota of McDonough through her professionalism and product knowledge. She has demonstrated these traits from the question and concerns I have posed to her on a number of occasions. She is extremely dependable and conscientious . The service techs have always been very helpful. I'm treated like a valued customer, and they get my car taken care of in a timely manner. They even wash it ,what a wonderful surprise. It's always been a very good experience for me, and I feel that I can always trust them.

Victoria, in the service department was absolutely amazing at walking me through the process and explaining each step. She called once they ran the diagnostic test to say what what was found wrong with the car and was detailed in her explanation. She was very kind answering all of my questions. In my past experience I feel like OTHER mechanic shops take advantage of women not knowing as much under the hood as men and they tend to say things are wrong when they are not, just to make a more money. You know... taking advantage of the situation!! NOT at Toyota of McDonough. We were told it was one issue by another shop and Toyota of McDonough said no, it's this issue. This saved us over $1,000. Thank you to Victoria and her customer service and Thank you To Toyota of McDonough service department! I will definitely use them going forward.

PS... I bought my car from them as well back in 2014, this was the first time this car had any issues that needed to be taking into service. The sales people they had there at the time were just as AMAZING! Jamin Johnson was my salesman. Very patient and NOT pushy like some salespeople are known to be.
I will definitely continue to use Toyota of McDonough in the future and refer anyone I know who is looking to buy a vehicle or need great customer service!

I was unsure the first time I went to Jim Ellis, the salesmen out front didn t seem interested in helping me. But after going inside to the showroom, Susan, one of their saleswomen, approached me and walked me through the new Camry. I didn t buy on that trip, but a couple months later after some more research I went back, Susan 100% genuinely remembered me, and did a great job helping me buy my new Prius at a fantastic price. The finance department was less pushy than most, simply helpful.

He doesn't ever give excuses for anything, he only gives solutions. I've use their services since 2008 and not once have I had a bad experience with this dealer, keep in mind service personnel has changed over the years but their standards continue to improve which I'm proud of their integrity.

I am a first time car buyer and I drove down from Chattanooga, it was a 2 and a half hour drive. I told the salesman I found a nice used mustang GT for sale and was coming down to test drive it. The salesman I dealt with was Gerald Hopkins and he was super nice and friendly. He is a very professional salesman and was not your typical car salesman. He was not pushy or anything of that nature which made me feel very comfortable. Gerald is very easy to work with! He had the car ready for me when I arrived and even filled it up for me! He answered all my questions and made my first time car buying experience easy and go as smoothly as possible. I even got an email from him and his General Manager the next day! I am very impressed with the positivity and friendliness at this dealership. They are very customer oriented and seem to genuinely care about you! I would highly recommend this dealership!

I saw a new Toyota Camry online which I inquired about. Ashley Bradley the internet rep. was very helpful. I was told to bring in my current vehicle to get an appraisal done. Once I got there they sent me to a new sales rep. I was very straight forward about what I was willing to do financially. He entered my information into their data base incorrectly for my employer. He then went to the finance dept. got an offer to bring to me. That offer was not even remotely close to what I wanted. I understood the price of the car was higher than expected. I was then told there was nothing they could do for me. I told him I did NOT want anymore hits to my credit. 9 credit hits later & wrong information added to my credit report is what I am dealing with. I do not fault the salesman because he was obviously new. I felt the responsible parties should have straightened this out on my credit so I contacted the sales manager who did not really seem to care or even bother to call me back. This was one of the worst experiences I have ever had with a automobile dealership.

Mike's a knowledgable guy in all things Toyota, and he helps based on your needs, not his. Best experience I've had to date buying a car.

Dealership is set up for ease of use. Clean, friendly and full of great people. Closing deal with Finance people was super easy and Mike had set that up for speed and zero hassles before I got there on my second visit. I walked in for routine service on my day off, not sure that they could accommodate without an appointment. As always, I was greeted graciously by Stephanie Wolfe, who told me there would be a wait but they would service my vehicle. I was then greeted by another member of the team in the waiting area, offering refreshments and to answer any questions during my wait. The time was not nearly as long as I anticipated and, as usual, the service was performed to my satisfaction.

I purchased my RAV 4 in December 2014 and since then I have never had anything but EXCELLENT service at Toyota of McDonough. I would recommend this dealership to anyone shopping for a Toyota!
