I had a good experience at Toyota of McDonough and appreciated my salesman Charles Turin. Charles met me when I arrived and asked if there was a particular vehicle I would like to see. I really liked that at no time did Charles ever pressure me on anything. He instead asked me what I would like to see. Charles showed me and let me test drive multiple vehicles. I was interested in a hybrid, and not having a hybrid before, Charles was able to explain a lot of the differences between the hybrid and gasoline models. I ended up buying a hybrid that I had not considered, but due to Charles, I was pleased to purchase a 2017 Rav 4 hybrid limited. The vehicle is a surprise for my wife and Charles will deliver the Rav 4 on the 24th of December. Due to Charles, I had a great buying experience and I learned things about hybrids that I didn't know. Charles is an asset to Toyota of McDonough.

I walked in for an oil change and everyone was assisting customers except two gentleman huddled at the last desk to right once you enter the service area. They both looked up and noticed me standing, obviously waiting for help. They ignored me and continued to what seemed to be a personal conversation. Finally anotber gentleman walked in and immediately asked me if I had been helped. In addition, he noticed my gym bag and asked if I was going to the gym. When I answered yes he asked if someone was waiting to take me and I said no, I was requesting lyft. He then offered a shuttlee ride to the gymwhich exceeded my expectation especially considering poor customer service displayed by his co-workers earlier. The accommodation without cause made the experience a bit better.

Finance manager will always try to up sell you on an extended warranty. The sales guy was ok. But, he insisted that if I bought this car somewhere else cheaper. That the car most likely has flood damage. Their prices are definitely higher than other Toyota Dealerships. I also showed them an ad of the same year, model,make and similar mileage. The guy from finance could not and would not budge much. I did buy the car after a little haggling. But, I would not refer anyone here or purchase a future vehicle from MCDONOUGH TOYOTA.

This is my third visit to Jim Ellis Toyota of McDonough. My first two experiences were not good. Both times I left unsatisfied. Both times I dealt with a salesperson that was unprofessional . However on Monday September 7, 2020 I had a great time. After receiving a call from a manager Luis, I went in and the salesperson Shawnya Ramkisson was very patient and professional. I live here and I don t think I had to go to another dealer in another area to receive courteous service. Now I. Can say I would recommend friends and family to Jim Ellis Toyota of McDonough.
I had service performed on two recalls. Both were scheduled for the same day because it was felt all parts would be in house. However, when we arrived for the appointment only one recall could be fixed because some parts did not come in. It did cause us to have to reschedule the second recall fix. It would have been nice if we could have received a call allowing us to have both fixed in one visit...not two. Staff was courteous and helpful.

I have visited several times. This is an amazing dealership that has been recommended time and time again. One of the salesmen, Ahmad Ali, is fantastic. He really knows the ins and outs of everything. The dealership itself is wonderful, but employees like Ahmad really make the experience terrific. Had one of the worst experiences ever. I bought a 2006 Nissan Maxima from Toyota of McDonough and about 2 weeks later, the check engine light came on and it failed emissions test. Come to find out, the emission was never done on this car either. We all know emission is required in the state of Georgia before you can sell a vehicle. I had to get my own emissions done because I've never received any letter in the mail for my tag or any kind of proof that the emissions test was done. The issue turned out to be the check engine light was on because of transmission issues. I brought the vehicle up to the dealership and did not receive any valid help and they just held me to the side as if I wasn t an importance as a customer. I then was directed to the sales manager who immediately cut me off before I could even finish and sentence and directed me to the service manager. Who was obviously too busy until I believe was one of his coworkers told me to drive on it more to see if it improves. It was still running horribly so I emailed my salesman and he never responded either. I tried getting into contact with multiple people constantly over the phone due to my scheduled working hours and no one was helpful at all and was put on hold for over 20 minutes. DO NOT recommend buying a car from this dealership EVER AGAIN

i bought a TOYOTA Corolla from Jim Ellis at MC .Donough and I was treated like ROYALTY BY Mr LEON Poole. HE went beyond the call 0f duty to make my experience smooth.Even though I could not pick up the car on that day due to unforseen events. He delivered the car to me at my job the next day. He even went as far providing a car for me to go home with. So i give him 5 star reviews Medina.
I have been back to this dealership multiple times over the last 5 years to look at their cars and have received very poor (if any) service. Only the last time (April 27, 2014) that I went did anyone even come up to help me. The salesperson I spoke with was very unprofessional and insisted on arguing with me. The car that I was looking at was a 2007 Infiniti G35. The car had one flat tire and according to the tag in the window, it needed 2 tires, an oil change, and an alignment. According to the salesperson they were selling the car that way unless the buyer agreed to add the repairs onto the amount of their loan. He also insisted that no bank would finance a car that year, nor would they finance that vehicle with the number of miles on it (which had about 147k) and that it was a cash only car. He asked if we would like to see a manager, and as soon as we walked into the dealership he began another argument with me. I finally said (loud enough for all to hear, as most did look up) that they obviously did not want my business and that I was going to go elsewhere. Not a single person even attempted to come and talk to me about the problem or try to help me find a vehicle to purchase. The time before that, we could not even get a salesperson to help us. We went to the receptionist to ask for help and she was very unprofessional as well, acting as though we were inconveniencing her by even talking to her and telling us that they didn't have any salespeople on the lot who could help that day.
I had already been to Sons Honda (next door) with my mom last month and she financed a vehicle with roughly the same mileage and age on it and they were very nice and professional, so my wife and I decided to go over there. Anthony Lucas (one of the two salesmen who helped my mom) helped me to find a car. He was very professional and worked hard to address all of my concerns. Everyone from the salesmen (yes all of them), to the sales manager, finance manager, service manager... everyone involved were very courteous and patient with my wife and I the whole way and I couldn't be happier with my decision.
I had my 30K car maintenance and as usual the guys ( Charles ) and ladies at the cash register friendly as always. They take their time to address your issues. I never make an appointment and every time I went to drop the car they never refuse me nor put a bad face Go TOYOTA MCDONOUGH!!!!!

I had a very good experience with the service adviser (Charles). He got me to kept me smiling even when I paid a real premium for the work performed. Honey does work better than vinegar after all! I have been going to this dealership through several reincarnations and service was never consistently a good experience before. Charles and the cashier (Ms Wolfe?) have renewed my faith in honesty and service . Cautiously hoping that this was not just a fluke.

My husband and I went to this dealership today to check out a Camry and wanted to test drive it so we could compare it to a an Optima and Accord. We were very specific that we were not making any decisions today and just wanted to test drive the car. I had just left KIA before going here and had a very nice, relaxed and informative experience. From beginning to end at Toyota it was high pressure sales and totally uncomfortable. A lady was all over us before we could even park. After the test drive with a guy that didn't even know the product or warranty, the "owner of the event" (he reminded us he was the owner of the event at least three times) forced his high pressure tactics on us and became argumentative, over bearing and rude. My husband had to raise his voice and sternly tell the guy AGAIN we are not buying a car today and instead of shaking a hand and asking for follow up, HE JUST WALKED OFF! We are buying a car this week and unlike other buyers, have the cash down and have decent credit. He and the atmosphere of this whole event will be the reason we will not buy from here. If that dealership allows a team like that to come onto their lot and burn future business like that for the sake of numbers and sales then why should I trust them to take care of me when I am having car issues in the future and need them to listen to me and help me? I LOVED the car, that is what the 2 stars are for. However, to the actual owners of this dealership, sometimes it is about the culture of the dealership, how you treat the customers, LISTEN to them, how you make them feel. If you don't care about that, it does not matter how good your product is.

Susan Crawford who I meet the day of my oil change..I let her know I wanted to move up to SVU and didn't think I could..she told me she would look at a deal and try to help.. 07/08/2017 even though my credit was already pulled, i had to turn down the deal on a 2012 rav4 because when we were about to sign , the numbers was not what we discussed at the beginning. and they were pushing us to sign without even knowing what we were signing and it seems like every of our questions were turning into argument. be careful to sign anything before knowing the numbers because they will make you sign other docs as if the numbers(price) are not important to know before signing anything. shady , misleading during the whole process who took more than 4 hours although they was not that busy. i wish i had read the other review so i would have waste my whole afternoon there. this particular dealership is really bad at being transparent and making the process a breeze compare to world toyota or stone mountain toyota where i have purchased in the past a 08 scion, 2013 4runner , 2007 tacoma ,2011 sequoia , in between these two dealership

I had to put five stars on here because obviously the "Owner" cowardly replies to ONLY the reviews that offer up five stars and stroke his ego. As a graduate from Valdosta State University and majoring in business management and administration the first thing taught was to take care of the customers or clients that have had a bad experience. It is impossible to have 100% customer satisfaction even with ONE unhappy customer, but I suppose "Who needs 100% customer satisfaction when statistically only 65% of customers are approved for a "sign and drive - easy on the salesman and super easy on the company, no extra work, put them in a car and get them the *@!& out of here type of dealership." My story? My daughter went to Toyota of McDonough yesterday (9/20/18) to look for a new or newer car. The salesman took HER for a test drive, and then allowed her boyfriend (which by the way us NOT signing with her or helping in any way,) excited my daughter asks me to come with her back up there tomorrow (9/21/18) so that I could test drive the vehicle because she wanted her daddy's opinion. She told the salesman that she also wanted to look at a car at Carmax, but she wanted me to test drive that particular car because she values my opinion. We were sat down, and before I knew it, our credit was being pulled (hers for the SECOND TIME,) and I was told that if I dont co-sign my daughter does not get her dream car. I told the salesman that I came up here to look at the car and yes, test drive it to give her my opinion and then she was going to look at the other car and make her decision. Well, we were told that per "the manager" I would NOT be allowed to test drive the vehicle because they have had people come up and joyride on test drives. Yet, it was okay the day before. So I told the salesman "I am simply here to drive a car and to look it over for my 19 year old daughter because she wants my opinion," I then said "Parked beside the car she is looking at is a 2 year old Mustang GT, convertible, V8, 6 spd., with many upgrades. Do you honestly think that I am here to JOYRIDE in a Little Mazda MX-5 convertible?" As expected, I got no answer. Thank You Toyota of McDonough for making my daughter that has worked extremely hard for over a year and saved her money to make this happen, to feel like she is worthless and no matter how hard and long you work, you are still just a number, and your dealership OBVIOUSLY does not have any room for numbers under 650. There was once a time when people actually worked as hard as my daughter does and 85% of America and were rewarded for it. You are so very awesome for sticking to ONLY the status quo. BE SO VERY PROUD!
Wish I could give less than one star!! Moat horrible experience ever and now I'm stuck with a 15,000 car with both sides keyed because they said they could fix it and now say they can't. Oh and told me I could buy my own fuses, there a so many negatives I could not list them all here.
