Always a great experience. Dealer was realistic in price and quick to fix any issue that needed to be fixed. Any thing that I had a concern about is that there was only a half a tank of gas. Other than that there was nothing but great service.
My experience with sales at this location was more than excellent. Although I ended up not purchasing a car, my sales rep, Moe Saab, did a great job not pressuring me through the process. He even helped me search for cars that were in my price range.

I stopped in to test drive a Prius and consider my options of buying a hybrid. I was very impressed with the car I drove and the salesman who tagged along with me was very knowledgeable and professional for only working there a few days. After asking for a quote and explaining I still wanted to shop around and explore my options, the sales manager was brought in.
From here everything went down hill and completely ruined my experience here enough to make me decide that this dealership does not deserve my business. I explained "there is no way I would make a deal tonight, since I still want to physically see and drive other comparable cars, not just take other people's opinions and reviews about them." The sales manager bombarded me with questions about why I was interested in the other cars, and tried to make points about "why Toyota is a better car." Any point I made about wanting to make a well thought out and rational decision about purchasing the best car for me was only responded to in kind with more pressure about making a deal to buy that night.
Any sales manager who genuinely has their customer's interest at heart would have no problem allowing a customer to walk out the door if that meant they might find something that more fits what the customer needs/wants. I may consider purchasing a Toyota from another dealership, but this one will never get any of my business if I do.

I was ready to bring my 2012 Prius in and upgrade. I had narrowed my choices down to a new Prius V or a Rav 4 hybrid. I met with Jason Mancini and drove the Rav 4. I knew then that I wanted the SUV, ready for a bigger car with more visibility. I didn't think I needed to try the V but Jason suggested driving it to be sure that I wouldn't later wish that I had...good idea, nothing worse than "buyers remorse".
My whole experience was wonderful. Jason is very personable and knows his stuff!
I had a great experience buying a car from Toyota Carlsbad. I was looking for a used car, but got a new one instead for about the same price. Got very good financing, which over-beaten my pre-approved one, even got new better insurance there with a good discount.
I've got all information I need about the car, financing, warranty, additional options I can buy etc, It all took just several hours and I left the office in a new car, happy and satisfied.
Paperwork and appointment booked ahead of time, however, waited over 3 hours on a 10am appointment. Good pricing, but not even close to expedient. Wasted our time sitting and waiting in the parking lot despite having planned ahead.

This dealership's location is very close to the I-5 which makes for easy access. Another option is taking Palomar Airport Road or the 78 to reach the area if you need to come from a different direction. Shopping centres are close by as well if you need to grab food.
The professional, kind people working here can help you find good deals on vehicles I recommend coming in and taking a look at all of their inventory; my family has purchased pre-owned, low mileage vehicles from them several times already.

I needed to buy a car and thought I could trust toyota Carlsbad to have honesty and integrity dince they've been around for decades. I guess the stigma with used car salesmen exists for a reason. After sitting in the office for a few hours with both the salesman and the supervisor coming at me with reasons why the car I was buying was worth top dollar, I purchased. It so far has been the worst experience I've had with purchasing a vehicle. Within days the "super clean and reliable rav4 needed the front suspension system replaced. Looks like they had missed that among other things in the inspection they had claimed to have done. One of the selling points made was a warranty that I found out doesn't exist upon taking the car to the service centre. When I called kevin to ask him what was going on his response was "oh well" and that his supervisor would be in later and I should take it up with him. Don't trust anything that their sales guys say as they clearly took advantage of my situation and have little interest in being truthful or providing any customer service outside of the initial deal.
Where to start...my wife and I went to the Toyota dealership in Carlsbad looking for a new car to lease as a replacement for her Prius. About a month ago my wife was in a pretty scary car accident totaling her Prius and understandably she was pretty reluctant to jump back in another car.
Having purchased four cars over the past four years from the same dealership, let alone the same salesman, we felt pretty comfortable. He shouldn't be called a salesman, that title feels pressuring. All I can say is if you are in the market for a car, any car for that matter, go to the Toyota in Carlsbad and ask for Dan Flanagan. A retired Navy veteran, Dan has no problem outlining the facts, and providing the client with the absolute best deal. He doesn't pressure, or push...he provides results.

Normally car buying/leasing experiences are something I always dread because it usually takes forever! However, I had a great experience at this location. We were in and out in 2.5 hours! They were also very friendly and accommodating, everyone we interacted with. They also didn't try and BS or go back and forth with pricing at all, which is nice. Mandi from the finance department was so nice and funny, she also explained things quickly yet efficiently. I would definitely recommend going here because they made the whole process so easy and there was no hassle at all trading in our lease!

My fiance bought his cars from here years ago and the financing and the vehicles have been great. He just finished paying them off and they immediately released the titles. DMV has been giving him a headache trying to release one of the cars I've been using to me because they said Toyota hadn't actually released the titles and the DMV treated us poorly over it. We decided to visit Toyota Carlsbad to see what was happening and they were extremely nice with this frustration and said they would rerelease the titles for him to make sure DMV got the memo. Everything went very smooth. I was in there at 1 o clock to test drive the vehicle I wanted to buy. Left with the vehicle for the price I previously negotiated without any hassle at 4 o clock. While we were there they didn t try to get me in any other vehicles or mark up my price. They were upfront and to the point. Definitely the best experience I ve had buying a car and the quickest.

I took in my Sienna because it was making a rattling noise. Not only did they charge $60 for the diagnosis, but suggested nearly $2000 in immediate repairs and several thousand more in future repairs. They then proceeded to give a heavy sales pitch on trading in my vehicle. (Suspicious...)
I took my van to another business for a second opinion. As with most repair shops, the estimate was free. This new business was able to make ALL necessary repairs for $52. (Note, this is less than Toyota of Carlsbad charged just to look at it!) The van is working wonderfully again!
I will NEVER return to Toyota of Carlsbad and will share this with as many people as I possibly can.

Spent $27,500 on a used vehicle here. Within days the battery died even though, on the vehicle inspection report, it said the battery was fine. Within 6 days I jump started the battery 5 times. I was told to bring in the car as soon as I can and they would replace it. Awesome! Get to the dealership after work at about 4:30 pm and was told there was nobody there to replace it and there was nothing they could do. WHAT???!!! Was told to go home and bring it back at noon the next day after driving all the way there and leaving the engine running because if I turned it off it would die again. I could not bring It in at noon because I wouldn t have another car available to jumpstart this one and get it there. I need it fixed now. I m a first responder and need reliable transportation. I offered to buy a new battery and bring the receipt for reimbursement which they balked at at first but eventually agreed to. I drove to Encinitas to get a battery and brought the receipt back ASAP and the salesman said I didn t know youd fix it same day! To which I said I thought you would . Then they said they d mail me the reimbursement check which, at this point, I ll believe when I see it. Put simply I found a great car here and they were good to me when I was in the buying phase. The service after the sale leaves a lot of room for improvement from what I ve seen. When a salesman tells me to bring my car in ASAP to fix something as simple as a battery and then tells me nobody can help and come back tomorrow it is extremely frustrating. This place doesn t stand behind their word. In the future, when shopping for a car, it won t be here unless things improve. For now I m extremely unimpressed and disappointed.

Our car shopping experience had been textbook standard -- pushy salesmen, overwhelming price tags and underwhelming selections. We were convinced we were going to have to settle for something that didn't meet our needs after searching what felt like the entirety of Southern California. Then we met Moe at Carlsbad Toyota. We had been searching for a pre-owned Prius, and came to find their selection was second to none. Despite having seen cars very close to what we wanted, we had been hesitant to pull the trigger because something didn't feel right -- usually an overly pushy salesman trying to talk us out of our budget and into an entirely unwanted model of car. It is not often you are able to use the words honest, caring, and truly personable to describe a car salesman, but after meeting Moe our perceptions are forever changed. From the start he was attentive, but not pushy. Informative, but not overwhelming. Helpful, but not desperate. We had found a car on the lot that we felt was right for us, and the fact that Moe was our salesman sealed the deal. He was honest, transparent, and thoroughly listened to our needs. He fought for the best price for us, and I can truly say we drove away feeling like we had gotten the absolute best deal possible. After months of searching, everything finally felt right, and even the monotonous parts (paperwork, signing, typically awkward moments during filing, etc) were an absolute breeze. We felt cared for and respected the entire experience, and that is 100% owed to Moe. I will, if given the opportunity, give all my business to Moe moving forward. I will refer any business I can to Moe. Yes -- the car was a fantastic deal, it was certified preowned, the warranties this dealership offers are unmatched, but we easily could have walked away (as we had before) had it been for a poor impression from a salesman. Moe truly made the sale and sent us driving away with smiles and a restored faith in the industry. Thank you for employing such a model employee and human being. If you are looking for a new or used car, Moe is your guy. Trust me.

All I have to say is top notch sales and customer service. Dara Bomaradi went above and beyond to get me approved for my dream car Prius Prime. Amazing car unbelievable mileage. Monicaa was supper helpful showing me the ropes on all the new buttons. Thanks Toyota this is my 3rd toyota car have never let me down #1. Hands down to the finance guy Bob he helped us with all our purchasing including my husbands 2017 Toyota 86. He is truly helpful in making it all clear and a breeze.
I recently took my Prius to the service center for an oil change, headlight replacement, and routine check up. I had a bearing replaced and was informed after I dropped my car off that I needed my timing belt replaced also. I was told it would cost $1900. I found the belt costs around $80 online, and several other auto shops in the Encinitas/Carlsbad area offered to make the repair for $400, more or less. $1800+ in labor is outrageous, and I didn't have the timing belt replacement. I was however charged almost $200 to have my headlights changed and wasn't told it would be this expensive until I arrived to pick up my car? The bulbs together were $25. Pepoys does it for free... Again, $175 in labor for changing my headlights? I will absolutely not be coming back to this location ever.
Just purchased a new Prius and it was an excellent experience. The salesman, Frank Aftahi was helpful and knowledgeable and not at all pushy. I have found Carlsbad Toyota's service side to be superb and now I know that their sales side is equally good. I HIGHLY recommend them for all your Toyota related needs.
I have always had a good experience at Toyota Carlsbad whenever I've taken my cars there for service (formerly a Camry, now a RAV4). Their reps have always been forthcoming about what to expect and how long it will take for the service.
Their waiting area is very nice, with areas for reading, watching TV and using the Internet. They also offer local newspapers and free coffee, which are nice perks.
I only wish they offered round-trip shuttle service to residences, like they used to do. But they do give customers the option of taking their free shuttle to the Carlsbad Outlet Mall, which is nice.

My sales person Mark Lehman went above and beyond to help find me the perfect low mileage Land Cruiser If I was looking for any kind of Toyota in the San Diego area I would ask for Mark, I couldn't recommend him highly enough.
Patrick was a very knowledgeable salesperson who knew exactly what I wanted to know about the Toyota Sienna minivan before I decided to make a purchase.
