My husband and I stopped in the dealership yesterday to look around and do some test driving. We have been on the fence about either paying my car off or purchasing a new one. We had some time while my current vehicle was being serviced. The salesman that was helping us was very pushy the whole time. When we went to sit down at his desk to discuss numbers he turned rude. While at his desk, we got a call from our daughter and needed to leave immediately. Plus the dealership called to let me know my car was done being serviced. When we expressed to the salesman that we need to leave, he proceeded to tell me my car could wait. He was not understanding that we needed to get home to our daughter. My husband said to him, talk to your manager and see what you can do. We gave him our budget. He wanted to know what he did wrong because we were abruptly leaving. He then says to us, I spent several hours with you and you are not even serious about buying a car. At this point he crossed a line with me. My husband decided to return to the salesman after dropping me off to pick my car up. We are big fans of Toyota's and have owned several. But we will not return to this dealership. Word of mouth can go a long way. And I will not let a pushy salesman guilt me into a purchase just because he spent some time with me test driving.
Totally recommend Toyota Carlsbad used cars. If you are interested in getting a car, go look for Vanessa (sales person), she is the greatest, she explains everything about the car features, plus she is super kind, she helped with everything. Every single people working there are awesome, I had an incredible experience buying a car there.

When I arrived at the dealership for my scheduled test drive I was pleasantly surprised to be greeted by the same person that I had communicated with online and not three or four salesmen standing around waiting to pounce on me like at other lots. Bob is very straightforward and answered all of my questions with no BS fake friendliness or anything like that. I never felt pressured throughout the entire process. Why can't all car dealers operate like this place?

I called Randy several months later, and purchased a new Prius from him, and only wanted him to help me choose one. Again, the same professional demeanor from choosing the Prius, to test driving the vehicle, to walking my family and I to the finance office, to explaining the hybrid display panel, to answering our questions fully and competently, to waving us good-bye.
He was by our side at all times, and without having to ask him, also gave my family and I time and space to talk privately. He offered us bottled water, coffee, and other refreshments.
When I needed to check my email at work, he offered me a computer to use.

This past weekend I went to Duff at Toyota Carlsbad looking to trade in my car and find something safe and affordable to be driving. I went in with high hopes, but also thinking I wouldn t be able to come out with my dream car. Just purchased a 2018 Prius and James Virant was exceptional. Throughout the process of initially working with just my wife and I he was very attentive to our needs and questions. I was just here this Saturday. I was stuck in a bad deal on a lease from a dealership in Northern California. Moe did an amazing job of getting me a much better deal for a new lease and a brand-new nicer model car. He answered all of my questions and explained it in detail so I didn't feel uncomfortable like I did with the last time. Just before signing we discovered the old lease contract was worse than we thought. Yet, Nikki, Rick and Moe were able to help me like a family would. I realize that sounds super cheesy but it's true. I've never had such a nice experience at a car dealership. And I am very grateful .

We had great experience buying car from this dealer. Oscar and Manny were very nice sale reps. They make the buying experience pleasant, and Manny was very helpful showing us the car features at delivery time. It was also nice meeting the Finance Manager Elma, she was quick in preparing the documents and we didn't need to wait too long.

My experience with Toyota of Carlsbad today was positive and productive. I was able to work with Moe and finally Gus to reach the terms that allowed me to drive away in a new Tundra. The service was exceedingly better than when I visited Toyota of Escondido which was less than positive. Moe worked with me to get the numbers where they needed to be and I didn't feel pressured or manipulated and I appreciated that. I would say that my entire experience was excellent and I am glad I chose Toyota of Carlsbad!

Very smooth transaction. Dealt mostly with Alex Ordonez. I was able to put a hold on a hard to find vehicle before it even hit the lot. I drove about 2 hours because this was the only dealership that wasn't getting over on customers and marking up their prices over MRSP. I was skeptical to drive so far and they change their story once I was on the lot. But NOPE! They kept their word, gave me the price I was quoted and a good price for my trade. Everything was quick and easy. I walked out with a brand new 2019 Toyota RAV4 XSE with my must have packages (Technology & Cold Weather package with panoramic sunroof) in the very popular Blizzard Pearl color. I am one happy customer. Oh yea.....Alex was off at 3pm and he stayed just to make sure I received my Car and everything went smoothly. I did not get there until about 3:15pm and he stayed until 5pm for me. THANK YOU! Everyone was friendly that I came across and I am thankful I found their dealership and made that drive. I would recommend this dealership to EVERYONE!

My sales agent Manny Flores was great, he took me around to all the models and really listened to my requests for what I was looking for, and made a suggestion for the CHR that fit all my criteria (except being a plug in hybrid) which I'm sure will happen by the time my lease is up. The contract phase was easy and Manny made it smooth sailing.
I thought that this was a reliable dealership at first, from getting all my services done by them on my first car. But the salesman was manipulative and lied about the deal I was getting on the second car I bought. I will never trust this dealership again with any of my business. Do not trust a man named Bob Hassinger(spelling/) if you purchase from this dealership.

This is the fourth Toyota that we have purchased over the last 15 years and have always had fantastic customer service. Toyota Carlsbad has a customer for Life with our business and family. Always such a great experience, we refer all our friends and family there.
FALSE ADVERTISING,,, Did not honor an online price and email quote sent. Their computer / salesman put in an online price for a Toyota Tacoma. They even sent a formal quote and then said we (Toyota Carlsbad) have the disclaimer to "change accordingly". (Just a way to lure customers in and then lie.) I called to verify and ready to buy HAD MY LOAN READY and ready to have it shipped and after they "saw their mistake" changed the website and did not honor the previous quote sent. The salesman said he was the person from the email and then got "AMNESIA"...THEY HAD SENT A FORMAL QUOTE with the "selling price" and it would be good for 72 hours from the dealership. NOT HONORABLE... BEWARE.!!!

Vanessa and the Toyota Carlsbad sales team and service center went above and beyond to help my wife and I lease a new van. They were fair in their negotiation process and also with our trade in. We traded in our RAV4 which I had lost my wedding band in 8 years ago. The day we re were set to turn in the RAV I had relayed the story to Vanessa. She contacted the service manager and they took apart the center console at no cost and recovered my wedding band. My wife and I were in shock when she texted me a photo of the ring, then we were in tears.
