Nice classy hotel, great service and clean rooms. Amazing bathrooms

As always, clean accommodations with professional staff.

The breakfast buffet remains sub-par, but half a level above other hotels. I ordered a custom omelette for the same price as the buffet and was exactly what I expected - delicious. It was a veggie omelette with a side of hash browns and wheat toast. You'll have to ask for the menu so you can see all of the ingredients.

I went there to meet some people. The pool area is serene with an Asian theme and waterfall fountains. The outdoor patio chairs were comfortable.

Everything was wonderful the Entire Double Tree Staff was extremely 5 star rating across the board .

I went to the hotel for a meeting in the Crystal Ballroom. It was very clean everything is set up properly and the event went very well.

Neat and clean place. Staff were nice and kept social distancing. Would recommend it.

This hotel was noisy. The noises from the plumbing, AC, people in the halls and other rooms all kept us up at night. The bedding was also very uncomfortable. The front desk staff and bartenders at the lounge were great. The dinner service staff at our event at the hotel were terribly rude and borderline hostile. I would not return to this hotel.

The rooms are neat, but overall the business hotel level is across the street and within a few blocks is Wal Mart

Was there for company meetings, friendly staff, good breakfast. At the bar is always something going on and they serve good drinks and beer!

Decided to do our family stay-cation her. Pretty decent for being one of their older locations. We could tell from the outdated fridge and the tub in the bathroom. But, hey, they still work so no problem. Apart from that, everything else is good. (They are currently remodeling.) Staff are friendly, amenities are okay, and the cookies....a MUST!!! Just ask for them at the Front Desk. Location is kept nice looking with simple yet elegant. Daily housekeeping kept the room clean and fresh throughout our stay. The plus is this location is that it's close to the Del Amo Mall and in the same plaza as restaurant row so you have quick access to go shopping and dining.

Stayed overnight and had a pleasant experience. Fairly typical DoubleTree hotel. I always appreciate when a hotel is updated enough to take advantage of the digital key, letting you use your phone as your room key. Staff was friendly when I needed to work with them. Overall, good experience.

Great hotel in the South Bay region of Los Angeles County that is near beaches, LAX, and across the street from the recently renovated Del Amo. Management and staff are very professional and friendly. Food is great as well.

It is a good standard hotel opposite Del Amo Fashion Mall. Nothing fancy but clean and most rooms have a balcony.

Beautiful hotel....I was in the penthouse area..only thing the dinner plate was not their best!!!...their dessert which was a cheesecake was delicious!

Lobby is clean and nicely decorated with the large Christmas tree but suites needs to be remodeled. Overall it's s nice place to stay.

The location is strategic for travelers with a car, the traffic is smooth and the connectivity with the LAX airport is good, especially when we take into account the chaotic traffic of Los Angeles. As a bonus, you can explore picturesque Torrence and the wonderful beaches of the entrono.

The two times I stayed at this property, the service was adequate, the first time I received an upgrade to the executive room, due to the HHonor status. The differences between the standard room and the executive are the bathrobe available, two bottles of water daily and access to the executive lounge. As HHonors Diamond customers are entitled to the same benefits, the only advantage ends up being the bathrobe.



For those who wish to receive orders, the hotel offers gratuity for two units, above that number is charged $ 5 each ...

The meeting rooms are great. The staff is friendly and extremely helpful. Great location. Easy access to food and shopping. And not to far from the beach.

Tons of parking. Lots of eateries around and the del amo mall is across the street.

Nice rooms and beds. Clean facilities and gym. My own negative would be the soap/shampoo which drys you up like crazy.

Updated Review (10-7-2020): I came back to this hotel because the last time I stayed it was so nice; very little to address.

I checked into room 1017 believing my experience would be the same. Boy, was I mistaken.

In room 1017, the refrigerator had hairs in it and was dirty, the bathroom counter had a spot of toothpaste on it and the sheets didn't look clean. This is indicative of an unclean room. **See photos**

I requested another room.

Room 1019 was a bit cleaner but had issues too. The refrigerator was not clean, the desk chair looked nasty and the sheets needed changing.

A new refrigerator was put in and the sheets were changed.

I brought these issues to the attention of the manager, Glen, today and he didn't appear all-that-concerned.

Hopefully these problems will be addressed properly, so that they don't continue.

This matter was not resolved to my satisfaction.

**Review from September 30, 2020: I checked into room 811 and to my pleasant surprise it was CLEAN (for the most part).

I had housekeeping clean the floor at the entrance and I wiped down the refrigerator. But that's all that was needed.

The parking and Wi-Fi are free.

They have hot breakfast (if you'd like it) available, as well as cold breakfast.

Cookies and water are given upon check-in.

This location is close to restaurants and across the street from the Mall.

Chick-fil-A is just one block south.

The hotel is very nice and the staff is very friendly. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the views are great. The bed was a little hard for me but not bad. My only complaint is the food in the restaurant. I was taking a class held in the hotel and the food for breakfast and lunch was very average. It could use some serious improvement. I would stay here again.

Hotel at Torrance area..also it is so near to Del Amo Fashion center...U can reach to macy,ross,buy buy baby,gnc,etc easily..hotel has open Air pool and spa load..gym center is useful.. breakfast is so nice..u have to try grapefruit juice..

Such a beautiful place. There was a nice pool, hot tub, and the scenery was amazing! Staff was very friendly and at least 15 different restaurants within walking distance.

This Doubletree was great for our weekend getaway. The staff was very polite and eager to help with anything. Free parking in the very large parking lot.
