TNT express Australia in general is an absolute joke of a company. If you want nothing but headaches and disrespectful people that don't know how to deal.with customers nor run a company, this is the place for you.

Had 2 large parcels containing 2 items on a pallet from Melb to Syd .. been lost in TNT warehouse across the 2 state's and no one claims responsibility. Everyday I receive a phone call from Sue in the customer care department saying that they're still looking it's been over 2 weeks and still nothing is found. Rude and unprofessional people.

The place I bought my items from have stated that they be experienced nothing but problems with their dealings with TNT.

SHOCKING SERVICE SHOULD ALL THROW THEMSELVES IN THE BIN.

Same experience with the guy who had put the review below me. I was home all day and i received the text from TNT at 7:45am, after i waited and none buzzing my apartment until 1:30am i check through the website and it said customer was not home and they were attempted to deliver my packet at 11:33am. Which i believe i was at home. I made a called to TNT at 1:30pm and the lady who answered my phone said because i didnt give any instruction to the delivery man how to buzz my unit. Other courier services (Fedex and DHL) didnt need instruction how to buzz my unit and they always delivered my packages in front of my door without any special instruction. She should give me better excuse. I didnt get any notification in my mailbox too. So clearly the delivery man didnt really try to buzz and stupidly forgot to leave notification in my mailbox. TNT, please use better excuse and educate your customer service how to handle this matter. I wish Apple use another courier! I will definitely NOT RECOMMENDED this service to anyone!

I have been waiting on an urgent package to be delivered to Alexandria this week, checked tracking details on tuesday and it said out for delivery, that evening it said back to depot. Called up the next morning and they said they would put in an enquiry and that it would be re-delivered that day, however that evening it went back to the depot again as it said we were closed (which is lies, we had the front door open wide all day on purpose!!). I called to see what was happening and they had gone to the wrong address but didn't contact the number given, called again today and was told it'll be an hour away, an hour later it said they couldn't deliver! Contacted the head office and was told they weren't able to access our building (with its nice big signs, big doors, large driveway and loading zone right outside the front door and fine weather...) and that all they can do is put in another enquiry and wait to see what happens. Not at all happy with the service from TNT.

Possibly to worst Courier company in Australia. Impossible to talk common sense with and expect resident s to stay in for one to two days all day to wait for their delivery. Staff admit driver will NEVER call mobiles and despite telling you they will leave an authority to leave parcel from if they miss you their driver are just to lazy to do so. Book another company that has some flexibility. Absolutely terrible customer service

Direct Freight is amazing.
If you want to deal with liars, incompetence, negligence or enjoy chasing freight around the country, being promised things that never eventuate and are just so lucky to be graced with what can only so insignificantly be described as customer service choose TNT. ANY chain of TNT. If you have unlimited funds get TNT as your preferred logistics company because you clearly have enough money to throw around to pay for a service which will never be provided. Drivers who don't even attempt a delivery and without a call to you go back to the depot and use the "Delivery Attempted" attempted excuse. A call center which leads on a delivery will be made until 3PM and say it's too late, orders which are escalated to a higher authority and never called back. I thought Hunter Express was bad but WOW, TNT you just lowered the bar so far down it's dragging in the mud. *slow clap*

I would like to express how absolutely appalled I am at your service.

I was told item's were to be delivered on Friday 24th of February. I am still waiting and it is now the 1st of March. What makes it even worse is that the items have been sitting 20KM away in your depot since Friday!

I have had to call every day since, and have been told that the matters been escalated and that I will receive a call back. Not one call back and each time I phone back it is the same conversation with whoever it is I speak with. As if they have no idea what is going on.

I will be sure to never use TnT again and will be sure to tell people who I deal with to use another freight company.

Had a parcel shipped from the US paying premium price for express so i could track and know which day to stay home from work to receive, seeing as they say it will be there between 9am-5pm (as if that gives you any idea).
So nothing comes that day. Check the tracking later that night to see "customer not home". No card left, so clearly the driver never even came.
Rung customer service to see if i can try and arrange at least a rough time of when the driver could be here, no luck.
Rang again in the morning to see if they could contact driver for a rough eta. Apparently they can't send a message to him until at least 2pm.
Parcel arrived after having to take yet another day off work all day to wait. Driver was quiet rude too as well.
Wont be using them again. Go with DHL.

Stay away from TNT if you want your items delivered, drivers are a law unto themselves, they said they could not deliver because no one was there, sitting here with door wide open waiting for the parcel, no truck came. No accountability, they stuff your delivery and it's just bad luck, even on premium overnight express service "sorry it got left on the dock". If I don't do my job properly there are consequences, not for these drivers

Horrible! Worst couriers in OZ. Package is 5 days late, and has been sitting in the depot up the road all week, Track & Trace says they have Proof of Delivery image, so I called in. She says it the address is incorrect. She reads it back to me and it's my correct address, then she says it was never actually attempted and has been sitting in the depot all week. Informs me I'll get a call back later about when they are gonna deliver the parcel, just whenever they feel like it I guess, How about deliver it now!

The Christmas Scrooge. Package sent to me a week ago, well in time for a pre-Christmas delivery. Nothing on website tracker. Contact sender. They track it down. Allegedly no one home at time of delivery but nothing left in our mailbox. Apparently redirected to a newsagent that is closed for the next five days. Thanks for ruining Christmas, TNT. Do what all reviewers have suggested. Avoid these clowns. TNT, a company that couldn't even deliver a newspaper if they tried.

So poor and disappointing that it is hard to find the words to describe. One star is 2 stars too many!

I called them on Wednesday they arranged the delivery for Thursday, they didn't deliver it, they rearranged the delivery for Friday, but they could not deliver it again. As a last resort I rushed to their delivery depot in botany, where they told me my parcel is, but when I came there they told me it was in different place.

How can these incompetent morons maintain such a healthy share of the market??

They are useless in every single expected capacity and I hope they quickly go bankrupt and die a slow and painful death!!

Unreliable, incapable company. Do not use them or accept them as couriers from suppliers. I had items delayed by over 1 week. Promised it would be delivered next day on express but they didn t follow through, communicate with me or leave honest notes on files regarding their promises. This is the second time I ve had a disappointing run in, on another occasion they smashed an item in transit and took no responsibility for it. They have the worst customer service and internal communication system i have dealt with. You ll be left disappointed and utterly frustrated if you choose to use this company. Spend your money elsewhere, there s plenty of other good freight companies out there like DHL. I ll never use or work with anyone that uses this company again.

Doesn't even deserve single star. Google should have a negative rating which can be used exclusively for this service provider. Pathetic customer service representatives and rude Support Manager. I dont understand why Apple chose this pathetic service to deliver our precious phones. Not even worth recommending this to anyone. Please stay away from them!!!

BAD BAD BAD, On hold for 15 minutes, then got hung up on. Called their head office and was told that due to a "service disruption" that calls were on queue for over an hour. At no point while being hold was I advised of a significant delay and not even an update on my place in the queue. Lazy service.

I want to give a minus rating, but unfortunately it is not possible! I have just spent 50 minutes on the phone trying to track a parcel after the driver left a card in my letterbox. I was informed that they can't do an address search or a suburb search. Driver's handwriting on the consignment card was almost ineligible so they couldn't be sure what was written!! I was informed by Maria at the head office that human error could NEVER occur when the driver was filling in a card and they were always filled correctly. This is the most inefficient, useless company I have ever dealt with. I would rather use a pigeon to send my post than pay money for this useless service !!

DO NOT USE TNT EXPRESS, COURIER SERVICE OR ANYTHING RELATED TO DELIVERIES BY THIS MOST USELESS OF COMPANIES IN ANY INDUSTRY, apart from perhaps some taxi companies!!
After being reasonable with TNT for most of this year in working with them, I've decided after the last delivery (Never Again) that this company and the people who own this company are an example of why marketing & advertising is 95% rubbish!
I'm actually toning down my language. Busy as I am ( aren't we all busy) I felt the only way I can repay the service(?) I get from this mob is to add to the many negative reviews. To be advised that the poor service is my word against the TNT representatives' word is the last straw. To the so called business people or whatever conglomerate owns this excuse for a service company you should hang your head in shame. But you wont because the share price is the only thing you probably pay attention to. I hope upon hope your poor service in time decreases your share price or whatever it is you rate your success as a business drops through the proverbial. Merry Christmas

A lot of negative feedback a years back and apparently it hasn't improved. Possibly the worst courier I ever encountered. Unfortunately I didn't choose it, but Apple uses it to delivery the iPad that I ordered on the Apple store. It didn't give me any notice in advance, just an SMS two hours on the day before the first delivery was made. Since I went to work that day I couldn't make it back. So I used their so-called re-delivery website to specify redelivery a few days later. The instructions were ignored and they made the delivery again the next day and again I wasn't home to receive it. When I made the effort to stay home on the day specified, I got a call at lunch time and was told my parcel was left at the depot that morning and has to be delivered the next day! Can't believe it, they just forgot about my package and wasted my day at home! How such an incompetent courier is still in business is beyond me.

specially the TNT service staff who worked on 2ed September 2020 in the morning named Bill and his manager Carmon.

I provide all information correctly and waited at home for already 5 working days already. I still haven't received my parcel until now.

TNT staff Bill and Carmon told me it's my fault that didn't provide assessing instructions as reference descriptions of my building for the delivery guy, so he/she doesn't know how to use the ring the doorbell and just mentioned as I was not at home again.

Be careful of using TNT deliivery: the correct address is not enough, you have to teach the delivery guy how to ring the doorbell.

We have had $700 worth of stock sitting in limbo for 3 weeks. No one is able to tell me whats happened with it despite my repeated enquiries. I am constantly told "we are looking into it" and a result is never achieved. On asking whether I am able to make a complaint or claim the stock under insurance, I am told to contact my account manager, and no claim is possible. My account manager Paul Temby has historically been unhelpful and by his own admission is "too busy" to respond to my emails. How can you call yourselves "The People Network" if this is the kind of customer service you provide?

I'm actually surprised that it turned out great for me. Upon seeing all the bad reviews, I kinda doubted TNT's service but the driver arrived 5 mins early, rang the doorbell, and was a nice guy too. My boxes arrived in Brisbane the next day, as promised. I have received updates by email and it was real time as well. My experience was great so I'm happy to give 5 stars to TNT.

Multiple calls (5), multiple promises made, not 1 email or call back, so delays that could have been avoided and solved in minutes. Nope all the while, not a care when I had to call from overseas and sit on hold every time, and get nothing but hollow promises.

Call centre staff all sound like they are really trying to help, but what happens after there is a complete disconnect...and the woman running the depot in Sydney, by the initials RR should be absolutely ashamed of herself and her scant regard for ever trying to answer any emails or even pretend to help.

Wow TNT, you should be embarrassed...sometimes people review these things and you think maybe some are just talking it up, nope, TNT + bad service go together.

Terrible Service, waste of time and money.
It took them 18 days to ship 7 boxes from Hong Kong to Sydney! we arranged 3 shipments from HK to SYd with other couriers after that and all arrived earlier and it took them 8-12 days to do delivery.
TNT rep promised that due to delay in shipment Via Singapore, they will try to clear the goods from the custom within 24 hrs and deliver to our office in Sydney . it took them 5 days to do clearance and delivery was postponed to next day!

Asked for a re delivery on the 29th of December, it was attempted on the 27th of December. After a rude customer service agent explained I had the date wrong and had to reschedule I rescheduled for the 28th and cancelled my morning plans.

Package arrived is a gash in the back near the word "DO NOT CRUSH" luckily my parcel was undamaged, but the best part was the delivery guy who basically bolted after getting a signature.

To top the whole thing off I found a slip on the cover calling for a delivery on the 29th of December, this review is posted on the 28th. Thanks for telling me it was my fault and giving proof it wasn't. Will not ship with them again.

172 one star reviews, make it 173. This clearly says that these guys couldn't give a stuff about the business or the company's reputation. An urgent medical device was on order which got taken to the newsagent, despite clear instructions to leave it at the doorstep. The best part? Nobody bothered to leave me a card, a note or anything. If I hadn't chased it, it would have been sitting at there collection depot for days.
I will go out of my way to make sure I NEVER do business with these guys again.

Sorry but TNT are a very poor excuse for a freight company. The quality of a company is the way they handle problems, but TNT has the worst customer service I have ever come across. I am a TNT customer and shipped out a package which was damaged in Transit. I had included insurance on the package but when trying to find out how to claim I was given the runaround and passed of from person to person. I am still now waiting on the phone once again tryng to just get an email of the department responsible. What a nightmare. Lift your game TNT or get out of this business and let someone who knows about service to do it.

Flawed delivery system harking back to the bad old day and appalling, defensive customer service.
The many other delivery companies have elegant, efficient systems. Multiple items received during this lockdown period, not one problem.
Here I am chasing a parcel that was attempted to deliver - to be told it may be days before they can re-deliver.

TNT appears to be one of the more incompetent of the courier services available - definitely use one of the more reliable ones (e.g. DHL) if you can.

Most recent example - they were meant to deliver to a business in the CBD, but apparently their driver "couldn't find the building".

This was a multi-storey commercial building located in the Sydney CBD, with both the number and company clearly visible on the outside.

Did TNT call me to let me know this? Nope, I had to chase them up , and they said "Oh, whoops, we couldn't find the building...".

09/12/19 ooops they did it again. This time they claimed that nobody was at home. However, all parcels can be left at the building administration

So, TNT's driver delivered my items (13 boxes @ 10kgs each) and had an old lady sign for them (because the recipient was not home) and the driver left all 13 boxes on the top of the drive way IN THE POURING RAIN. $9500 worth of damage.

Even 1 start is too much for this poor excuse of a service they provide.
Worse service ever. I sent my personal effects using TNT. Apparently FedEx was supposed to do the delivery and TNT customs clearance. Goods arrived on 17th August and on 28th I receive mail from FedEx that my packages will be sent back to the shipper. TNT didn't bother to do the customs clearance and now I am loosing my mind trying to solve this.
Worse service ever. All are a bunch of ..... that can't do anything right.

Is this like first world country where they are supposed to deliver first world services or what???? PATHETIC PEOPLE

Rang about my delivery before Christmas after wasting pretty much one whole afternoon trying to chase them up finally someone had the guts to tell me they had mailed my package to the wrong place - its one thing to do a bad job as a delivery company its another to lie and decieve. Just tell me the truth straight up next time and improve your customer service your waiting times are just ridiculous. TNT you get a sad face :-(

As we expected, TNT did marked this item as delivery attempted and card left while no one from TNT shown up in our community at all! The worst company to deal with first you get the answering machine which is very annoying you have to repeat the consignment number million times for it to get it right second when someone answers they are not very helpful at all.
What about the delivery people they don t even bother to knock on the door and then we will be left with the trouble of picking up the item !seriously what s the point of ordering online !!!

Just don't use them. The customer service staff are dreadful. Ruben is not even a human being. Ruby is full of herself. Alison is an outright cow. I've come to know these three quite well over the last ten days... While trying to find urgent medication that was sent through them, I've been belittled. Laughed at. Lied to and treated like an idiot.
I've been told repeatedly it will be coming today today today everyday.. Stay home. I even got told repeatedly by TNT that the driver tried to deliver, only to find out the driver was not actually working that day. I've been told they've been here most days (we have CCTV and they haven't)
I ended up ringing head office to actually get through to someone who would listen and help. Their system is so bad, so unreliable. The tracking system only works for metro regions and the customer service people stink. I bet most of these bad reviews are due to call centre staff being a bag of peenies more so than messed up deliveries. It's like they've trained them to be infuriating, vague and rude.

What an absolute joke, go with DHL, or e-go these guys are clowns. Waited around all day for them to pick up a parcel, despite being promised the following none of it happened: confirmation call before 10, pick up before 12 (arrived at 3). When they finally arrived the driver had no paper work, no clue and in the end after calling HQ was not able to pick up my parcel after all as they had no record in the system of the delivery!!! He also smelled, was rude and stupid......take a bath!

We have never experienced such a bad service as with TNT recently. I think over a long time in dealing with customer s complaints they have been developing their unique way of doing business. Instead of improving their services, they have reached skillful tactics to play both side customers and their suppliers. Every time we contact TNT to find out whereabouts our goods, they re trying to manipulate the scenarios, twist the truth or blame others such as our contact numbers were incorrect, we re not home, raining, bad traffic, goods on the way but it s late so driver may deliver the next day, etc. TNT even played with our supplier to get us to pick up the goods by ourselves but our supplier reminded us not to do that because we paid around $600 transport by air for that piece after supplier confirmed goods had arrived on time. For the whole week, we had to stay home as they requested but the drivers never turned up.
