I have never had an issue with them in fact I always receive great customer service. I know how hard it can be to deal with people and different issues. They are always professional and answer every question I need assistance with. That s what you should rate them for and NOT your personal issues.

I have been unemployed since late May and I had went online to file from unemployment but still haven't gotten an answer and now we are in a new year.. What am I'm supposed to do?
I have kids and family to take care of . I did actually speak to a live person once a few months ago and she just told me to go refile because they could not find my claim which is pathetic and every since I can't get in touch with anyone on the phone especially after being on hold for an hour or so then get routed to voicemail and you can forget live chat when there is like 600 people in the queue before you and the email help desk is a joke too when no one gets back to you ever!!!!! What can I do? Please help!

I filed in October of 2020 still nothing. I have managed to get thru ton the phones twice, my case has been escalated, and they sent a message up the line. This is ridiculous. I have worked since I was 15, I should be able to draw. What is the problem?

Been waiting since October 2020 for a response on approval. They told me in October it would only take a couple of weeks. That I should receive by mid- November What a joke. There are more people that live in California and they receive their claims within a few weeks. No one ever answers or when you finally get someone, they say it s still under review. That they are being very thorough when processing because of fraud. Maybe the whole department should be investigated, because it seems there are many ppl not receiving assistance. Hopefully I ll receive my retro pay.. and not a year later. Now I m so much debt and we can be homeless anyway

The worst experience of help I've ever been through. I'm pregnant and I work 8 hrs a week but my doctor put me on light duty so I have been calling this place for 2 weeks no respond, they just keep you hold then come back and say not accepting calls...really! The chat line is no help. When I'm able to go back to work it will not be in Memphis.. sad! People that need help can't get but I see others not even trying to work getting all the help.... Memphis system of real help is a mess!!!

Awful system. I've been trying to get through for over a week now. I have one simple question! Which is to see if me application for employer id has been received? Its been 6 weeks now. Also chat is useless- 6 days in a row in the chat queue and nothing. yesterday I made it to 1 in the queue and was there for 3 hours before losing connection.

The system is so old and is not even remotely user friendly. Don't bother using chat it is useless. Tried to call 16 times on different days and times because I can't get answers from the website, but no one is ever available no matter what time of the day! I do not know what to do I need to talk to somebody but I can't! Help us please!!!

They are not responsive! Im owed $1430 of retroactive pay and no one can tell me, when I'll receive it. I waited in the Chat line from 10am 430pm on Tuedsay 5-25-2021, only to be bumped out of the line at: 430pm, when their office closed. Ive reached out to the Zen Desk, they can't give me an answer either. Something about a glitch in their system that accounting has to handle. I've been waiting on accounting to handle it since March 12, 2021. It's 2 months later. Im still missing my retroactive payment and my bills are getting behind! Maybe going to the physical office, will expedite my case! I doubt it but that's my next option.

4/22: The two ladies that helped me were SO helpful and SO FRIENDLY but the other was awful and said you know, you don t HAVE to file. Just when I thought I had it, I didnt and needed to call back and you re on hold for HOURS, having to call back like 20 times as they will only allow you to hold for 20 minutes and then it says you cannot leave a message.

When all I was trying to learn was how to put my job searches in, she put me on hold for 20 minutes at a time! I must have had to call back 4 times the day I set up my unemployment account - I was laid off on 4/2 due to mass department downsizing and it takes 6 months to find a career right now as it s very competitive for good jobs. I just haven t finished it yet but I want to make an effort to set it up just in case the job hunt takes a while.

UPDATE: 5/26/21, I m still waiting for my checks, they say I didn t attach my DL & SS Card and they ve been attached and verified by many unemployment agents. So I m changing my review to 1 star, it s also taken me 15 hours to reach them, to confirm my documents are attached. Not a good use of my time, and I still do not have an appeals date for someone to just look and see my documents are attached.

Some people have no problems I m sure but even the unemployment reps I have reached, say that website is incredibly DIFFICULT TO NAVIGATE ( claimant, applicant or neither, which come to find out, I am neither because I m applying so I am not an applicant because I haven t been approved - how would I know to choose neither?)

If the website was easier to navigate, this office would not be so difficult to reach - the words that define what you were trying to do we re grammatically correct and all located in the same area - that would help during this awful time, it would allow me to concentrate on looking for work.

Well after hundreds of applications and countless interviews with employers that offer insanely less pay than they were prior to covid in my field of work, I was re hired at a previous employer last month. Today the Tennessee Unemployment office decided to mark my first ticket from nearly 5 months ago as solved, even though its not as I am still waiting on that 6 months of unemployment. Very cool.

4 months and waiting. At least they closed their phone queue so you can't speak to someone now, and their chat system is a joke. Good stuff.

Updating my review here;

Well this is awkward. Filed a new claim, approved in the normal 2 week time, but nothing about the 4+ months I certified for. Neat, we'll get there one day.
