The employees were incredibly helpful and friendly and were able to get me back on the road quickly, after being stranded on the freeway with a flat. Would highly recommend!

Had one good experience here and it s been a headache every other time I have tried. To many other tire shops to deal with this place.

Discount needs to hire a couple people to just handle the phones. The people that work behind the counter need to focus on helping the people in the store first. Everytime I go there I wait in line such a long time because people that call in get helped before me after I've been waiting there. In essence it's like taking cuts in front of somone. They need to restructure how they operate to make it more efficient for the customers.

Yes they are almost always busy but there s a reason for that: they do it right. These guys really always have a great attitude and will make sure your vehicle gets the best tires for the best price and that you are happy. I don t go anywhere else!

I spent $1000 on new tires, ordered them online and scheduled for them to be installed the next week. Brought my car in and was in and out within 20 minutes. Fast forward to two weeks later and my husband (who just got back into town) looks at my tires and mentions they are not the tires I ordered and paid for. I drive all the way to discount tire, show them my receipt and explain to them the tires on my suv were not the tires I paid for. They explained that they didnt have those tires in stock and that "they made the decision" to place a different set on. NO ONE communicated this with me. NO ONE told me the tires I researched and purchased were not available. NO ONE gave me the option to pick out another set myself. AND the tires that they put on my car were cheaper than the ones I originally bought and I had to be the one to point that out and ask for the refund. If I could give zero stars I would, such a terrible experience.

I was shocked by their honesty and integrity.. I was having a slight pull to the right and I asked them to examine my tires.. They examined my tires and said they were all good. I didn't need any tires. A unique company in the tire busness,

I have been buying tires with them for several years, maybe 10 years. Their service has been in decline and prices are not competitive anymore. I had a flat on my wife's minivan so I went ahead and called to setup an appointment early in the morning, the person on the phone said I didn't need it one, just come and will take care of it, not the case. I ended up waiting almost 3 hours because they misplaced my paperwork. Manager didn't even apologise. I'm going somewhere else from now on.

The customer service is great. They are so nice and professional. I got in and out quickly. No appointment. I highly recommend them!!

This place is great. My John Deere had a flat, and someone told me that discount tire does free flat repair. I went in on a Saturday morning, and the staff (although it was busy) was very happy to take care of me! I left the tire thinking I was in no hurry. I didn t even make it home and they called me to tell me it was repaired. Great service and will definitely be back (as a paying customer next time)!

Been a customer for a while, but this past experience I sat in line for 1 hour while only one person was running the front desk. If I didn t buy my tires here and didn t have a warranty I wouldn t return.

I've purchased my tires here since I bought my 1st car & that was many years ago.

Didn't have comparable tire in stock and order time was too long to receive.

Stopped in for 2 new tires. Found a screw in one tire, and fixed it for free. Mounted and rebalanced the 2 older tires. Will definitely return for the remaining two tires.

Told one price while they had my vehicle and quoting it. When I come to pick it up they forgot to mention it was double the price. This is all while they had my car for a week.

Easy and understandable. Just make an appointment, walk in can be a long wait.

Huge Thank You to the Crew that took such Great care of my In-Laws on June 14th 2016; they had traveled to Indy from TN to begin a transition to assisted living but had a tire go down on them during their travels. They brought the tire to the store on the morning of 6/14/2016 and were treated with in my Mother In-laws words, the best customer service she had ever received. The Crew not only repaired the tire, but put it back on the van replaced the doughnut tire and had them on their way in time to make their appointment. Well Done Discount tire, Well Done!

Very customer friendly business that does there best to make sure you are happy and get you in and out as quick as possible. Always able to fit me in when I need to even when calling less than 24 hours before I want to make an appt.

Tires I've bought from there have always been very good and the cheapest in the area. Trust me, I research before spending money on something pricey like tires.

No matter what time of day you stop by, there's always a line. The nail in my tire was so bad I had to order a new tire, at least they kept me up to date as to when I could come back to have the new tire mounted. And even though I took the time to set up an APPOINTMENT for the new tire to be put on my car, I still had to wait almost 2 hours. That's ridiculous.

The crew here are always friendly and the prices can't be beat. The free service on tires such as the patching and rotations have helped me so many times is been a real life saver!

Discount Tire is one of the best companies for customer service I have ever dealt with. I go to this location every single time I have any problem with my tires. They fix problems faster and cheaper and the dealer or any other shop. On several occasions they have fixed a flat tire or a leaky tire for me for free. I will definitely go here the next time I need to buy new tires or wheels.

Service is always fantastic and they do their best to get you in and out!

Good group of people! I seen great teamwork and professionalism that ya don't see much anymore. These "guys" were busy as can be yet they still kept composure and attention to each customer. I was impressed and will be back. Matthew, I believe a manager, was running the front counter and walking the shop are to make sure the shop was ok. That type of behavior has always impressed me in a shop type atmosphere. Good job Discount Tire South Indianapolis!

This is the best place to buy tires. They have thw best prices and great customer service.

I always wait 2 hrs. The price is too dang high. I shopped around and there's cheaper out there with a better guarantee and warranty after the sale. Better deals elsewhere

Trying to get one tire replaced because I paid for road hazard. Quoted wait of 1 hr to 1 hr 15. I've been here 2 and a half hours!!!!!! I'm sure if I were buying a full set of tires I'd be out of here long ago. I will go elsewhere next time road hazard be damned

Great service bought my tires there and they also check the pressure for me.

I called them and mentioned my problem and they told me to come right in. When I got there it was busy and I was standing in line for maybe 10 minutes and in that 10 minutes at least 5 times several different employees apologized for the wait and told us they would get with us soon. They had coffee and water sitting out for the customers to drink during our wait. I have to say that for once I didn't get impatient. The customer service was phenomenal and I wish they were full blown mechanics that did more than just work on your tires because they would be my first choice with choosing someone to work on my car.

Brian and the entire staff at this location are extremely friendly, punctual, and helpful. They are my go-to tire location.

The employees were working really hard as there were several customers. They worked as a team and I was in and out with tires changed in under one hour.

Used to be good, not anymore. Ppl that worked there seemed to be arguing amongst eachother. everyone was being told 1 hour 45 mins but after waiting 1 hour 15 min and saw my car still sitting outside I went to get my keys back, I was told my car to be ready an hour later than promised. I left and went down the street to tire barn.

First off... I've been visiting this location since the 90's. I gave it 2 stars instead of 1 because 10-15 years ago, it was amazing. Great people back then who really seemed to care. Those days are over! My last 3 visits have been horrible. One of those visits was for a new set of wheels and they put 2 different offset MB wheels on my car. +50 on drivers side and +35 on passenger. That's ridiculous in my opinion. My last and final visit to this location was just for a rebalance. I had my young kids with me and the guy who checked me in (after we stood there for 20 minutes without even a hello) told me 1 - 1.5 hours and there were 5 cars ahead. Seemed like a long wait but I didn't really have a choice. My turn came and I literally watched the tech pick up my keys, look at the paperwork and put them back. 4 cars later (9 since I got there) I finally asked them what was going on. They got me right in at that point but ignoring a customer, especially one with a couple young kids, for hours is pretty awful customer service. Drive up to Lafayette Rd Discount Tire, they seem to still care about customers.

If I could give 0 stars, I would. I have never experienced such sloppy and inexperienced technicians in my many many years of buying tires. After waiting almost 2 weeks for a special order tire...these guys couldn't even get my center cap off. So I take it to my normal service center... And they have it done in less than 30 mins. Avoid this place at all cost.

When in about 7:45 before they opened at 8 got in right away. Purchase three new tires since already had more and it was pretty new was in and out I'd say in a little under an hour. However I was third in line when the doors open and if you get there much later you'll be waiting most of the day but do you like their service do you like the prices compared to some of the other places I never had a problem would recommend. Would be nice if they offered later hours on Saturday and also open on Sundays to help people get stuff done without taking off work during the week.

Great service and very fast! Set up appointment for new tires and was in and out in under 40 minutes. Other tire shops in the past I sit there 40 minutes or more before they even get your car in. Better prices than my old tire shop to!

had a horrible experience here, went in there was a crowd of people. There was no organization they were taking people out of order, when I finally got helped. I felt like he was just trying to rush me out, did not help me at all, had to go down the street a quarter mile to get good service.

Had a trip to Chicago from Bloomington in December. My steering wheel was vibrating pretty badly, so I figured I should take it in and get it checked. Told me the vibration was caused by a bent rim and they can either move it to the back and dampen the vibration, or replace the wheel. Decided to replace the wheel altogether, and they hooked me up with a deal. Got the car in immediately. I had to be in Chicago by a certain time and they got my car taken care of extremely fast and got me on my way to Chicago in less than an hour and a half. I've always loved Discount Tire and have never had a bad experience, and this was no exception. I've never had a better customer experience. Kudos to this Discount Tire.

I usually get grate service here and even recommend. Today was not the case. I waited in the tire pressure lane for 25 minutes and nobody ever came out to help.

Great experience & management! Extremely quick and efficient service. Had a tire replacement, tire repair, rotate & balance! Was able to go shopping and received a text when my vehicle was ready!

Fantastic customer service and very reasonable rates, especially if you are on a budget.

Wasn't impressed with customer service while we waited with no greeting until someone else walked in. Waiting because an employee was making a tire purchase. So instead of waiting on customers let's do an employee sale. Then after we were done tires were not matching the size of the weight that they said all tires were all different weight same problem when I walked out as when I came in. And when I called to address the issue the person on the other end of the phone acted like they had no clue what I was talking about and no clue about tire pressure. So again I will say not impressed and actually worried about even taking my car back up there but considering that's where my warranties that that's where I'm going to have to do. But a word of advice I would go to tire barn because the Staffing discount tire at this location has changed and I've been in here twice since then and have been treated with the same poor lack of customer service. And I'm giving them to stars because of the only person that was semi-nice and had good customer service skills. Other than that they would get a one star.

Had a bad valve stem on my truck. Took it over to Discount Tire to have it checked out. I did not have an appt. and they were pretty busy, yet they squeezed me in. They replaced the bad valve stem and checked the other three for no charge. I will be needing new tires for two of my vehicles soon and they will get all of my business.

Noone wants to put their spare on a second time in one day. Especially 3 miles away from the tire store they just left due to error on the part if the tire store.

They need to have a system where people can check in before they open. There seems to be no standard. Is it whoever is standing outside, pulls in first? It's always awkward.

I had a tire leaking air, which they fixed for free as I had purchased my tires from them. I got there about 20 minutes before they were closing, and they got me in and out in about 15 minutes! I called before I came in, and Matt was super helpful answering all my questions and said if I got there within 15 minutes of them closing they would still be able to fit me in. I really appreciated how informative everyone was and that no one seemed annoyed that I rushed in right at the last minute!

Great service. Friendly folks. Had a hard to find tire that neither Walmart nor Tire Barn had on hand. They take customers until they close then finish up what cars are left, so they were able to replace my leaking tire at 4:45 p.m. on a Saturday.

Sadly, no pancakes.

First time here and I really can't say how great service they offer, the guy who help me it was really friendly also he help me out to decide for the best tire according to my budget....

Tell you a 2 and half hour woot for a quick k plug on a tire.. Closes in an hour so they stretch the time do you won't wait and they can get off .. I've never had a problem at any other location but this US 31 store should be avoided at all cost

My visit was at a time when they were very busy, someone came out to let me know they would be with me shortly, I didn't have a long wait. They checked my tires and did a great job, thanks. I always think of Discount, when it comes to tires

For some reason our rotation appt was cxld. They took us right away. We were out in 45 minutes

Friendly and helpful staff, quick service. I buy tires here and got the road hazard, which some say is a waste, but it's saved me twice in the last year from having to purchase a replacement tire and once from paying to get it patched. Won't shop for tires anywhere else.
