Super great place for a quiet day out! They have everything here, and everyone can find something too eat. Really good atmosphere and great dessert :)
Super great place for a quiet day out! They have everything here, and everyone can find something too eat. Really good atmosphere and great dessert :)
Great food! Plenty of options so you can eat what you'd like but sit with your friends and family. Wonderful idea!
Very good but totally crowded. Best pastel de nata in town at Manteigaria.
Loved the atmosphere, young and vibrant! Great food xxx
Dozens of food stalls but very busy. Did not stop to eat
Lively, bustling and a true foodie experience. Lots of tempting places to eat
Food is good even if a bit salty! Nice terrace and nice service. Crowded place on Saturday (lunch time). Overestimated to be a 5* chefs restaurant, I expected a bit more for the price of plates.
The best restaurants selected to be here. Lots of different small places. Order at the counter and find a high top or indoor picnic style table. Seating for hundreds in the central area. A very high end food court. Absolutely delicious! Only draw back is finding a place to sit. High energy gathering place.
Huge selection of interesting food and drink. Lively atmosphere.
Always packed with tourists but still its a must if you are in Lisbon. A culinary highlight. I love it! Plan some time, since the queue can be long at lunchtime.
Great eating experience. A bit tricky with larger groups when busy ... It can be hard to get seats together.
A nice visit. An easy [10-15mins] walk if you are staying in the heart of Bairro Alto. With over 15 or so food vendors, you will find something you may want to try.
My only issue with this place is, it seems some food vendors only had menus in Portuguese.
Fantastic visit . Food of all sorts to choose from. We were very lucky on 2 visits for seating. A lot of people walking around looking for seating but was just too full. Get your seating first ! Sitting and chatting to all nationalities, great.
This place is an over priced tourist trap. Unless you enjoy feeling like you're trying to earn a seat at a table with the cool kids in your high school's cafeteria while drinks are falling off every tray and glass is smashing everywhere, avoid this overly branded hot mess at all costs.
Avoid the hype and the mediocrity. There are hundreds of fantastic restaurants and bars within walking distance away.
Visited the place with my friends with high expectations based on past reviews we had read. The place did not disappoint us. It is structured like a food court with a lot of selection of places offering different cuisines. Some of them are shops by famous chefs and gives people a chance to taste some of their special dishes.
Finding a seat is a struggle as its usually chaotic like a shopping mall food court. You will be lucky to snag a table quickly, especially if you are a larger group. I m generally not a big fan of food court concepts because of primarily this reason and also the fact that while half your group will be holding down a table the other half will be at different counters trying to get food. Basically kills the concept of spending time together.
Leaving the above aside, some of the dishes are unique and the taste of the food was decent but nothing great. We tried food from 2-3 different counters and didn t go crazy about anything. Also shared a bottle of wine as there is a fully stocked bar here as well.
Lastly, I would say it is a nice experience. However, none of the shops are offering you much that may be unique to Portugal or Lisbon. Also, Lisbon is relatively a very economical place. The small restaurants of the city will offer you much more delicious food at more reasonable prices. Worth a try for experience and tasting different items, but not the best food by any means.
Lots of different food. But very busy even on Saturday lunchtime.
Great! Down side always super busy and hard to find a seat
A little overwhelming at first for the sheer buffet of options. I wish they d make an app just for this market so one could easily navigate through the menus of all the vendors without having to bumble aimlessly from one stall to the next. I appreciate the clean look of uni-brand-signs for all, but that makes choosing such a challenge.
That aside, I loooove it here. I wish every major city had one, so keep em coming TimeOut!
Been twice and satisfied thrice. Well-yummed.
Nice place to grab something to eat. Usually really crowdy. But too "fancy". I was kind a hoping to get that Boquria feeling :)
Had pizza and beer. Was great atmosphere. Food and drink reasonably priced. If I'm ever back in Lisbon, I'll be back. Great stuff!
Experience international cuisines, takeouts and excellent seafood options here!
It is a nice and cool place. Lot's of fancy and well designed tourist traps, that catch travelers and locals alike, and from wich you can choose one or several to suit your appetites of the day. I sincerely recommend.
So many good fast food restaurants in a nice place. The tables are shared between the restaurants. Very noisy.
A little bit expensive but such a nice place with food for all the tastes.
A great building full of a very wide variety of restaurants. There are two challenges: deciding which food to eat and then finding a table to eat at.
a little pricey but mostly worth it great food and the best custard tarts
Very nice market where you can try many different type of food and at the same time you can buy flowers... Very particular
Too packed and too pricey for lisboa. We were 5 people finding a spot to sit was tough and all of us were searching for food. Too commercial. My food was great - avocado shrimp salad, but 15 euros was steep for that place.
Good food choices but too busy and not enough seating. Avoid peak times.
A bit touristy and overcrowded but definitely worth a visit, your tastebuds will thank you
A market style food court. But definitely not a food court. Everything is made fresh to order by some of Lisbon best restaurants. A great place to try alot of different plates. Every this is well priced.
Food Stalls with some great options (Tartar-ia). Very busy, hard to get a seat.
The main focus is food but there are other quirky stalls including a Ginja stall with a variety of styles. Well worth a trip.
One of the best places in the world to have a meal and enjoy the company of friends.
A must visit for foodies, lots of options and yummy food
Great mix of local restaurants, good drinks and a nice atmosphere.
It was an amazing place, but was pretty hard to find a spot to eat during the weekend
One of the top things to do in Lisbon is to have lunch at the Time Out Market. So much to choose from and everything is delicious. It's a vibrant market setting and gourmet courses go for around 10 .
Great choices but can be very busy get your seats first and have someone watch them till your food is ready!
Perfect in every way, covering all tastes. Satisfaction guaranteed.
Yeah, it's noisy, it's more expensive than most places in town, and it's crowded. BUT. The amount of places and dishes to choose is insane, the mix of genuine and fusion portugese food incredible, and the concept itself is to rare in Europe to be denied.
Now, Here's a tip : find a place to sit, then go order, one by one. Seats are rare due to the popularity of the spot, trust me
This is a great place to go and eat in Lisbon!
The place is big and you have lots of choices! I would definitely go again!
A lively, noisy place with good food, lots of un if a little crazy with all the people. Getting seats was a bit of a trial.
Great place to sample the food. Play the dish not the restaurant, move around eat different dishes from different places
Like a festival of food and tastes! All kind of chef's, traditional and international food and beverages! Perfect for a tasty lunch or brunch!
An urban gourmet food market with a wide variety of options. Besides the food, there are lots of wines, beers and cocktails to try. It's usually very crowded, so it's a better option in the afternoon or later in the night.
Very interesting place to visit+ great opportunity to eat "like local". Highly recommend
Simply the best place to eat in Portugal, the problem they are alwayd too crowed , but what to do, the food is worth it and everybody wants to taste it! There also store organic store there and ice cream . Toilets ok and fast service but good quality food.
Very cool market. A bit fancier than I expected with food options. Definitely go to the fresh food though, it s only open for a couple of hours in the morning but there s is good choice of fresh fruit and veges.
Varied, fresh, delicious food. Good for a quick bite or to sit down and enjoy. Prawns and seafood were amazing altogether.
Place is huge in the center of lisbon, food was good but overpriced and small portion. Place for tourists.
Located at a great spot in Lisbon it's the market place where one seems to want to go. Unlike many other market place (especially in Spain) this one actually has both high quality restaurant quality meals but also, on the outer side, they sell fresh uncooked seafood more for locals. If you are here early you can walk around and explore the different restaurants in the place. Yes I call them restaurants because their quality is up to par.
I've had a couple of meals there and drinks as well. It's a great place if you are indecisive about what you want.
The location is close to the train station so once you get off just cross the street and then you're here.
Come back soon hopefully
Really good food and lots of choice! But make sure to get there early for dinner as there is not enough seating!
Lots of food choices. I got the bacon cheeseburger and it was delicious!
Amazing experience. I highly recommend it. Too crowded might be the only down side of it.
This is a must visit place we had something to eat hear as well but there is loads to see and so much choice.
I really enjoy the varieties off at the Time Out Market. It is definitely very busy so getting your food and finding a place to sit can be difficult. I really like the duck leg dish and the crispy pork meat.
A lot of options .. was happy to find garden supplies shops with seeds
jam packed full of tourists and food to try. Not my cup of tea but I see why it is hugely popular.
You get to choose from a variety of international delicacies. It has a very relaxed and sociable atmosphere. Recommended for big group or even individual diners.
Good food, but don t expect having a meal in under two hours. Too crowded & rude people.
There are many different types of international food and wines to choose from. Some of them are bit expensive. It is almost always crowded.
Huge market hall with a large seating area in the middle and lots of small food stalls around it. You can get all kinds of food, snacks and Portuguese goodies.
Definitely worth a visit. But watch out you might spend more than you think, because there is a lot to try.
Awesome selection of restaurants in central Lisbon. We ate here three times on our trip. Tequila house cocktails are top top.
The meal was kind of so-so. The texture of the caldo verde was nice, but not a lot of flavour. The sardines on bread were some of the better sardines I had. I couldn't tell you which stall I ate at, but it was on the furthest wall from the entrance. The pasteis de nada was exceptional, though. I believe the bakery is Manteigeria.
Great space for having a meal ion a relaxed ambiance Chefs cuisine and delicious pastry, sushi and more in one place, an historical market
Please be careful when ordering on Croqueteria. The products are very good made with quality but they will try to fool with your order. You end up paying two Chips doses and just receiving one back. They(one female employee on the 5/9/2020) try an impossible explanation and refused to give me back my money.
Nice place with lots of different dishes to tatse. Can be crowded during dinnertime.
Super touristy place. Not an authentic Lisbon experience and you'll only be surrounded by your fellow tourists (I've been living in Lisbon for years and never go there anymore). But some of the restaurants are good, albeit usually expensive for Lisbon standards.
Very nice concept! Such a nice selection of restaurants. We recommend to go there before the lunch or dinner peak times to find a place.
Really nice market with lots of great food options.
Lovely food market hall with a variety of different dishes.
Easy to find something for anyone
Was one of the best decision to go eat in time out . Lots of choices for food and best Pasteis de Nata
Nice place where you can try different food. It is really touristic and prices are higher then normal standards. Everybody speaks English and every stands has some specialties.
To try but not to spent an entire day.
Really interesting place with great vatiety of food and atmosphere. Well worth a visit
