Overpriced, Overrated, overcrowded. Not worth it, many other better options out there. Tourist trap, only positive side is that you can still get some food there late in the evening. Otherwise, to be avoided.

It is like a food court in a shopping mall with no unique meal experience. Also prices dont match for you get. If you are around the area. Just behind street there way better local dining areas!

We came here on Sunday afternoon after waking around the commerce plaza and it was a great option to try different types of local food. The place is huge and has a broad offering including fish, sushi, meat, desserts and even a souvenir store. Pretty great location and totally recommended if you're looking for several options at the same place.

This place is a gem!!!! so many food stalls so many to pick from, and I dare to say you won't be disappointed for whatever you pick. Great music and open space in the centre for people to dance as well. If there's one thing to complain, then probably is the overwhelming food choices! haha which is not bad at all :-) definitely recommend.

Excellent and authentic food with a large variety to choose from for all tastes. Great service, limited seating.

Watch out gets VERY crowded during peak hours.l and as such cleanliness (ex:bathrooms) tends to be packing a little.

100s of comments just confirm the popularity of this place. Regardless of what you looking for, it is an experience and as such you have to go for it. It will be busy, slightly overpriced and very loud, but that's the part of the game. Don't let anyone let you down and spend the extra time to find your seats as it will be meal you going to remember.

Here you can find a wide variety of international food, but specially from Portugal. I have been to Lisbon 3 times and I was impressed of not being here before! I will definitely come back when I visit Lisbon again!

This place is everything and has everything. I found no better place for a group of people to eat while in Lisboa. Literally every diet and food craving can be taken care of here. All in a beautiful and cultural environment that makes you understand why you travel. This is a don't miss stop on your Lisboa adventure.

The pictures do not do it justice, but there are many restaurants that offer tasting plates at reasonable prices. If you can't decide on one, go to them all and share. The tables are open seating and it is wise to just share a table with someone.

Everything I've had here has been absolutamente fantastico. The American burger is better than the ones back home. The pork belly in pea puree and roast beef were lavish and presentable. It's a fun space with lots of options and a cafeteria style seating arrangement perfect for solo travelers to feel comfy eating alone. The space also has a few bars, a dessert kiosk, and charcuterie store. It's more expensive than some alternatives but the quality is high, it's convenient, and fun.

This is like a stand alone food court with a lot of interesting food. Basically the room is one big rectangle with restaurants lining the walls and tables in the center of the building. I tried out an "octopus hot dog" from one of the restaurants and it was definitely an interesting experience. I would for sure check this place out if you are with a group of people and everyone is looking to eat something different. This place is super casual and has a lively atmosphere. I'm not sure if this is consistent for all times but this place was quite busy. You will most likely need to line up to order and then wait for your food (you will be given a buzzer). In general, the prices seemed a bit high for a fast food kind of place but I still think it is worth checking out.

This place has a real buzz about it and is very cool...which unfortunately reflects on to some of the people who serve you at the stalls for whom you are an intrusion to their conversations with their mates or their looking at their phones. Don't expect a 'please' or 'thank you'
Great choice of food which was good but expensive.

Given the variety of choice, this is a great stop for groups with disparate tastes. Everyone will be able to find something tasty, but seating can be challenging for a larger group when it gets busy. The atmosphere is busy, but the space can handle a crowd and it ends up feeling very energetic. We didn't get to stop at all the shops, but they seem to hold a similar quality standard to the food establishments. If you are on the fence trying to please everyone, this should solve your problem!

This place is great. A food court on steroids! Some great Lisbon restaurants all in one place- you pick a type of food you want (seafood, burgers, pizza, etc.) and be prepared to be blown away. There is some great ceviche, amazing charcuterie, and huge burgers with all kinds of toppings. The sushi here looks great too (haven't tried it yet). Definitely worth a visit (or two)!

For some reason people call it must see place. I don't understand why.
It's a big hall packed with stands which serves different kind of food.
It's not cheap, it's not a local food either.

The place is crowded, people are racing for a spot to sit. If you found one you have to guard it well otherwise vultures, as a one guy called it, will take it away from you.

We chose the cheapest option - hamburgers for around 10 EUR each.
The three star rating is solely for the food. The burger was absolutely special. Quality of the food compensated overall mediocre experience a little bit.

If you want to have a wide range of dishes but with a more space you should choose LxFactory instead.

Love this market. It's sort of like food court in a way since you can get your food from many different stalls. But the quality is like in real restaurants. The truffle pizza is really good. Egg tart is nice. Great pastries. The exterior is also beautiful.

Great variety of food from Italian to Asian and of course Portuguese. It can get very crowded and if you go in the evening especially on a weekend you might have a hard time finding a place at one of the tables.

A very good selection of restaurants serving portugese specialities located under one roof. Be prepared to try out many dishes and visit many restaurants in the vicinity. Love the concept of this place and the atmosphere is very good during the night.

Great dinner options and nice that everyone can find something they like. Only negative is that the seating is a bit limited for the dinner time rush so you might have to take several laps until you can pounce on the seats of someone leaving.

Lots of restaurants to try, though some of the stalls on the outer ring were closed on Sunday night. There were lots of people already at 7:30 and so if you are here with a big group, it may be hard to get a space. But the selection is almost too much to choose! :)

Take Time to Enjoy the Time-Out Market - While walking along the boardwalk in Lisbon, we noticed a lot of people exiting a large building with tasty looking food. We went inside and discovered one of our favorite places in Lisbon, the Mercado da Ribera (owned by Time Out Market). Inside there are 35 kiosks offering amazing regional and specialty foods. In the middle of the building there are common tables which allow everyone in your party to get what they want and then meet to eat and discuss their new discoveries. Don t miss the Portuguese custard tarts or the ice cream. Delicious.

This historic market hall houses different food stalls, each with their own concept and cuisine. It is very interesting to stroll around and choose various items to create your own collage of a menu tailored to your preferences. After you find a space at a table (which was a miracle on the night we went; Portugal was playing football on a big screen), one of you offers to utilize himself/herself physically as a reservation pawn, while the other orders food. When the person comes with his/her buzzer awaiting to be summoned when the meal is ready, you may have your turn to do the same. Hopefully, you would both end up eating at the same time together on that common wooden table.

I visited the food court multiple times the last weekand everytime the food was fantastic. The place is curated meaning that businesses get invited to have a stand because they are considered the best. The hall does get loud, but that's how it's built and it doesn't pretend like it's anything more than a food hall. I wish there would be a few more bathroom stalls and a tick cleaner, but at least they are still free.

Lot of world dishes in only one place. Food is good, you don't have to wait a lot to get your dish, even though it's very crowded. For that reason, it's not a place to peacefully enjoy the dinner due to the lack of simple tables for groups.
Anyway, it's a good place.

The food was good but it's not worth it because of the crowd. Took us 20 minutes to find a table to stand at (not even sit). There are so many restaurants nearby that are probably just as good and way less crowded. Overhyped.

Nothing short of a rabble in a cattle market.

Nothing short of a rabble in a cattle market.

After taking 25 mins to park the car, we eventually made it inside. Faced with the huge crowds, long queues, and lack of seating anywhere, we decided not to bother staying.

Plenty of very good and reasonably priced restaurants in the surrounding area, so can't see the attraction of this 'barn' over a more civilised dining experience elsewhere.

Good luck to the vendors here, but don't waste your time otherwise.

This is the best place to eat in Lisboa, there are numberous meals from all cuisines of the world. From portugese to chinese and everything is very delicious. Prices are okay, and energy is great. It even has dancing nights on some days and you must try burgers and sangria with fruits.

Various options of providers, with stalls offering all sweets or pastry (even a Mateigaria!!), some just tapas, and others more common portugese food. There s also a more international side with pizza/sushi/poke bowl and co.

It s relatively crowded starting noon time, so it s not the easiest thing to find a seat if you re not alone.

The vendor we went with even offered octopus hot dog, but they were already out of some meals and drinks options by the time we reached
