I got my car towed to your dealership on Thursday ...

I got my car towed to your dealership on Thursday April 13, 2017. I called the following morning to make sure they had all the information they needed, I was told that they had put it in the system and would give me a call. I recieved a call back later that day saying that they had not had the opportunity to look at it and they would look at it tomorrow. Then Saturday April 15, 2017 I got a phone call at about 3:00 pm and was told that they had not had the opportunity to get it in and that they would do it on Monday (seeing as Sunday was Easter). On Monday I received a phone call saying that it was the engine. I provided them with the contact information for my extended warranty company. My extended warrenty company needed information from me and told you guys I would give you a call back. I tried to call back Monday after work I there was no answer on the phones and when I tried to call in Tuesday I received the same thing (no answer). On Wednesday April 19, 2017 at 8:30 I called and asked if I could pay over the phone and have it towed somewhere else. I was told my paperwork needed to be processed and that they would call me back. Two hours passed and I had not received a call back, so I called back again. I then received the same message my paperwork was being processed and that I would receive a call back. Two hours passed again and I called to speak with a manager this time. I was told that managers were in a meeting and a manager would call me back. I explained my situation and that I have been told that I would be called back since 8:30 this morning and that nobody has reached out to me. I was simply trying to pay them so I could get my car to another place. I was told they were handling my paperwork and that somebody would call me back. I asked to be placed on hold to wait since that someone was handling my paperwork. After being placed on hold for 30 minutes I was then hung up on. By this time I was over it. I called my father and he called up to the dealership. I have no clue what he said but my paperwork was processed and my car was released in 10 minutes after his phone call. I will never return to this dealership.

I wanted to thank Nathan and Mark from the sales team, and the whole dealership for a very fine purchasing experience at Tim Lally Chevrolet in Cleveland OH. They certainly represented the dealership very well, and made my experience one to remember while purchasing my new Silverado.

Nathan was very professional during the whole purchasing process, and very knowledgeable about my vehicle to help me make a good decision. He worked hard from beginning to end and made me feel like a valued customer. He and Mark were very fair with pricing and value, and were very transparent with the process. Everything from the finance team to the detail team were working hard to make sure all the details were taken care of timely. I can honestly say that I would certainly do business with the Tim Lally team again in the future.

Sincerely,
Michael Anderson

A few months ago I got charged $350 for a fuel filter for hesitation, that wasn't even the problem, I called and spoke to a woman and said my problem hasn't been fixed, she said she would have someone give me a call, no one never did, so I went back up there a few weeks ago to have the problem fixed and instead of them correcting their wrong they tried to get me to spend another $500 dollars and the shop manager told the customer svc rep if that isn't the problem we have to talk, on top of that I have a check engine light on to give specific code for the problems, and then they try to sell me a brand new car face to face and by mail, I'm like if you won't fix a hesitation problem I brought in for originally why would I give repeat service on buying another car.
no one showed me either that I needed a fuel filter to begin with. But wanna charge 500 more to play guessing games and my account was heavily noted.

It has been over a week since I was in to talk about a trade. I given all of my personal information; I've had 3 inquires on my credit from them; and no call back or information on a possible trade in. I do not recommend Tim Lally Chevrolet to anyone. There sales team is slow and make false promises. Very bad service.

This was my second time around getting a car at Ti...

This was my second time around getting a car at Tim Lally Chevy and it won t be the last. I first dealt with Alex Reed in 2015, who was very knowledable, friendly, and passionate in his interactions. He made what is typically a frustrating and tedious event of buying/leasing a car into something that was enjoyable.

As my lease was ending soon, I ventured back to Tim Lally for another vehicle. I found that Alex had moved to a new department and wouldn t be able to help me. He said he would set me up with someone who was like minded as him and would give the same level of service he did. Enter John Kuivila.

I give 150% credit to John for putting up with me. I m a researcher at heart and I try my best to get the most of my money. I probably asked at least 50 questions, maybe even 100. About the car, about alternative options, about finances, pretty much everything you could think of. And John answered all of my questions with understand, patience and a great sense of humor. I felt that he truly worked WITH me, instead of trying to get the best deal OUT of me. He was transparent in his work and his logic, and was upfront about costs, even giving options for different payments and such.

He was more available than I could ever imagine, answering questions for me after closing hours via text and email. He followed up with me within minutes of a text, which is unreal when you think about how busy everything is.

I highly recommend Tim Lally Chevy as a whole. I ve had friends and family go to them for their cars and have been completely blown away by their service. If you do end up going there, ask for John, and you will experience buying a car in the most positive way.

It s kind of sad how no one called me back about a car after I said I ll pay it in cash. I asked if they could find a car around that they could bring in and I never got a call back it s been about 2 1/2 weeks. I had a nice talk with the sales man really cool people there I just wish they would do their job and call me back. So you missed out on really nice customer that was looking forward to buying other cars in the future!

Nice facility, friendly sales people, good selection, did not seem to want to work to hard to sell me a car. They came back with a price that was way to high and did not try to find any other solutions. I went to another dealership that came pretty close to giving me thedeal I was looking for.

I've never dealt with a more pushy, untrustworthy staff. I was told that repairs would be $1200 to fix my car and that all of the fuel lines were rusted and seeping. However, I took it for a second opinion. It took 30 minutes and $89 to repair just 1 fuel line that had a hole. The other 2 were completely fine. Your staff was trying to get me to purchase a new car, in fact 4 phone calls in less than 48 hours. Then once I got to the dealership to pick up my car to take it to a second opinion they wanted me to pay for "diagnosis". I brought it in because a previous dealership told me if I ever smelled gasoline to take it to the nearest dealership because it could be part of a warranty/recall on the fuel pump. And I told the service person I was not interested in an Allstate insurance quote and after 3 times of telling him I was uninterested I just signed the paper anyway because he wouldn't take no for an answer. I am extremely upset with the service I received and under no circumstance will I ever return.

Employees did not wear masks while walking around dealership and bathroom. My car was finish and I had to tell the staff that it was done. After one hour and thirty minutes, I looked outside to see my car ready in the parking lot and I had to notified the staff worker to complete my paperwork for the cashier. I was double charged for my visit and working on getting that fixed.

Stephanie Malfarra made sure that I was quickly taken care of and got my vehicle back as soon as possible. She checked to ensure that my battery replacement was still covered under warranty, which it was. While I was waiting I had a nice visit with Brenda Milliner, the person who sold me my Equinox. She remembers who I am and always says 'Hi' when I'm in for service. She even got me a bottled water. :-)

Matt Nagy is a most excellent service writer. He deserves a raise or promotion. On my recent visit he allayed all my fears and answered all my questions and went way beyond expectations to get me in and out in a timely manner. He handled all my recalls so I dont have to come back for awhile, did the safety check and rotated my tires. I found out I have an engine block heater in my Chevy 2500HD Duramax Diesel that I didnt even know I had, thanks to the recall letter from Chevy. My Ford-loving husband is so jealous! I am now ready for snowplowing season thanks to Matt Nagy and Company at Tim Lally Chevrolet. I love this guy!!! And the only reason I keep coming back when I need service for my #BigRig!!!

The day before leaving on my way to Florida in my 2005 Corvette, I visited Tim Lally Chevrolet to see if there might be something I was interested in buying. I was met with a great selection of the new Corvette design. There were at least 10 vehicles to select from and compared to previous experience at other dealers, this made shopping easy. After about an hour of sitting in all of them (and discussing color choices with my wife) and a test drive of my favorite, Mike Lally and I had lunch and went over the paperwork. With the internet I was familiar with what a fair trade of a 2005 Corvette would be and by the end of lunch we had a deal. I drove my new Corvette home and headed for Florida the next day. It was almost too easy. This is my fourth Corvette with Tim Lally Chevrolet. All were great experiences

Ok my name is Adam and I had a very irritating experience at Tim Lally Chevrolet in Bedford, Ohio. I dont know why it took me a year to write this, but I dont want anyone to go through what I did. This is a very long story, so I will sum it up. Last year in October I bought an 06' Mitsubishi Galant Gts. It looked very clean and nice but was way above my budget. So I went for it anyways. It had 60,000 miles on it and they wanted 13,000, which was about a grand overpriced at the time according to kelley blue book. They rushed me to buy it and sign papers, which I really didnt like or trust. Then my brakes start making this loud clicking noise when I would drive slow. I brought it in and they siad they couldnt fix it because it was foreign car. So they took it to a little auto shop they work with, only to find out that they couldnt fix it somehow. I also had to walk about 2 miles back to Tim Lally for a rental car about 3 times, until I just gave up...next my check engine light turns on because a sensor was bad. Then I had to send it to a Mitsubishi dealership to get repaired with no rental. So I was back and fourth to repair shops trying to get my new car to run correctly. I eventually gave up and took it as a loss, but now im struggling to pay $300 a month for four more years for an unreliable car!! I will NEVER go to Tim Lally again and I tell everybody to stay away from them, so id advise you to do the same.

Their service department is unnecessarily slow. I waited over 3 hours for my car to get an estimate about damage that resulted from my engine light being on. I wasn t charged because they made a mistake the first time I brought it in for the engine light, so that was the only plus.

Glad I stopped at Tim Lally on way home from a bad experience at another dealership. From the start my experience was amazing!! Joe V was my salesman and I stated where I needed to be payment wise and he worked with my needes with no hassle. I am loving my new equinox. They work with our scheduling needs and made picking the car up and signing the paper easy and relaxing. Will definitely be going back when time for new vehicle!!

Had a decent experience in their service dept, so ...

Had a decent experience in their service dept, so I headed back to the sales dept a few years later, bad choice.

The salesmen (and it took 4 of them doing nothing for hours while we were there) first told me they didn't have any booklets describing the features of the cars because they "don't use them" (no- the dealer has to order and pay for them from GM, something they were just not willing to do), then when I described the new car I was looking for they took us out into the lot (on a cold Dec. morning when the lot was COVERED in black ice- my salesperson even fell into a car) and walked me up every isle asking if I "saw anything I liked" despite having already given them the exact packages colors etc of the car I wanted, because they couldn't just look on the computer to see if they had one that matched, like I could tell what tech packages were inside cars covered in snow and ice..

Then they appraised my trade in over 1300 less than what I got later at another dealer, and had to be begged to even bring it up $200 from their original low bid, They told me that they could not order a car that I wanted since they did not have it because it would take around 4 months (lies- I checked with the Lordstown plant where they build the cruze I'm looking for, its 4-6 weeks).

Then when they started doing finance stuff the manager offered me a "fann-taaas-tiiic rate" of 4.9%... as a GM family member, which they were well aware of, I'm already promised a starting point of 1.9%, they didn't believe me until I had to get out my phone and show them their own website.

It was just so many lies, took them forever to do anything despite being the only people there, and SO not worth anyone's time. When they did come back with prices they started the game of how much can you pay per month rather than giving the price of the car to try and trick consumers, writing and then re-scribbling all over both sides of a sheet of paper rather than giving clear and concise responses.

To me with the lack of the booklets, and their giant sign missing (dealers have to pay a monthly fee to GM to have those big logo signs up, or have them taken away) it looks like Tim Lally is a dealership either horribly cheap, or in financial hardship, offering crap deals to try and make the difference and hope that their customers are uneducated enough to take them. Please don't be duped by such horrible business practices!

Went in for service on scary electrical issues and car powering down. Check engine reading turbo assembly and throttle positioning sensors. They ran diagnostics and I was called within two hours of drop off to tell me it was my Turbo assembly and would be $1500.00 before tax for parts and labor. It seems that they simply read the check engine codes and couldn't find any other less expensive, obvious causes so they just went with that. Nothing like being ripped off every time I visit this service department.
