This place is so cool and has the history of timmies which is really cool

This location is the first Timmies that was opened and it is so cool, there is an exhibit on the upper floor of a 1970's donnut shop

It's nice because it was the first stop on the way to work. Even better now with the upstairs. I think they should make it a little more recognized as being the first Time Horton's of all time.lt would probably bring more business as a chat topic also. P. S. Grzegorz, Tim Horton's hasn't made dutchies for a long time now. True, but just having a little fun.

This is just the best Tim hortons location in town. It also happens to be the flagship store. Who knew!!

The very first Timmies. Wow!!! Unfortunately, they had to renovate so the decor is not vintage. (So many opportunities lost) But they have merchandising, so all is not lost. If you enjoy Tim Horton's, and let's face it, who doesn't, this is a destination location. A plaque and a statue round out the experience. Plan on spending a few minutes more than it takes to grab a double-double and savour the moment. Reflect on the genesis of a Canadian Institution.

Incredibly slow, disorganized and dysfunctional service. Waited 40 minutes for a simple sausage english muffin, during that time they had messed up several skip the dishes orders, and built up a huge queue outside.

This place is like a museum. They even sell Tim Hortons merchendise.

This Timmies is great. It's amuseum (I remember most of the displays), the bronze statue of Tim Horton is impressive, meeting area upstairs was spacious and saw people playing board games with soft chairs, stools downstairs and the quick service was good considering the size of thier working area. There's an elevator to the top lounge but there wasn't any room for the line to go except outside.

The manager Kevin is a scum bag and I cannot believe this company lets him represent their chain. I recently interviewed some staff here who ALL said they felt he was unfit, and they would all leave as soon as they could find suitable alternatives. While on one of my visits here Kevin spoke with another member of his team and said: I do not care about the quality of the service you provide, simply the volume of people in the door and the amount of money they spend. This manager also has inappropriate tendencies towards his staff members, and I do not think Tim Hortons has done anything to investigate these matters.

If your in the Hamilton area this is a must stop. Working Tim Hortons downstairs at the Original store #1 location. With a nice seating area and little museum upstairs. Not sure if they still do but they had Tim Hortons collectables you can buy. I got a great baseball t-shirt a few years back.

Coffee was cold and the "heated muffin " was even colder. The manager was arrogant, mean and had a bad attitude when I asked to get new items. Won't visit this location again!

Pretty good vibes when you walk into the first Tim Hortons store. Home of the double-double.

The line up is horrible here, u stand outside in a line up rather then inside as horrible set up. Lots of seating room tho.

Washrooms were disgusting. I walked out without using. Passed on the coffee too. Sad as this is a museum. Magnifies the decline of the brand.

Quick Courteous service. Good donuts. But I find the coffee , to taste a little burnt..

Always clean and nice. The seating is very comfortable and the large open windows make the place feel even bigger! It's a lovely place to read and get a coffee.

Food is always fresh and they always have the best selection!

The original Tim's! Though it's a shame they tore the first one down, in it's place they've built a great location complete with a museum honouring their roots. Hands down my favourite Tim's as far as aesthetics go.

Always a line ...and where u line up. It's in the doorway so after you've ordered you get to try and fight your way out of the store with everyone standing in line didn't really think this one through did they

Rude, unhappy staff and slow service at this particular location. Strange front lobby design leads to crowding in the lines. Worth visiting once to see this flagship store, otherwise, I'd avoid this place. There's many other Hortons nearby offering the same coffee and food with better service.

Cool store with a mini museum upstairs. My 3 stars is really just because the girl that helped us was so unfriendly it was like talking to a robot. Most Tim Hortons I have visited you get such friendly service. I was just surprised to finally visit the place it all started and having someone serve me that looks like they hate their life. That s the vibes I got....maybe it was her off day.

The original location but nothing like it used to be. No longer serve peanut covered donuts. The location is clean and neat

It's so great to visit this Tim Horton's since it was the first one. The upstairs is excellent with comfortable seating near the fire place, many moments from Tim Horton's history as well as a TH store front the way they used to look. The large bronze statue of Tim Horton outside the front door is impressive.

Excellent staff. Pedro the baker let me eat one of the 1960's timbits that was on display.

The coffee and donuts were great.The person loitering on the second floor watching his iPad and flossing his teeth...totally unacceptable.

It is a 2 story building, first floor being the store itself. The top being a museum and a sit in area.

Definite place to check out if you are in the area!

The museum upstairs certainly is pretty neat, and the washrooms upstairs are well maintained, but there are several displays upstairs with burnt out lights. The biggest frustration I have with this location is that during my recent visit, the outlets beside the fireplace weren't working. Tim's has the wifi, they have the food, they have ample seating, but it makes it hard to study if your laptop can't get a charge. I know it might not be a huge deal for those looking to get their double double & dutchie and leave, but when studying at home isn't an option, it sucks.

There're some original merchandise such as Tshirts, hoodies n clock which we can buy only first Timmies here.

This was the original location that Tim Horton initially created. It now has a full museum on the second level, and a fully functioning coffee outlet on the main floor. Hard to believe they've been around for that long...

I asked if one of the soups were vegetarian and the cashier told me she can t advise me on ingredients and that I have to contact head office and that no one there can tell me if it s vegetarian. Every other restaurant will let me know what is or isn t vegetarian. Why are you being sketchy?

Blah! But the Tim Hortons museum upstairs is fun to visit.

Not only a nice place to sit down for a coffee or tea alone or with friends, but a place to learn more of the Tim Hortons history. When in Hamilton please stop by.

I've been going to this location everyday for the past four years and have always had exceptional service. The staff is excellent and do a great job

The staff here deserves six stars but, unfortunately, I can only give five. This place provides the type of outstanding customer service you only see in training videos. One young guy in particular has such a sunny disposition and he makes me laugh every time. Best location in the city, hands down!

I bet you know that this is the very first Tim Hortons location! It's two-storey building where on the second floor is a museum and a lot of space to relax while having coffee an muffins.

I like the building its structure and stuff but i found a hair clump in my dount eww

I don't like how Tim's rewards works like I made my 7th purchase and was told I had to wait a half hour to get my reward like that is the stupidest rule ever

A boutique coffee shop for those on a budget. The coffee is so rich in flavour that they use 18% cream to tone it down. This is the kind of coffee place you bring a first date, a scratch card or a duffel bag.

This place is extremely clean for a Tim Horton. And the staff are generally very friendly with me.

This is the very first Tim Hortons, store #1. Staff is awesome. Only one star lost because the entrance way and line is very poorly setup.

This is the slowest Tim Hortons that I have ever been to. Not because it's extremely busy, the staff is not focused. This is the first location! What a shame.
