We bought a bike brand new in 2023 and were told by Thunderbird Harley Davidson in Albuquerque our bike is worth half of what we paid for it in May 2023. The overcharged and took advantage of us!

Bought battery for my bike had 6 year old grandson with me, he wanted to sit on every bike there we had a great time. The workers there were just fantastic! good job everyone
Great location with a friendly staff. We were there to have a MOH recipient and Navajo Code Talker meet for the first time In 74 years. The staff were very professional and treated all of us very well.
I've bought 3 bikes from Thunderbird and has always been a pleasure. Very welcoming, helpful dealership and many staff members take an interest and remember their customers.
On a cross-country road trip when one of the rear dual filament bulbs went out. No problem I thought, stop by get it replaced under warranty to save a couple of bucks and get on my way; 5 minutes tops. Nope, service guy says they close in 5 minutes and I'll have to make an appointment and leave my bike there. Huh? These guys have no clue so save your time and spend your money elsewhere.
Not OEM parts, very rude management and staff. Do not take care of your bike when it is in for service, and very disingenuous about pricing and repairs. Questionably run and very shoddy work.
My husband and I make it a point to swing by any HD when we go out of town, may it be when we are on a bike or not. In this case we weren't in our Harley. Their isn't much space for parking. Once we parked at a business next door were made our way in. The facility has a nice layout but it a bit small. Their staff were very welcoming and let us know right away of their on going sales on merchandise and clearance items. The whole time we were walking around we were asked if all was ok. At the register the young ladies were very polite and friendly making conversation. Very nice experience just not much space especially when it's busy.
Received a trip inspection with a 3 hole service and the tech cut my derby cover seal in half leaking gear oil all over my bike. I fixed it myself as I was going on a trip the next AM! When I talked with Karen the service mgr she offered a few bucks off my next service? So I'm responsible for cleaning/detailing my bike, replacing the oil soaked drive belt and the new gasket, seal and oil! Not to mention cleaning my new driveway! Thanks Thunderbird Harley Davidson for all the help! Laura Armstrong!
If you want any help from these guys you better go in and dress the part otherwise you're completely ignored while handfuls of employees just stand around. If I didn't need a specific part I wouldn't waste my time here.
Thunderbird HD is one of my Happy Places. The customer services is second to none. I have visited several HD dealers and Thunderbird by far is the best. I recently bought my 2nd HD from Joaquin Martinez and thanks to him and HecLo, it was one of the smoothest processes. Finance manager was absolutely thorough and customer friendly. From the minute you walk in to the time you leave it is a great place to be.
Just bought my third Harley from here. As always the sales team made the process very smooth. Thank you especially to Dario and Big Tim for all of their help!
The worst service in the world especially as the manager in service has no consumer skills, been taking it there fo r the same issue for 2 yrs very very very very bad service, sales is awesome but what do you do when you need service? Beware really beware of the beast that works within WARNING! !!!!
This place is Amazing, customer service off the charts, took the extra step to take care of me as I was passing through from Minnesota. Anyone ever needs help in the area as they pass through this is a goto shop. Props to the Thunderbird Crew - people like your staff is what makes the extra difference. Thanks again from Minnesota.
I felt like I was carrying a deadly disease for about 15 minutes of my stay. 8 employees and not 1 asked if I could use some assistance. I even said hi to one and did not get a response. Everyone to busy playing with there phones. Very disappointed! There between 2:00 PM and 2:15 on 10/15/2019 can't miss me I'm the only one in the whole store.
I seriously wish I could leave a zero star review for Thunderbird Harley. My husband and I went to Thunderbird to purchase a bike. Not only was the bike we were interested in ridiculously overpriced, the sales associate was extremely rude & unwilling to answer any questions my husband had. I m not sure if he didn t know the answers, or was just not wanting to work that day, but the experience was horrible! Unfortunately, this isn t the first bad experience we ve had here, because dealing with the parts department is equally frustrating... Unless you re going to Thunderbird to buy merchandise, you re better off driving to El Paso, Colorado Springs, or Denver to buy your new or used Harley. I honestly miss Chick s Harley Davidson; he knew how to run a successful dealership.
Purchased a used Harley Tim was an excellent help. However took almost 4 months to get my plates. The bike broke down due to the oil drain plug was loose had to have the oil pump and cam plate replaced. Some promises took forever to get done. Never received my HOG membership as promised. The shop scratched my saddlebags. Overall there are better places like in sante Fe that I would go to next time for my Harley needs.
A buddy and I had our bikes serviced at "Thunderbird HD" back in June 2014 while on a 3 week road trip. We were both in need of new tires and had them installed. The tech who was working on my bike also noticed that my front brakes were uneven which I had them replace. The service and professionalism of the staff was outstanding. Thunderbird has Express Service with a comfortable lounge and complimentary beverages and light snacks.
Two days after being back on the road I had an accessory part came loose and was lost on the road. I notified Thunderbird HD's service manager, who was sincerely concerned for our safety and wanted to ensure no one was hurt. He then went out of his way to order a replacement part for me and shipped it to my home at no cost to me.
Thank you Thunderbird HD for taking such great care of your customers. I look forward to seeing you again on my next road trip.
I went in looking to start my Christmas shopping by buying some clothes and parts but as I was walking through the store nobody and I mean NOBODY bothered to acknowledge I existed or I was even in the store it wasn't busy at all and there was 5 or 6 employees standing around the motorclothes counter having a good time laughing and joking around but they still couldn't acknowledge me not to mention the countless employees I walked by that couldn't even smile or even say Hi! When I'm ready to go shopping again I'll make a trip to Tripps or Barnett or Santa Fe but I refuse to shop at Thunderbird unless I am in dire need.
Edit November 1, 2019: I was pleasantly surprised to hear back from the owner. They do take their Google reviews very seriously. After a good discussion we did come to a resolution and thereby I'm retracting my initial one star review to a five star just from that conversation. Even though I had struggles up front, they did a great job resolving it afterwards.
Google reviews will not allow me to fit in the entire letter I emailed the dealership. I allowed three weeks for them to acknowledge and reply and to date I still haven't heard anything. This is a truncated version: I am a traveller on a 2011 CVO and was passing through Albuquerque, storing my bike at a friend's place. I requested some work to be done on my bike which included the need for pickup and delivery. I requested a bluetooth controller to be installed as part of the work. They informed me that my stereo needed replacement at the cost over over $1000. At their mercy I agreed to this. When they delivered the bike back to my friend the battery was completely dead and the charging point left inaccessible. Easy fix but that's just the start. When I returned to pick up the bike, the bluetooth controller was not working. The old stereo was not supplied. Missing bolts in the fairing from their installation. Broken nutsert in the fairing (which I would have paid to have them fix if they would have told me), Ignition "centre switch" / Fork lock not reinstalled correctly from stereo install (this had to be removed and reinstalled to get the stereo out). This prevented me locking the forks. Then the new stereo quit working after a couple of days. I never complained about any of the cost to get the work done nor pressured them to have it done in a particular time. I just wanted it done right. I went to another HD dealer in Round Rock, TX to have everything fixed that this dealership did not do correctly. Thankfully they were professionals and had everything repaired or replaced for me under warranty where they could and I was happy to pay them some diagnostic charges and the repairs from Thunderbird. I wouldn't have posted this bad review if they'd have contacted me to try to resolve it but I feel it's important to warn anyone getting work done that there are probably better choices out there.
I purchased my Harley from them, would not do it again. The last three visits for service have been awful. Took bike in for oil change, got it back missing the rubber on kick stand. Asked where it might be, guy says you probably brought it in without one. Said he would look at techs bench to see if maybe there, could not find it. Said you need to go buy one, it is a $3 part. That was not the issue, it was the attitude. Next time took in due to a short in the wiring told would cost me 500 even after I told him I had extended warranty. He stated, I had no extended warranty and wiring was not covered anyway. I brought in my paperwork and book showing wiring was covered. Even wrote a letter to management, nothing!! Looking for different place to take my Harley as soon as PSP is done.
It was a fun and informative visit to Thunderbird. Veronica was great. She was easy to be with and shared her knowledge and experience with us. When she didn't know something she asked someone else and got the answer for us. Beautiful bikes to look at. Very nice time. Thank you so much.
Never again. Ripped me off 2 grand on a maintenance contract. Charged me for it, its on my contract, but it never went in HD's system. Lawyer up cause I sure as hell am.
A big shout out to Karen Henz and Thunderbird HD! Two of our newest members had an issue with their Vrod on the way back from a group ride to Belen last Saturday. One call to Thunderbird and Karen sent the Thunderbird truck and trailer out to pick up their bike right away. One of the many reasons they are one of the top dealers in the country! Thanks again to Thunderbird for all their outstanding support of our chapter!
Thunderbird Knows customer service! Staff in every dept. friendly and helpful! Will continue to serve all my Harley needs with them! Thanks Thunderbird Harley-Davidson
Can't say much as I only visited the website. I can say one thing though I don't want to request a quote I just want to see all the price of the motorcycles
