I have been trying to get paid for a job completed in Evansville, IN. 6 months ago, "45-60-day terms" they are 4 months late on payment. All they do is send my emails to accounting dept to get ahold of me. but no-one ever does. Work order from Thoreau Services to repair flooring at a Carters store here in Evansville, IN. They called me to fill another job and still cannot tell me what my payment status is?
Would give it 0 stars if I could. I was contacted by this company in April to do two jobs for them on a reoccurring basis. Fast forward to July 1st after completing the two jobs three time's and submitting the proper signed paper work and fighting with their customer service/payroll department have still not received any payment. The company will make promises they cannot keep and will not actually go through with payment or resolving an issue. The turn over rate there is so high that you can speak with your account rep one week and they have no idea who you are the next. Would avoid this company like the plague.
Stay away!!! This is a SCAM. Very unorganized, very complicated process to begin work for them and they purposely will give you the run-around to avoid paying you. They hired our small business for some work, kept piling the work to distract us and in the end they NEVER paid us. They ended up with all the money. I was forced to talk to and respond to well over 7 people on what I'm supposed to do about payment. I was also forced to resend invoices that "never made it" or were "incorrect", signed contracts and personal information multiple times to multiple people.
Terri is one of the people I unfortunately had to contact frequently and she is just horrible. Won't answer me back, claims my payment was closed because too much time passed, puts the blame on accounting, blames everyone else, and that is how it has been with every last person I spoke to. Everyone would blame each other.
Such a scam, everyone is incompetent and they rob/take advantage of small businesses. It shouldn't take 8 months to collect payment especially when no one answers me.
Very unprofessional and dishonest. Avoid like the plauge!
I did write a bad review for this company but after talking with the owner I'm in a better place and understanding with Thoreau Services. Nicki the owner was very helpful and understanding and she listened to me...I want to say thank you Nicki and I hope we can do business for years to come. I highly recommend Thoreau Services!!
Patti Spenrath and team are an amazing group of people to work with. You can ask any question, and get the answer, these are not one of the guessing game companies. Tell them what your overhead is, and why you want to charge this much, and 99 out of 100 times Patty and her team will find a way to make it work. If you want to work, call Patty, she will put you to work, and make you a nice pay check every week, ( If there is enough work in your market )
