Small store, but cool designs and friendly employees

Outstanding quality and customer service. Would highly recommend!!! Love my jewelry from Catbird.

Catbird is my favorite spot to find jewelry. Everyone item they sell is such high quality and they have a selection for most every budget. Their customer service is exceptional. Even when customers are packed in the small space, it's easy to get someone's attention and care. Their own line of jewelry is gorgeous and the artists' lines they feature serve those with more costumed tastes.
They also carry a great selection of gifts in the way of beauty and home. You can find nicely curated and otherwise obscure brands like French Girl and Rodin there.
I must mention their candles. The Catbird candles are my favorite made even better with frequent buyer program (buy a certain number, get one candle free).
Overall, the selection and customer service as well as the overall ethos of Catbird keeps me returning regularly. I always make a point to bring out-of-towners to the store to take something home and have a very difficult time leaving empty-handed when I'm looking at their new designs.

ZERO STARS!! Very shady business practices, took $2000+ from my best friend! She ordered online and had 3 wedding bands shipped with the 'Promise' of returning 2 within 10 days. However, when she attempted to return them, customer service first ignored her, then told her they were "custom items and were non returnable"... Lies and Bait and Switch sales! Terrible way to treat a bride!!

Honor her the return your salesperson promised her and give her her money back!!

This place was okay. Meaning; small simple and cozy. It's a bit pricey but it's for the ladies, and guys just remember that it's the little things that count.

I got the Bali Sapphire Ring from Catbird. It's so lovely, and came beautifully packaged. When I needed a repair done a year later, they were so helpful and patient with me (I was a wreck from damaging my ring). I would gladly buy from them again. Great products and great customer service!

So far so happy! One day I noticed my coworker had the cutest studs and day by day she kept changing it up. I finally asked her where she got them from and she happily told me CATBIRD. She said the prices are reasonable and you can find various items in different price ranges. So I said Nina treat yourself so I purchase the kitten ear studs and had it delivered to my local catbird store. So I received confirmation that my order was ready and I went to the store on bedford and picked up my pair of cute earrings . Not only was the service fast and efficient the gal was very friendly and I even received a tote. I m proudly using that tote and will continue to be a shopper for the near future.

Small and comfortable shop. Walked in during one of the busiest time of the year and walked in not knowing what I was looking for. After looking around I went on their website to have a glance and one of the sales girls there helped me out.

I showed her what I wanted to look at and she went to check to see and didn't see it in store, went, then checked a couple other places and not seeing it she checked their inventory at their other store. As she was doing so, I continued browsing and looking at their site, when she came back she informed me they had a couple at their other store and the location. I showed her the other ring I was looking at and asked if they had it at the other store also and she did say yes, they have all the options there. She showed me the 2nd ring I was looking at and without any need to look at anything else I decided on it and took it to go.

In the last 2 months I ve had an ongoing correspondence with the lovely people at catbird about my order and also just over Instagram dm s. Their customer service is amazing, they really made me feel seen and heard and appreciated. They Are going above and beyond to get orders out to customers, even going so far as to ship from their homes. And of course the jewelry is perfection!! I m going to be a customer for life! Thank you to all the wonderful people behind the scenes that have brought this little bit of magic to our homes during a crazy time. I can t wait to be back in person and get zapped again

My boyfriend bought me a Christmas present from Catbird: Dewdrop Stud Earring! Yes, earring not earrings. He overlooked the fact they were sold in singles, & we couldn't really afford the second earring. I e-mailed Catbird customer service about why I didn't receive a tote with the $100+ purchase (I bought it before they started the advertisement) and explained my situation. They gave me a code for 15% off, which put my grand total at $100.30- just enough to get the totebag and save money. Saskia helped me, and she was so genuine and helpful. I've always wanted something from Catbird. Now I'll always keep coming back!!

We feel like we get high quality customer service, competitive pricing, and superior quality and craftsmanship. We are very happy customers and feel like the team here is honest and has high integrity.

Located on Williamsburg's busiest street, Catbird offers a variety of pieces by many international designers in addition to their beautiful in-house talent. Because it is so well-frequented, I regularly have a difficult time moving around trying to look at what is on display. Still highly recommend as they offer a wide range, from more affordable simple pieces to delicate, ornate pieces with correlatively high prices. Personally, I love/recommend the Kataoka & Sofia Zakia pieces!

I have several pieces from Catbird and I love them all. Beautiful and interesting jewelry. The downside is the pieces are very expensive and you can find similar jewelry of the same material and quality on Etsy for a better price. That said, I like supporting Catbird and the store is nice to be able to see things in person before buying.

Oh Catbird how I love thee! I've been a long time customer, and truly enjoy popping into this special little store to pick out a new dainty piece. It's a wonderful spot for gifts, or to treat yourself. Today this review is more for the online support than the store or products. I recently ordered a ring and had some issues with the order - the customer service department was quick to help me out, and one particular person went above and beyond. Kat, you rock! I shall now nickname Catbird, Katbird. :)

Love this place! I buy most of my jewelry here. My husband and I even bought our wedding bands here! Beautiful designs, woman owned business, charitable, and uses conflict free diamonds.

I never visited the store my orders were placed online. You cannot review products on their website and I can tell why. In the past month, I ordered and received two different rings from their website the first one broke within 12 hours of wearing it. It was also smaller than I was hoping so I returned it for a different ring. Now, my $275 ring that is "14k gold" us turning my finger very very green the worst part is I can't even return it because I do not want their damn store credit again. I would never recommend this store to anyone.

I ve been a customer for a while, and I always love the little gifts that come with a purchase. But this last box... so much cuter than the rest! I had never received the glitter tape, postcard, little golden flower, sticker, and pen with catbird in golden letters; thank you very much htt !

WOW!!! This place is definitely a not-to-miss gem!!! They take such great care in wrapping your gift and making sure you feel so special opening and receiving the order. Love everything they sell and the service they offer. I randomly stumbled upon this boutique months ago and managed to sneak back in when the kids were out for a playdate. I came in here looking for something precious for the love of my life, that would be my momma, she isn't terribly fancy or a Glitz & Glamour lady but still appreciates beautiful, sparkling, responsibly made jewelry which is what Catbird is all about.

All of the jewelry Catbird offers is on the very teeny-tiny side! Think smallish, thin, sparkly pieces with an understated elegant presence better suited for Individuals who prefer this to all out bling in your face jewelry.

Stopping in to shop here was a bit of a struggle as the Boutique is sooo dang small, was overrun with cult shoppers and if you don't know, you do now, I absolutely dislike small, tight, tiny shops, cafes or boutiques, period... but because the website images differ from real life I needed to stop in store to get a better sense of sizing. I recommend most people stop in here before blindly buying online from Catbird, the jewelry is seriously tiny! If you are a lady of size and substance (hahaha) I like that one, meaning your not a very petite size 6 for reference then this style of jewelry may not be for you, the jewelry is very nice but it won't have the same presence on if your a plus size lady.

I sincerely hope Catbird considers sizing up in their offerings.

Nice understated yet elegant jewelry. Limited silver/white gold options, though. Their diamonds are not of the best quality have tend to have a high number of inclusions, but that s what you get for the price.

The staff has always been very helpful and kind to me; I had a problem with my earrings and they replaced them without hesitation. My diamond necklace needed a good cleaning and they did it for me immediately.

I'm a candle hoarder and Ghost Rose is one of my favorite smells. I've also discovered some great other makers thanks to Catbird, like Atelier Austin Press and Astier de Villatte.

Lovely store and staff. Jewelry is overpriced and looks like it was made by a toddler. Quality is beyond subpar...on the same level as forever 21.

Usually I have phenomenal customer service here, someone greeting me at the door, but the one girl at the door gave me the nastiest look as I gave in and wasn t very willing to help me (a paying customer who spent $80 there that day) after sighing and rolling her eyes, she then decided to help. Visited at the weekend, so the place was packed but the staff were helpful and friendly, despite the hustle and bustle. This super girly store has lots of cute bits and pieces that would make nice gifts, including delicious-smelling scented candles and rather pricey rings, necklaces etc.

Was looking for an engagement ring and visited both the main store and wedding annex (only by appt). Cute designs but the rings are overpriced considering the size/quality of the gems. They also cannot customize. Customer service leaves much to be desired, especially considering the experience you can find elsewhere.

Jewelry is beautiful, but customer service needs a lot of work at their store in Williamsburg. My boyfriend and I felt completed unwelcomed in the store for the entire experience, and though I ordered my merchandise online and went to the store for pickup, the way the salesman grilled me about my identification details to verify I was the person picking up made me very uncomfortable. If I hadn't purchased already, I would've left everything right there. No one was friendly, no one asked us anything about any of the items I was looking at, and to be honest they looked pretty shocked that I was purchasing anything at all. I know I wasn't imagining it, since the first thing my boyfriend said as we left was, "did you see the way they were looking at us?"

My wedding band, the Wwake diamond cluster ring, had bent so I sent it in for repair. When I got it back I was devastated to find that my diamonds had been replaced with some other stone with no brilliance. Shame on Catbird and Wwake! What an awful thing to do. If you are shopping for wedding or engagement PLEASE GO ELSEWHERE!!! I would hate for this to happen to anyone else.

Sweet little feminine shop selling delicate jewellery (such as their famous stackable rings), Tocca perfumes and girly little bits'n'pieces. Prices are high but most items here are special gift items rather than something you'd buy off the cuff. Very beautiful displays, though; shopping here does feel special.

They deserve all the stars in the world. I work in customer service and I was shocked with how great Catbird's customer service is. I wish every company was like this! When running a business and selling a product you are always going to have issues but it is how you deal with them that makes you stand out. I bought a very thin ring from them and I loved it so much. I wore it everyday and after a few years it snapped. I work as a server and am always using my hands. So this ring really held up!!! When I contacted them about repairing it they send me a return label no questions asked and fixed it and sent it back with a super cute card. I get to ware my favorite ring again! When ever I am in New York I definitely want to make a stop in and will be buying more from them!

Ordered a locket based on photos on line and in a magazine. When I ordered I found the chain, which was in the photos, was sold seperately. When it arrived I found it is tiny and much smaller than it appears in photos. Size is listed on line so I guess it's my own fault, but the advertising is deceptive. Packaging was also sub par. Chain arrived in a knot ball. Took me forever to straighten out. I also asked for the free gift wrapping and a card, neither of which happened. My wife will keep it, but Overall disappointed with the experience.

I ordered the tiny gold key with engraving and I am obsessed! It's so delicate and special. Fast shipping and adorable packaging!! You can tell they work hard and offer high quality, beautiful jewelry!

Such a great little boutique! I loved looking at all their stuff online for years, and then when I moved to Williamsburg the real thing did not disappoint! I love their dainty, trendy jewelry and all the candles smell so good! I love coming here to get gifts for friends or housewarming presents! Only thing I don't understand is why they need so many employees working in there at one time - it's crowded to begin with.

The best boutique if you re willing to splurge on some beautiful dainty jewelry. Truly one of a kind pieces for any occasion. I recommend trying to go during off-peak hours. Due to the limited space it can get very tight during peak times. The sales associates are very sweet and showcase the jewelry impeccably on themselves!

I ordered earrings from catbird during the start of the pandemic. They were closed down in store so shipments were delayed. They were very communicative and offered alternatives throughout which was great! I also love the earrings I bought! I haven t found anything like them anywhere else. Yes, the jewelry is expensive but you are paying for a quality materials and service. Additionally, one of the earrings broke and getting it fixed was a breeze working with the customer service time. I don t think that speaks to the low quality of the piece as it is a very fine material (the look of the design) and I wear them every day! Just mentioning it because repairs/return was so easy. I can t wait to order more from them!

I love Catbird! Sarah was very sweet and offered me helpful tips on how to create a stack, which I'm super obsessed with. She also offered to clean my engagement and wedding band which I also purchased from Catbird a year before. I felt like Sarah went above and beyond to help me and this left a really positive impression on me :) :)

I am from Canada and ordered an engagement ring from Catbird and I found their customer service to be excellent.

There are complications with returning jewelry across borders and their representatives were very accommodating. I also had a tight timeline to get my ring up to me, along with special shipping requests and Catbird accommodated everything.

I have spent a lot of money here on sparkly things. Every year I buy myself birthday jewels with their birthday discount. Why? Because I'm awesome. Staff are knowledgeable and helpful.

Cute items to buy, but the customer service wasn't that great. The 4 girls in the front were free, but all of them were talking to each other and didn't seem to want to help me out. Go across the street and check out Soo An's store, she has similar item ie stackable rings for much less and better customer service.

Visited Catbird a couple of weeks ago on my visit to Brooklyn. The minute I entered the store I felt welcomed by the staff and the ambiance of the store.

The purpose of my visit was specific, and someone was able to instantly help me out. I wish I remembered the associates name ( ). I wanted my piece engraved but I wasn t gonna be in NY long enough for the process. She was able to offer me free shipping to Toronto for my piece.

The item I got is the mini key charm. It s the most adorable piece and I absolutely love it.

Beautiful store with all kinds of gorgeous jewelry to meet any budget. While the store is quite small and bustling with visitors most days, the staff here are always friendly and more than happy to help you find the perfect gift.
They sell a cute variety of gifts for your home, work desk and even for the little human in your life. Not a real trip to Bedford without stopping in here.

When you want to escape the busyness of Bedford Avenue, duck into Catbird, one of Williamsburg's quiet gems. The jewelry store has chains of all lengths, tokens of charms, and a selection of stones and baubles to make anyone stare in envy. For blushes of sorts, Catbird sells a selection of vibrators. Great place for purchasing presents and self treats.

I love Catbird. A gorgeous necklace I got as a birthday present broke, and I brought it in completely prepared to pay for repairs, and they gave me a replacement one with no hesitation without having to pay a cent.

The jewellery selection here is simply amazing. I love the design, the quality and the fact that a great number of them are made locally. However, the sales assistants are a completely different story. The whole idea is the less you bother them, the better. God forbid if you need to ask them some questions about the product you're buying. Oh and don't expect a thank you or even some basic human conversation after you're paying for it either.

Love my wedding band from here! It arrived in the mail today a full 3 weeks earlier than expected because I let Saskia know that I needed it sooner than the 4-5 week lead time. Great customer service (someone always answers the phone within 2 rings), and when the staff says they will do something, they mean it. I will definitely be buying another ring from here soon because I realize I want a stack!
