All the hardware and tech resources are exceptional. However, I cannot fathom why SCAD s administration would build the digital media building in such a scary and sketchy part of town. There s gang graffiti and sketchy buildings surrounding the property. It s so unsafe considering that college aged people have to commute and live here.

Pros: Great hardware and software, clean and feels very modern. Also has Carnival, the best SCAD dining facility.

Cons: It's an old coffin factory. There are no windows or natural light where you are working. Time ceases to be linear, and you can easily become lost if you don't know the layout.

Academic building for the school of digital media....

Academic building for the school of digital media. I love the new upgrades to the building like the extra wall space, waterproof carpeting, and large windows in the common hall area. The building is available 24/7, and I've never had any problem with parking. Hardware and software is always up-to-date. The layout of the rooms can be a bit confusing though, so I'm glad they added a floor plan map next the elevators.
