Exceptional dining experience that can not be duplicated anywhere else, a bit challenging to get in but well worth the wait, everything from the tasting menu, to the service, to the wine is magnificent.

Per Se lives in a world of its own. I find it quite unique. Restaurant nicely situated, great views of Columbus. Food amazing, wine list scary, all the usual adjectives apply. What's different is the atmosphere, its actually a fun place to be. Staff likeable and interested. Here's a pasta dish. You can't see pasta 'cos it's hidden behind the biggest mound of truffle I've ever seen. Then they came back and added more! A nice touch. Loved the place, it is serious food, top class dining but also a great place to party. Thanks

Staff was very friendly! The ambience is typical for a mall, it s not special. The meal was fantastic good, but very expensive! We eat a steak salad vor 28$ without tax and tip. When you are there stay for the table water, because for the mineral water you have to pay 9$.

weeks later, my wife and i are still talking about how disappointing our dinner was here.

Service is exceptionally slow; waiting 30+ minutes plus for ordered drinks. There were also huge waits between courses; expect to wait 30-45 minutes between very small courses. We were getting really hungry and tired towards the end, given the entire experience was 3-4 hours long.

The food was not that great; it is beyond belief to me that they have 3x Michelin stars and charge so much.

Good food, great views, well trained staff ,the dining room and silverware could use a serious update, Specially the wooden rectangular light fixture with halogen lamps and lobby needs good smelling fresh flowers.

Best dinner ever. I was very lucky to be included here for a fantastic evening. Each course is better than the previous, which is hard to imagine. And each dish is so carefully prepared - the presentation is always impecable. Save room and definitely don't pregame this meal with a large breakfast or lunch. The staff is so polite and knowledgeable and does not have a single hint of arrogance, nor do they exhibit any forms of condescending behavior (which you might expect at such a nice and pricey restaurant).

This place is super cool vibes and chill place to hang. The environment is very welcoming. The food is delicious and tasty. The different varieties of sausages is mad crazy but it's drum to try something new.

This is my favorite Michelin three stars restaurant in NYC currently. The chicken chest was very juicy, and lamb was very soft. But desserts had amazed my taste bud because I never tried dessert so delicious like those before. Furthe more, the most excellent were chocolates for my after the meal. Finally, I want to say the waiter' service had affected me a lot because they offered a surprise as an extra dish for me, and they were so nice.

What an amazing experience! We were very well attended, wine selection is great! The food was well served, everything was excellent, the waiter always explained everything in detail! Highly recommend and will definitely be back!

Dinning experience at its best!
I love food and this place doesn't disappoint. The fixed menu is amazing, each dish was exquisite! Great views of Central Park. Service is amazing as most Michelin star restaurants.

We celebrated my daughter's birthday here. Service was outstanding...right up to Happy Birthday printed on our menu's. Food was excellent and one of our party was lactose intolerant and items were changed for her without exception. Wonderful experience and since one of our party is in the industry, we were treated to a tour of the beautiful kitchen as well. Great Experience!

Quite the experience - a bit biased, as this kind of food (I like to think of it as french - continental fusion... the seasonality and meat/vegetable offerings of NY, but the elevated concepts and heavy cream of french cooking) and this kind of dedicated staff service in a formal dining environment is what I look for in a splurge (and at ~$400/person, I view it as a must do, but can't afford kind of experience). The view was an aerial shot of Central Park on a comfortable couch. The iPad had 600+ pages of alcohol (which I could read for hours). Was greeted at the table with little munchie items, and had a customized menu to celebrate the occasion. Of the seven or so formal courses, I enjoyed them all - with scallops, quail and wagyu beef being the stand out proteins. The salad was served as a heart of palms gelatin which floored me, with its delicate presentation. Dessert was overwhelming, and even though I was already bloated I couldn't help myself - stand out truffles, a selection of chocolate candies, and a rich chocolate cake (as well as a bevy of other items - espresso, fresh donuts, grapes) - which I got to take home and eat for about a week afterwards... All in all it was one of the best dining experiences I've had, and if you enjoy this kind of service (which can be intimidating if you are used to informal or communal dining experiences) and this kind of food (which is quite heavy) there is no better in my opinion. Loved it.

Per Se, my go to restaurant to wine and dine clients and for special events. Never disappoints and their short ribs are to die for. They have seasonal menus and pre fixes and yes it will be very expensive but you get what you pay for. Each dish is presented like a work of art, especially the dessert dishes. The ambiance, service, food, and experience is unequal.

The menu is filled with dishes you see everywhere...so nothing special here. The waitstaff is unprofessional. They knocked over our bottle of red wine, didn't refill water glasses and consistently brought utensils to the table after the food was brought to the table and I could go on and on! Our biggest disappointment came with dessert. We both ordered the pecan tart when we placed our entree orders, but just prior to the dessert course our waiter informed us they were out of the tart.

After reading some Yelp reviews, I booked a diner at Per Se. This is the best restaurant we have been in NYC. From Food to Decor to Service everything is just perfect. Our waiter recommended a nice bottle of white wine. Will definitely go back soon.

Absolutely love this place, I had 14 course menu with special selection of paired wine.
Let's start with the view, a view that the food deserves, looks over central park, perfect for a date or special business meeting.
The food was so good I didn't even take a pictures.
Good wine that compliments the dishes.
You will leave with a box of chocolate that is so good you don't want to finish.
I only had one issue, my bill was $900+ just for me, which is absolutely fine with me, but as a person who've been to similar restaurants like Madison Square Park, I don't think asking for an (optional) tip is a good thing from such a restaurant.
(MSP) they don't ask for a tip at all.
Overall a place I will definitely vist again

What an amazing hidden gem located in Montrose! This restaurant specializes in Nashville Style Fried Chicken that is made fresh to order. I came here over the weekend with a group of people and had the luxury to taste the food.

My second visit at Per Se. They still maintain high standard of food and services. The dishes are delicate and classic. Would expect to see more creativities and surprises for next season s menu. My top 3 are gnocchi a la Parisienne, lamb, and the set of dessert. The give-away box of chocolates are also good.

Note - The tasting menu is all inclusive with service charge.

Had one of the best dining experiences of my LIFE here. Amazing service, creative and delicious combinations of flavors on every plate. Completely blown away by the food at Per Se!!!! it s an absolute must if you are ever in NYC.

Michelin Samsung feels a little disappointed, the color of the dishes, the plate is not worth Samsung, a bit too salty, lamb lamb is a bit awkward, the price is not high, will not come again. However, the service was still very good. The original 9 dishes were temporarily changed to 5, the main course lamb was not good, and the chef changed one, they all readily agreed. The service is awesome, the quality of the dishes is not comparable to Jean Geroge and the modern.

Absolutely divine! Thomas Keller and company knocks it out of the park every time I ve dined here. A terrific tasting menu with wine pairings for each dish. Each season brings a new type of cuisine to match the fruits and vegetables that are the freshest and season appropriate. The dinning room is classy and the staff is incredible. Can t wait to go back

With indoor dining starting its third week under Covid rules, an incredible meal experience made it almost possible to forget 2020... at least for a few hours.

The masked staff provided excellent, reserved service in the relatively sparse main dining area - a dramatic reduction in seating has been used to comply with Covid rules, instead of those temperary plastic barriers that are far too common at all levels of dining here in NYC.

But, the amazing wine, food, taste and presentation, is why we return - highlighted this time with courses including black truffle egg custard and langoustine boudin.

The view and service is the one of best restaurants in NYC. We booked window seats table, very nice view for Columbia Circle, only Asiata s of Mandarin Oriental NY hotel is better than it; Food is not the best we expected.

We've dined at many Michelin-starred restaurants, ...

We've dined at many Michelin-starred restaurants, including Eleven Madison Park, which some people say is better than Per Se. Those people are crazy. Not because EMP isn't great: because Per Se is that much better. We have come here several times, each time thinking it will be our last for a while because of the price... and we keep finding excuses to come back sooner. Google needs to add a sixth star for this place (and Michelin needs to add a fourth). The prices sound exorbitant, but they are perfectly balanced for the experience, quality of food, and perfection of service that you receive. Almost every dish is overwhelmingly good---absolutely beyond description. Their worst courses would be the best courses at most other high-end restaurants in the world. I don't drink much alcohol, and when I asked if they could make me a mocktail, they gave me an entire mocktail PAIRING menu that perfectly matched each dish, and each concoction was something I would drink every day of my life if I could. The waitstaff are also impeccably trained. When I shivered, a waiter brought over a tea box filled with shawls for me to pick from. I saw someone receive a padded stool for their purse to rest on. Per Se is not only the best restaurant I've ever eaten at: it's one of my favorite purchasable experiences, every time. This truly is the dinner of the gods.

This is one of the best restaurants in NYC. However, it will probably cost you an arm and a leg to eat here. I would never allow myself to come here on a regular basis but it's fine for special occasions. The tasting menu will take you 4 hours to finish and you will be beyond full. Don't forget about the multiple dessert courses as well. I actually liked the dessert courses more. If you're lucky, you can get a tour of the kitchen and talk to the head chef as well.

Everything I read about Per Se was right, the food was spectacular, the service perfect. I was on an anniversary dinner with my wife and the food, service, details, and also a tour in the kitchen was outstanding, I´ll recommend Per Se, yes it is expensive but it worth it.

They re sooooooooooooo good. Everything in this restaurant is made fresh and you can tell. All of the people who work here are lovely and obviously care a lot about the community. Absolutely try the chocolate, which is rich and spiced beautifully. Never disappoints.

It's hard to believe, but the hype is true. Delicious food in a spectacular setting prepared and served in a way that actually transcends the whole concept of "dining out." And one menu that is entirely vegetarian to boot! Chef Keller never fails to amaze me.

My husband and I are celebrating our first anniversary tonight. We were planning to travel but as I'm at month 8 of my pregnancy, we couldn't fly anywhere and decided to stay in NYC for our vacation.
We had a reservation at Per Se for dinner at 5:30pm.

From the moment we stepped in you could see the staff was so incredibly welcoming and warm. Ms. Edouard greeted us at the door, and we were quickly led to our (fantastically located) table. The view of Columbus Circle and Central Park was gorgeous, even on a rainy day like today.

I've been sober for 5+ years (and very clearly pregnant) so to celebrate Tyler offered us a champagne for Ed and an exquisite non-alcoholic cider for me. It was divine.

We went with the (non-vegatarian) Chef's tasting menu. My husband also enjoyed the wine pairing menu.

Every. Single. Dish that came out of that kitchen was a full experience. The textures, flavors, appearance, and order were beyond perfect. To emphasize: personally, I truly do not enjoy scallops. It was on the menu but I wasn't really looking forward to it, and it ended up being one of the most spactacular dishes I've ever had.

Aside from the phenomenal food, this restaurant truly did everything else right as well: the view, the ambience, the cleanliness of everything around us, down to the choice of soap fragrance in the bathroom.
But most of all the service - that was unreal. While other restaurants' staff make nice gestures that often feel quite empty, everything Tyler and his team did to make our evening special felt incredibly sincere and thoughtful.

Toward the end of the meal, Ed had mentioned to me that he would love a cigarette but didn't want to buy a pack (since he quit a few years ago) or have to search for a deli around Columbus Circle in the rain. I've discreetly mentioned this to Tyler to see if anyone on the staff smokes and can spare a cigarette.
Within-minutes, Tyler returned with two packs on a silver tray, with a cigarette leaning on each pack for Ed to choose from.
I thought Ed was going to cry. He was so happy.

After we were all done and paid. I went to the restrooms and Ed went to the hostess to retrieve our umbrella. She mentioned there was also a bag for us.
In the bag was a printout of tonight's full menu and wine pairings with a note saying "Happy 1st Anniversary", 2 boxes of delicious cookies, and (this had us in shock) a Per Se baby onesie!!

I urge you, if you can swing the cost, to book a table at Per Se. It was a dining experience like no other. I was worried to feel out of place in a 3 Michelin star establishment, but I was so incredibly comfortable from start to finish. We felt so well taken care of tonight.
Thank you to the chef, to Tyler, and the entire staff for an unforgettable first anniversary.

Delicious, and exactly what you would expect from a Thomas Keller restaurant. Although it is a fixed menu, you do get certain options on some of the plates. I loved that they had the Oysters and Pearls appetizer, just like in French Laundry, and it was just as I remembered.

The wine list is of course amazing and delicious. We were celebrating a birthday, so we got personalized menus and a cake at the end.

When you leave, you will get a ton box with almond shortbread cookies and if it s your birthday, chocolate bars.

It was overall a lovely experience, my only thing with this restaurant is its location, it is in the top floor of a shopping mall, next to other very good restaurants to be fair. That said, having to take the escalator and walk through a shopping mall kind of takes a bit away from the elegance of the restaurant and the evening.
