We had dinner in the Salon, which was perfect since it only had 5 courses. It started with a lovely hamachi amuse bouche, followed by poached oysters with caviar, beet salad, and harama crudo. My only issue with the meal was the lamb dish, as it was about 3 small bites and a bit fatty for my liking. My friend does not eat meat so he was served a wonderful piece of chicken breast. The meal was finished with a fantastic eclair with summer fruit and they brought a layered funfetti cupcake with passion fruit icing and 2 candles for our birthdays - a great touch! The service was wonderful, the wine offerings were very good and reasonable. To top things off, we were given a signed menu wishing us a Happy Birthday from the chef. We can t wait to return!

Service was wonderful and the only item that stood out to me was the salmon in the mini cone. It was really cute and made me feel like a kid inside. The dessert was wonderful and overwhelming! I definitely felt like the dessert portion of our meal outshone the actual food tasting. The price point to taste and quality did not match the other three michelin restaurants I've been too. In terms of dessert, it was worth the value, but the actual entrees, no.

yum

Per Se has no equal. Our dining experience was even better then the sister restaurant in Napa, the French Laundry. The French Laundry is also terrific. We liked the NY experience a bit better. The wait staff is the best. We instantly felt like we were with friends who enjoyed our presence. We will return for anther experience with friends.

We celebrated our 11th anniversary and it was such a memorable experience. They customized the menu and accommodated my husband's allergies. Every dish was beautifully composed and the pacing was spot on. The desserts really capped off the night. The manager gave us a tour of the kitchen to finish out visit. Well deserved three Michelin Stars!

There is a reason we keep coming back....the food, and the service (ok, make that two reasons...). They are always accommodating, professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. Our Sommelier listened to our likes, and made the absolute perfect pairing choices. Our favorite dish is always the Miyazaki Wagyu; so, imagine our delight when asked if that could be had as a supplement, even though it wasn t on the daily menu. It was beyond sublime. The other standout of the evening was the Caviar Tataki, which we had as a supplement to the (albeit delightful, Oysters and Pearls, which seem to be a staple that isn t going away anytime soon). Don t make this a restaurant for ceremony, make it one for rotation.

This is only for Happy hour. The food within the menu was really good and the staff friendly. O ly down side they do not have a liquor license. I am going to give their dinner a try soon.

This was a very nice dining experience. Beautiful atmosphere and views overlooking central park. Good wine selection. Very good food (not the absolute best I've ever had). The show stopper here was the white truffle risotto - very creamy and they grate on an unlimited amount of white truffle, which is just devine.

Breathtakingly beautiful and delicious food presented in servings that leave you wanting exactly one more bite. The staff is eager to accommodate any individual requests (e.g., birthday or anniversary candles and dessert inscriptions, kitchen tours...etc). Definitely a splurge for the special occasion!

They re sooooooooooooo good. Everything in this restaurant is made fresh and you can tell. All of the people who work here are lovely and obviously care a lot about the community. Absolutely try the chocolate, which is rich and spiced beautifully. Never disappoints.

I had a milestone birthday here and have to say I enjoyed every moment. I am not a fancy person, but I love food and wanted to eat here for a long time.

The wait staff made me feel at home and took every opportunity to make my meal as enjoyable as possible. All that said, the food was the star, as it should be. It was so good, so for lack of a better word, perfect.

I hope I get the chance in the future to either come here again or visit French Laundry.

The meal at Per Se was extraordinary in pretty much every way possible. It truly is at the top of the hill of the NYC Restaurant world, and the meal I had here will be fondly remembered for a long time.

If I have any complaint, it is merely that things are very expensive. I think that other restaurants such as Jean-George give a very comparable experience for almost half as much.

Complimentary bite from chef was a bagel with creamcheese scone, presented in a way that was confusing to eat, disapointing for a three michelin star restaraunt. The sommelier had such a heavy french accent that I could not even understand what he was saying. The waitstaff was not consistent with the service, I was reprimended by the waitress because I had not indicated my bread plate was finishes so I when I asked for a new plate she made it very clear I had not used the correct ettiquete to signal I was done. Extremely inpolite. The final course took very long to come out of the kitchen. The wine pairings were excellent, In house choclates fantastic, dishes excellent , service could be improved as it was inconsistent. I would go back.

Great

They really look care of me and my wife during my visit. Everyone should get 200 dollar truffle pasta add on. The truffles titillated all my senses. The room is a bit dark during dinner service so it was hard to take any pictures.

Talking to the staff felt like talking to an old friend. A great experience overall.

I just spent one night at the hotel after New Year, everything was perfect and they always go beyond my expectations. It is my home away from home. Thank you for another wonderful stay. The hotel is very well maintained
