Beautiful resort and design matching the locale. Fireside lounge is a very nice, comfortable place to unwind. Staff has been very accommodating. If you forget workout shoes, call the front desk!

The hotel is fine. It has beautiful grounds, comfortable beds, and very nice employees. However, there are a few things that haven't been great. 1) We paid for a resort view, and our view is a sidewalk and a Bush (definitely not what was advertised). 2) The coffee maker was dirty and had leftover coffee grounds in it. 3) There is no microwave in the room and they want to charge $10 a day for one. I have a special diet and thus pack my own food (I hate to trouble people by asking for anything special) even when I explained this, they wanted to charge for the microwave. Overall it is a nice hotel on beautiful grounds! But for the advertisement of a resort and the price I would expect perhaps a bit more.

It's time to renovate! Got to my room it was uncleaned from prior guest, staff apologized and adjusted quickly.

It is a beautiful hotel with a ton of amenities to offer guests. Great staff too.

Extremely beautiful place. Live ducks, geese, swans, giant bunnies and a huge tortoise. Plenty of pools, slides and activities all day. The food is really good! Golf and rental golf carts! Complete Resort of Fun!

My stay at the Westin Mission Hills Golf Resort and spa was fabulous, they have a pristine golf course with many tough holes. Not to mention the great service and prices they offer I rate the Westin Mission Hills Golf Resort and Spa a 5 star.

The place is beautiful. There's like 2 or 3 pools, I only went to one and the kids loved it. I would definitely go back!

Big resort. Rooms are a bit dated but very clean. Staff very nice. Reminds me of Hawaii but in the desert. Overall I'd recommend.

Very nice hotel. Visited family that was staying here. They have lots of activities to do here. Very nice golf course that runs through the property. Very property with lots of rooms. They look more like apartments than room. I like it.

Beautiful place and an amazing golf course but if you are going to have a nice place you better have nice customer service. The golf pro shop workers were extremely rude. The people who loaded our cart were being very disrespectful. Everyone who worked for the golf club couldn't be bothered to be helpful yet the people who were doing course maintenance and the woman who drove us to and from the parking lot were really nice. The restaurant workers were really nice as well and fun to talk to! If I acted like these golf club workers did to us I wouldn't have a job.

Calming and enjoyable even if you don't play golf or tennis like me.

I love the event centers we went to and the staff was very friendly and helpful. I had smashed my hand in the car door and they searched till they could find me ice for my hand. We had catering by the hotel for breakfast and lunch. Unfortunately it is my only complaint. The food was expensive and only so so.

Laura the manager was so attentive to our needs. .. a large conference has so many moving parts and kept things moving smoothly. She became my gaudian angel at one point when I was lost and tired. The entire staff was great, the grounds are lovely and the desert animals on the property are a special treat. My only request would be to keeps the pools open later in the summer time, 10:00 is too early when it's still so hot ourside.

Dated, needs upgrading and pillows were awful. Bar at adult pool closed 7 out of our 8 day stay yet each day front desk advised us it would be open. Our room key wouldn't work we called front desk who had someone drive out new keys to our location... problem they simply gave us the keys but did not ask for ID to prove we were residents of that room. So wrong. Restaurants did have great service and quality food.

Didn't know what I signed up for when I came to Palms Springs in the hot summer. I am pleased to say, the Westin has been the best thing ever. Centrally located with the best Amenities, large bathrooms, living rooms, pools, games, HD TVs so I can hookup my Roku and 15mbps WiFi. Still here so I gotta end this post and continue living it up

Five star establishment. Very classy resort, nice rooms. Very scenic landscaping and water features. Nice little store on site. Very friendly staff. Good looking bar and restaurant, but I did not try them out. Nice pools. Overall worth the price. Great site for an event.

Very nice! Great amenities, golf course on premises, restaurants, cafe... They even have a pet rabbit, pet turtle, koi... And a mini golf course.

Family spent an entire 5 days at the pool and loved it.

Nice course, not too difficult but not too easy. Customer service was excellent, especially the golf cart shuttle driver. Nice practice range with free balls. Only downside was the constant beat from the pool that could be heard from every hole.

As a titanium platinum member I was shocked when I called in anticipation of an upcoming trip and their OPERATIONS LINE, which should be used to fielding questions was annoyed answering MY FIRST QUESTION. Cancelling the trip needless to say as if this is how the staff initially interacts with its potential guests then I want no part in being there. There are PLENTY of nice hotels in Palm Springs that have 5-star service. Did I mention she HUNG UP THE PHONE ON ME when I was ending the conversation and politely asked for her name.

My wife and I attended a company Christmas party at this location. I must say that for all of the hype of this being a high-end resort, their bar attached to our festivities was stocked with low-end 'well drink' spirits, wine and beers -- but charged as if these were top shelf beverages.

We loved here , very clean, big and lots of activities for the whole family .

I'm completely impressed with this resort and the immaculate tiny details that make this place stand out about the rest. As a photographer, it's rare to find a location with both scenic views as well as gorgeous architecture. THIS PLACE HAS BOTH. I imagine that every guest departs with sadness, wishing they could stay forever! The staff was overly helpful, the landscaping is lush and picturesque, and they even help contribute towards animal adoption! If you're looking for a resort that has everything you need, you've found it.

Very nice grounds. The golf course is very competitive. Has meeting halls.

The Westin has great rooms with competitive prices. Interesting attractions such as a turtle, a puppy dog you can adopt, unique lizards and a geroom for kids. The variety of food available is perfect to suit everyone's tastebuds. The staff is attentive. The grounds are immaculate and the decor is "grand".I truly enjoyed my time there.

Had my graduation here. The restaurant pinzimini was amazing and the the ballrooms were nice and clean. Overall great experience.

Currently on our 3/4th night here and I've enjoyed my stay. The best villas I've ever had the pleasure of staying. Everything you need in a household is provided. Front desk was friendly and fast. Servers taking drink orders at the lovely pool were attentive. Will highly recommend this place to anybody.

Overpriced food, some snooty staff, but they keep the grounds up nice, and there's animals for the kids.

Wonderful resort with great pools and relaxing atmosphere. Courteous and attentive staff help make this a great destination for family getaways, professional stays and/or a couples retreat.

This place was a wonderful experience the staff was so helpful our Villa was amazing. I recommend this resort for great family fun. Pools a huge waterslide .

I would stay away from this hotel unless you want to deal with them regarding 'surprise' billing issues many days after your stay.

We had $100 credit with our reservation and were told (by several different reps on different dates) that it can be applied to their service fees. Also, upon check-out, I was assured I had no outstanding balance, and even had a printed receipt showing we had no balance.

However, two days after checking out, I see several charges on my credit card totaling more than $100. The reps on the phone said that the credit could not be applied to service fees. Also, the rep also mentioned she had no way to modify billing as I had already checked out (but, conveniently for Westin, Westin can readily charge my card after I checkout).

I find these answers very unconvincing. Going through this ordeal is inconvenient, to say at least.

The check in was great and very quick. The rooms are awesome and very comfortable. Large space. We had a banquet dinner for our conversation and the food was amazing . Have returned twice since this conversation.

The rooms and grounds were great, but the food was terrible, and because it was bad I would say it was way over prized. Had chicken that was under cook, old shrimp, the breakfast buffet had slimmy, under cooked scrambled eggs and their poched eggs had white slim in them, and I had a hotdog that would have been good (for a hotdog) but it was very cold the fries that came with it were hot though, and I am not picky when it comes to hotdogs, or food in general, I never complain. But on a great note the staff was amazing so when we pointed out the under cooked chicken they removed all food from our bill and we only paid for drinks and they gave us the breakfast on the house, which was bad as mentioned above but free which was good.

Very clean resort with nice room layouts. Nearly all of the power outlets have USB power as well, so our 10+ devices could easily be charging simultaneously. Flat panel TVs in each room with cable. The pool has a great waterslide. Restaurant is around $15 per plate, but the food is top quality.

The staff here are exceptional. My room is perfect... it has a big tv, a huge bathroom, and a nice balcony.

I will definitely be back...

Fantastic resort. I spent a week here at a golf tournament, and easily could have stayed on.
Beautiful golf courses by Pete Dye and Gary Player. Great amenities such as bard, restaurants, trails, water features and palm trees.

The grounds were nice. But the t.v. didn't work, the glasses in the room were dirty, and worst of all for me was im the morning they were cleaning carpets and the cleansers smelled terrible. Could smell them 2 doors down. Not worth the price unless you golf

A lot of things to entertain kids, but food was average at best.

Very nice resort and golf facilities. Came for a work trip and brought the family; something for everyone here and highly recommend the Westin.

We are here for a conference and have been very pleased with our room and facilities. Very quiet and comfortable.

Service was amazing and clean rooms but food was okay

I live next door to the Mission Hills Resort and last night I hosted a group of friends and we had a terrific dinner at Pinziminni. On our way out we scouted around and walked through the lobby...where HORROR of HORRORS is a giant terrarium...fully lit at 10:00PM filled with suffering reptiles.
The cage is filthy both inside and outside, a large lizard had ooze coming out its nose that was smeared on the glass and snake looked to have some sort of obstruction. I do not claim to be a reptile expert, but the suffering of the creatures was weirdly obvious. I am an expert at hospitality design and I do not understand why on earth having a filthy cage of pathetic and sick reptiles in the lobby of a resort hotel is desirable. The display is simply ignorant, nasty and cruel. The cage should be removed and the abused creatures should be taken down and the animals placed in a humane environment.

My take away is that the managements gross neglect of the hotel lobby's "LIVING FOCAL POINT" is a strong indication to me that the guests and employees at the resort are neglected in the same sort of insidious fashion and that this is a resort to stay clear of...even though we had a delightful meal there.

Westin Mission Hills is an oasis in the desert. I've been here many times and love the whole experience. The rooms are large and accommodating. I always enjoy sitting on the patio enjoying the view of either the pools or the gorgeous night sky.

Loved this resort. Our family of 4 with two teenagers booked the doble queen traditional room last minute on our 4 day trip to Palm Springs. We arrived late from Los Angeles and were greeted warmly by Alphie. All my dealings with him were outstanding!!
Our whole stay was very pleasant especially the pools. Our daughter really enjoyed talking the puppy for a walk and watching the hares and tortoises being fed.
They also have a games area with a pool table, foosball and small shuffleboard.
The Westin resort is about 15 min from the Palm Springs airport in Rancho Mirage and about 5 mins from easy access to the freeway and many stores (Costco, Walmart, Home Depot etc.) and restaurants.
Weekends were a lot busier with a DJ at the main pool but the weekdays were a lot quieter.
I would highly recommend this resort for a family get away.

It's okay. Woefully understaffed though. The restaurants close very early for a resort and there's nothing within walking distance.

I guess if you were there just to play golf the resort is convenient. But the location is not ideal if you are visiting Palm Springs.

Pet friendly though. Continental breakfast had a good selection and omelette station.

Hotel is nice but the staff is surprisingly rude. From the waiter to the front desk. Maybe that's just how palm springs is.

Beautiful course. A must place to visit even if you don't play golf..

We only stayed for one night and it was lovely - the pools, grounds and rooms were all to a high standard and very clean. We also loved hopping on and off the golf buggies! Unfortunately, we had an issue with the restaurant double charging us for dinner on the room and also by taking cash. Luckily, the excellent concierge, Patrick helped us by getting security involved and it was resolved within 40 mins! A huge thanks to Patrick!!

Service was great. Atmosphere was awesome. Great golf!

Mission Hills golf course is fun to play and nice view.

Nice place. Enjoyed our stay. Only negative was there was some sort of Jewish convention going on, and each morning we were there at the pool, about 3 -4 Jewish men would come to the hot tub at different times, disrobe down to their underwear, wrap a towel around them, then take their underwear off. they would then sit down next to the hot tub, take their towel off and get in for about 30 seconds, completely nude. Then get out, get dressed and leave. It was like they were using it for a bath. Staff saw and didn't do anything about it.

WONDERFUL Property for All occasions, even a " Staycation ." Came for the Veterans University sponsored by Rep. Dr. Raul Ruiz and it was well organized as well as attended to , very first class event at this fine venue.

It has changed in quality and service since taken over by Marriott. Not very customer service oriented. I seited over to Desrt princess this last week for a visit.

Had a great experience playing golf on the Pete Dye. Nice facility.

Wonderful location and spectacular facility. It's all a little dated. Small things limited enthusiasm. Requested in room breakfast using an overnight hangtag and it wasn't even picked up. But lots of activities and spectacular backdrop

Food is good, the weather is hot, the rooms are spacious

Right off the I-10 freeway. There restaurants and a Theater nearby...... Oh.....and now Krispy Kreme is not that far away from this resort!

A great place for the Palm Springs Regional Bridge Tournament, lovely grounds, friendly and helpful staff.

We came for a golf outing and couldn't ask for anymore than a perfect day. The weather was great and the staff at Westin Mission Hills (Pete Dye & Gary Player) were fantastic. Best customer service received every time we visit

Very nice if you are looking for a family oriented Resort. Great for children and teens. Spacious, clean rooms. Nice Restaurants. The Pete Dye golf course was a beauty of a course to play. The Staff was the best.

Had dinner and the food was good. Our server was really nice and helpful
