Giving it 1 star because I need to bring down the 4.6 stars it does not deserve. In reality i give it 2 stars.

Where to begin.
Why on Earth would you have a table less than 4ft from the amplifier the band uses. Conversation was challenging. Nothing against the band as they were really good!

Being from Cali I'm used to being served water without ice but when I asked for it, I was brought a small cup of ice which melted rapidly in the luke warm water

When the bread was not brought out and we asked for it the waiter appeared annoyed. As well as for other things we asked for he seemed to be in a bad mood..fine, everyone has bad days.

The food I was hoping would make up for this but sadly no...just no..
1. Meatballs pretty standard
2. Creamed corn was good
3. Brucetta.....it was tomato sliced and put on top of Italian bread. I literally could make that at home

4. Bolognese, lasagna and linguine were lack luster. Just lacking flavor that one would expect from at 4.6 star restaurant. I was fond of the Bolognese because it reminded me of my childhood when I ate chef boyardee alot..

Seriously for 200 dollars for 4 people which only had 3 alcoholic drinks, i would go somewhere else

Im originally from Texas but I had to come back to Seattle just to go here again!! Great little hole in the wall place that makes you feel like a local. definitely recommend making a reservation as it is always busy. The entertainment, the staff, the atmosphere, NO complaints!! 10/10 bucket list place to go especially if a tourist.

This seemly non-existent place is to die for. If you love great plasta you have to visit the Pink Door. I went with 2 others and we all tried each other's plates. All three were excellent. The wait staff was very friendly and very knowledgeable about all the foods. You can't beat it.

We had an appalling experience here and I still can't believe this happened. Our flight to the US got delayed, so we missed our connecting flight in Seattle. We had been traveling for over 24 hours and just wanted a place to relax and enjoy a good dinner before our flight back home. I got a little ill (including a bad cough) while overseas, and a few minutes after eating one of the raw oysters I started coughing like crazy, enough to raise a few eyebrows before I could find a bathroom so I could not spew my germs everywhere. Long story short, the owner thought I was vomiting because I was sick from eating edibles (aka drugs) and kicked me and my family out of the restaurant. That's right. She assumed I was a drug addict and that was why (she thought) I vomited after eating her restaurant's food. Excuse you, but l have never done any illegal or recreational drugs in my entire life. You say people have been throwing up more this week than ever before, and you think it's because they're eating edibles?? I think you should take a look at how your restaurant is being run, because I doubt it's the drugs that are making your customers throw up.

My wife and I went for our 7 year anniversary, for the first time, and it did not disappoint. This is old world Italian charm, wrapped in romantic ambiance, with a sophisticated taste experience, and although they offer a live Cabaret and Burlesque show, we only came for the dinner, this night.

The Pink Door is a high-end Italian experience and trust me, worth every penny. Terrence was our Waiter for the evening and this guy is incredibly professional and truly knows his stuff, he even remembered our names. He really impressed my wife and me.

Terrence suggested a few vegetarian dishes and I chose the "LASAGNA PINK DOOR" with fresh spinach pasta layered with besciamella, pesto and topped with marinara sauce, with a "CELERY & MUSHROOM SALAD," with my usual Ginger Beer, and boy did Terrence pick two winners.

They were two exquisitely prepared dishes and the experience of what a Foodie's dreams are made of. So very delicious, a fabulous dining experience, and Terrence really made our anniversary a night to remember. We'll be back for the show.

It was a booked weekend but we managed to get a table at the Pink Door an Italian American Restaurant.

Stop for lunch it's casual attire (semi formal). The food is delicious. Portions are not over sized. Long wine list .

I've never had a disappointed from the food at the Pink Door. I ordered a pasta one time which was delicious but not enough to fill me. The next time I asked for the same thing but to "super size" it. They asked no questions, obliged, and I was more than satisfied.

This is one of the best Italian restaurants in my list of visits throughout the country.

When you arrive (by Google Map GPS, of course) do not keep walking.

Stop and look around.

This restaurant is not labeled, and it only has a pink light on a white/cream door.

No street numbers either!

I bet this really was a boudoir or a speakeasy back in the day.

They have a burlesque show on weekends, but we only stayed for the food.

Will definitely return one day.

The place was absolutely amazing. I had the best bongole pasta here. Our table was right next to the windows so we ate our meal while enjoying the sunset. Definitely will recommend to other people.

Lovely freshly cooked and prepared, delicious food. I had lentil soup and black pudding salad. Artisan bread with the soup would be better than sliced bread. The egg yolk with the black pudding would be better soft. The staff was attentive and the restaurant is lovely, I ll definitely be back it can be difficult to find good soups and salads, especially at a decent price!

The food here was amazing! We choose to sit at the bar since we were just ordering a couple smaller plates and the bar service was great- big large open bar! We were recommended by a local to order the oysters, the mussels and clams. We did just that, paired with their Chardonnay it was perfect and delicious! Definitely recommend for ambiance as well!

I can not say enough good things about this place. The entrance is simply a pink door in an alley way, you nearly miss it if you're not looking for it so keep your eyes peeled! It was a bit of a wait since we had a large party, but they recommended a little wine bar to have some starter drinks at before coming back. They have shows every night, We got to see an incredible performance by a trapeze artist. The atmosphere is extremely intimate and romantic, I'd spend every night there if I could! Because we were a big group, we were a little disorganized but the server was extremely patient, kind, and helpful. I was so full, but didn't want anything to go to waste. I happily ate three of mama's meatballs, and the mushroom crustini. Others in my party enjoyed the mussels, risotto, and chefs seafood special. What an awesome experience!!

Staff were very rude to our table (4 asains). My boyfriend's dish was missing meatballs so we asked our server about it and she didn't even apologize and went to get the meatballs and dropped it off on our table, again without apologizing or saying anything. The rest of our dishes were not very tasty and the food was below warm. The only thing i liked about it was the live music they had and we sat right next to the stage and got a front row view.

Went for lunch on a busy Saturday downtown. They got us in and a seat on the patio to enjoy the sunshine. The service was great and our food was awesome. Serving sizes were fantastic as well. A great place to grab food.

Super cute play. Has live music. Friendly staff.

Super cute play. Has live music. Friendly staff.
We reserved for the wrong day and they were able to fit us in. Beautiful place.
The food was great.
Can't tell it's a restaurant from the outside as it a door in an alley.
They had leaves all on the ceiling.

One of the best restaurants in Seattle and arguably THE best Italian food in WA. With its prime location and awesome show, this place is a true experience. One of our most favorite date night spots. If you come here for dine & show or just dinning it's very yummy. It's also a beautiful restaurant with an amazing view!! Food portions are pretty large so if you have a smaller appetite don't finish your food and defiantly order dessert. The staff are also very friendly and have always made great recommendations with honest opinions based on your likings/ specials of the day. Love love Pink Door!!

We enjoyed our dinner here. The waitstaff was attentive and friendly. The Pink Door comes up as a great place for people with food allergies. They did have some options, but I thought with all the hype there would have been more. Overall, we did enjoy our meal.

The Pink Door is one of my favorite restaurants. We live close by so it is in our neighborhood, easy to get to and with good parking. Staff are very attentive and knowledgeable but not intrusive. Courses are served with out long waits. Food is so good highly recommended.

We visited The Pink Door on our anniversary dinner. I reserved the table through opentable at the only available 10pm slot.
Because it's in Post Alley and our reservation slot was late we grabbed some drinks at one of the bars nearby.
We reached the restaurant 15 mins early. Because there are no signs outside the "pink door" you may feel hesitant to open it. Don't be. You are at the right place.
We went on a Tuesday and there was live music playing. Since we were a little early we were asked to wait at the bar while they got our table ready. We ordered a couple of drinks while enjoying the music and soaking in the ambience. We were finally starte in the dining room next to the windows with a nice view of the water and the giant ferris wheel.
The decor is classical.
We had Arincini, the lasagna and the Ravioli. The lasagna was the show stealer.
For dessert we shared the Panna cotta which was quite amazing. They wished us happy anniversary and have us complimentary drinks.
In summary, though expensive, The Pink Door definitely lives up to expectations and is a great choice for celebrating a special occasion.
