I wanted to find a nice, romantic restaurant for a date night and was so glad I found this hidden gem in Seattle!

This place intrigued me when I found out that they offer trapeze and burlesque shows on certain nights of the week. But what really drew me in was the reviews on their food and service!

AMBIANCE:
-Very romantic, dimly lit, great place for a date night

SERVICE:
-Very good. Our waiter offered great recommendations on the food since it was our first time.

FOOD:
-Cheese Board Deluxe (Artisanal italian cheeses, fig & chianti compote w/ housemade cracker & walnuts): Amazing! This was a real treat. We both loved sampling the different types of cheeses from hard to soft, and from different types of milk (sheep, goat), with different types of spreads (nuts, chocolate, fig, and fruit!).

-Lasagna Pink Door (Fresh spinach pasta layered with besciamella, pesto and topped with marinara sauce): Delish! Very dense and rich. Loved the pesto and the spinach pasta. Very fresh!

-Cioppino Pink Door (Prawns, mussels, clams and calamari in a spicy tomato and white wine broth): Tasty and fresh! I was pleasantly surprised by the freshness of the seafood and the yummy refreshing broth. It was well balanced and on point. I normally don't order cioppinos because I'm afraid of getting sandy seafood or watery broths but this was really good!

DESSERT:
-Cabaret "boobie" cake (chocolate cake with Theo's bittersweet chocolate, salted caramel sauce, edible gold leaf nipple): Very rich and chocolatey! Great way to finish a wonderful Italian dinner!

Overall, we had an amazing dinner and loved our experience here. Make sure you make reservations beforehand. We would highly recommend this place to anyone who's looking for a nice restaurant in Seattle! :)

location is very nice, the water views and old fashioned layout is a joy. the problem with this place is that the environment is there to overcompensate for the quality of food (or the lack of). me and my date got their dinner date special risotto dish and it was disturbingly sweet. the pasta was terribly undercooked. i've only been here twice and its been hit or miss so far.

Had lunch at the Pink Door and it was amazing. Had the catch of the day which was Scallop and my husband had the linguine Alle Vongole (baby clams in the shell, pancetta, garlic, chilis, and white wine). The food was perfectly seasoned and tasty. The service was excellent as well.

Absolutely horrible service! We went to this restaurant on a recent trip to Seattle and really regretted even wasting an Uber ride there. Website clearly says to come in even if you don t have a reservation and that s exactly what we did....fairly late to avoid the dinner rush. The hosts were incredibly rude & condescending. Basically said oh well, too bad . Anyways, I would avoid this restaurant just on the basis of their service.

Chic French restaurant in the market across from Kell's. As the name implies the door on the alley is pink and once in it's a few more steps down into the restaurant and the bar behind and deck/patio above. Live music in the bar on the weekends. Covered deck/patio off of the bar. You can either have a full dinner or do small plates for dinner. There is a full bar including bubbly by the glass

Cozy atmosphere, romantic, unique entertainment, extensive wine list = great place to go with your significant other. The aerialist performs on Sunday nights - DEFINITELY WORTH IT TO GO SEE. Aside from the entertainment and ambiance, it wasn't the best restaurant. The food was lacking and the portions weren't very big for the price tag attached. However, you're paying for the atmosphere.

The Pink Door was suggested by a coworker and it's was not a disappointment. I got the Lasagna and my husband got the halibut. We were seated by the window a great view of the water and sunset. We had a 5:30 reservation made a month in advance. This place is a hidden gem and it was a fun adventure trying to did it on Post Alley. Very unique and food was great.

Ive eaten here many times and the food simply the best Italian food you can get near pikes place. The view is amazing, and the staff is great to be around. Their food is always fresh and always puts smile on my face. If you're a fan of Italian seafood, you must try!

The Pink Door doesn t need signage or fancy advertising to be probably the best restaurant I ve ever been to. So much so that my husband and I went thrice during a short visit to Seattle. The staff are all incredibly wonderful and attentive, the food phenomenally consistent when busy and slower(I love their lasagna, he fell in love with their risotto), and always came out quickly. The drinks are amazing($1 from every amazing Hey Hey Ho Ho Donald Trump Has Got to Go goes to Planned Parenthood), the decor is funky and eclectic, and the entertainment is a perfect addition to a lovely date night! They also have a HUGE patio that s like a mini secluded garden, and it feels all so set back and hidden from the alley, yet appears to be massively popular, and well deserving of it.

Dinner reservations recommended but not required, as they reserve half of the restaurant for walk ins. They leave updated signs on the door about availability for reservations/patio seating/walk in.

A great romantic spot! Easy to miss from the alley, so just look for the actual pink door rather than any sign. The BRANZINO STYLE whole white fish of the day was fairly priced and was amazing with the spices and accompanied green sauce.

LOVED, LOVED, LOVED this place! Spacious and pretty place with good views of the market and lake. Our server was very helpful and welcoming and helped us pick good vegetarian options. Their lasagne is just too delicious and came as a shock to me that it's vegetarian. Finally I got a good vegetarian lasagne in a restaurant. Mushroom risotto was as well as the flourless chocolate cake!! Their menu changes seasonally so hopefully will get a good surprise when I come next.

Great food and drinks. Entertainment is somewhat of a lower quality. It is slow, with lots of talking. Same four artists performed throughout the entire show with similar uninspiring numbers. The entire experience was not what we were expecting

Some of the past portions are a tad small, but when the pasta is done on site and taste so good, you don't mind. Would certainly eat here again. This was during lunch, cannot comment on the dinner experience.

The decor may be romantic and all but it s welcoming to singles like my friends and I. We enjoyed our time there.
Food was on point and our server, amazing.

It was wonderful. Our waitress was very kind & attentive. Our food, the rigitoni & the fish of the day, were divine. And while we did constantly worry that the table would catch fire due to all the candles, no fire hazards were had this day!
P.s. the tea was amazing.

What a happy accident that we discovered The Pink Door! The food is amazing, and I was so pleased to learn they offer delicious gluten free bread and pasta! My boyfriend had the spinach lasagna and I had g-f pasta with meatballs and red sauce. Sublime flavors in both dishes! The service here is wonderful, to boot! We were lucky enough to be seated at a window table so we enjoyed a view of the sound. All in all, this place really delivers a magical evening.

Very unfriendly restaurant to family. Especially the receptionist, the male, was unhappy when he saw kids. Even though there was many tables empty the guy told us 40 min or more for waiting time. I do not recommend this place at all. The time we were there was 3:00 pm, which not even the lunch time nor dinner. Thank you receptionist! Gave us very good experience. Will never go there nor recommend to friend.

The Pink Door is a fabulously delicious restaurant with trendy, interesting decor, and a great view to boot! I have been twice so far and cannot say enough about their top notch cuisine.

My first experience was with their house lasagna and it was divine. My next experience, pictured in the review, is a season steak and salad dish. The steak was incredible and the salad was even more so.

Reservations are recommended as the place fills up quickly.

Food was amazing. Wasn't aware reservation to attend the show need to be made weeks' in advance. We were able to walk-in for dinner on a Friday night and sit on the patio. Had a short wait and we spent the time in the wine shop across the alley. I still think about the lasagna on occasion. Great location to bring out of town guests, beautiful view and decor.

This is one of the best Italian places around. The atmosphere is fantastic, the people are incredible, and the food is delicious. (The lasagna is to die for.) They also do some really fun entertainment. Always a win here.

I've always had a delicious meal accompanied by wonderful service at The Pink Door. The pasta is fresh, the drinks are wonderful, and the view is unbeatable. This is the perfect restaurant to visit for any occasion.

Today was my first time checking this place out. Someone on Reddit mentioned it and I had to try it. A little pricey but it's seriously delicious. The staff are extremely friendly, they have a hand sanitizer station and free masks where you order which is pretty awesome. I received my food fast, I really can't stop saying how delicious the burger was. I kept thinking, "this is so bomb" with every bite and I never do that. I'm hooked.

Get your reservation ahead of time and plan out your day. The food is great but the real attraction here is the amazing burlesque show that this establishment hosts. It's fun , witty , and full of crazy laughter.

THERE IS NO SIGN- just go in through the pink door. The pink is slightly faded. The fries come with basil and garlic cloves, which are a little salty but delicious nonetheless. Wonderful service. Our waiter gave us a bit of history on the restaurant, and apparently the same woman who opened the place still owns it. Unfortunately we didn t get to see the show, but you should try to!

Went with the Dungeness crab Ceasar Salad, a side of the house-made meatballs, and the Cioppino as my entree, while my colleague went with the Bolognese. Every dish was awesome - down to the incredible bread with olive oil to dip. One of the best dining experiences I have had in years. Thoughtful ambiance, attentive service, lovely entertainment, and absolutely delicious food.

We like to come here for the New Year's Eve dinner. It's a prix fixe menu offering a range of delicious options from which to choose. It is a treat to enjoy dinner courses interspersed with the performances by their aerialist for the evening. The Pink Door is a fun, iconic Seattle destination tucked into Post Alley, next to Pike Place Market.

The decor of this place is really interesting. Make sure you reserve if you want to have dinner here. It is really busy. If you plan on walking in, be prepared to wait for about an hour or so when it is busy. They do have some openings at the bar and and it may be quicker there. We ended up at the bar and had friendly service there. The food was really tasty as well.

Awesome place tucked inside post alley with no signage (look for the pink door). We had a fantastic dinner here with drinks. We were in town on a Monday and got to see one of their trapeze shows that accompany dinner. They are very unique and it s an awesome experience. I do recommend reservations, we got lucky in that we got a great table without a reservation but that doesn t seem to be the norm. Also has outdoor seating with great view of the sound. Highly recommend.

Enjoyed a lovely late lunch early dinner here last month when visiting Seattle.

Make reservations people! I waited until a week before to do so and had to take what they had left, which wasn't very many options, but it worked out. If you are planning a special occasion, make sure to reserve a table at least 6 weeks out.

The outside of the restaurant is a simple pink door (hence the name), and when you walk in, it's surprising very spacious with lovely decor.

We were seated promptly and started with some drinks. I ordered a raspberry lemon drop, sooo good. One of the girls had the watermelon mock tail and I forgot the other drink. The drinks were good and they were pretty stiff too.

For dinner, we had the Salmon, Lasagna, rigatoni and for appetizers the mama meatballs and caprese salads.

Everything we had was delicious. The prices for the meatballs and the caprese salads were a bit much though considering it's a side salad that consist of 3 things and they were like 3 meatballs. Quality was there though. For dessert we had the pistachio cheesecake. It was okay, but I would probably try another dessert if we were to visit again.

We enjoyed our meal near the window with a nice view on a great day.

Thanks Pink Door for a great experience!
