I absolutely love the pink door. The staff seem over stressed most times but the food is amazing.

Soooo many times we've tried to make a
reservation at the Pink Door but they were either all booked up or super late times. Finally, we got in on a Thursday night at 9pm. I have to say it was well worth the wait.
I would recommend Ubering there. Get a couple of drinks and appetizers at Von's if you have a late reservation.
The place is right across from Pike Place Chowder.
Atmosphere: relaxing with a view of the water.
Service: friendly and quick
Drinks: fantastic martinis
Food: fresh and steak cooked just right. The Tiramasu was fabulous!
We will be back.
Great atmosphere, fantastic customer service. The chocolate mousse cake is amazing. I love the ambiance in the restaurant and the view of Seattle!
Amazing Italian food, great service, entertaining performances
In all of my travels thus far, this is my absolute favorite restaurant! The food is outstanding and their wine selections are the best I've tasted. Looking forward to visiting Seattle again to eat here.
Great place to splurge MUST get reservations...and get tickets for the Burlesque show on Saturday night if possible. Skip the bruschetta - the free grilled garlic bread is plenty. The linguine alle vongole and the lasagna are great choices.
Fantastic food and a really fun atmosphere. It feels like you're dining in a slightly run down burlesque house (run down in a charming way, the actual facilities are top notch). Great Italian food, attentive and friendly staff and amazing ambience. Worth seeking out.
Service, ambiance and food were all excellent. I had calamari, clams and swordfish. I was a walk-in but understand reservations are usually the only way to get in.
This restaurant literally have a Pink Door and no signage at all! I can say that this is one of the best places in Seattle cause my dining experience and the services are exceptional. My favorite would be the Cheese Board with a different, high-quality type of cheeses as an appetizer. The Pink Door Lasagna has a unique taste, not ordinary and very tasty. Overall, this is a great restaurant and I would highly recommend this to everyone.
Great Vegetarian lasagna. Don't get their house wine though, go for a good bottle or go for cocktails
Not impressed with the food for how expensive it is. Mediocre Italian, cramped tables, & okay service.
Very busy, so book early.. Food was great except I thought the crab corn risotto was a bit sweet... Patio is refreshing
Unusual place but in a good way. Neat Italian restaurant, great service food was good.
Love this place! I've only done take out but it's always ready when they say and always a very friendly staff.
Got the lasagna and it was great. Service was also good even though they were busy.
As long as I've live in Seattle I have never heard of the pink door I went with my friend who has never been either we didn't have a reservation we had to wait a bit reservation recommended the food was awesome a had the rabbit three hours later the taste is still I'm my mouth seems to me everyone around was praising their food the waitress Alissa was great I plan to go back this time RESERVATION
This was a unique place to eat. Live music with some original songs, and some oldies. It seemed as though it was a bass cello, drums, and singer. Perhaps there was one more musician, but he was out of my view. A 2 sided menu. One side for wine, the other for food. I found the options limited. Mostly seafood, mussels, clams, calamari, shrimp, tuna. I did adventure out and try the ahi tuna appetizer which was very delicious. Some of the appetizers are puny, and some are big enough to share so if this matters to you, ask ahead of time. Lots of nude decor.
Everything about the Pink Door is outstanding. Entertainment is awesome.
Especially enjoyed Bolonese, lasagna and fish stew. Gotta have the Boobie cake for dessert
Super neat place, hard to find in Public market. Decor is really chic and suiting to the feel of the place. Drinks were delish and the live music was spot on. The places is so hip Leon Bridges even stopped in while he was in town for a performance. Didnt want to bug him so i did a sneak peak ;)
If you dont get a seafood plate while in seattle you are missing out!
Was recommended this Italian restaurant while waiting in line at the original Starbucks. When people say whole in the wall, it is! Once there, had a normal great and seated. This place has bar seating, front area, outside seating and new back area with local art seating. The plates came out with our awesome waiter that recommended his favorites when he was a customer prior to working and it was not disappointing. Great flavors, great presentations and the food tasted so fresh. I would come here again. Make sure to make reservation because you ll get much better seating.
Note: portions are small and place is in the alley behind original Starbucks.
Hint: look for Pink Door
One of my favorite Seattle spots. Moderately priced and great quality food. They just redid the interior and it's such a fun well done atmosphere with incredible food. It's tucked away but one of the best finds if you're visiting or a local looking for a great dinner spot.
Stood awkwardly for 10 min waiting to be seated. Food tasted like chef boyardee. Would not come again.
Cool vibe from the "secret location" to the aesthetic and the staff. Such vivacious spirit and great food! Quite lovely and unique a must see.
Fun atmosphere and good food. My husband loved the halibut and I really enjoyed a pasta with meat sauce dish.
Absolutely blown away at how rude the manager Angelica was! very rude no friendly greeting when we walked in and basically was told it will "be a hour wait" thanks and didn't ask us if we wanted to be put on the list. So I said can you please put us on the list and she was rude almost like we were making her go out of her way she didn't care at all. Came back a hour later and she again was not friendly anyways waited another 20 mins finally got a seat. Service was poor all around will not go back to this restaurant ever again management needs to get a check up from the neck up.
At The Pink Door the food is hit or miss, but I LOVE the ambiance. How fun! Just take a peek inside. It's great. As for my experience, I had the pasta with meat sauce. It was tasty, especially paired with a nice red and an oncoming buzz. Especially paired with a snowy night with snowflakes dancing under the streetlight. As for his dish, it was the risotto, which was more like watery flavored rice -- terribly done. The worst I've ever had.
Bottom line: Fun ambiance. Good pasta. BAD risotto. #localguides
Very charming, and the food is delicious, and the atmosphere was perfect. I would highly recommend anyone looking for a great lunch or dinner location come here. Can't wait to be in Seattle again because I will be going back.
Food was amazing! Inside is beautiful! But if its summer try to sit outside. Amazing service and prices were super fair. 9/10 I will be back!
This place was WONDERFUL once we finally found it there's no real sign outside in the alley where the entrance is, just the pink door. The food was GREAT and we went on a night when the trapeze act was there. It's dainty and the food was more than worth the prices. We got a great table overlooking the market and the bay. It was perfect for our girls night. Loved it
Great experience. Very delicious italian food. Nice service. The place is quite hard to find
Excellent food, poor handling of interfacing their show with the meal. I walked in expecting to be seeing a show and a meal, this wasn't the case and it wasn't till a very awkward conversation 1/2 way through the performance that I found that I had to tack on another $20 (when the waiter said $10) to see the rest of it. There was no mention of this prior - even after asking about it during the meal.
Great food! Great service! Loved the mama's meatball!
The best restaurant in Seattle by FAR! This little hidden spot is like a magical, elegant, circus Italian restaurant and it is unlike anywhere else you will ever go. Everything is home made and made fresh with the most tasty, decedent ingredients. It is worth a little splurge. Each dish is the perfect portion, but you'll want to order one of everything on the menu. I have tried just about every dish and there isn't a single one that isn't absolutely dish-licking delicious. I'm from Arizona, and thinking of this place makes it worth the visit every single time.
I have been to a lot of Seattle restaurants and this is by far my favorite. Incredible food, great atmosphere and gorgeous views. But again- the food is absolutely incredible.
The service was good and the food was also great. The portions of the food was pretty good however they are a little pricey.
Their sandwiches is delicious. This place is near my apartment. It is very good for me
Great food, fun service, good location. Have the lasagne, so yum!
We have been to this resteraunt many times and every single meal was amazing! The entertainment is fun and enjoyable and the wait staff is top notch!
I would love if you started making the white creamy polenta again as it was the best I had ever had but regardless of that deeply saddening loss to your menu I managed to find something else on your new one to make me just as happy.
Keep up the good work
Cheerful place with a lot of buzz. The Tuscany fries were awesome.
Iconic Seattle favorite. Amazing Italian dishes. Make a reservation or plan for a wait, but worth it!
Service, impeccable. Food, fantastic! Ambiance, amazing!
The lasagna here ruined all lasagnas for me! So dang good! The staff is friendly and the atmosphere is fun!
Great venue for a date. Outstanding staff and a great atmosphere. Excellent food.
A very nice restaurant with typical food and a fairly price. Thanks
I called to purchase a gift card from The Pink Door yesterday & I found the staff extremely helpful & very obliging. The excellent service & customer experience I received was invaluable (from Ireland)
Hard to find, but great once you do. Sat outside on the patio... Squid ink pasta with seafood. Yum
Our favorite place to eat when we visit every year from San Diego. A different experience in dinning.
Apparently the owners don't like money and want to alienate 50% of their customers. They proudly display that their proceeds go to planned parenthood, and have anti-Donald trump cocktails on the menu. Politics has no place in a public restaurant!
I would give 4 stars for for food standalone, but I am giving a low rating because our waiter was assuming we were travelers ignorant about US culture and soliciting us to order more expensive menus and tip excessively. The truth is that I have been in the US long enough to know that what she did was inappropriate.
Went there with my friend last time, we were lucky to get a table immediately without making a reservation, they serve great Italian food, and the ambience is so nice. Definitely will come again, it's better to make a reservation first.
Nice decor and pleasant staff, but the food was mediocre at best.
Ate here year's ago with a friend she brought me here to have the Spinach lasagna oh man it's amazing and very delicious! I did a stage here last summer my meal I chose was the spinach lasagna with bolongese sauce now that's next level baby! One of the best Italian restaurants in Seattle. I will be back
What a wonderful place!!!
Me and my friend had a lunch here today, and it was just awesome.
The ambience, foods, servers, etc. Everything was just perfect.
We ordered a Spaghetti with grilled Italian sausage and Pizza bianca. It was a bit salty to us but was tasty.
Divine as usual! the Petrale crab stuffed sole was delicious.
I was waiting about 40min to get the table. It was around 2pm. Food was not good. I found hair in my risotto. All of food was very salty and not tasty. I wouldn t go again. I don t want to waste time anymore.
The drinks were amazing and the staff was friendly. We only ate a salumi platter, but it was some of the best we had ever had. The olive oil they serve with the bread was flavorful and delicious.
Celebrated our 13th Wedding Anniversary here and it did not disappoint.
We were seated right by the window overlooking Elliot Bay and the ferris wheel aglow. Food was good but the service was spectacular!! Unfortunately, I don't recall her name but she was attentive, but not imposing and had a great deal of knowledge about the food--offering great suggestions.
The Pink Door is an iconic restaurant in Seattle for a fun night out in the Pike Place market neighborhood. This is a great place for groups or for date night. They also offer gluten free pasta.
Excellent food and atmosphere. Yes, it was a bit hard to find but worth it.
This is one of the best place to have a little getaway in Seattle. I absolutely loved the moment my friend suspiciously opened the pink door without any sign on the alley and bumped into this huge restaurant with mirrors and magical decorations. Highly recommend the fried rice ball for appetizer and the lasagna! The picture is the fish of the day~ I personally don't really like it but it's very special and interesting
Love this place. I take my husband there every year for our anniversary and it's delish every time.
Amazing staff and dinner. Had an excellent table with a view.
Great place for dinner. Good portions. Nice collection of fine. No complaints whatsoever.
Amazing service, great food, and an excellent atmosphere.
We travel around the world, and have wined and dined in many classy restaurants. For a Seattle couple, we have rarely experienced such a new level of snobbery from a waiter and host. High on ridiculous. For over 20 yrs we have liked the novelty of the place but no more, Good luck.
Pretty decent Italian food, especially for being in a very touristy area. I had the boulonges, and would definitely get it again.
Great lunch while on vacation. Caesar Salad, Garlic Bread, and Pappardelle with Bolognese sauce were excellent. We also had the truffle fries which were very good too. The door is hard to find and is just a pink door in the alley. Had a sign that said reservations only, but a group of tourists walked in behind us and got seated.
Outstanding experience! No markings on the Entrance Door except the noticeable pink door for reference. From the bedazzling greeter, the gracious server Alexandra to our water busboy...they were on top of their game with a bustling brunch service. We started with a shared Cioppino that had depth and kick to it. Ordered the Grilled Garlic Bread and PD Caesar with Fennel shavings on the croutons. The we had the Winter Risotto with truffle shavings and exotic mushrooms. This was topped with a raw organic egg which made the dish creamier! Also ordered the Linguine Alle Vongole...fresh baby clams with panchetta and chillis. One of the best I have tried. No room for dessert but had a cup of deep hot chocolate with creme de menthe. Seattle be proud! Bravo!
This is an exceptional place with fabulous food great wine and excellent service. if anything could be perfect it is here.
Hard to locate but has one of the most beautiful views of the pike place and the sea
So glad The Pink Door has reopened...there are not many other options as amazing as this place for a beautiful weekend leasiurely lunch...strongly recommend booking well in advance, and don't skip out on the pasta (even for lunch!!)
One of the best quality Italian and seafood spots in Seattle for what you'll pay. Atmosphere is stunning and they have live entertainment every night starting about 9PM.
Finally had the chance to check this place out and I'm glad I did! Many people rate this place as Seattle's best pasta, and while I don't quite agree with that, it's pretty high up on my list. The Pink Door offers premium pasta in a cool little hard to find spot - meaning it's literally a pink door in an alley without any signage outside. Prices may be high but the food quality here is top notch!
We ordered the Antipasto of the house (salami appetizer dish), the lasagna pink door, and the linguine alle vongole. The antipasto was a good appetizer and cool to eat, but a bit on the salty side. My girlfriend loved the lasagna but to me it tasted like any other lasagna I've had. The linguine was my favorite. You can really taste the wine flavors in it and it comes with a TON of clams. Portion size here on everything is decent, but remember you're paying for the quality.
The service here rocks. Our server was extremely attentive and helpful during our meal, and my water was filled at least 8 times (I drink a lot). She even helped out with a birthday surprise and recommended us an awesome dessert! Everything about this place just really gives you a satisfying feeling when you dine here.
Overall, It's a little hard to get to if you're not already in the downtown area, and there might be a long wait (reservations get booked pretty far in advance for dinner so I recommend coming for lunch instead), but the Pink Door is a place you should try at least once if you're in Seattle.
