Didn't make it for any of the shows, but the food was outstanding. Service was friendly and attentive, and the prices were a little high, but the quality of the food made it all worth it.
Simply wonderful. The staff are fantastic and the food is scrumptious.
Everything was so nice. The entertainment was grand. The view from the deck and dining room are of the water and the attractions. We will go there again and again.
Easy location, romantic atmosphere, outstanding food and great service, what more could you ask for?
Amazing food, great wine selection, entertainment was lovely.
Scallops were excellent. We sat at the bar and the service was good. Enjoyed the wine
The food and cocktails here are excellent. I got the pink door lasagna which is straightforward but excellently made. The only thing to make sure is that you are placed in the front or at the bar so that you can get a good view of the live music performances! The back area is also nice but the view of the live music is worth the wait!
Yum! Lavender lamb porterhouse and lasagna were amaze-balls! The house red was pretty good too!
We had lunch at the pink door on a beautiful spring day. the food at the restaurant tastes fantastic. the risotto, the mussels and meatballs (no pictures because we ate them all already) everything is yummy. the service is really good. our server is so nice and friendly. he refilled our drinks even before the glasses were empty. I love the ambiance in the restaurant and the view of Seattle ferris wheel is beautiful. we had such fun time. will definitely come back.
This amazing restaurant is literally a pink door down a dark alley. I'm glad we took the time to find it. Great food and fantastic atmosphere.
Highly recommend the Squid Ink seafood pasta($18 or $19?)! It was on the "special" of the night so it was not listed on the reg menu. The squid ink pasta was cooked al dente, included a nice variety of large and fresh shrimp, clams, mussels, and the tomato based sauce had a nice, but not an overbearing, spicy kick to it.
The tagliatelle with meat ragu was also very good. One bite into the pasta and you can taste how thin and fresh it is. The dish had the right amount of sauce and was not heavy like your other typical pasta dishes.
The lasagna (Vegetarian) was good, but not as good as I hoped it would be based on other reviews. Since the dish contained no meat, I thought it would be lighter to eat...However, the ricotta cheese made it a tad heavy to eat after awhile. I did enjoy the basil/pesto spread in between the layers though!
Overall, I enjoyed the food and restaurant decor - not too casual nor too upscale. It was quite busy but still intimate enough to hold a conversation without yelling across the table. Great location (for tourists),fresh food & wallet friendly!
My husband and I stayed in Seattle for several days. We had made reservations well beforehand in order to ensure we had a table due to popularity and recommendations by the restaurant s website. We were extremely disappointed in the food and customer service. The hostess that checked us in was rude and did not seem at all pleasant or welcoming. Our waiter asked if we had any questions. I asked what were some of their popular favorites... I was quickly given a condescending attitude of how they don t have a set menu (how was I supposed to know?) and they don t go by favorites. The food was subpar. We both have had excellent meals at many different restaurants for far less money. Overall paid a premium price to be treated like garbage.
The lasagna was cooked to perfection . The creme brulee was good too, but was a bit too sweet for my taste.
Food is always delicious, try the special whatever it is it s amazing! The ambiance is great for friends or a date. If you go during dinner rush without a reservation you will have to wait a long time, I suggest you do!
Food is delicious. Try the cheese sampler! Bathroom plays carnival music, silks hang from the ceiling. Get your tickets for dinner and entertainment early. Amazing water view and everything is so fancy and whimsical. I had a hot toddy drink that was absolutely amazing but not so hard with the alcohol but it s an amazing sipper with dinner. A must try for everyone, all ages.
Good Lord this place is amazing!!! Definitely the hidden gem of Seattle
Nice out door dining experience for the summer of Covid. The food stood out for the taste of of high quality ingredients. Portion sizes tend to be European (not go big or go home) but it is still very filling if you go with over two courses. Whoever supplies their tomatoes knows how to get the best out of the fruit.
The atmosphere and our waitress was amazing!!! The food is so good a must try if in Seattle!!
Don't waste your time. Nothing impressive about the food here. i Wanted to go to the best place to eat in Seattle so I looked at the reviews. Very unimpressed. Big dissapointment.
Great service - very attentive, but not obtrusive. We were seated very early. The food was great - the tuna starter is amazing! I followed mine with the salmon... done to perfection - the rest of my friends loved theirs too. We were not rushed and had the most enjoyable evening. And the music policy was very cool...
I had the best meal I have ever eaten here tonight. The decor is eclectic but very tasteful. The staff was so friendly and attentive. Our waitress was extremely knowledgeable about the menu and the wines. And the food was exquisite. It was expertly prepared with obviously fresh ingredients. The orange cardamon creme brulee was absolutely to die for. My friend and I were so lucky to be able to eat there. They were booked and not taking walk-ins. We asked if we could see inside and when we were inside looking in awe of the decor the owner herself invited us in and got us a table and gave us a tour. I highly recommend The Pink Door.
Romantic, huge flying baby angels, and live music. Every dish is exquisite and unique for italian food.
The food here was great, the ambiance was fun, staff were good. Prices seemed slightly high, but I suppose that's to be expected.
I would like to return sometime when the show is happening.
Wonderfully creative and delicious cuisine. The chef here is a genius. The restaurant itself is elegantly casual. Everything was perfectly cooked, paired, and beyond satisfying for the price. The food was excellent and the waiter we had was very knowledgeable about the dishes and various wine and beers. Thank you for an amazing dining experience for my birthday. Highly recommended!
Had a negroni and the summer risotto. Can't recommend this place enough. It's my favorite restaurant in Seattle. Seems like an amazing place for a date night as well.
I like a waiter who guides me on my food journey. Our waiter gave us thoughtful food advice, guided us toward better options when we didn't know we might be leading astray, and his lemon shirt reminded me of the lemon festival in Italy.
Pricey for ok food. Couldn't find the place for lack of a sign, but once we were told to look for the pink door... We found it. There are distractions across the way so we weren't even looking in the right direction!
Kids pizza was alright. Good size portion. Chefs choice fish was decent, nothing spectacular.
Such great food, love the atmosphere and why not enjoy live music or entertainment during dinner? Lunch on their patio in the summer is wonderful too. Just go, you won't regret it!
I, along with four friends, celebrated my birthday here and I cannot begin to tell you just how amazing the service, food, drinks, and atmosphere were! Our waiter was so attentive and courteous! Management was so nice and welcoming! The food was authentic and the drinks were delicious and strong! I thoroughly enjoyed my visit and I hope to return on my next visit to Seattle!
Amazing food and service. Servers are top notch here. Also a fun trapeze show and live music here
The pink flavor you will only appreciate when you go in
Maybe the best Italian restaurant in Seattle. Spectacularly good pasta and excellent views of the market and the sound. I recommend going for lunch, as it's a little easier to get a table, but I'd love to come back sometime for dinner to see the show. The only disadvantage of this place is that afterward you'll be too full to enjoy snacking around Pike Place Market!
Great ambience and water view . Great service. Delicious food!! Lots of GF, DF choices.
the cutest little restaurant. Definitely try to get a spot on the patio if available.
This was a recommendation to try here in Pike Place...We loved it! Great food, very romantic Italian setting and a cool entrance.
Stopped by The Pink Door for an after dinner drink with a friend. The table cloths are fun but the raspberry vodka/tea drink was amazing!!!
We have been coming here for 30 years, and have never been disappointing. Nice people too.
Great service, wonderful food, and an excellent view of the Sound!
Waiter was amazing and had great recommendations! The atmosphere was also impressive!
I had jimmy John's for lunch and it was much better. The only thing that was good. Was me adding tabby to my salad and the mama's meatballs. That rice dish makes me gag. Yuck
High quality Italian food at very reasonable prices. We have visited on more than one occasion and have never been disappointed in the slightest. Additionally, the view from the back room is fantastic. We have yet to catch any of the live shows so I cannot comment on that aspect.
Great atmosphere, quirky entertainment, delicious food
Great long rib. I was just annoyed when, after ordering garlic bread, we learned they give you free bread with your entrees. Why would you charge us $6 for a grilled version of the free bread? I wouldn't have ordered it if I had known.
Great happy hours. Great selection of food. Great vibe.
Definitely get the lasagna - it s fantastic! The bread with roasted garlic and cheese is great start (though a bit of effort to spread the garlic). We went on a Wednesday with no reservation at 7:30 and were able to get a table for four. They had live music and great cocktails. Definitely recommend!
It s behind a pink door in the alleyway, with no signage. Wasn t hard to find.
Great restaurant but you need to make reservations. Food was reasonably priced and very tasty especially the dessert. Service was good and we had an amazing view of the sunset in the back room inside the restaurant.
Fun atmosphere, reasonable prices, phenomenal taste!
Only the freshest ingredients, Italian done right, and fantastic atmosphere ta boot.
One of my favorite places now. Excellent food/drink/service.
Had a romantic and delicious Valentine s Day dinner here. Highly recommended!
What can I say but wow! From the decor to the wait staff to the food everything was excellent! I would recommend that if you get the chance to visit Seattle make the Pink Door a definite must when deciding where to eat!
Recommend asking for the half seafood order for appetizer - fresh mussels! Nice atmosphere but make a reservation as it s quite small. After 7 pm once an hour there s entertainment with a woman doing aerial acrobatics...
The Pink Door is one of my go to restaurants in Seattle. It was hard to find the first time but I knew I was in the right place when I saw the eponymous door.
The menu changes seasonally but will always have the staples. My favorite is the linguine al vignole (linguine with clams) but in the winter I often get the lasagna Pink Door because it has that comfort appeal to it.
Like the place and the food is delicious, I am grateful thanks!
The Pink Door Lasagna melts in your mouth! Many tender layers of spinach pasta, cheese, and covered in a basil sweet sauce. So good, and with the effort to find parking. We are steps away from other attractions. The lasagna can't be gluten free however they have gluten free pasta options as well as a gluten free bread. Yes, we'd eat here again!
Live music, wonderful food and good service! Nice selection of wine, cocktail and desserts. Perfect for a romantic dinner!
Fun atmosphere and delicious food. Trapeze artist was fantastic!
The Pink Door is a sophisticated Italian restaurant that is an elegant space with ornate accents. The staff are great and really know what is up. I would highly recommend this to anyone who is in and/ or traveling to Seattle.
Loved this restaurant while visiting Pike Market. Definitely make reservations on Open Table. We were able to walk right in. We sat outside but I wish we had stayed inside so I could see that more. Tables outside are cute with each one having a different table cloth. Lots of hanging flowers adorn this area but there is not really a view of anything special. This place reminds me of a speak easy where you have an unmarked door and walk downstairs to the hostess stand. Food was very delicious and happy to recommend the berry crisp for dessert. Yum! Would love to go back!
Iconic venue for food, drinks, and entertainment in the Market.
Excellent food and excellent service. My wife and two young daughters split the lasagna and the rigatoni and meatballs and a ceasar salad. Everything tasted amazing. Best ceasar salad I've ever tasted. The service was excellent. They rushed our order since we had a flight to make that evening and they were super speedy and friendly too.
Excellent excellent Italian restaurant! Cozy and romantic setting inside, and an amazing patio looking over the waterfront! For cocktail, I had Baby & Co which was just right amount of sweetness and bubbles. For dinner, I tried their risotto which changes seasonally - they currently have crabmeat risotto. It was very light and delicious!
Excellent food italian seafood. I would highly recommend going on a show night.
Love the food and the view! But their services could be a little better.
It was a little pricy but good. I got the crab risotto. It was really nice but I'd try something else next time
italian food, yeah, very delicious. prices were fair for the quality of the food.
One of the best Italian restaurants in Seattle, hands down!!
We had CROSTINI AI FUNGHI, LASAGNA PINK DOOR, RISOTTO, RICOTTA CHEESECAKE and Boobie cake. Perfect for taking someone out on a date!!
This was my favorite meal from a recent trip to Seattle. The food was absolutely delicious.
The location was hard to find at first (we entered from the alley above). No clear signage in Post Alley until we realized we should be looking for an entrance with an actual pink door as the name suggests. Luckily we had our Google Maps out to lead the way, since the door was more of a peach/flesh tone than actual pink. Haha
The seasoning on the ice served with the oysters was a very clever twist on the traditional serving.
I ordered the winter risotto and was impressed with the freshness of the dish. Risotto isn t a particularly difficult meal to make but the butternut squash and brown sugar meshed so well together. Slightly sweet but enough fresh flavors to make the dish more balanced.
The decor was a little gaudy, but the seating was comfortable.
Overall, I would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a deliciously cooked meal. Price is slightly higher than most casual eateries but I found the quality of food to be worth it.
My favorite meal while visiting !!! Awesome food! Super cute and nice views!
The restaurant is one of the best in the city. The only problem is you need to wait and put your name in but it is actually worth it. The food is very good and also the drinks. The service is good and the restaurant is always clean. I highly recommend this place if you are looking for an elegant restaurant.
Delicious! Both of our entrees were amazing. Service was good. Great wine selection. Love the ambiance here as well. Very welcoming.
The experience was surely a highlight of our visit. We were seated promptly and felt a warm welcome by staff and our server. She was excellent! We ordered a halibut dish and gnocchi. Oh my goodness! Both were delicious. We ordered a bottle of wine recommended by our server and it was perfect as well. We were both so pleased with the service and delicious food. Would definitely revisit this restaurant should we find ourselves in Seattle in the future.
Came here for my Anniversary dinner while spending the weekend in seattle from Texas and it was DELICIOUS! The lasagne is so good!
Great for locals and tourists. It never gets boring there and food is delicious
Great food and ambience. Didn't have to wait, which was a plus!
The soup in the menu is a must during winter! And the lasagna never fails.
Keep it up!!
This place has been highly recommended to us since we moved here and I'm absolutely glad we made it. Celebrated Valentine's Day early and we were thrilled by how adorable it was inside and how delicious all of our drinks and food were. Not to mention all of the staff we interacted with were extremely friendly too.
Came here with a friend between lunch and dinner and had delicious clam pasta. Very fresh tasting and clean clams (no sand) but a bit heavy on the lemon. Waitress was very polite and knowledgeable, though she described all the white wines on the list by the glass as dry, and the one I ordered was definitely semi-sweet. Their pizzas looked great, but I wish we had known that we were too late for the lunch menu and too early for the dinner menu, since some patrons were definitely enjoying dishes that were not offered on the menu we were given.
