Got there early but to get my Room was charged $25 apparently and nicer one. you can get a nicer Room at the Luxor for a cheaper price everything looked clean but the restroom shower was never officially cleaned . to the doors didn't work and people allowing slamming of doors and running up-and-down the halls late at night with kids.

It's a part of Vegas history. Just fringing off downtown on the Strip. It was called Vegas World before it was the Stratosphere, now the Strat. It was owned by a fellow named Bob Stupak. I remember way back when he ran for mayor. He was beaten by Jan Jones, I believe. Her family had a car dealership.

My room was great. The service in the casino was great. But when it was time to get some very needed sleep, there were more than 1 rooms of black people that carried their laundry ( aurguring and fighting to the hallway) I had to call security 2 times. And to get to talk to someone was also difficult. This should not happen in a hotel such as the strat.

Still lots of old and dirty rooms.

Still lots of old and dirty rooms.
We had a grand suite, had stains all over the carpet the furniture looks like it was from the 70's. The public areas are nice but the room have not all been updated. Wait another year and a half then it should all be done.

They have poker...so that s good. They also have resort fees so that sucks. Hope you feel good about ripping off tourists. Some of these people come from far places from all over the globe. And then yeah...I know we said your room is $30 a night but really it s $80 Shame on you.

Do not check out here without check out receipt in this hotel. They would charge you if you are doing an early checkout. I was waiting in queue for check out. There was very big line and the Front desk lady asked me my room number, wrote it down and said I am good to leave. She did the same with everyone standing in line and did not give receipt. when I got back I was charged for the day I did not even stay. after calling back to the hotel they said they have no records about my early checkout. very disappointing. Will never go to this hotel ever again.

Check in took around 30 to 45 minutes around 5pm. There was at least 8 people working to check in people. We got an elite room for one night, one of the renovated rooms and it was nice. Room was clean and at night you can't hear people in the hallway, which is a plus. The bathroom had a lot of towels and extra toilet paper. Check out was easy and fast in the TV in the room.

We invited some friends (not staying with us) to the pool and all the guy at the pool asked was for the room key and gave us pool towels. Pool was cold, but clean. There were 2 spa tubs. Pool closes around 7pm, but it didn't say closing time anywhere.

To go to the top of the tower is $10 for guest staying at the hotel and one more other guest on the weekend. The observation deck was worth the $ and it was a really nice view at night. They close at 1am.

My time in the hotel was satisfactory. Due to the good prices, I was able to take the new rooms, called 'Elevate' rooms, which were very nice, modern and good looking. There are nice restaurants, and the craft buffet of 'All you can eat' is only 22$ plus tax, and it is, in my opinion, best in class, totally worthy, specially if you are able to eat a lot. About negative side, if you have a package bought online, like an Amazon one, they will charge you 5$, unlike hotels like Residence Inn, Westin or Holiday Inn, wherein that is free. Going to the tower will cost you 9$ if you are guest (which I didn't get why, since it said 5$ in the screens). The gym has very old (and incomplete) machines, and it seriously needs remodeling.

From here, you literally can see the entire city. And the bar at the last floor is amazing.
Also on top of the tower they have some extreme attractions but I didn't had the chance to try them out.
For sure this is the best view above Las Vegas

Good price, I enjoyed the location as well.it wasn't as hectic as my sister whom stayed at the Paris, it's an easy in and out. The valet was great Luis was my favorite. The hotel if I'm going to be honest is old and aged, the room was dreadful to me. Air conditioner made noise, bathroom pipes made noise, sink water smelled polluted.the carpet stunk, and the TV stand had wholes in it. A lot of things were just unreasonably outdated for how much money they have. We were able to go up to the top however the counter lady did make us aware that on other days you still have to pay even as a hotel guest.to of that's stupid when you have to pay a daily hotel/resort fee.

Customer service has been great. Restaurant choices are few but still great food. A lot of places closed with no hours posted. However, everything overall we have throughly enjoyed our stay.

I have been charged twice and have been transferred to an answering machine for three weeks. I'm a proud retired army veteran and was told I was being charged $29, which was fine. Upon arrival they changed me again stating no one had the authority to offer the discount. As of today, I still have two charges on my credit card. Yesterday was Veterans Day, I was grateful and proud to have served my country. Today, I'm still getting no cooperation, just another answering machine. I really want to cry, it's frustrating to be treated so low. I want everyone to at least be aware that if you have issue with this casino, please resolve before leaving because it's been three weeks and everyone transferred me to a voicemail.

I really enjoyed the hotel. The only thing that surprised me was there was no fridge or microwave or coffee pot in the rooms to be able to make yourself a cup of coffee in the morning. Staff a really good rooms were clean. The view from the stratosphere is so cool

Absolutely loved it, great price, nice clean hotel. You don't even have to leave the hotel there's a million things to do restaurants, retail stores, shows every night, casino. We were on the 23rd floor that view was amazing & our tub was huge as a jacuzzi.

Got a great deal on WorkingAdvantage on a Suite.

Got a great deal on WorkingAdvantage on a Suite.
Check in line took about an hour.
Air conditioning in room was a complete joke.
Enjoyed every other aspect!
Buffet was really good.
Casino was well maintained and relatively smoke free

I would rather stay here than on the strip. Rates are very affordable and patrons get free access to the deck. Get the whole suite and it has good views too. Less crowded than other strip casinos and checkin is a breeze. You can walk half a mile and take monorail to get access to the strip. Resort fees are a scourge of the Vegas strip and it can t be avoided here too.

I love the restaurant. We had filet mignon and lobster tail. The lounge is good for just drinks and apps. The spinning 360 view of Las Vegas is beautiful. Sunset was gorgeous. Then, the city woke up to a new night!

The Stratosphere is on the South end of the Las Vegas Strip. It has been recently rebranded as the Strat. The inside has been remodeled and the Pod as the top has a cafe and new 108 floor bar. You can go up into the pod after 4pm for free if you are not riding any of the rides at the top.

The bathrooms were so small. No towel racks. The showers are open. The shower had hair stuck all on the walls when I got into the room. They turned the water off for so called maintenance for almost four hours. In all my years of living and traveling I have NEVER had the water turned off on me in a hotel. The restaurant for the hotel itself(dining in) was not a pleasant experience. That's just a few things that were bothersome. I wouldn't ever recommend this hotel to anyone. It came highly recommended to me and I had four rooms there for my family and I. So the service I received was uncalled for. I spent a lot of money at that hotel. I'm just so disappointed, I really wish the stay would have been better.

Avoid this hotel in my opinion. Our trip to the now called Strat was a horrible experience, even with paying for an upgraded room. The rooms where cheaply finished, the heater a/c unit did not cool the room and was loud enough to wake the dead when it kicked in. The bathroom changes made the window and the room fill with moisture like a steam room. The window always had a pool of water under it. The resort fees are high considering the pool was closed and the wifi is slow and limited to 2 mb per day unless you pay an additional 10.99. The hotel is basically off the strip it is so far north. I recommend finding any other hotel.

AMAZING VIEW

AMAZING VIEW

Strongly recommend going just prior to sunset. Absolutely beautiful views for the sunset and very cool to see the city at night from this view. There s also a bar way up there. Also 4 crazy rides to try for those daring enough - bungee jumping, a roller coaster that goes off the side, a ride that spins you around over the side, then the ride that raises you up on the needle of the Stratosphere then drops you. I didn t do any rides but my wife loved the drop ride. The view alone was enough for me.

Someone left drinks on top of the fire extinguisher. They were still there 3 days later. The staff were disinterested and poorly trained (check-in, pool staff, skypod, buffet, restaurants) They don't miss an opportunity to over charge you and they don't EVER not for one minute take the time to provide extra service.... Not their job, nope not doing it. Housekeeping clean rooms, they are not moving glasses from the corridor. Pool guys hand out towels they do not know what time the rides close and are definitely not about to find out for you.

Superb. Mould entry ticket fee that includes 2 adventure rides located on the top the building. Bar on the topmost floor has great view and drinks are available for affordable price. I went in the afternoon but i suggest to go in the night when whole Vegas is glowing like crazy.

Check in takes LOOOONNNGGG, not sure why. Clean rooms, no smoke smell in rooms. Nice hotel on the new strip for the right price. Wish I could have stayed more than one night to enjoy it all. They seemed to have nice shops and plenty to eat in the hotel itself which is ideal in the newer strip.

I stayed here about one day here. The room was just ok. Nothing great about the room for families. DO NOT EXPECT A GOOD VIEW FROM YOUR ROOM. They show a beautiful view ....in the ad poster but reality is contrary. They charge extra for view. I visited with my family so i dint spend any time in casino. So no comments on casino. The stratosphere tower experience is good, but little costly. You should definitely find out weather and current status of the rides on tower and then plan.if more wind is there, they dont run atleast 2 of the 4 rides.......so definitely check status and plan.try a buffet available in here,it is good and spread is so big.

The best view of the strip. Plan to go about 30 minutes before sunset to watch the strip light up at night. The best NY strip I have had, they have upped their game since the last time went about 10 yrs ago. Th hey vfc have also upped the prices, so buyer beware. This is the reason I deducted one star. Food, service and view were excellent.

The Strat has really made a name for itself. Giving itself for facelift a name change. In terms of spectacular attractions food and gambling. One of the tallest structures on the Las Vegas strip giving you one of the best restaurants with one of the best views they also spins around wow you're sitting. Go and check out the wonderful sunset or sunrise if you look east, from high high up. The buffet here is one of my favorite breakfast buffets and brunch combined. I am always enjoying telling others about the buffet and other eateries. You can clearly hear and see people screaming from excitement. You can eat the chocolate off the glass if you are careful. Do not bite it please. The Strat get five stars for the new make over and name change.

I had a good experience here but they charged me extra to keep the same room under two different reservations i had made without me knowing. When i asked about it i was told that there would be no problem with just keeping the same room. I was not told i was going to be charged for keeping the room. If i had known i would have checked out and checked back in to a different room. Beware, if you have 2 different reservations for rooms do check out and check back in at the later date otherwise you will be charged extra without your knowledge for opting to stay in the same room. The restaurants are good but overpriced in the street you can find good food easily. The one worth going to is the buffet if you are going with a group of people.

Nice hotel at the end of the strip. I hope that the loudspeaker in the room at 7am doesn't blast out a message "there has been an incident in the hotel" every day... Other than that, not bad...

The hotel is not well let and requires a vehicle to visit Strip st. Also, the standard rooms are quite old and does not have frigobar, coffee machine or any other expected amenities for a hotel at this level. The room are large but looks like a old fashioned motel room from 90's. They might have better rooms in high level floors. At least they are clean and everything works as expected.

The staff is friendly and you can do check-out via TV as well.

The have a meal at Top of the World restaurant is required reservation. Highly recommend a visit.

Thrilling rides at the top of the tower with an amazing panoramic view of Las Vegas featuring the desert from the observation deck. The rides are something else when you realise the height at which you're at. The most thrilling for me was the one going back and forth (first one in the picture). Did this and didn't feel the need to pay for the LINQ wheel. And it's cold at the top, especially when it's winter and raining. Go prepared.

Easy free parking, but large vehicles or full size cars need to park on upper or outer regions of parking structure. Went to Strat and be prepared to be searched like at airport. Vets discounts or active military discounts offered for main observation deck tickets. Also provides a discount to pizza place after exiting the Strat tower. Best time to go is in the evening or sunset to get the best light show of entire Vegas!

Expect to pay $20-30 for an adult to the Top of The World , which I expected and made a trip out of my way for at the end of my stay in las Vegas but also if you have bags they require them to be checked downstairs just to see the view which was NOT told to me on my way up. I don't know the price for checking bags but that ruined my experience since I did not want to risk the extra time in line after shopping in the stores on the way up. I am very disappointed I could not do what I planned for that reason. Casino looked nice though.

went here for a few days on vacation ,nice hotel ,its clean however its a little bit of a walk to the main strip ,this hotel is located at the end of the strip so during the summer when its 114 degrees ,you'll highly regret walking that far, you'll be dehydrated and hot. so if you don't mind walking that's fine or take a taxi or an uber.

Free parking (very rare in Vegas now a days), great restaurant up top, lots of entertainment, shopping and a beautiful view of Las Vegas to boot. This is the place to entertain your out of town visitors. If you don't want to "skydive", you can watch from the top or the bottom. Both views are entertaining. Half price happy hour at the bar. Heck yeah!

Seriously for what they charge, you can fo better. Lots of complaints about the new rooms from many people. BUT!!!! You must go see Celestia! Surprisingly good and I think people don't go see it so much because it's at the strat but it is a great show. If they sold more cheap tickets to last minute people they would get more attendance. 40 $ tickets are great.

Checking in took about an hour but the staff was friendly and helpful. We requested a room upgrade and got it with no hassle or additional charges. Asked for a late checkout since our flight wasn't leaving until 11p. Found out that we could get the room an additional night for $4 more than the late checkout which was nice so we could change before heading to the airport.

Really fun rides at the top. Always enjoy the rides. Gave them a 4 star because of the staff at the restaurant. We got off the elevator on the wrong floor and when we realized it we started to leave. One staff said it was ok and we could walk around and look. Another one stopped us and told us we had to leave. He was a little rude the way he handled it and made us feel uncomfortable.
