I have visited vegas before and stayed else where but do to over booking I had no choice but to reserve here. I would not come back i was very disappointed all the way! There is way better hotels/resort. First of all the guy asked us to upgrade our from for $15more a night which he said the rms were better and upgraded but in reality it was not a big difference but the furniture and wallpaper etc. The view from the rms was lame we could see mountains but thats it. There was blood stains in our shower and bugs in the shower too and carpet. Some of the covers were dirty and this was in there supossiably in the new rms. We were on the 16th flr. They charge Resort fees which is retarded beacuse you still have to pay for the attractions they have, yeah they give you a $5 discount but oh wow! And as a guest at the hotel you have to pay to go to then tower just go seen the view $25. No good TV channels only like 40ish and some are just information chanels. There mall they have is not even a mall just shops which most of them are closed and at times it will be dead. I did like that they had vale parking. Some staff were nice, check in/out was at a good speed. If u want to do there attractions stay at another hotel and come to just do that! NEVER COMING BACK TO THIS RESORT. For the price book somewhere else much better quality.

Stayed for a night, bed was great after a long flight and lots of things to do that you can cover in over half a day. The observation deck is very neat and watching people jump off the building is neat too.

A good selection of restaurants with tasty food and not exorbitant pieces like in the Strip. A nice roof top pool bar and the rides on the building. More than one pools. The rooms were comfortable and spacious, did not smell smoke inside the rooms. WiFi in the room was spotty, in the casino, it worked fine. Good value, far away from the main activities of Vegas strip, can drive or take a bit of a walk. At 1230a, the check in line took 2 hrs. That was stressful.

It was my first time @ the stratosphere Vegas and my last Time. Rooms were not clean and the elevators take for ever. Trash in the hallways and poor security. The thing I did like here was the valet.

Loved the tower quick tip if you go to the lounge just before 4pm when opens you can get half price drinks and apps and after a drink you can go up to the observation deck free of charge. Now once your on to the views are stunning! I was there right around sunset you get to watch the whole sky change and with out alot of people around.

Awful experience. Long check in. First room was dirty , second room dirty. Called and asked them to come change the dirty sheets it took them over 45 mins. Willing to give 1 night of over priced resort fees but nothing more. Very rude service. Everytime you call the front desk they put you on hold for long periods of time but if you walk down there they are all standing around talking.

My experience here was lack luster. Upon check in I was given a hard time when paying for my reservation. We were then given a room that had a weird smell, was missing certain things like the bed covers and the tv/lamp was out of place. The next day, the hotel did provide us another better room which we were much happier with but there was a lot of dust by the nightstand.

The rooftop pool is great, loved the DJ, great atmosphere.

The room was a nice size and the bed was very comfortable. There is a lot to do in the hotel itself. I had so much fun that I plan on going back in a couple of months!!! I would definitely recommend the Strat!!! Great location and friendly staff!!!

The Stratosphere is fun, a little bit pricey but if you like adventure it's worth it. We only went for the rides on the top and to jump off the side of the tower. We had a blast but also realized that we are adrenalin junkies and need more for it to be amazing. Don't get me wrong most people would call this an adrenalin rush! If you like feeling like a kid again, or are looking for a fun, but totally different way to get your night started I would recommended going!

Clean hotel, reasonable pricing. It has a small casino floor but despite its location so far north it does get some patrons in the evening hours. Not sure if they were there to gamble ,ride the rides or go to the club upstairs. I was very happy that they were able to accommodate me when I arrived early got check-in. as we drove from Dallas. I was given a room when I arrived (upgrade....of course), and was able to get cleaned up so we could hit the strip.

At check in we were told they had sold out of the type of room I already paid for so I was required to pay for an upgrade. This upgrade could be paid in cash for $30 a night or on a card for $40 a night. Sounds to me like someone was trying to make a quick $120 for themselves. Then the desk clerk says we could go up to the top of the stratosphere for $10 since we were guests but upon trying to go we were told $20 a person and it didn't matter if we were staying at the hotel or not. Their restaurants are typical overpriced junk. The "UPGRADED" room was nothing special and had a sorry excuse for a bed.
They can keep their overpriced shenanigans. I won't be staying here again

UPDATE. Thanks for your generic reply that pretty much means you guys don't care since you got your money anyway.

I feel like we overpaid for this hotel, even though we made an early reservation to try to save some money. Our hotel room doesn't even come with a small fridge or microwave. We had to pay extra just to have a safe in the room. Expect to spend a lot of money here. Service here is adequate but should be better.

Nice clean room. My air conditioner was really loud and barley blew air and my bathroom light blew out in the night i guess. But other than that it was a safe spot to rest my head. Did not take advantage of any thing except buffet for breakfast, and that was good. Only one night, got lost a little down stairs but all was ok employees will guide you.

I came here with my boyfriend and we brought a Roku so we could watch our shows. We finally get checked in at around 1am. We go to the room and try to connect to the WiFi so we weren t killing our Data plan. Won t let us connect and no says no internet connection. We go to bed, wake up and it suddenly is connected. We try to set the Roku up but it says no internet connection. For the price you pay it is not worth it. No fridge, no microwave, no ice buckets in room and good luck trying to get internet. He can t even connect his laptop for work. Spend your money somewhere else.

With a rotating restaurant and the best view in town what's not to like. No prices on the menu so live by the old saying, "If you have to ask, you can't afford it." For those adventurous souls head to the very top for an amusement park like ride that dangles you off the side. Or if you like to live dangerously take the plunge of the side and free fall towards the bottom.

I've been staying here for years giving them a lot of business sending them a lot of business I come in at about 2 a.m. get a room I assumed that I would be able to get at least 8 hours of sleep I get in my room lay down sleep for a few hours it's not even 10 yet I have somebody blowing up the phone asking me to check out so for $80 I got to sleep in a room 6 hours then I have rude management banging on my door horrible experience I will never stay here again don't give them your money because they will treat you like garbage the Santa Fe will give you a full 24 hours no matter what time you show up because they are not trying to steal your hard-earned money and they actually want your business and respect you and treat you with decency I've been going to the stratosphere for years and that one bad experience will make me never go there again and I highly recommend don't give these people your money they will treat you like garbage and the manager that showed up on my room trying to argue with me worst manager ever why not talk to me and see what you could do to make the situation better but no they have no concept of customer service ruined my entire vacation I stayed at the stratosphere no less than 15 times I've brought friends family here everybody and to be basically thrown out of the casino because I came at 3 a.m. and was forced out rudely

I gave them 3.5 stars. Nice enough hotel with farely low rates but not the cleanest when you look close. The hotel's brand restaurants are sub par. The location is off the beaten path. Like the very end of the strip which is good if you want to be away from everything and everyone but if you're looking for that Las Vegas excitement stay somewhere more center to the strip. The top of the tower is cool and they have a couple of nice pools, bars and lounges. I'm just used to stay somewhere more mainstream.

Room smelled so badly of cigarette smoke we could hardly stand it. We arrived late and after a long drive and the long trek from the parking garage to the room, the last thing we wanted to do was move, so we stuck it out. The smell was really bad and we booked a non-smoking room. It is also not a great location because it is so far from the main part of the strip. It is well priced though. I would not stay here again!!

Very disappointed, booked for 4 day 3 night. When we checked in the attendant convinced use to upgrade to a family room(2 beds /foldout couch) room was old and outdated. Tub/shower was clogged and water came up through the sink. Called twice for repairs and nothing. They finally came and moved us directly to the room underneath which also ended up being clogged. They moved use again to a so called upgraded room. Tiny room that we didn't fit into and 1 of us had to sleep on the floor. They gave us 1 free night and deducted the upgrade fee. Honestly they should of credited the whole stay for the inconvenience. FYI the second room was disgusting, carpet really needs to be clean or replaced... Never again

The rooms is just fine, the buffet is quite OK and inexpensive. I don t go to the casino, but it is not big. They have a nice observation tower with some high-thrill rides. Going up the tower is free for hotel guests, so it gives additional value, and the view is fantastic, especially at night time.

There are nice shops on the second floor. And going up the tower to the indoor and outdoor observation decks, and going on the thrill rides is cool, especially for tourists. I am a local, and I used to love this place, especially for one of the restaurants. But now that restaurant is not there anymore and they have taken out half of the casino, so I no longer have reason to go there. A word of advice for people not familiar with the area: do not walk around the neighborhood behind the building. It is not a tourist area and is considered one of the roughest areas in town. Don t let that stop you from visiting the casino, just stay on the main road.

I booked a table for four and requested sitting by the window more than a month ago. When we arrived we got assigned to a table not next to the window. I immediately asked the host about the sitting, but she only said because there were a lot requests for window sitting and it's based on first come first serve.

Upon the time of arrival, there was another table for four in our section available. Instead letting us to sit by that table, the host let a couple to take it. This happened the year before. There was a whole section of tables by the window was a vacant, but the host didn't assigned us to sit there. The host team should really be trained again how to sit customers according to availabilities and requests.

Besides that, the food in the restaurant was delicious, and the view is amazing!

By far the worst hotel experience, we arrive to check in 2 out of 3 of our reservations couldn t be found. We had confirmation # & everything. Manager finally after about 45 mins of sending front desk back and forth came out. They gave us all our keys. We go up leave our stuff and come back down didn't really pay mind to the room. So we come back up to finally settle in unpack. 1 room, extremely dirty!! Vomit in the restroom. Scond day; Second room had bed bugs and I got bitten all over. Now I have red ugly bumps everywhere! They switched us rooms to a different floor and although a bit nice same situation. At this point we were leaving in an hour so just left it alone but horrible horrible stay!

My husband and I went here to get the Bananas Foster dessert. We had it before, and it was delicious. Unfortunately, they stopped serving it the week before we visited. So we tried something new. We got the Baked Alaska and the 14 layer chocolate cake. Everyone raved about the chocolate cake. However, we found the cake to be dry and not worth $14 a slice. The Baked Alaska, on the other hand, was delicious. I would come back for that dessert. The service was friendly, but extremely slow. We also enjoyed the lights of Las Vegas while we ate.

The hotels location is pretty bad. The surrounding buildings are very run down and have many homeless people. The main floor of the hotel is nice and the room is very adequate. Its not very clean, very dusty behind the side table. There was a rip in my sheets. No microwave, refridgerator on request, no water other than the sink water. The bathroom is big but its obvious that its been used many times. Not the cleanest. The hotels cleaning maids do not know how to speak english and they come in at around 10 so if your planning to stay in during the day, you have to leave the hotel during the day. Very cheap hotel so it makes sense but if you have the money to spend it, stay in a better hotel that is directly on the strip.

Really great price and we had a really great room. Always nice and clean when we came back! The casino is great there's a Starbucks, a few restaurants and stores and yes, a McDonald's. As long as you get some bus passes it's such a great spot and very easy to get into the center of the strip on the bus.

Had a great time. Service at the bar was decent. The renovations were nice in comparison to how the hotel previously looked (basing off feedback from locals and previous guests). The bar restaurant "Top of The World", we only got drinks which took forever to get but then we found out it was happy hour with 1/2 off apps. :) We will definitely be coming back.

First time visiting! Went up to the Observation Deck. Just a site to see everything from that vantage point. A little disappointed that the lounge didn't stay open late but we are still in a pandemic. I, personally, wouldn't go on the rides but I can see the adrenaline junkies getting a rush. If I visit Las Vegas again, I'd come back here.
