Oh man, I love stratosphere tower, they have good ...
Oh man, I love stratosphere tower, they have good hotels and casinos.
Oh man, I love stratosphere tower, they have good hotels and casinos.
Pretty boring or my expectations were too high. Come to this casino for the many rides atop and visit their restaurants in day before things close.
Great place, lots to keep everyone busy. The 108th floor is fabulous, fantastic views
I love this place!!! I try to visit it EVERY time I m in Vegas!!! A lot of fun ALL around!!! Great location!!! Best place to see vegas!!
It's an older Las Vegas casino, the rooms are good for the price. Not far from the Sahara monorail station. Family friendly lite, with the roller-coaster on the top of the stratosphere and a few other high adrenaline attractions.
We only came to ride the attractions. Unfortunately the one we wanted, insanity, is now closed. The staff was friendly and helpful. View was amazing!
What an amazing evening. Joel from Lansing Michigan was our waiter and he was FAN-TAS-TIC and everyone to the manager Anthony want to ensure a wonderful is had and they clearly accomplished their goal. Highly (see what I did there?) recommend!
It's ok...nothing special. Too far to walk to anything other than a 7-Eleven. Parking is free and easy too.
Its a must visit attraction in Vegas. Get to the top to get a birds view of Vegas. They have thrill rides to dont miss them
If you re a thrill seeker this is it. It s cool just to hang out on the observation deck and chill as well.
It rained the entire 5 days we were there. There was so much to do in the hotel that we rarely ventured outside of it. Worked out perfectly since we had no idea what the weather would be like when we booked.
I love the view and the rush (adrenaline) I feel from the Big Shot!!!!
It was exciting watching my cousin jump for her birthday.
it's good....but don't get to the top cause you'll feel the tower moving the hotel. And the hotel rooms will be dirty cause the house ladies don't clean right. So I give them a 3....I wish I can give them a zero.
Clean simple not too expensive not luxurious but they have a/c flat screen TV a safe for your valuables i got a room with two queen beds and little table, closet with hangers a iron & ironing board, mirrors & lamps and 4 drawers a desk & a chair decent room
Had fun with the wife we had a blast we will be back soon
Nice hotel, especially for what you pay for! Quick check in, clean rooms, nice staff. I appreciate the precautions they ve put into place due to COVID.
Really like this type of hotel. Very recommended for any people that want to pass a good days in family, or with friends for a good party.
The views in the restaurant is literally impossible to forget the views, because when you eat once, you need to eat every day here ;)
And have a good swimming pool and height game attraction. We go with our family, but ipf this year can come again, i really like it
Thankss you very much for your services and keep going.
Great hotel on the edge of strip. Would love to see them add a club or something for more nightlife. We were forced to go elsewhere
For the price you pay you get a pretty good value. The casino and restaurants are renovated. the small mall had all the amenities you may need for the trip. The only knock against them is the hotel/rooms because the hallways were a bit dirty and the rooms seemed dated and dark. Otherwise it was a fun experience!
So far, our first day at the Stratosphere Hotel is good. First good impression! Later on, we'll be visiting the Casino and Tower. Based on the sighting, we have high expectations. I'll be updating more info after our nap .
--> 1st day: We got familiar with the Stratosphere Hotel map so we don't get lost inside and waste time .
--> 2nd day: We worked out at the Fitness Center on the 2nd floor. Next, we went to Elation Pool on the 8th floor which has 3 hot tubs and large swimming pool. A few lounge-style canopy rooms are available. A bar is also across from the pool. Plenty of seating available. Summer temperature is preferable and better to really enjoy all of this.
--> 3rd day: We rode the red Big Bus Hop-On Hop-Off bus to Circus Circus , High Roller where transfer to another but smaller bus . Next, it stopped at Excalibur Hotel . Then, it stopped at the MGM Grand Hotel (green building).
--> 4th day: It's today January 26th, 2018. I had a good workout at the gym...
--> 5th day: Is our birthday celebration. I made a reservation at the 109th floor restaurant .
--> 6th day:

While checking-in today (1st day) at the registration counter, I've brought it to the attention of the teller that previous customers have complained about a few hotel bathtubs were clogged and the water was backed up and travelers were held responsible and penalized by charging their credit cards on file. And she replied that if a customer did leave the water running, then after an initial investigated has been conducted, the hotel room occupant's card would be charged for the damages.
***And I did observe the water taking longer than usual to completely drain, about 1 - 2 minutes top.
The restaurants were all very good but the room itself.... horrible. No fridge no microwave no headboards tiny tiny bathroom with mold. Absolutely disgusting. And I had to pay a resort fee!! Like seriously? Huge disappointment
Rooms are clean and spacious bland decor. Casino is fun a good amount of gambling tables. Love the rides and views on top. Great discount card with free buffet meals when you gamble.
Seemed like they didnt have no food there even though covid is going on. Maybe I missed it? But it was clean and have awesome views of the city
I stayed here 2x for my visit to Vegas had no problem at all the food is over priced that s about all for me but great service great staff!!
I stayed here as a local and they made it difficult in alot of small irritating ways, not treated as guests. So the front desk told me that I didn't need the coupon to the skypod that I could just give them the room number which wasn't true, I got to the box office they said I needed the coupon so I had to walk back and forth trying to get it figured out waiting back in line, than at the pool there is no shade they intentionally put the lounge chairs out in the sun, so logically I move them out of the sun a few feet causing no harm and they made us put them back in the hot sun. I mean this place makes sure they make things just a little harder on you very step of the way. Ugh.....
Great view but too expensive just to go up the tower
The hotel is beautiful and I love the many shops, restaurants and clubs. Buffet was good for dinner, brunch there is pricey $$$ I don't eat that much Surrounding area is okay, many homeless people. They were working to clear the area. Many said the shelters were not safe. They will be fined and ticketed if they don't comply, new city ordinance.
This was the one of my favorite weekends we got married and spent it with just us to
Very nice hotel. This hotel is of the strip and sits alone. But you will not be disappointed. This hotel has everything you'll need if you don't want to leave to go out.
This will be my hotel of choice when coming to Vegas
Always good place to slum it.. and they have nickels too
I would totally give this 5 stars, but I just wish they had plant based options. It's very disappointing eating at a high end restaurant with clients and have to eat a plate of mushrooms. It's 2020 get with it.
It is a little different from the other spots in Vegas. The tower is a sight it's so high your ears pop. The food is ok I suggest going at night.
It was okay here small casino but the sky lounge at the top was pretty LIT.
This is a nice place to come to have a good time. Always great to go up to the top and relax. There are comedy shows, etc to relax and enjoy your night. My only complaint is the parking. The spots are tiny. Not much room to turn or drive thru it. Always hope no one comes towards me when I'm looking for a spot.
Side note, to get to the casino, make sure you get off on the 3rd floor, not the 1st.
Well hotel is ok. Rooms are old and dated kinda. Outlets are worn out wont even hold a plug in the walls. Internet hasn't worked yet and pretty sure they have a blocker to block cell phone data. TV doesn't work called front desk. Day 2 no tv still. Other than that it's ok.
Nice hotel, big rooms. In the lobby, there are different kinds of slots. So People Come and play there. I stayed at 22th floor and a was nice. Breakfast was not included but there is Starbucks so we did our Breakfast there. Definitely recommended.
Amazing food and view ... couldnt ask for greater experience in vegas..
Jumped off the building, it was great experience and they make you feel really safe.
Friendly and entertaining. Dont forget to go upstairs.
Great view from the top, after sun down best time. Table games dealers very friendly.
Newly remodeled rooms are nice. I was in the tower suite. 1 mom, 2 teenage boys. Was there for hockey showcase and would have several team members in there too. Plenty of room, didn't feel cramped even with 6 teenagers. Bathroom is huge! Mattress a little hard for my taste.
Waited 30mins in line to check in. Nice looking hotel. The rooms are nicely decorated. Clean. However, the electricity went out around 5am and did not come back on until 9:30am. Then to make matters worst the water in the entire hotel went out. So my sister and I went to a family member hotel to shower. The staff could not answer what happened. I over heard the staff in the hotel hallway saying they didn't expect the water to come back on today. I have a wedding to attend today.
Water came back on around 8pm the same day.
Staff friendly, the room was a different history, the beds were made and will assume clean, the rest dirty, lots of hair in the bathroom, dusty, smelly stain in the bed.
It's a good casino. We visited for show Celestia. It was awesome. Would like to watch it again. Team had done a great job. Wonderful aerobatics.
A wonderful meal at a must see place! Unforgettable! Highly recommended for your stay in Vegas
The rooms are dated. I was hustled out of $50 to do a timeshare , that I expressed I had no time to do if it was a timeshare! Never again.
Overalls good stay. The only thing I didn't like was the restroom setup. It was very condensed and if traveling with a friend makes it hard to get ready for. The shower has no door. Only a glass covering a section of the shower. Toilet next and small sink to get ready. A girls nightmare . The room was nice and clean.
On top off the world was amazing & beautiful so see all of those gorgeous light at night
Look, you get what you pay for. While my stay was a gift from a friend, I seriously considered leaving the moment I saw the room and I ended my trip early. I try not to leave reviews everywhere and be rude or ungrateful, but this place looks bad. I understand its "under construction", but if that's the case don't open until you're ready. Just pay more for somewhere else, please, it's worth it. Vegas should be "Wow!" Not "Oh No!".
Always love coming here for the view from the 109th floor
Definitely a great place to visit. The 106 stories bar has amazing views
Face mask and social distances practice. Elevators clean, casino clean, lots of security, parking free, restaurants upstairs, las vegas strip directly located on ave. Free valet parking. 40 inch TVS. With apps for nexflix, youtube, pandora, and STRAT guide around hotel. Pool and other amenities.
It was a nice hotel over all. However when we turned the air off the room smelled musky. And the bathtub took forever to drain.
TV don't work
Not acceptable on a really nice hotels
Go to walmart and buy TVs
Had a very relaxing and enjoyable spa day here followed by lunch by the little pool. Highly recommend, and will definitely schedule a visit every time we are here for an annual event we attend.
Great views of Las Vegas, great food and even better service! First visit but definitely not my last!
Amazing views! Wish the wind hadn't had the rides closed when we were up there. A bit expensive too. (Especially since we were there a little before they closed but we didn't get a discounted ticket for only being able to be up there for 15 minutes). (We only checked out the observation deck, not the hotel or casino).
Got here via Google maps, parked on the 3rd floor because access is a breeze through this floor. Walked 5 minutes towards check in desk, got my 2 card keys, paid my hotel fees and done! Everything was superb, checking in as easy as pie. Staff was helpful and accommodating. Room was clean and rejuvenated, however No King bed available in the "Elevate" choice. Celebrating my wife's birthday is why I came here
The room was old, and the toilet made weird sounds. Will not spend the night in the hotel again. The high point is the tower, which I would highly recommend whether it is dinner on the 106th floor, the lounge on the 107th or higher for the observation deck and crazy rides. The highest and best view of Vegas.
What a wonderful hotel! The staff in the VIP are very knowledgeable and friendly. The rooms are better than all of the other hotels that I have been to. I love this hotel! The Casino is top notch and they are making it better. Thank you Strat! I highly recommend this hotel to all of my friends and family because of how awesome my experience was with everyone at the stratosphere hotel and casino.
The staff was very nice and the casino was fun. My trouble with this is the room we got. I understand we got a room that wasn't renovated. But no little fridge? No coffee maker? The room looked like from a horror movie. Then you have to pay for a resort fee for a gym that's lame. But then again... this is Vegas and you pay for everything.
We visited the tower and rides. The place is a bit dated, and it's confusing at first because there are several elevators for different parts of the tower. Some elevators take you to lower levels and others to the indoor/outdoor decks and two of the rides, while another set of elevators take you only to the big shot ride (no stairs). There was an attendant present during the elevator rides so that was helpful. Locals get a discount if you have proper ID or proof you're a resident. Pricing is kind of expensive because there is a convenience charge too. Check groupon for additional discounts. Parking garage was free.
It took us over an hour to get to the Strat. When we got there 2 hours earlier than closing were not able to do Sky Jump. Tried to do 2 different nights. Neither time able to do. Very disappointing !!! Waste of a trip both times.
I celebrated my birthday inside the Stratospehere restaurant, and let me tell you, it is the best birthday I've ever had! The view is something that you just have to see some time in your life.
Awesome place to hang out for drinks and eating in Vegas. But you need an empty bowel to finish up the full course dinner. It is a revolving restaurant about 1150 ft above ground!!!
Worst birthday stay ever used to love coming here but this will definitely be my last visit
I've been coming here for years and I have enjoyed my stay everytime. The staff is friendly and there are plenty to do while staying here. Not to expensive, parking is good and room service is very respectful and on time.
Decent views.. Casino is a bit dated. It is what it is.
Also need to add : it s almost impossible to get service here . Waitresses in the restaurants ignore you then act like you re bothering them if you come to a restaurant . Sat in a restaurant for over 30 minutes and had to beg to get service . Another one forgot about us and left us waiting for the check for over an hour. Overcrowding on the weekends with not enough open so if you re here on a weekend good luck getting in anywhere. .
This place is pretty neat. Typical casino, mall, amusement park on top of the tower! I paid to do their "skyjump" think of it as a cross between a bungee jump and an assisted rappel. A cable system deceleration that takes you from the top of the tower to the ground. It's not for those afraid of heights, but it's not super crazy either.
The hotel and casino were clean. Staff is friendly. Offer Valet parking which may take a while depending on the time of day. Everyone was very accommodating anf willing to help.
Zero Stars Should Be An Option
The sheets had several what appeared to be biological stains (putting it politely), folded towels had what seemed to be make-up on some, a towel left hanging had hair and/or pubic hair on it, as did the tub/shower and a wastebasket that had garbage in it upon check-in.
Then, after notifying their "guest services" text-line, I was jerked around for hours after having to sleep in my clothes on top of the top sheet because the sheet was so stained.
The staff was very slow to respond, I had to pack-up and go to front desk to request another room after waiting over two hours for housekeeping to NOT show up. Allegedly no other rooms available that weren't "a serious downgrade". Then a supervisor contacted me after returning to my room and lo and behold offered another room that was supposed to be equivalent, but clean.
I had to wait for a bellhop to come with keys to another room just so I could shower, even though the room was in fact a downgrade and not the king-sized I paid for.
After a few more hours, finally transferred into a proper room (third time is a charm?) Tania, the supervisor had offered to "refund last night's resort fee", but said nothing about the charge for the disgusting room that I couldn't stay in. By the way, that resort fee was never actually refunded.
Then, upon check-out, I requested to speak with a manager, but was told by Barbara at the front desk, not a single manager was available since "they're all in group meeting". A manager was supposed to call after that "meeting" was over, but no one ever did. Can't say I was surprised given the absolute lack of disregard for guest service, satisfaction and respect.
As for other issues during our stay...their player rewards program is supposed to issue a voucher for the buffet after 300 points are earned in the first 24 hours of joining. I had over 440 points registered in the 1st 24 hours, but no rewards, offers or promotions showed in their system. Housekeeping was vacuuming the hallway outside guest rooms at 11:30pm. The 21 and over rooftop pool was late opening (another guest had to call the front desk) and then the security guard who finally unlocked the door was rude to the guests that had been waiting to get in. Once finally allowed in, the stairs leading up to the pool were already littered with plastic and debris and obviously hadn't been cleaned before opening. Construction in the casino was being done before temporary barricades were in place, making it unsightly and dirty. Once barricades did start to go up, guests were detoured without notice.
Obviously, competent management is sorely lacking at "The Strat" and with so many other options on The Vegas Strip, I strongly recommend anyone and everyone consider those other options.
Some photos of the disgusting room conditions (zoom in to see the details) *Not for the squeamish*...
A must when visiting Vegas the skybar is amazing the views are spectacular do not come to Vegas with I to visit in this hotel.
So excited first time playing here and playing Keno yay
Tower AWESOME, rides AWESOME, food 3/5 at the strat cafe
Amazing view of Las Vegas from up here! For the thrill seekers lots of different roller coasters at the top ! Kind of reminded me of the space needle in Seattle with the big indoor bar at the top
I love this place to death. If u haven t been there in a while. Omg they have and are making it wonderful for all. More spacious and bright as ever
The stratosphere is a good place to stay and is inexpensive. The downfall is it is away from the main strip and Fremont. It is in the middle of both so if your planning on trying different casinos it's best to uber. The sky lounge was an awesome hang out and the Sunday brunch was actually pretty good.
Cool experience. We did the big shot ride at the top. I'm probably getting too old for amusement rides but if you like them it is an amazing view. Probably better to do it after dark so you can see the city lights.
