The rooms are clean and nice. The hallway does smell like weed at times, but it seems like all hotels have that problem these days. The staff I spoke to were awesome and sweet. The food I ate was really great. The reason I didn't give it 5 stars was the location, it's far from everything. I didn't try everything I wanted to try, but will soon, and edit my review.

I really liked this hotel, however I didn't stay here. I was here for the rides up top! Which were fantastic according to my family! I walked around and shopped while they did the Sky tower rides, etc. The hotel seemed really nice, like it had just been remodeled, the casino and the bars looked really nice, and smelled good. Parking garage was a bonus (you can self park), I also liked the entrance for valet, it had flare! I liked it so much I may stay here next time?

It took wayyyy too long to navigate the hotel to even find our room, let alone the pools. For $30 it was nicer than I thought. Staff was EXTREMELY HELPFUL AND NICE and they are the only reason I am writing a review. Would prefer to stay somewhere else because it is far from the main area of the strip so its difficult to walk to things, but if you are on a budget, it is a good hotel.I can see that this would be a good place for families, as the main pool was humongous and had a volleyball net for people to play in the pool

Been here several time before but first as hotel guests. The rooms are spacious and super clean. Amenities are exactly what you need to have a great time in Vegas. The rooms do not have a fridge or a microwave oven but you won't miss those as fast food and buffet restaurants are everywhere.

I attended a wedding in the chapel at the top. It was a very nice setup with a beautiful view. The reception was also there and the food/service were excellent. If you're looking to host a small intimate wedding, I'd recommend it.

We chose the Stratosphere for a spur of the moment...

We chose the Stratosphere for a spur of the moment trip to Las Vegas at the end of October. They advertise very reasonable rates, but don't forget to keep in mind resort fees of around $35/night (I was not able to get a straight answer about what that fee is for, other than it's customary for all of the resorts to charge it) and tax. We were given a coupon book at check in, which could have saved us a lot of money, being that we were a family of 5 staying and usually eating in Stratosphere restaurants during our stay, BUT, the coupons specify that to use them one must be a mem er of a VIP club at Strstosphere, and we were not told until our last of 3 nights there that we could hve applied for the card in 5 minutes time, and ssved a lot of money with those coupons. Our room contained two queen beds and was VERY SMALL. Uncomfortably so for 5 people. No microwave, no refrigerator and no coffee maker, which made it so we had to eat out more than we might have otherwise. There was a tissue on the floor near one of the beds, that was balled up and very heavy (GROSS!) as well as hair in the shower. They have a group on the casino floor that stop guests repeatedly "to save [you] a lot of money with free show tickets" in exchange for viewing travel presentations. We spent almost an hour at that desk the first night we checked in, even choosing a "free" show to attend, giving our address and phone numbers and allowing them to scan our licenses, but in the end, "the system was down," so we qualified for nothing. The first night there we ate in the diner, and had a fantastic waiter, but our bill was $115 for a family of 5. At a diner. Starbucks is also extremely expensive in the hotel. The buffet at the hotel was mediocre. The family pool is only open 6 hours in the middle of the day, which was EXTREMELY inconvenient. I've included a couple pics of the surrounding neighborhood, which consists of many abandoned, boarded up buildings everywhere. We did try to resolve our issues with management by being allowed out of our reservation after the 1st night so we could stay elsewhere (Air BnBs in the area are gorgeous and very affordable), but we were offered a refund of 2 nights resort fees and told to take it or leave it). Management we talked to were unresponsive, not customer service oriented, and really took a casual approach to our valid complaints. This was my one week off this year and unfortunately things did not go well during our stay at this hotel. The hotel in Reno was fantastic, and now we are sorry we didn't just stay there for our whole trip.

My favorite restaurant in Las Vegas. Outstanding views, excellent food, and service. Unbeatable sunsets from the "Top of The World" revolving restaurant. It takes about 85-90 mins to go around.

First room we entered was dirty and not cleaned properly, but I called the front desk and they were very accommodating. They upgraded us to a suite for the trouble, no questions asked. The new room was great aside from the cigar burn on the coffee table and the grout in the shower being worn and a little molded. The staff was very nice. And housekeeping was on top of things.

The tower gives you a great overview over Las Vegas. You pay $24 per person to get up there, if you're not staying in the hotel. Is it worth it? I'm torn, because it's Las Vegas and not New York. You can't see all through the strip and just make out some casinos and resorts and otherwise a lot of desert. If you come from far, do it once, so you can say you've done it!

Another Las Vegas icon, this tower is part of the city soul. You can see it from anywhere in Las Vegas. In you want to have some good adrenaline fun, just go to the top floor and ride the many roller coasters that they have up there at 1000ft I think? It's also a nice place to have a drink and enjoy the view from all the city corners. Very nice experience.
