My experience was all good but the only thing I didn't like it wasn't a microwave in my room nor a microwave for the guest to use because I had leftover food I wanted to eat later but I couldn't warm it up due to no microwave so I had to eat it cold.

We ate a good meal at the Mexican place at the shop on 2nd floor. Casino was perfect temperature. No one turned into a popsicle! My friend made almost 900.00. Only an 80.00 investment. Good payout.

We booked a deal and had our room competely reserved and ready. At check in, they charged an additional $119 "resort fee" that was not advertised. This was to access discount tickets to shows (that are all canceled), to access the adult rooftop pool and bar (which is temporarily closed due to COVID), complimentary or discount meals at the buffet (also temporarily closed), and the fitness center (only ammenity we could access, but it wasn't anything more than most hotel gyms). Huge disappointment. It would be nice if it at least came with one or two free alcoholic beverages per day! If we were to stay in Vegas again, I would definitely look somewhere else.

I enjoyed my experience. The rides on top of the stratosphere are really fun for the brave at heart (I did it!). The sky lounge is amazing, has awesome view, but bar closes early due to covid. Check out Groupon or hopper for deals on attractions if you don't have a room at the Strat. We had friends staying here and came often. Strawberry Margaritas at the Casino are amazing

Overall, the stay was great! The hotel was spacious and had many activities to do! I would recommend watching Celestia! The comedy shows that we went to were also enjoyable! The only downside to the hotel was the rooms did not have a microwave or fridge. I think each room should have these amenities as guests bring food from outside and where would they store it? I thought our room also featured free breakfast but we had to get food each morning downstairs which cost a lot. This is what I would recommend to management is to invest in a microwave and fridge.

Stratosphere hotel and casino is a nice place but it is in a bad part of town you should probably carry a gun or a taser don't let your lady wander around alone unless she has protection as well and the staff is rude there was actually a lot of things I disliked about their service overall I wouldn't suggest anyone go there unless it's just to visit and see the stratosphere for the first time experience the rides on top and maybe the restaurant but as far as staying there goes it's not safe and people are rude

If you are balling on a budget but still want a decent hotel this is the place I wouldn't recommend playing cards or talking to the women. Good places to eat and the sky pod is the place to go.

This is another fun place. If you take the elevator upstairs you will see that their is a world full of shops & places to eat they even have a video arcade upstairs with cool games. If you stay on the lower level their is a variety of slot machines and restaurants. And Strat is located directly on Las Vegas boulevard so you can get out and site see. Aloha

There were no clear directions on where to go and what you were able to do once you get up to the top, and asking the staff was extremely painful because they were either extremely unfriendly and arrogant or did not know anything either. Not kid friendly. Three stars for the amazing views.

Reasonably good hotel to stay but when we got there we dint have the room what we booked. We had to stay in a room which was old and not renovated for a night till we were shifted to renovated room. There was too much noise from AC in the old room. Overall it's better than a motel and better than many of the other where we stayed earlier.

It's been a long while since I stayed here. It was nice back then. Then I came here with my Job. We had fun riding the rides and being at top looking out over everything. Was here last night to see Celestia. It was a great show.

Ok hotel and casino for the price minded traveler. But trying to upgrade you to a room that you expected in the first place not a great marketing strategy do t think I'll be back. They did ha e a great selection of craft beers and a super friendly bar staff.

Now I know there is a reason I have never stayed here in all my visits to Vegas. The room was so basic that we didn't even have a room number on the outside. I feel lucky we even got a TV. The bed was super uncomfortable and the AC unit in the room was ancient. I was kept awake all night by the noise of it. The casino dealers were literally lifeless. Nothing about this place makes me want to ever return. I gave it 1 star simply because the room was not dirty.

If you plan to stay here upgrade your room as much as you can because the standard and next up from there are really not that great, when we seen our standard room we were disgusted because the room was so dirty there was even old chewed gum on one of the pictures in the room. We don't plan on staying there again... But the tower was great at night the view was spectacular.

Sister got us a room on promotion. Nice room. Staff is very good. I'm not a smoker, so that part isn't fun, but that's what happens in Vegas. B or room didn't smell if smoke, though, so I was greatly appreciative. Would stay here again.

For a company that makes billions of dollars a year... This sure is a trashy hotel. There is trash all down the halls as you walk to your room. The smell of pot is overwhelming (filthy animals) the room was tidy but not clean. The bathroom was dingy. It felt like you we're going to contract a disease just by being in there. The toilet seat looked like it was in a fire and was partially melted. I will say one positive thing. The view from the top was amazing. Absolutely loved that. Also the elevators are FAST. 9 floors in 10 seconds!!!! Don't stay here if you looking for a "nice" place. Stay here if ghetto trash is acceptable.

Second time visiting the Strat due to free rooms due to rewards. Also recieved free buffet, which is great with a variety of food. Rooms are nice, decent since just use to sleep and shower. Took bus each way to downtown and strip. Can't wait to go again.

Room is fab... immaculate and bed so comfy and huge ( we chose to upgrade to a newly refurbished room with mountain view ... 17th floor) well worth the little extra money. Pod coffee machine and fridge and great walk in shower.

All the staff we have met have been so helpful and friendly... especially the wonderful girl at reception (I am so sorry I forgot her name). It is a big hotel, so checking in queue took about 15 minutes. Arrived yesterday so may add to this post later.

Their Management is full of Sh#$t. They send generic replies but do not call back. You would think they would want to hear from customers to improve their services for next guest. This place is a dump and overpriced!! Don't waste your money room 12-113 was disgusting and bathroom was filled mold/mildew, clogged sink and tub.

The casino floor never smelled lile cigarettes. It has a sweet smell like of perfume in the air. The staff was awesome! Rooms were clean and up to our satisfaction. Thank u for making my 1st vacation in 16 years a memorable one!

Totally revamped renovated and relaunched the Strat offers quality discount packages that are hard to miss at this set to its own slice of the strip. Poker players though be aware, the poker room has downgraded and is not the local pick up game it was in the past. However it survives while other poker rooms have disappeared this last year.

One of the better hotel rates in Vegas due to the fact it is either the beginning of the Strip or the ending. You have to drive, catch the bus or the tram to see the whole strip as walking would take too long especially during the hot summer days.
The waitresses and bartenders are friendly and so are the table game dealers.
Under new ownership so I cannot review much more as the waitresses have new uniforms and parts of casino has already been renovated and more to come.

We visited the bar for cocktails and appetizers. They were fantastic!! The service was wonderful. The food, outstanding! We went to the top of the tower and the views were breathtaking. Such an amazing place to visit!

The good, it's a large casino with a lot of rooms, and the rooms, or at least the ones for an upcharge are modern looking now, albeit small.

The bad, this place is way, way, way overcrowded. NOBODY cares about you here. We had a problem getting customer service where we waited over an hour for someone to come to our room, four calls and a talk with a supervisor later, they finally set someone up here, no apology, no discount, no comp, NOTHING!

Also, the hotel is really cheap, so they won't hire more staff at the front desk, where there is often a two hour wait just to check in. The hotel also gives you zero discount for getting tickets to their own show. You can buy tickets cheaper on the strip for someone who isn't even staying at the hotel.

Finally, the hotel is very far from the strip , so you'll need a car or need a bus ride everywhere you go. The location is also in a seedy part of town, where it looks like they're about to film an episode of Cops.

I was extremely disappointed with their hotel. The room was not the one I booked and very dirty. I booked a king but they gave us two queen beds. The toilet didn t flush right, the blankets were stained, and there was hair all over the bath tub. Everything about this hotel looked cheap. I ve stayed in nicer motels. Housekeeping even walked in on us in the morning without knocking! When we checked out they re system was down so I had to just write my name on a price of paper. I wouldn t recommend at all.

Very cool must see location in Vegas. It's definitely amazing to see Vegas from 80 stories up and be able to see so far in every direction. The ride at the top was pretty cool too. Definitely worth the $5. Just make sure you get your ticket at the ground level or it'll be $15 if you buy it at the top.

The Strat (as they've self branded themselves) is a pretty neat concept. The views are great, the rides look like they could be fun (I only had the nerve to do the controlled jump).

The rooms are a bit dated, and smell heavily of cigarette smoke (despite being non smoking rooms). I was in 3 different rooms (friends) on different floors and in different towers and they all had this issue. Also the ducting and venting allowed you to hear conversations from other rooms. This might actually be a positive, as I found it amusing.

Happy hour in the 107 lounge was a hit otherwise you were paying more for drinks and so-so food then I did at the Bellagio.

I likely wouldn't stay there again unless the price was jaw droppingly good.

Go at night for the view, go during the day for the food! The view during the day was a bit drab, other than the people falling from the roof... but the were so few people there that we were able to have the full attention from the staff for anything we wanted and the food was delicious! The atmosphere is a bit dated, probably looks better in dim lighting at night.

We went up to the sky pod, and on the way down we were stuck in the elevator for 25 minutes with no explanation why. The elevator operator also let 3 different groups in (a total of 9 people with the operator) so it was very crowded.

We were on holiday from Australia and chose to stay at the Strat as it was a more affordable stay for a few nights and was on the strip. An all day bus pass is more than handy to get you to all the places you want to visit along the strip and there is a bus stop right outside the Strat! The casino floor was nice, the room was as seen in the pictures (newly renovated) and the cafe was great also. Staff were very helpful. Would stay here again!!

The hotel lost my reservation. Once they finally gave me a room it was a single for 4 adults. The rooms are small and not very clean. House keeping would not clean the room during my stay and I had to call the front desk and request clean towels daily. During my stay the alarm went off and we had to evacuate from the 19th floor. Hotel management didn t even know the alarm went off and was only concerned about why I didn t have my mask on after running down all the stairs. Other than the view from the top of the stratosphere I see no reason to ever visit this place again.

Had a great time, I drove from WI to take my 36 yr old daughter there for her first time.
Last time I stayed at the Stratosphere was 24 yrs ago, when I took my Best Friend, now of 48 yrs.
Only problem I had, lol, when I took my girlfriend they had construction going on by the Tavern back by the tables.
When I walked in with my daughter, ahhh,ah, couldn't believe it,, Same thing, construction again, & in same area. That was a Huge downfall for me, we stayed their for 5 days.

See attached photo. Receptionist got us good with the "upgraded" view trick. Lmao! And the less than adequate customer service offered by the "tool" at the ride ticket counter was beyond pathetic. If I want talk to someone regarding travel to the top of the stratosphere, I'd prefer a person that's not preoccupied tossing a pen in the air while speaking in a dismissive manner, and can't even make eye contact with me. I walked away thinking he must be quitting his job soon. All in all our stay was a zero star, but it's impossible to rate a zero on here. Alas, I'm forced to send one star to represent zero.

Amazing view loved every minute! Went to the observation deck at night and the view was breathtaking. As you look out over the city that is blanketed in light you see what appears to be the end of civilization as the darkness of the desert makes lines of night dividing them both. Me and my spouse just stood and stared at the scenery, we would definitely recommend this to anyone!!! We also ruled the nickle slots and won $55 dollars from $10.

Initially, we were given a room that although was supposed to be non-smoking still smelled of smoke. It did appear to be clean, which is a plus. The main issue though was that there was NO hot water. Also, there was only one washcloth for 3 guests. We were given a free upgrade to a newly remodeled room ($30 value). That room was clean & comfortable. Hotel staff really weren't apologetic for the inconvenience though of us having to re-dress, take luggage back down to service desk, & up to new room. I thought something more than a $30 value should have been given to us for the inconvenience.

We came to the Strat to watch the MJ Live show great show by the way then go to get something to eat. We made reservations at the MCCALL'S HEARTLAND GRILL so they gave us reservations at 9:45 so we had a hour to kill. Came back to the restaurant and waited another 30 minutes then told us to go to the bar and eat no service there so we left. Terrible service will never try to rat there again.

Going in to out, I was concerned about some negative reviews, I'd read online.

My room wasn't available (Elite King), but they just put in an Elite Queen instead, and I had no issues with it.

Due to Covid-19, the "Vegas hotel experience" was lacking: no shows, no buffet, some of the restaurants/lounges were closed, but that was too be expected, I suppose.

The staff, though. They're the superstars here! They were all very nice and extremely helpful.

The casino was nice. I mean, it's a casino.

My biggest complaint, is the persistent smell of pot, that was EVERYwhere. I know the hotel officially doesn't allow ANY smoking, and that they cage really police that policy, but still. It was pretty bad.

Been staying here 3 or 4 times always had good luck. This time I called to make a reservation was comp one night for free I was excited till I got to my room today and was disappointed with the room. I have stayed at better quality motel 6s than this it looks like the 70s died here. Called to front desk and they said all I can do is pay more money to upgrade seriously I wish I was told when I called I was staying in this time warp.

My room was decent. My bed was kind of a nightmare, & caused back pain due to the springs being so messed up & I am beyond grateful that I had two beds in my room so I could go to the other one! The Strat is not as wonderful as it is talked up to be, but it's kind of like Hampton Inn minus the continental breakfast. Room had a beautiful room of the mountain / canyon. A lot of the issue I had was mainly the beds being uncomfortable & the 'crazies' that were around (an assumed druggie followed me back to the hotel).

The most amazing view. Just wish we'd booked a table in the revolving restaurant. Back in 2 years to it's on the agenda for next time. Lost of nice comfy sofas near the bar for you to sit and watch the sunset on though

Not fast service or cheap food, but I honestly am so glad we came here. We had dinner here on our last night in Vegas and sitting at a window seat watching the city sparkle and rotate while enjoying some wonderful food is something I will not soon forget. The steak was good, you could taste the "flame" on the meat opposed to the super hot broiler often used in steak houses. Sides were excellent and they helped us pick out a tasty bottle of Shiraz as well. Great experience, but plan to spend a few hours for the whole process.

Checked in after midnight at the Strat. I booked a package deal at the perfect time so the room was free excl resort fees, not bad. Went up to the Lounge on the very top for a nightcap. Since it rotates you get an amazing view of the city below. The beautiful display of city lights, headlights and not to mention the beautiful sky as well. I didn't participate with any of the thrill rides above me because i like my heart inside where it's safe. It was a short stay for family but i managed to squeeze in a workout in the fitness center. McDonald's inside the resort doesn't have a dollar menu, I've already asked. The two beautiful outdoor swimming pools on separate floors is a must try. So many amenities they offer. Parking is very safe and convenient. I don't gamble so i can't offer any inputs there... enjoyed my stay here, thank you.

It was horrible !

It was horrible !

This is a really fun hotel to go to since you can go and ride rides over 866 feet up in the air. This hotel has so much to do and it has a chapel and restaurant up in the top also so you can have a wedding 106 stories up, what a view you can have. It is the tallest building in Las Vegas and has some really awesome views from the top of the sphere and night time is even better since you can see the lights from above. This is a great experience that I enjoyed while I was in town.

Rented the Grand suite. Upon entry to the hotel which by the way has changed ownership the new hotel name is "The Strat"!! Free valet and free self parking. There is a $39 resort fee and $50 refundable deposit. The check in process was a little delayed as there was a long line and self checkin was closed. Overall the hotel is beautiful and has been updated. As a Las Vegas local this is one of my favorite hotels when I want a Staycation on the strip. The grand suite was $166 total for 1 night on a Thursday. My room was located on the 10th floor, view was alright I had the site of ac vents and partial city views facing other hotels. This was a smoking room which provided a vent you can open and close by the window to let smoke out. There was a sofa bed and 2 comfy lounge chairs in the sitting area including a mini fridge and coffee maker. Large flats screen in the sitting area and facing a king bed. The Jacuzzi area was able to be exposed to the living area or closed off. Bathroom was clean and very attractive. Will continue to come back to the Strat!!
