Fun beer garden with games and plenty of room. Selection of beer is a little small, but delicious.

Was upgraded but noticed no coffee in morning until 7:30 and many amenities ,(iron) not included in room.

Went to the Standard Grill. Good Bloody Mary, great oysters!

We stayed here for our 1 year anniversary and couldn't be happier! Niko pleasantly surprised us with a nice note and bottle of champagne, and Mike was nice enough to bring it up to us on ice! 10/5

Nice place to stay and right on the highline. Nice view from the 16th fl of the city, water, and Statue of Liberty.

Extremely well kept and well appointed the Standard is different and great. Excellent location and the Highline is a real treat.

Don't expect to check in early or request a late check out. They don't do that! Sort of important as a business traveler. So much for "accommodating" accommodation requests.

I'm not a frequent traveler to NYC, but this place seems alright. It's odd... Take a look at the video loop and music in the elevators. The gift shop sells strange expensive art. The rooms aren't huge, but big enough. You can see right into the shower from the bedroom, which I've seen in other hotels, but still strikes me as funny. The staff here is very very friendly. I got a coupon for free beer at the attached restaurant upon check-in.

Late night food was good but they wouldn't let us sit outside. The waiter made fun of my friend for not eating both buns.

Absolutely amazing hotel great views from rooms and the bars and amenities will not disappoint. Will be happy to make another trip next year, and our stay will be here again. Thank you The Standard!

Seven years after its opening, the first Standard Hotel in New York is still great and one of my favorite places where to stay in the City. It's hip and it offers a unique stay. Staff and management succeed in offering multiple experiences in one compound (hugely satisfying Grill, fun beer garden, outstanding bars and clubs - wow Le Bain!) that is anchored in the culture of the Meat Packing and of NYC.
Rooms are simple but well appointed, of good size for New York city - do not expect luxury.
Recommendation: south-facing rooms between the 10th and 14th floor are best. Top floors. located under the clubs are good if you go to bed late in the night.

I prefer the northern view. Also the bathrooms with the pink tile have more character than the ones that are glazed black. Ice skating is complementary for guests and a fun activity.

Terrific location.

Very hip and stylish hotel whose rooms benefit from fabulous river and city views. Makes you feel hip and stylish by extension. I absolutely loved the decor in the rooms, and the beds are soft and outstanding. I do recommend avoiding a room on the 17th floor because of the booming from the club on the 18th floor until the wee hours of the night. I actually had to switch out at 3 a.m. to another room lower down, but the staff were super friendly and responsive about the whole situation.

Service at the bar was okay, not great. Despite not being crowded, we we're slow getting both our drinks and the check.

I have stayed at this hotel several times over the years! Very convenient location and walking distance to all the restaurants and shopping center. Easy access to anywhere you want to go to! We're all happy because we could stroll around the place where the hotel is located. This is the perfect place for all of you. You will not get bored during your stay!

Rooftop Bar is an absolute must for visitors. One of the best spots to see New York. Great Music and Great Vibe.

Funky downtown hotel. Bathtub was in the middle of the room but it has a great view.

Wonderful almost 360 view. Petite portions and prices exactly the opposite to match, but delicious food. The interior is mellow with a soft yellow glow and light brown wood. Animated, but soft jazz music created a lively atmosphere, nestled over the sound of happy chatter. All in all a place with a particularly American type of glitz and glamour.

Great vibe and staff. And then there's the view! Getting a bit dated but still great.

We had a lovely room overlooking the High Line. Large with a big bed. Very delicious food at the Standard Grill.

The food is amazing- and the drink menu in the summer time is absolutely incredible.

I LOVE this place!! I stayed here as part of a set of meetings with Google and loved every minute of it. I ve been working in nyc for a decade and have never stayed in a hotel that restored me so fully. I will fight to stay here every time I come through the city. The rooms are perfect. Literally an optimal use of space, easy to rest or work. Cool cool cool. Amazing products and vibe. Theses folks have figured out what it means to run a hotel in today s world. Come here if you can. It s the best by miles.

Nice rooms, great views and good service, but gets loud on weekend nights and getting the elevator can be a pain.

The Living Room lounge bar here is cozy. Lots of nice drinks. A bit costly but you pay for the ambiance I guess. crowd can get a bit annoying as every one keeps taking selfies..

If you fancy a coffee at 11pm after your long journey, they even got a fresh pot at the ready. They have a decent DJ playing suitable tunes from 3pm into the night until 2am. They close @ 4am.

Tried to meet some friends at their rooftop bar called La Bain. They got in before us with no problem and without a reservation. After waiting in line, they told us we needed a reservation. Yet, they were letting others in without looking at any guest list. They were extremely rude. I have never been turned away from a bar like that. I understand that some clubs look for a certain criteria in their clientele. My wife and I easily meet that criteria. We spend a lot of money on entertainment in bars and nightclubs. Avoid this place and save yourself the frustration. They ruined out entire night because we couldn't get to out friends. It's not worth the taxi ride.

Noisy room, pipeline is rusty and makes it impossible to go to sleep.
Once you take a shower it covers the whole floor with water. Weak Wifi that would barely allow you send Whatsapps messages.

The most AMAZING stay I've had. Not just because of location and great deal that I got booking directly with them, but because of the team. ANTHONY, and Manny just to name a few of those that made my stay their memorable

Great atmosphere and setting for lunch. Good menu, not too long, but good selection. Can be left waiting for your table even when you book, it's very busy.

Rooms are nice and it's a fun atmosphere and friendly staff! Internet is really slow though

Lunch was delicious. Great setting and particularly love the chocolate chip cookies and milk dessert.

Was going to Le bain. The door man said I could go on but my friends couldnt. I didn't like that so I left.

For a "FANCY" Hotel to not allow a Naval Officer in uniform in the bar due to not meeting the dress code is REALLY BAD. Needless to say, my business along with my shipmates, fellow retirees, friends, and associates will be staying elsewhere. And to have it happen on Memorial Day speaks to the stupidity of the staff and management.

I work at the grill, so I may be bias. The rooms were small, but very beautiful view and set up. The room was very unique. I am not sure about the service because I only stayed there one night and did not spend much time in the room. One idea I have to make it more unique is along with the great toiletries provided, condoms may be a nice addition. This room is not family oriented, so many people are probably couples and business men. It may add to the uniqueness. Also, information about the grill, beergartien, and plaza would probably be great for guests. It would help raise income and awareness for those places. Often guest want to know where to go. By placing that thought in their head blatantly, it may push them towards the Standard. Being in service, a comment on gruitity would be great, too!

If you are thinking of the perfect hotel, this is it. They thought of everything. They even have umbrellas, speakers for music, books in the rooms and amazing late check out. If I have to think of something they could add, is a toilet brush.

Get a room as high up as you can. Lift music/video is very trippy

Good place to party, but gets overcrowded. Admission to the place is weird enough to make you feel like you're not welcomed there. Overpriced drinks that don't taste close to what it's supposed to be. However if you're the person who doesn't care for service, and you're willing to enjoy the magnificent view, that would be your number one choice. Enjoy )

Loved my stay here. Hotel is pretty eclectic, very hip. The location is great, and the views (especially from the south-facing rooms) was phenomenal. My new go-to hotel for business trips to NYC.

Fun place to go, decent drinks, great view scenes from the rooftop bar, great location, cool hip trendy parties themes.
Went for drinks and had a good time, the bar tenders could perhaps look little more Polished.

Went for Easter weekend for petting zoo and beer. The zoo was a cute setup but I was not too crazy about the ticket system at the biergarten.

We had a wonderful stay, with excellent service from Brandon... and the room was amazing!!! The view was breathtaking!!!

Fantastic hotel! The grill downstairs had great food and the atmosphere was excellent. The floor to ceiling windows that overlook the city, the water, or three High Line are incredible. Lots of light poured into the room. The shower and bathroom design are modern and super cool.

The walk was beautiful and so peaceful. Not nearly as crowded as when there is an event.

You don t have to be a ROCKET SCIENTIST to look at a person in their Military Dress Uniform and make the OBVIOUS conclusion that they not only deserve RESPECT but special consideration since THEY are gracing your establishment with their presence and patronage. I am so disgusted by this action that I cannot let it go! Our service Men and Women deserve our respect all the time and deserve to be treated like heroes, all the time as they protect your very right to have a dress CODE. Very poor STANDARDS!!

The inside looks like something out of the 70s it looks old. The rooms don't have privacy for the shower/tub. I didn't stay because of that. Staff was nice though. But don't stay of it's a group of friends it's just awkward. Bathroom is sperated by glass and everyone can see you
